This is the first online review I've ever done. I've felt compelled to express just how bad the EE broadband service is and hopefully save someone else from all the grief I've experienced with EE. I was persuaded to take up the offer of EE broadband and move over from Talk Talk (who themselves are pretty poor). Regretted it ever since. Customer service is possibly the worst out there and the Broadband is very slow (when it's not dropping out). I've had 2 EE engineer visits and an engineer from BT, but still the issue cannot be resolved. After spending literally hours on the phone to EE I'm fed up with calling the call centre to report no internet but today I felt a sense of relief when callling to cancel my contract. After giving my valid reasons for cancelling this appalling service, the impertinent, odious little creep I spoke to actually had the audacity to suggest there would be a 'cancellation charge'! I swiftly corrected him. Moving to Virgin now and can't wait to be rid of EE. -

Internet was terribly slow during the first few months. After the 12 month contract we decided to end the contract because we were moving out. Customer service told us that we had to pay an cancellation fee of £29. Unacceptable. We didn't sign up for this. If we knew this from the start, we'd steer clear away from this company. never using it again. I hope others don't too. -

Absolute rubbish! Broadband buffers all the time, impossible to watch a film. Customer service in Pakistan is diabolical, they lie saying the new settings need time to adjust. I had talk talk in a remote area before moving here, with no problems. Will be leaving ASAP -

Switched from sky after 5 years to save on money. Been with ee for 7 months. In that time have had no connection for a total of 37 days. Have had 2 BT engineers and 2 routers but still problem persists.
Customer service is atrocious. If they can not solve your problem, they will hang up! When you ring back you have to start again. Been trying to cancel but apparently I have to report a fault for 30 consecutive days.
Do not buy! -

My parents now have this monstrosity providing their home internet. I was out of country for almost two years, so therefore was unable to advise them against the change. Upon trying to it to play some online games on my laptop, I was greeted with speeds akin to late 90's DSL, or even dial up. I don't know how any internet can be this crap in 2015. -

Just recently had phone and adsl broadband installed and it's all gone super smooth. I was cagey having read some of the reviews on here but so far all is well.
Well done EE. -

Placed an order with the company as I am with them for a mobile contract. After three days annual leave waiting for a BT engineer still no broadband. Six weeks in and tired of being without service I cancelled and was told to collect my deposit from the shop. The shop manager looked like I just asked him for a loan. So no deposit and no service I decided to go with Sky expecting to get the same BT situation but was I wrong. They had it installed and working within two weeks. I got tired of all the progress text messages but hey! Go to Sky or Virgin! These guys are armatures! Will never waste my time time dealing EE again. And guess where U will get my next mobile contract from? Yes, not EE! -

Today I have renew my fibre with EE, as it was very good service for last year or so. I have looked at other providers, some looks cheaper, but managed to get discount from EE. Price is very similar to other now and don't have to go through change over - with fibre some of them want to send engineer (my mate waited 3 weeks with switch-over to SSE).
In general very good, constant speed, great router - never had a problem. Renewal was done very efficiently. -

Slow speeds even on fibre. Cut out frequently for no reason. Once cut out for days and getting customer services to help was more painful than pulling my one teeth. Rude customer service who can never help. Hidden charges upon leaving despite being out of contract. Just awful. -

Worst company I've every dealt with. I signed a 1-year broadband contract in September but didn't get internet until November. I kept calling and they would say "within the next 2 weeks." Then reliability was spotty all year: several times a week we would have hours of unexplained 90-100% packet loss to most addresses. And now that 1 year is up I have to pay a £40 "early termination fee" because it took so long to activate the year before. Despite multiple complaints, the customer service reps do nothing to remedy this. Do not go with EE! -

I have a problem with the land line not working for a week, after calling and calling for help to EE, the sixth operator, said "Mi number and my name is not registered on their system" so I'm still without phone, and without technical assistance, but I'm registered to pay every month. Looks funny, but it's sad and shame, what they done to me. -

Speed is slow. Drop off in the evening regularly after 11pm, and also during the day time. Spoke to the customer service last time was not satsified. Just rang them again, be told to hold on the line was cut off automatically. Thinking to change a supplier. -

awful. we bought it to use with a new smart tv and even with the cable going to the tv it wont work for more than 10 minutes. wifi will work 50% of the time and to top it off we were promised a free gift when we joined up which we have never received. would not recommend. -

Requested move to new address weeks ago. Telephone is working fine but no broadband. I have spent countless hours on hold to ee customer service who will transfer me on average 5 times a call, hang up on my calls routinely and never return calls After promising to do so. Extremely rude customer service. I am still paying for the broadband but have no idea when I will get the service. For some reason no one at ee can tell me what the problem is or when it might get fixed. Waste of money, waste of time. Infuriating! Time to switch I think -

Today it is 18.09.15 and I still have no broadband, phone or EETV. I was told I would have wifi today, and this morning I received a text to say it will be switched on at 23.59! I am also supposed to have EETV..... No one has contacted me still about even delivering the box to me!!! I signed up for this 5 weeks ago and I still don't have it. I have written to cancel and will be calling around in my lunch break to find someone better than these cowboys!!!
