It's the worst possible mistake to switch to EE broadband. Bad customer service and horrible stability (my house is just 5 meters away from the exchange). Used Sky before, no problem at all.
STAY AWAY from EE broadband! -

Two words - Awful service. Have never gone on web to write a review before but I am appalled at the service to date from EE (and I have not even received my broadband yet). Encouraged by "customer services" advisor to actually cancel the order so I have! Avoid. -

The internet speed is ok in my area , but the it is the customer service that they have got to improve. Service is bad . The operator will often transfer your call & make u wait for a very long time ( more than 10 minutes ). -

I have been a customer of T mobile for many years; I have two mobile lines with them. I'm due to move from my house to new address, and EE offered me a broadband and landline package. I had very bad experience with the customer service when i phoned them yesterday to enquire about my new order which suppose to start in 8 days time; they bounced me from one person to another five times and kept me on telephone line for 65 minutes to reach to a very rude woman in the broadband department; she even hanged up on me while I was talking to hear.
I was so cross and upset I decided to cancel my order with EE home broadband after I read the previous very bad reviews. I'm so lucky to transfer my current service with BT to my new address.
Customers and buyers…….have peace of mind and stay away from EE customer service. -

No, I do not work for EE, just in case anyone gets that impression. It seems that if you have anything good to say about EE, then people think you work for them or are paid to do it. I switched from Talktalk to EE this week. My phone line switched over without a hitch and although there was a slight delay in activation of my fibre broadband (apparently caused by BT) I have been up and running for the last three days without any hitch, speeds of about 40M on average - and that's from a slave socket at the opposite side of the house - 22M on the wireless network in my office. No drop out. No interruptions and my movie streaming is flawless. Maybe I'm situated in a good area, or maybe I'm just lucky, but I haven't had a single thing wrong with the service I get from EE. The router arrived in good time, plugged it in and let it synchronise for five minutes, entered my password for the wireless and that's it. Up and running with no fuss or drama. I'm happy and based on my experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend EE to my friends or family as an internet provider. Far better than my Talktalk internet service, which did drop out far too frequently, usually half way through booking holidays or buying stuff online. As a self publishing author, I also need to upload my book files and design covers, and this was also frustrating. It didn't give me the speed that they claimed it would, and at weekends it was practically snail pace. So, I'm happy I switched, and I'll say it again for the suspicious...I do not work for a get paid by EE to say this! Okay? -

One word - BUFFERING. If you enjoy watching that lovely circle turning in the middle of your screen go with EE. Absolute rubbish. Don't do what I did and ignore the reviews to save yourself a couple of quid every month. Stay clear! -

Stay clear. I had my broadband connected 6 days ago and today and today they try and take £91 from my account. Broadband wasn't turned on until a week after the promised date. I signed up for a half price deal, never got it.
Phoned costumer service to discuss and I have to say to phone operative was dam right rude she told me the half price deal I was promised would be applied within the first 12 month. My advice is to stay clear -

EE is just a NIGHTMARE! Since the beginning of January I am having about an hour internet per day, with a speed of 0.2 Mb/s, otherwise there is no connection!!!! I called tens of times, and every time they ask me to look at the router homepage, unsecrew the phone socket et the usual rubbish, then apparently they raise a bit the speed on my connection so I get the internet for about an hour then the connection is lost again for the rest of the day!!! Don't go with EE please. -

I bought this package as it was only going to cost me £2.50 a month and that I could remotely connect to my place of work. It turns out that the remote connectivity is not part of the package and it was definitely not mis-sold. You can have your £55 EE and keep your shoddy broadband and poor customer service. I'm off! I suppose you get what you pay for. -

This is the worst company in the world. i went with ee thinking i was getting away from what i though was the worlds worst company talk talk but as bad as they are ee make them seem perfect. only been with ee for about 3/4 months and had to raise a numver of complaints due to incorrect billing and customer service and moved home and took them with me due to refusing to pay cbf and they have just told me i will not be getting any broadband service untill the 15th of jan due to it being fiber and they can not put me on adsl untill then yet im paying for a service i cant use what a joke can not wait untill they put up the prices so i can leave this scam of a company or hopefully they get shut down first but how unlikely is that? my advise to anyone wanting to join ee is to run as far and as fast away from them they are nothing but theives. -

Retro style is fashionable in many areas, one can buy retro cars, clothes, furniture even wallpaper.
Lovers of nostalgic styles will be happy to note that EE have now launched their retro internet package. With EE "Broadband" you can now experience the internet as it was in the good old 1990's with abysmal download speeds and repeated dropped connection for seemingly no reason what so ever. hurrah I hear you say, for how long has the word buffering been missing from our lives. The excitement of waiting for a simple email to open, the near stalling of your connection when six o'clock approaches. Its all back with EE's internet package unfortunately they seem to have missed out the old 56k dialling tone which is a shame but otherwise its the complete experience of historical internet access.

I work away so before swapping ISP I explained to the salesperson I would not be in to receive the router or complete the DLM test (I was assured it would fit through my letterbox) and DLM could be done later. A month later I got home to find it in my bin. After hooking it up I noticed it was very slow 0.572kbps so I called them up, no joy except leave it on for 10 days, I had already explained I could not do this as I switch off the power when I leave. So xmas leave comes along I have 2 engineer visits who both assure me my line is ok and my IP profile is banded as the power was off when they checked my line... Exactly the same as with my last ISP who fixed it in one phonecall, now its my last week of leave (the only time I'm home for more than a weekend) and they have finally decided to cancel my contract but I would rather sit at home with an unusable xbox one and smart tv than be associated with this disgrace of a company. I actually resent using my EE mobile now as its perfect... -

The speed dropped by far than half since I joined EE ( I was with Talktalk)I was sold this package with discount because I am orange mobile customer. Now I know I made a huge mistake when I joined EE. I am very disappointed with this broadband. I never had any problem with my land line in 8 years since I am with EE this service is a nightmare. My warning is be wise and stay away from EE. -

Absolutely the worst company ever. I was promised my broadband/phone package would be up and running 4th October. 19th October got my phone line and still had to wait for broadband. I called everyday for a month trying to sort. After 1 month could not get my old telephone back then was told I should have kept my old router from at least 5 years ago as they were not going to send another. Now it constantly goes offline, slowest I have ever had. Stay well clear. -
