I would have given this less stars had that been possible. The connection stutters there is constant drop outs. It's completely ridiculous that they get away with this. We have called numerous times and nothing ever changed. We want to get out of the contract and change to some other provider but are being told that we would have to buy our way out of the service even though the service we pay for never worked properly. Avoid at all cost. -

Constantly got over charged. Broadband Speed is awful. Customer service is okay. And finally not only did I have to call EVERY month with a service/ Bill problem I also got disconnected every month too.
Not worth it. -

Amazingly slow, way below what EE advertise as the average rate. Makes all sorts of stuff very time wasting and complicated.
I would have signed up with Virgin but the said they couldn't accommodate me at this address -

DO NOT USE EE. I changed to EE in order to reduce my monthly bill. Was paying £38 with BT and £19 with EE. Within 2 days of being with EE we were still suffering with painfully slow broadband speeds. I called them, ran tests (which always showed a healthy speed), and I was told it takes some time for them to calibrate the line?? Clearly, that's b*ll*cks. The lines are identical, the only difference is the router and how they control your data flow. Fortunately for me I am within the 14 day trial period so changing back is relatively easy. The moral of the story? You get what you pay for. If you don't mind slow broadband and want a lower fee, use EE. If you want faster broadband, use someone else. -

Quite literally the worst provider I've ever experienced. Continually drops from the most horrific 'traffic management' (or throttling to me and you). Abysmal customer service - after 9 months of issues, constant complaints and engineers (one of which they charged me for without warning, despite the issue being on their end) I have finally been allowed to terminate the contract early.
There is no reason on earth why you SHOULD go with this farcical brand. Save yourself a great deal of trouble - buy somewhere else. -

Well how do I start? I have been with EE for 12 years and had always received 2.4Mb down broadband with a sync speed of between 3 and 3.4mb for all this time until 8th august 2016 when my internet folded. I contacted them and they said they would check the line from there end after about 15 minutes they stated the line is fine, I then told them 0.47mb is not the correct speed for my line and there is a fault it took me 8 more weeks for the customer service reps to believe me that something was wrong and an engineer was sent out the engineer stated nothing was wrong and that 1.9mb sync was fine for my line even though I have screen shots showing having previously been receiving a 3.4mb sync speed. The engineer went and I had constant disconnections for about two weeks. Another engineer was called and this time he changed my drop wire from the pole to house and still it keeps disconnecting. and to this date has not been fixed and the excuse from EE is its within the allowed range. So you can have 2.4mb broadband for 10 years but when it drops to 1.4mb this is fine when clearly there is still a fault but openreach will not fix it. So my only alternative is to explore mobile broadband as my cable is to long to even get fibre. -

Moved from sky, they sent an engineer to connect a new line which I didn't need. They changed my phone number, even after I requested to keep the old one. They took 5 weeeks to send me e router, after lying to me that it had been delivered to the wrong address and then that the second attempt had been returned. The manager dealing with my case said she would stay on it and update me every few days until the resolution, she called me back twice then I never heard from her again. My speed was 6.5-7 Mbps for 3 months then dropped to 0.3-0.5 Mbps and when I enquirer they said the line showed 8.5 Mbps although the BT Speed test only showed 2.3 Mbps. I have ego monitor the signal and use an Ethernet cable to try to boost the speed....... I Want Wifi You Numbskull! oh almost forgot they promised me 3 refunds and gave me the wrong amount ( roughly 33% of what was agreed) I am contacting The ombudsman to assess my case for an early cancellation of this deplorable excuse for a service...... I highly Recommend You Avoid This Company For Your Lack Of Broadband!!!
Worse than my old dial up service from 17 years ago...... -

Without a doubt one of the worst broadband providers I have ever used.
While the staff are very polite, they seem to have little to no training on actually resolving or understanding issues.
My broadband went down and it took me a week of chasing them up on the phone to actually get an engineer out. It is very frustrating constantly being told that something will be resolved in 48 hours, to not have anything done.
Cannot keep to their own timeframes and would not provide data on my phone to help me manage. I work from home and it left me out of pocket.
I will be cancelling my broadband and my mobile phones with EE asap. -

Service activated on a new line in September, initially speed was good, around 3.5mbps as I am far from exchange and cannot get Fibre. Then line speed dropped to 200kbps d/s and 440bps u/s, line was faulty, then fixed, but still faulty then fixed and still faulty, eventually got the service back up between xmas 2016 and the new year, initial speed was good (3.9mbps) but now dropped to 1.14(u)/0.440(d) mbps, nothing I can do to increase speed, to compare I have another line with another provider and steady sync at almost 5mbps d/s and 1mbps u/s. EE = toataaaaal R U B B I S H. But hey. BB only costs me £1.00 so I guess it's £1 per mbps then. Looking to break my contract as I have means of comparison and service is DIRE, customer service is a little better though, I complained and was led to a Lovely lady from "Executive Customer Relations" which is trying her best to help. -

I would give them Zero if I could. They are fake company. I made the formal complain many times.
Please avoid EE!!!!
They send automatic bills and also automatic new products even you do not know. Then automatic cancellation even you don't know anything. After then they will charge for early termination. They took money two times and I got back one time. The second time is still under processing. This is very strange system and I think they do intentionally.
Customers service both time they refused to pay and said it's my responsibility to review my account then I made the complaint to the manager. He resolved this issue. Yesterday again same thing happened and manager said it's system error.
Please avoid this company. If you already made any contact, keep safe your bank details and check email everyday. -

I am frustrated and felt cheated with the kind of service EE provides.
I moved house and broadband connection in the new house is couple of weeks away. So I went to EE to get a monthly broadband and told them I need it for a 2 weeks only. The minimum plan they had was for 1 month which I opted for and told them I don;'t need this to be active beyond 1 month.
The sales representative told me that I can call customer care to cancel my connection post my first payment is deducted, which would be after 14 days of my connection activation. I did the same thing but now the customer care is saying I have to pay for another month as they would need atleast 30 days notice as per T&Cs. Also they have a cancellation fees of 8.99.
All these were not mentioned to me by their sales representation when I went to discuss the option in the store. I mean who reads 4 pager T&Cs in the store before signing the document. It should be the sales representative's responsibilty to make customer aware of cancellation process and fees, which clearly wasn't done in this case.
Please avoid them as they are bunch of cheaters sitting their and making fool of customers. -

After moving home i gave ee plenty of notice. Of course my home package didnt go ahead as planned. Ee then confirmed itvgo live a week later. It is now 3 months and still no broadband services. Ee admit they have made a mess of my home and said 4 times they would recorder my line, all they seem to is lie. They have continued to bill £27 a month for a service which was only ever £19 a month. It appears there sales office are fraudulenty placing orders then cancelling them in my name. I have now recieved for cancellation emails and given two phone numbers i never requested. I have simply said to ee i want my old number etc ee then sent me a letter stating they would compensate me once resolved. Surprise surprise ee wont resovle and sent me a deadlock letter in which the onbudsmam told them to rectify my issues and compensate me. Again ee nothing except charge after charge . I think ive spoken 150 different people at ee and seems you go round in circles with typical staff sounding like a training manual. All i want is ee to put their mistakes right and rectify. It was superb until i moved home. Customer service dont know what there doing. Its lie after lie with this company. -

I have lived at my property for 4 years and this is by far the worse broadband provider ever, I've had to call their technical team several times, and it's never straight forward each time I'm spending between 30 minutes to over an hour. Today for instance, I called earlier this morning and now am calling them again, because the original fault was never fixed. They are using cheap technology and bandwith is crap. Worse still - they recently increased the fee. Will not be returning to them again. -

worst broadband ever! i dont feel like im in a first world country with this internet speed!!!! the connection gets lost all the time!
Comments:
I acknowledge now have quite a lot of devices attched, but I regret moving from Sky, apart from the price.
You get what you pay for.
Bandwidth is being throttled quite significantly.
Calls to EE customer service ended up with the impractical solution being to take devices off and then did not want to know, when I could benefit from an upgraded router.
Overall, unsatisfied.
