BT had become too expensive; have them the chance to sharpen their pencil. BT offered EE as a better priced alternative (since learnt that BT will soon exit this market and be replaced by EE). New service live 4th April. 2 decent days. Rubbish ever since. EE arranged for an engineer to show 8/4 am. Sat in all morning (then all day). No show. Unable to tell me why no show or when they will arrive. Omni shambles -

Shittest wifi ever. Having to re-set it every 10 minute. Can’t get through a 5 minute video without having to turn wifi on and off to get through a minute of it to do the same. I’m surprised with this as I’ve been a loyal customer for years through mobile with no problems with that, but for the wifi to be shit. Don’t invest -

I have never been through such a vile experience as I have with EE broadband. Firstly they enroll you onto a 24 month package when you move home without knowing it. Secondly the internet did not work what so ever at the property. It keeps dropping in and out constantly, any hope of doing work from home is futile. Then after months of the persistent issues and showing them evidence of the drop outs they can not do anything. So naturally I opted out to leave for another provider, but they obviously won't release me of the contract without a crazy termination fee. (Forget about their 'policy' if the broadband doesn't work, you can cancel your contract for free). It was months of me on the phone to them, to the point I had to pay for an extra broadband service to work from home. They do not help you what so ever. Forget about trying the ombudsam service, they are paid by the internet companies, and will always side with them even when you have heaps of evidence. A word of warning to anyone considering EE. DON'T. IT HAS BEEN HELL. Started in February last year and is still going on now. -

Poor really poor left for a reason, wanted to be polite, but after 6 months of buffering paying £50 for a service they could have given to a customer who showed loyalty £21, errm me thinks no and let's get this out there service charges should not be happening, charging your customers for leaving come on ee your bigger than this or are you, are you that desperate for your customers to stay, maybe don't spend all your money on stupid adverts and focus on customers -

The customer service is tricky as only needed them once and was when my contact ended and price increased and they sorted that straight away with a new contact and adjusted my next bill with a reduction for the one month increase too.
Speed is always top end or sometimes higher than the estimate and it hardly ever disconnects. Stream in 4k all the time without issue.
Been with a few providers over the years including talk talk, sky, BT & virgin (avoid virgin at all costs!) and this is better than any of them. -

Do not use EE. OVERCHARGING deceiving. Full of terms on conditions for their own favor and benefit. They its UK leading broadband but is full of lies. Choose any other and you will be better off than having EE -

Expensive and overpriced from the start, £64 for 50gb a month mobile broadband. Device they supplied failed within a year. They accused me of having got it from a third part, and then admitted device they supplied wasn't properly supported by their network. Mis-sold, lied to, and then falsely accused. Disgusting service, and will never use them again -

Speed randomly drops to zero, especially in evenings. Every time you call the customer service, they say that everything is fine. They know their service is scrap so of course there is nothing else they can do. Would not recommend -

Been with EE for 3 years, finally took the plunge and I’m moving on to a different provider, after my contract ended I started getting charged £41 a month just for internets. I have the same issues as others with internet dropping out various times a day, sometimes having to reboot the router just to access the internet. Very slow connections in the early morning and late evening, I would avoid if you need fast internet or reliable internet. Only positive experience I have with EE is their customer service is always friendly and helpful. -

Stuck in a 2 year contract... slowly coming to an end :)
Worst broadband service we've ever had.
First of all in our area you can barely get a stable 25-30MB/s connection. Second, is not at all reliable with random disconnections and router restarts throughout the day. Having to pay just over £30 for this is disgusting when we know as soon as Virgin is gonna be on the street the price is gonna drop massively due to competition. So, Monopoly at it's best. Virgin does stable 50MB/s down the road for just £21 a month.
I cannot wait the moment when I'm gonna ditch EE for something better, fairer and cheaper. -

They extend my contract without my permission. And now they try to charge me for leaving them. Also there are constant problems with connection to the internet, especially in evnings. If you gamer or work from home I strongly recomend you to stay away from this crap.
Btw. 1 star is too much for them -

Very inconsistent at the best of times, wifi always drops throughout the day repeatedly and for long periods looking at other reviews other people have had similar experiences which proves this internet provider is awful if you’re looking to go to EE please avoid, would rather stick with Sky with a more expensive bill that actually was somewhat reliable. After having EE for the first month it wouldn't work at all thanks to their awful attempts at setting it up then making my family wait a ridiculous amount of time just to use it (around 3 weeks) there have been many internet providers i’ve used but EE has gotta be one of the worst!
