The cheapest EE broadband deals start from under £25 per month.

Power users can sign up to speeds of up to 1.6Gbps with EE's 'Busiest Home Bundle' ideal for entertainment fans and gamers.

  • Can you still only get part-fibre?

If your area hasn’t been upgraded to full fibre yet, don’t worry. Because EE uses the Openreach network, almost all UK homes can access fibre broadband.

These part-fibre deals start at around £25 per month and are fast enough for most households.

The UK’s full fibre rollout is expected to complete by January 2027, meaning most homes will be upgraded before your contract ends. Some providers may even offer courtesy upgrades or better renewal prices.

Mobile broadband

For homes that don’t have access to fast, fibre optic packages, or for people that want a more flexible option without installation, EE offers a number of Mobile Broadband options.

These are available using either 5G or 4G networks and are available with fix data limits or unlimited data at an extra cost. A range of contract lengths are available, but as standard - shorter contracts tend to come at a higher monthly cost.

Home phone calls are available to EE full fibre plans only. These are digital calls and don’t require a traditional copper phone line.

Add these options during checkout on flexible, rolling contracts:

  • Pay per call (£5.73 a month)

  • Unlimited UK minutes (£20.66 a month)
  • Unlimited Minutes & International (£25.24 a month)

EE offers broadband and TV bundles with a choice of devices: Apple TV 4K, EE TV Box Pro or EE TV Box Mini.

You can also add TV options during checkout. Most have 24-month contracts, so check the details carefully.

  • Big Entertainment (from £32 p/m): adds NOW Cinema and extra discovery+ channels.

  • Fibre, full fibre and mobile broadband explained

Fibre Broadband (FTTC - ‘Fibre To The Cabinet’) - also known as ‘part fibre’.

A mix of fibre optic and copper (making use of traditional phone lines for part of the data journey from the Openreach street cabinet, to the property), limits download speeds to around 67Mb. This is still a good speed for everyday streaming and browsing, though doesn’t leave much scope if you live in a busier home.

Full Fibre Broadband (FTTP - ‘Fibre To The Premises’)

100% fibre optic cable direct to your home, with speeds up 1.6Gbps for EE full fibre customers. Perfect for busy households, remote workers, heavy online users and gamers.

    Mobile broadband

A broadband service that relies on a mobile network signal rather than a fixed line. EE’s Home mobile broadband deals use mobile data but come with a router that allows you to connect 100+ devices - suitable for multiple users. Meanwhile, portable Wi-Fi dongles are designed for Wi-Fi on the go.

What router do you get with EE broadband?

Most EE broadband packages include the Smart Hub Plus, a Wi-Fi 6 router controlled through the EE app. You can manage connected devices, pause Wi-Fi, and enable parental controls.

EE’s fastest packages (up to 1.6Gb) come with the Smart Hub Pro, a Wi-Fi 7 router with tri-band technology. This delivers extra bandwidth and less interference.

If you’re given a Wi-Fi 7 router or Wi-Fi Extender 7 Pro device, you’ll also get a speed guarantee – at least 100Mb in every room or you could claim £100 back.

4G backup

4G backup is available on a rolling monthly contract. Connectivity Backup can be included to your bill as an add-on during checkout.

For an extra £10 a month, you’ll receive a 4G router that automatically provides a back-up broadband connection if your home service goes down.

You can cancel this at any time, but it could offer peace of mind if it’s vital you have a reliable connection, such as if you’re working from home.

EE social tariff – affordable broadband support

EE doesn’t have its own social tariff, but eligible customers can apply for BT Home Essentials.

You’ll need to be receiving one of these benefits:

  • Universal Credit
  • Pension Credit (Guarantee Credit)
  • Employment and Support Allowance
  • Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • Income Support

Have your National Insurance number ready when ordering.

Existing EE customers can switch to BT Home Essentials at no extra charge.

What you get

  • 12-month contract you can leave or upgrade anytime
  • No early exit fees
  • Fixed price – no annual increases

Read more in our social tariff guide.

The Genie

Genie Tip

Switching takes around two weeks, and there’s usually no loss of service.

  • Does EE raise its prices every year?

Yes. EE broadband prices rise by £4 every 31 March. Switch when your contract ends to avoid paying more.

If you sign up today, you won't experience your first price hike until 31 March 2027.

  • Which is better - BT or EE broadband?

BT owns EE, but EE often offers faster speeds and more advanced routers. Pricing and broadband contracts are similar, though BT doesn’t offer a switching credit.

  • Do I need a landline with EE broadband?

Only for standard fibre deals. Full fibre packages don’t need a landline, but some older connections still rely on one.

  • Do I need to pay a set-up fee with EE?

Most EE deals have no setup fee. A one-off £50 charge may apply if a new line installation is required.

  • Are there any promotions or discounts for EE broadband deals?

Sort by

Our deals are sorted by how popular they are with our visitors. The more people clicking on a deal - especially if they then buy it - the higher it is in our tables.

Sponsored deals are not factored in when sorting by popularity.

Pricing Calculation

Effective monthly cost = This shows how much you are effectively paying each month over the length of the contract by taking into account rewards savings and one-off fees. The calculation for this is monthly cost x length of contract + setup cost - rewards savings.

Monthly cost = What you'll pay each month. This does not include additional fees, such as phone calls, which may be added to your bill.

Setup cost = The cost of installation, postage for the Wi-Fi router, and any other one-off charges.

Total Price Rise Costs = This is the additional amount paid over the course of the contract based on any annual price rises by the provider.

Rewards saving = The value of vouchers and other perks included with a deal such as cashback, bill credit or a gift card which you can claim.

What does this mean?

The speedometer gives you a quick idea of how fast a deal is. Speeds are shown in average download speed (Mb/Gb) – here’s what each level means:

💡 Tip: You don’t always need the highest speed, but it can help make things smoother and future-proof your home.

What is a trending deal?

A trending deal is a package that has increased in popularity in recent days. We base this on the number of people clicking on, and buying the deal.
