We have been using EE for more than a year and honestly I have always received quite good services from them. I'm surprised to see so many complaints as because I have none of them. Good speed, no network problem, well I'm satisfied. My company uses this broadband as well. My company requires an all time stable connection as we have to do a lot of research on properties, buyers, sellers and market. We need more of everything and EE provides it all for us. My company recommends it to other as well. Thank you EE! -

Honestly havent experienced such poor service anywhere in fact they should be called Terrible Allthetime. Started the process to move from SKY to EE early April its June 4 and still on Sky... Oh, I had a letter stating what was going to happen next AFTER I had called to cancel and was talked round LOL (and given, well promised, £50 in M&S vouchers) they say they've tried to call me ??? all I can say is think before moving to EE. Ive heard the speeds are good and the product reliable but it is the disconnect between Ops and Sales that needs sorting out. Ill give it a week and then cancel and complain to OfTEL or whoever it is these days. -

EE broadband is satanic and this is the least I can say about it. I signed a contract with EE past November and was told that to cancel it I had to only pay £26 pounds and I could do so at any time in case I'm not satisfied with the service. Firstly the router came almost two weeks late and guess what happened after then, I set up everything and there was no Internet AT ALL. I called the customer service and they were HORRIBLE, the stupidest most dumb and thick minded people work for EE customer service and they never considered my problem or even took it seriously they would just send in an engineer who would come in after a whole week and would do nothing useful at all and they kept on repeating this for SEVEN times without nothing new happening and no Internet at ALL. In the end I realised I was wasting my time which was almost four hours each day talking to them and it was all useless so I just stopped and asked to cancel my contract. In order to do so I was asked to pay £170 pounds to cancel a service THAT WASN'T EVEN WORKING IN THE FIRST PLACE, IMAGINE HOW MESSED UP AND UNFAIR THAT WAS!!!!!! Being a student I didn't have that money to cancel my Internet so I just let the monthly payments continue up until now which is £179 pounds for no service at all JUST MY MONEY GONE IN TO NOTHING. And now when I finally decided to cancel it cuz I'm leaving for the summer I had to pay an extra £80 to do so!!!!!! SO A TOTAL OF ALMOST £260 OF MY MONEY HAS GONE TO NOTHINGGGG THANKS TO EE BROADBAND. It's disgusting and atrocious how unjust this was to me and I just want to warn everyone although I don't usually write reviews but DO AVOID EE BROADBAND AS MUCH AS YOU CAN THE SAME TROUBLES THAT I FACED COULD BE FACED BY YOU AS WELL SO AGAIN AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY COULD RIP YOU OFF BADLY AND THEY COULD BE SO UNFAIR TO YOU AND THEY DON'T EVEN CARE AND IN THE END YOU LOSE.
I hope everyone boycotts them so they can never treat people so unfairly!!!! -

The worst service ever. It is not the first time that my broadband doesn't work, but it is the only company who bases its hotline in INDIA! Impossible to understand these people. Internet still does not work. It stopped 2.5 weeks ago. I talked more than 10hours in total with several Indian guys. No one could fix the problem. "start the router" "change your password"... same questions. zero improvement. Still no internet. -

Awful speeds (2Mb download and 0.01 upload) and really horrendous customer service. They barely speak English, are not able to explain what they mean and make everything harder than it should be. Please, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. I am. Even if the speed isn't their fault, the bad customer service is their fault. I would rather get the same speed but decent service elsewhere. -

The consistency of service provided by EE is absolutely shocking I get a better speed using my neighbours wifi than I do using my own, it's nearly as bad as the barley operating 3G service I receive on my 4g contract,
Sometimes the broadband is so poor I end up tethering my phone ( maybe that's why they gave me moor mobile data)
Do yourself a favour and don't bother with these muppets -

I have to say I am surpirsed by all the negative comments below. I took the home broadband from EE when I upgraded on my mobile contract. Customer service was fantastic, router was delivered on time and trackable, activated on the correct date and have received very consitant 7.7Mbps via WiFi ever since. Could not be happier! Was only receiving 6Mbps on Sky previously. -

Have never been so frustrated at such poor service. Wifi worked fine for a few weeks and then slowed to 0.3. The customer service staff barely speak english and are rude, slow and unhelpful. I have spent 6 hours on the phone to them and my issue is still not resolved. I would urge anybody thinking about using EE to seriously re-consider. I've never felt the need to write a review online about anything, but EE really are DREADFUL -

Dont use them if you want to move house. Go for virgin or sky as EE moving process is rubbish in my experience.I work full time and am used to getting calls from delivery companies before they deliver so i can go home and not have to take the day off. Sadly EE cant offer this service as they are unable to talk to the engineers. So tomorrow i have to wait in for the enginner from 8-1. -

Stunned. 37/10 as it said on the tin. Consistent, good even at 8pm, the version 2 router is really good with great gift range. Massively better than BT at 8 or less for same price. -

Pathetic. The speed I get is 0.3Mbps. That is not enough to watch a youtube clip. The internet is virtually unusable in my house as a result. Worse than dial up speeds in 2014. This may be EEs or BTs fault. I have no idea. But after complaining for 2 years nothing has improved. -

I went in an ee shop for a broadband and they activate a broadband in THE WRONG address, I've called the help centre and they say it's my fault without help me at all.. almost shouting because I call them 3 times! is that even possible? I'm still struggling without internet for almost 2 months! I seriously start to think that I've done the worst error of my life. -

BUYERS BEWARE SCAM!!! SCAM!!!! SCAM!!!!! this network has to be the worst one I've ever experienced in my life, the customer service teams know absolutely nothing about what they are talkin about , the managers are rude and very argumentative, I've rang up todAy and been called a liar and fraud. I haven't had signal propally since I've been with ee, they are the worst network around and I have full 4gee with the iPhone 5s and unlimited everything And they can't help me. I will be cancelling my bank account so they are unable to transact any money from my account . Andi will not bee paying them for a service I was promised but yet never receeved. Thank you and good day -

my personal experience with ee is terrible. I use ee for my broadband. No one can activate my internet at home, no one shows that they care, all they told me to do is to wait. I have been waited someone to set up my broadband at home for one month. Finally the engineer came yesterday and he wasn't willing to make sure the broadband work before he left my home. he said to me it should be working. he asked me to try it 10 mins later, but it didn't work! who i can go to if he left my house if it doesnt work?? I still don't have internet at home and i called today, they asked me to wait until monday for further advise. it doesnt sound promising at all i am guessing they are going to tell me to wait for another month on monday, I am absolutely disappointed by ee. All i wanted is to get my internet works at home, and we paid for the service. Don't make your customer to wait forever and you can't even deliver what you said you would.
Comments:
- First guy who 'sold' the deal to me gave me factually incorrect information.
- The deal turned out not to be as advertised.
- I spent over an hour on the phone trying to sort it.
- Half the staff didn't know terms or general information about the service.
- In the end I told them to cancel it because I don't trust they will deliver or that I won't continue to have these issues once the contract was signed.
- Also I found out that even though I am on a 30 day contract for my mobile... apparently I can't drop my contract down a level... What's the bloody point then?
SUMMARY
Thoroughly disappointed with the service from EE, might move my mobile service also as a result.
