EE stole us without permission from BT. Their underhand tactics left us in no man's land for two weeks as I had to re register as a new customer with BT. The law has changed and new providers no longer need a Mac code. So they just went ahead and poached us!Surely some sort of law has been broken! Anyway, they have dreadful customer service. EE should be avoided at all costs. They are an unscrupulous company. -

Dreadful service provider. We have had so many problems since Orange went over to EE and it's virtually impossible to get through to anyone competent. We went without internet for two months and we've had enough and gone with BT. These people shouldn't be in business. -

worst provider ever, I registered with their cheapest bundle and immediately got the creeps when I received a confirmation with wrong bundle. So I cancelled immediately and within 14 day, EE said all sort of lies as to why they didn't process the cancellation in time, they really tried their hardest to make it hard to cancel, I then contacted Ofcom, am glad I cancelled, god knows what else would have happened -

The customer service is the worst ever! I went to a EE store to cancel my broadband but I was informed that I can only do it calling EE. I called, spoke with a Peter that refused to identify himself saying he doesn't give his surname on the phone! Ended up cancelling the broadbad but got no document proving that i've done it and was informed I would need to pay 29.60£ disconnection fee! EE is very easy when you want to start a contract but so bad when you want to leave that make you never want to come back! -

EE HOME BROADBAND -the worst experience I had in my whole life.i would not even give a star.
Do yourself a service and don't use this company.theri technical team is useless and customer service even worse I spent 7 days and several hours of my life trying to get the broadband fixed ,they sent down an engineer that messsed up things even more.for someone that relies on Internet for work from home this was a massive inconvenience.i had the phone put down on me many times and spoke to people that didn't know what they were doing.
Just please please learn from my experience and don't use EE!!!

First I had trouble with the bright box being delivered and I even paid a bill for nothing and now the internet wasn't activated on the activation day like PROMISED... Clearly from reading these reviews EE need to sort out their customer service. -

There is really nothing good to say about EE, but there's plenty of bad! I can't believe they are allowed to continue with business. The service is absolutely shocking, I thought Sky was bad but these people are a complete joke. Not getting a penny out of me! Speed is terrible, the customer service constantly fob you off, but they let u know when your bill is pretty fine that's about it. -

If you like nostalgia, go for EE broadband. The connection is so slow, that you think you are stuck in the 90s with a dial up modem. If you want to watch youtube, EE might not be the company for you. The customer service is a farce. You have to explain basic concepts to them when it should be the other way round. At least they have seen IT crowd. "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" -

The speed is good and the box is pretty decent. I prefer that to BT's fibre offering.
That's the end of the good bits. The customer service is shambolically bad. I've been with them for a week now and I've spent over an hour on hold to the customer service line, waiting for an answer, because they've overcharged me by £62.50 on my first bill and because my caller ID has not worked since they took over my line. I am still no closer to having these, I would have thought relatively easily rectified problems fixed despite being promised that it would be. The distinct impression I get is that they really don't care about customer service. -

Persuaded in store to take up Home Phone & Broadband with EE. Always been ok on mobile phones and they told us we could keep our email address so got ourselves talked into it. Worst move ever! E mail stopped working, spent hours on the phone waiting to get through - then cannot understand what they are saying most of the time. Technical staff were abrupt, rude and very unhelpful. Asked to speak to a supervisor and they put you through to a phone that rings for half an hour then cuts you off. Get through to their complaints team who promise to investigate and call you back and a week later you're still waiting. Get back in touch with the original store and turns out they lied!! Letter done to their Head Office and Ofcom. -

Unbelievable, i wan't to upgrade to fibre optic, spend 10min on phone going through all the particulars, then right at the end he says "you have to have a mobile phone with us to get fibre optic" what the hell has a mobile phone got anything to do with fibre optic broadband. The mind boggles, my contract runs out in August so will sign up with someone else... -

This is a must NOT buy ISP!
I had Virgin, Sky, BT, TalkTalk none had problems, and now am stuck with EE luckily am going back to Virgin as they provide best internet in UK. EE is one of the most awful providers ever, not to even mention their customer service, one of the most terrible services you could imagine. The person on the other end doesn't give a damn what you say, they ask you if you tried to turn the router on and off, they do a connection test which doesn't tell anything and lastly they will make you pay £50 for an engineer to come and visit your house to fix an internal problem with your dial-up box. If you had an internal problem you can simply fix it yourself, nothing hard just YouTube it. Apparently there is never a problem with EE it's always you, the router or the line. What a load of bollocks. Internet keeps cutting off, impossible to play video games, PING 500 :D. When I call them they say my internet connection is very stable and there is no problem. Ahh screw you EE am so happy am never gonna have to come across EE ever again. -

I tried to leave my Orange Home Broadband after two and a half years of loyal custom. What a nightmare! I am convinced what they do if it is not illegal is at the very least inmoral.
Orange had me hanging for 45 minutes to start with. Then they were not having it. No matter how many times I stated "Will you please give me the MAC Key that my new broadband supplier requires", the operator was trained to ignore my request and refused to hand it over. The patronising treatment was insulting and humiliating. After 20 minutes begging for my MAC Key, operator said they could not tell me over the phone and I would receive this in five working days through the post. No 'thank you for your custom' or anything remotely similar. -

If I could have give a zero rating I would have. Been with EE for over 10 years with, in all honesty, no problems until now - Broadband and home phone have been down since Wednesday morning, keep ringing (Indian call centre) and keep being fobbed off; called last night requesting to "leave" EE and was passed to a "Manager" - this "Manager" was one of the tech team at the Indian Call centre! He assured us it would be up by midnight - now 8am the following morning and nothing. Called again first thing requesting an exit code to leave - we told them in no uncertain terms we were leaving because everyone we've spoken to has lied, then told nobody starts work until 9.00am. I am actually shocked at the level of customer (non)service - don't touch this Company with a barge pole. -
