DO NOT TOUCH. Supposed to connect with them on 4/3/14, phone connected but no Broadband. Every time I called customer service I was told lies and told to call back in 48 hours and we'll definitely have an answer for you. Eventually I was told I would be connected in less than the 13 days it normally takes because of the problems I've had then they sent me a text to say id be connected on the 1/4/14, this was in 18 days time, not less than the 13 they said. I cancelled and im now waiting on a new supplier. Thanks to EE I've had no broadband since the 4/3/14 and I now need to get a new home phone number too since they've messed that up too. Please don't go anywhere near them. -

Great service with no issues, plus getting 10gb data booster for my phone since I'm already a t-mobile customer is ace. My fibre from ee has been running fine, most of the bad reviews on here are probably talk talk and sky employees running scared. I would recommend we broadband to anyone especially if they already have a mobile contract with them -

i won't use ee broadband again. i was losing my broadband connection on a daily basis up to 3 to 5 times a day for nearly 2 months. i had to switch off the router to regain the connection every time the connection was dropped. i have called ee numerously and no one could solve the problem. some technicians said they managed to find the cause and promised that the problem was solved while others said they were unable to detect the cause of problem. some operators were impatience and were rude to me too when i spoke to them. last operator i spoke to promised me that he managed to solve the problem but the connection lost again while i was still having the conversation with him. i cancelled my contract with them on the same day as i have had enough with their service and product quality.
i also had to contact their billing department 3 times to give me back the £30 credit which was part of the promotional deal when i signed up to their service.
now i have switched to plusnet and i am happy with their service, no problem. -

slow speeds, Indian call centres that keep hanging up calls. No promised return calls. Kept on hold for 1 hr plus, so called on second line and after 10 mins put on hold again !! There are much better service providers than these clowns -

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BROADBAND!!!
I signed up to the broadband, and it was a complete disaster. When I tried to cancel it, I was put through different people and they were rude, and dismissive. Guess what? You can't cancel it until after 1 month, or else you have to pay over £100. I'm going to contact watchdog, because this simply cannot go on. -

i wish we had never got home broadband with EE. Customer service is disgraceful, broadband doesn't work when connected with sky box the three people i have spoken to have all told me different things, i have been sent 2 wireless routers now. they won't send an engineer to solve the problem so refusing to pay for the service and sending the equipment back to them. Never had a problem before with other broadband providers. -

swapped to ee about a year ago and to be honest Ive had no problems at all (so cannot comment on call centre). The day it was switched on my connection went from 2mbs up to 7mbs ,stable connection...might be just good luck but i find ee satisfactory... -

It was fine for a few days then it all went down hill. We lost our internet and when we phoned to ask why they said that the internet will not be up for 2 weeks. because they "accidently" disconnected us and then they told us to go and buy a dongle out of our own money and we all needed the internet for important courses and homework so we had no choice but to buy one. Thanks alot ill be sure to tell everyone of my experience. -

Can't actually speak for the broadband reliability and speed as we never got that far. After it was suggested that by joining EE we would benefit from easier broadband installation with less hassle I signed up,and was told my installation date would take 'around 10 working days'. I was not informed that the fibre broadband would take 17 instead, although I'm sure this is in the paperwork somewhere and it is probably my fault for not reading the small print, though it certainly indicated a lack of transparency from the salesperson (what should I expect?). As we received the router after only a week I rang up to enquire about whether our activation date could be pushed forward and I was told not, which was absolutely fine. HOWEVER I found out later that day that the person on the end of the line had actually deactivated and reactivated my order, meaning our activation date was pushed back by yet another week. As we have already had numerous problems getting internet for our new flat I cancelled the contract and signed up with a new provider.
I appreciate that our experience may have been a one off. However there is zero advantage to signing up with EE in terms of the installation process, as you are liable to have to wait just as long or even longer for your activation date as you would if you were getting an engineer installation with any other company (and you are in the position of not having a person there to help if you run into problems with it). 2 stars rather than 1 to customer service as at the very least they didn't try too hard to talk me out of the cancellation. -

Right, this Company is just so bad, their broadband is quite frankly disgusting .They lie about not slowing the speed down at peak times but then again its always slow anyway.Their customer service is just terrible (Cue shouting Indian fella who does not give a f**k and just tries to sell you more crap to add to your monthly bill ).I will be getting rid of EE as soon as i can and their mobile service aswell because thats no better either! Avoid them please i beg you ! -

It is cheaper than BT, and faster than BT too (moved to fibre, and i still cost less). BUT I've been calling them non-stop for five days now (well, once approximately every hour) to get help with a technical issue. Every time I have had the message "There is currently no-one available to take you call <disconnect>".

If I could give them -stars I would! After signing up with them in January and being installed I have had nothing but problems, my activation date was the 24th of February and then the 25th of February because of a problem (still didn't come on) I then rang and was put on hold for ages and passed from person to person 5-6 times to people I couldn't understand and then people I couldn't hear they then said that there had been a problem and that it would be active on the 4th of March and then I went through all the process again with the holding talking to people and explaining again and again to then be told activation would be on the 12th no reason given even tho I asked, then come the 12th again not on so rang again and again through the same processes again and then told the 17th, the 24 (today) still not on now they are saying the 10th of April I demanded to speak to a manager and had to wait for a call back and have just got off the phone to him and he has said that be will be fast trackin my order (after waiting this long you would hope so)!!!! And he has now said that it should be on within the next 3days! We will see what happens then because let's face it probably won't be on even by the 10th!!!! I won't be waiting anymore they have 3days or I am finished! Good luck all those who are with EE (*the fastest most reliable network*)!!!!! Lol xxxx -

We switched from Talk-Talk, having read the reviews I was fully expecting awful quality from EE but their switchover process was flawless, and the main thing, SPEED, has been as good as or better than Talk-Talk was. Avg 10MB download, which is fine for ADSL. Streaming video works better too. Not one issues of reliability or speed so far.
Just thought I'd add my experience by way of balance ... -

The worst experience ever! Constant broadband problems which I did not experience with TalkTalk in the past. Very rude and unhelpful Indian customer support which wastes a lot of your time.
I recommend to pay more and save yourself time and maintain sanity.
