Two months without reliable connection. Was told same answer over and over again but no action. Rude customer services staff who cut me off a few times. I would not go with this provider. There is no value for money. Worst mistake of my broadband life. Indeed not all broadband providers are created equal. Run for your sanity. -

Unfortunately, I can't give negative scores for anything, but if I could, it would be negative infinity for every rating. Calling the service EE provides "broadband" is a joke, as it hardly qualifies as any internet connection at all, let alone a high-speed or high-bandwidth one. I received faster, more reliable downloads on my old 14.4kbs modem, even when it wasn't plugged in. Perhaps shovelling this garbage into their customers faces is some brain-dead scheme by EE execs to encourage take-up of their fibre package, but in reality all it does is make people curse their name and write reviews like this. Great work, you modern-day Einsteins.
If you're reading this, and you work for EE, why do you continue to work for such a company? Do you hate yourself? Do you hate everyone else? You are literally contributing to the general misery of humanity, and not even in an interesting or devious way, just in a lame and pathetic way, by wasting hours and days of your life working for a terrible company. Have a shred of self respect and resign. Even if you end up begging for change on the streets, you'll still be contributing more to society.
In conclusion, some things more pleasant than using EE broadband: Getting your face vigorously massaged with a cheese grater, eating and excreting an entire beachful of sand, exploring an electricity substation using only your tongue, punching a wall made of razor blades, drinking a bathtub of dog saliva, having bleach poured into your eyes, swallowing a live cat, etc. -

Appalling customer service. I would not use EE again. I took advice well in advance of moving house about the options of transferring the service to my new address, transferring my current service back to my landlady and setting up fibre in my new house. Every piece of information I was given by phone was incorrect. This included how to transfer an account into a new name, the notice period required (I was told none several times but have now been charged both for 14 days and a disconnection fee). New contract was mis-sold both by price and coercion (customer service agent lied about price plan changes that were due the following day). When I finally cancelled everything and made a complaint the customer service team could be heard heckling and whooping in the background. Completely unethical business with no interest in customer satisfaction. Also takes 20 minutes to get through by phone and several of their advertised numbers are routinely cut off once you've got through if they are busy. -

Don't waster your time with EE. After limping along with a speed of 0.2, I resorted to phoning the Helpline three times. Three times I was cut off after spending nearly an hour each time going through all the same points. They agreed the speed was slow but did nothing to help. I couldn't face anymore non Helplines so have now ditched EE & changed provider. Very happy now! -

Product/cost: EE Broadband unlimited with anytime national, international and mobile calls, line rental advance / £22 pm (1st 3m £5 off)
Firstly, I do not work for EE. I have read many EE reviews here after I switched. I don't need mega broadband for P2P or gaming, just for email and catch up TV and I am happy so far with what I have bought. The switch was handled smoothly and was on time.
I moved from legacy Talk Talk with free broadband several weeks ago and have cut costs by a third - even over free broadband - as basically all calls are inclusive and as my wife lives on the 'phone and her parents live abroad, that's essential.
The router setup is plug it in and that's it. Set up Airport with details provided on a handy plastic card and working straight away. It hasn't dropped once and connection uptime is continuous, unlike the Talk Talk dropping every hour annoyance.
Speedtest increased from 1.89 Mb/s to 3.80+ Mb/s. Best though, the choking or traffic shaping that rendered the internet and especially BBC iPlayer unusable has gone. Streaming is continuos without re-buffering and two laptops can stream catchup reducing arguments.
I haven't needed to call customer services to complain about anything so far, though they called us to see if we were satisfied. If I ever have a problem with customer services I will complain in the EE shop with a raised voice on a busy Saturday morning.
All in all I am happy with this product and with the service that was and is provided. I have no reason not to recommend this. -

I've had internet at crappy hotels better than this :l They wont even help fix it, they tell you it's your fault and tell you to unplug everything and plug it back in. That isn't going to help their problems. Don't bother with them, it's not worth it. -

Be-cartful, don't join this rubbish provider.
Service is very bad.
No one knows what is going on.
It take forever to get connected. Costumer support is rubbish, waste of time.
Support is rubbish not technical knowledge.
Communication is really bad.
No one can be bothered to update you.
All what they care about is getting money from you ASAP.
Over all please avoid them. -

If possible I wouldn't even give EE/Orange a single star for rating. the customer service is very poor. The staff are very rude when you speak to them. not only that, the staff lie. They say they will provide you with this that and the other however, they provide you with nothing. Th company gives customers false hope that they will try to help however all the do is speak and do nothing. I moved house and had very little to no reception. I called so that the company could do something about the signal. I WOULDN'T ADVICE ANYONE TO GO WITH THEM! -

Very bad broadband. It keeps stopping. Do not choose this wifi. It sometimes cannot connect and the tips on the website do not help at all. Same with the customer service, they are very bad at communicating with us especially theI Irish or foreign staff. -

I have been waiting since the day I recieved my router- for over a month- for EE to fix it as it's never worked. I've been passed around between Ahmed and Gourab and Raheem repeatedly. They tell me a higher tech team will be in contact, that never happens.
They diagnosed me with a line issue, now they tell me they need to diagnose it again, and for that I need to go out and pay for a landline phone to perform the tests myself again. They tell me that if they send an engineer who finds there's no line fault, they'll charge me £50-60 for the job. I told them I will eat them if they do this.
I've called them so many times now that I can tell you their entire 'on-hold' play list, which includes the likes of Katy Perry, Foo Fighters and Pixie Lott. I feel like Alex from a Clockwork Orange, with my eyes pinned back watching the horrors of terrible customer service and outsourcing. -

Swapped to ee broadband recently from talktalk and saw an immediate increase of 2mbps, which is amazing for someone who was only getting 2Mbps to start with. The switch over was very easy with ee handling everything and the people on the phone gave me all the information I needed, had no problems getting in touch.
Overall I am very happy, especially since I enjoy online gaming and have seen a great increase in the quality of my games now throughout the day -

I can't get over how pathetic EE is. Having it for my mobile phone, where I was promised 4G in my contract, I can actually never get. To be honest, I can't ever even get 3G and my signal is useless almost everywhere. I also have it for my home broadband and phone calls, where the speed is slow, and they often block websites that come to great use for me due to my education and personal hobbies. I'm getting really disgusted at the staff on the phone after asking why my internet is so slow and why there's often many errors with it, I've rang three times due to them not being able to understand what I'm saying, and putting me through to different members of staff on the phone and then I'm still getting no where. If anything, I'm lucky to even get to talk to them due to the horrendous signal I get. I live in an area where I got full bars for when I was with Sky and T-Mobile for my mobile. I recommend EE to absolutely no-one, not even my worst enemy!!! Not worth a penny, seriously. Don't bother wasting your money on this horrific company. You're better off with Sky or BT etc. At least then you get your moneys worth. -

Customer sevice is shocking, i ordered fibre broadband in march, i was connected in april without any change to my speed, only getting 2 mbps download and 0.37 upload.I called cutomer service who took me through all the tests they could offer,i was told to wait for 48 hrs while they done checks, i called them back went through all the checks again, still no improvement, this carried on for 2 weeks i call them they say they are looking into it. I called to cancel but they kept putting me off by saying give it a month and we will get it sorted and they would not charge me for that month. I left it for just over a month, my download speed had increased to 9 mbps and upload 4 mbps, but they had guaranteed me 27 mbps download speed,i called customer service they again made me go through all the checks again, by now i'm just about sick of all the crap they keep giving me. I asked again to cancel, they told me i had left it longer than a month before i called them back and was told if i wanted to cancel i would have to pay them just over £250.00 or have a BT engineer visit, after being told that and already been let down 2 times before by BT, i tried my best to tell them i still wanted to cancel, their attitude on the phone stunk, they were very adament i had to pay the £250.00 or have the engineer visit. I opted again for BT to visit and was told if the engineer could not speed up my broadband, then i would have to wait for another month before i was entitled to cancel for free. This time i asked for an exact date to call them if i need to cancel. I am now waiting for BT to visit, i would still like to get the best speed but on the other hand i wish i could tell them where to shove it. PLEASE AVOID EE BROADBAND. -

I signed up for EE broadband and promptly cancelled after reading the extremely poor reviews on this site.
I then read the reviews for Virgin, BT etc (which incidentally were just as bad!!) I decided that people probably only post bad reviews and do not bother with posting good reviews because they are satisfied and cannot be bothered to take the time.
I decided to jump back in s**t or bust and go for EE £2 a month unlimited broadband with free weekend calls.
I have to say that I am totally satisfied with the service I have received. EE communication about the process and ongoing communication about the installation was top notch.
I did intially have a problem with the speed of my broadband which was incredibly slow (the phone socket in my house was at fault) and so I had the chance to see how good EE were at sorting out problems. I would give them 100% in their efforts and their endless calls to me to deal with the problem. I even had a chance to speak with the call centre in India and found the tech guys there very helpful.
My broadband is now running smoothly and as I was previously paying £29 with BT for unlimited broadband (not even Infinity) along with their mandatory charge of £1.75 for their call waiting service, making a total of £31.75 per month I am now an extremely happy bunny with a yearly saving of roughly £350.
My speed now is equivalent to what I was receiving from BT on their bob standard BT Hub.
So peeps I would say to you take the plunge and give EE a go.
