PATHETIC, Avoid it, worst service you can get. Ordered a house move request, 15 days and engineer visit is done and still no sign of Broadband. I have spent hours on costly PHONE CALLS. You will reach customer care in 30 min waiting time and then customer care people will transfer your calls 5-6 times and in end some one will hang up. FRUSTRATED !! .... Please avoid. I will now have break contract and pay 100£ and shift to perhaps Virgin or someone else. -

What an absolutely horrendous company EE are. I've had various problems for 18 months. I took out their fibre broadband package due to the low cost and promises they made.
I was promised caller ID which never materialised, a Bright Box 2 router but I was sent the older Bright Box 1, and fast broadband which never happened.
During peak times I would struggle to achieve 5mbs although I was quoted an average of 30mbs on ordering. Occasionally I would even struggle to reach 1mbs.
Also, when I try to visit a website or use an app the internet just won't work every so often unless I refresh the page.
To top it all off they removed free evening weekday landline calls from my package without notice, I only realised when I recieved a huge bill the next month.
Avoid like the plague!
I'm now with Sky and they're such a breath of fresh air in comparison. -

Thought i woould post because i looked at reviews following initial frustration when i moved to EE and was annoyed with the service. Why then the good ratings. Well perserverance won the day and i have had three providers who were unable to diagnose a simple problem which EE have now fixed and after i perservered.
My speeds were always 1mb or thereby n switched cause EE guaranteed 3MB. AFter switching i was still only getting 1 MB. I contacted EE and had to go through the usual rigmorol of switching off on etc ethernet connection Foreign contact centre, blah blah. Nothing worked. Eventually they diagnosed a noise imbalance and sent out an engineer from BT. He spent about three hours at my house All free and replaced just about everything still no joy. Eventually he went to local exchange and found a "spare" connection which shortened my route to exchange, Voila instant 8MB. Initially when switching everything back on i got 4mb but eventually over a week the line trained up to 8MB nearly 9mb. I also had one other issue with EETV in that the You tube was freezing after say 10 mins. I contacted them and they have informed it is a known issue which they are preparing software upgrade and will be on all boxes remotely over the next three days.
So after three weeks all is well with a little bit of perserverence and some misunderstanding and communication on both parts i couldnt be happier therefore creidt where its due. I realise i might be lucky as i now know that there are several factors to gettting good broadband but as i say credit where its due to EE as they were the only ones to fix a three year issue at my house.

Ordered broadband with weekend calls on 15th December 2015, it is now 25th February and our service has still not been activated, no one has had the courtesy of calling to update us, tried calling customer service , on hold for very long periods of time, they told us that no money would be taken from our account, however they have started charging us for a service they have not yet provided. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

Honestly why is EE so bad?? I have had my mobile with them (orange) for 15 years and have always been pretty happy. It was a good deal, too good it seems. Poor customer service, no-one seems to care that I am 10 days without internet which in 2015 is unbelievable! Can't use my TV as I would like (no netflix or iplayer) and I was left internet-less on my birthday. As my family are not UK based, the fact I couldn't Skype etc was a real problem! They need better training and far, far better management all round. -

Fibre Slowband. I was persuaded to 'upgrade' from my quite reliable copper line broadband to EE 37Mbps fibre broadband, What a complete farce it turned out to be. Fine in the day but at busy times the speed drops to as low as 5Mbps! Streaming video content is impossible. The so called customer service is terrible. The off shore tech support team are pathetic. You spend hours trying to get help and it amounts to nothing. Some are rude, most are uninterested. Others put you on hold never to come back to you. I've been told on more than one occasion there is a system fault, try again tomorrow. Utter rubbish. The problem is contention ratio, either that or a deliberate traffic throttling policy. I'm not sure if any other provider is any better but I can say avoid EE at all cost if you want to retain your sanity. -

This is the worst wifi we have ever had, it is stupidly slow and most of the time wont even load up a page even though it says it is connected. -

They boast good value, that is if 'great value' includes no internet and a lack of customer service.
It took over a month of EE dragging their feet before we even had a connection. Now it just cuts out intermittently every few minutes. Worst connection I have ever had.
To make matter worse the customer service is just as poor. We have made at least 15 calls from the outset to try and get the internet working properly. We just got passed around advisor's like a baton, to then be left with no result. They say they will contact you back and then do nothing. When you finally ask to speak to a manager, there is a 'form' they need to send and then again you hear nothing!
I wish we had not gone with EE. I have to work from my Android hotspot at the moment thanks to this. Poor all round, wish I could give zero stars. -

I went with EE as they offered a good deal at £2.50 per month. Well you get what you pay for? I found poor customer/technical service. Spent many hours speaking to someone on a distant continent. Going through the same checks over and over again. Calls up to an hour at a time (including waiting). Low speeds down to 0.4 mb/s. Just can't wait until next week.....I am moving ISP! -

Overall, very disappointed with EE. The relationship started badly. We were three weeks without an internet connection because EE mishandled the switch over from Talktalk. Thecphonevworked but no internet. No apology of course and no compensation although to their credit they didn't charge me for that period. Now, having been with them for six weeks, so the speed should have settled down, speed is just about ok in the day but hopeless in the evening. It's even too slow for EE tv to work properly. As for browsing, it's too frustrating to try. Wish we had stayed with Talktalk; their speed was much more reliable.

Worked out of the box when delivered back in Nov 2014 cant complain about speed as getting 13MBS compared with 1.5MBS before upgrade
Strangely BroadBand username and password settings bore no relation to those on the card in the box...It worked so I left it alone..
Stopped working monday evening and was unable to get through to customer services on Tuesday before travelling to Europe
Back today and spent an 45 mins in an EE shop trying to contact Tech support...No answer again
My son found some info on the net so we logged into the router and changed the Broadband user name and paswword to the ones on the card..Didnt work
Bit of messing around with the username and it finally accepted it with the suffix @fs .....
Can only assume the Router was setup under a default account IE Not mine...EE discovered this and killed it....
This is poor service especially when you cant even talk to someone...
Dont even think about using EE for home Broadband unless you are VERY Technically confident....Im no expert but do this for a living....

I moved to EE from sky and was initially impressed with the offer they provided. However, soon i realised the quality of service is poor. Both broadband speed and also the customer service. To start with I tried calling the customer service early in the morning/mid afternoon and both times it took them almost an hour to even pick up the call. Very disappointed !!! -

Would of given it 0 stars if possible!! Speed slows to unusable at peak times and not much better the rest of the time.
I had a fault and had to call the Indian call center multiple times. They ask u the same questions and u never get anywhere, Some just put the phone down. Told me there was a fault outside the house then sent an internal engineer. Given up now and just put up with the fault until the 12 months expires. DO NOT USE -

Worst broadband i have ever had , best i have had out of ee brightbox 2 is 12.2 mbps upload , 1.9 mbps download .
Rang them a while ago , took me ages to get some sort of answer , they took me through setting and made a few changes it then improved very slightly but after a few days back to square one , trying to go on youtube or watch a movie is like waiting for an amstrad to load up "PAINFULL"
