This company has caused nothing but headaches since getting their broadband service. I finally decided to switch providers but even after receiving confirmation of cancellation back in May, I was still being charged. I then had to inform my bank that payment should not be sent to this company. After speaking to 5 different customer service representatives telling me that all has been rectified, this morning I get a call from billing trying to know why I haven't paid! Mind you, I've been with another company for several months, getting excellent service that doesn't drop every hour and I still have to deal with a garbage company like EE. After speaking with the EE representative again, a few minutes later I get a text from my current company stating that my service has been cancelled as requested. I was informed by that company that a service provider has seized my service with then in order to take over my account!!!! When I contacted EE they claimed that they didn't do it. I find it really suspicious that shortly after speaking with an EE representative, my current company's service is seized by EE! What evil people! Now I have to wait two weeks for my service to be reinstated by my current company who by the way has been doing an excellent job as my service provider. If EE thinks I will deal with them again, I will never. I hope everyone sees this review. Tell your friends and family not to deal with this dishonest and sneaky company. Evil people! When I was with EE, they provided horrible service and were dishonest in their dealing even after I cancelled my account with them. I hope never to deal with this again. -

We are supposed to be getting a speed of around 3.5mbps. This implies a download speed of 350kbps. However, in practice speeds can drop to as low as 0.20 mbps or even 0.08mbps. EE's connection seems unstable with the Crayford phone exchange as compared to BT and other providers. None of my neighbours have this issue. That is almost as slow as the 56k dialup connection before broadband ever existed.
This is a message to EE. Please contact me immediately and sort this out and I will delete my review. -

DONT waste your time or money on ee Ive had nothing but problems with them, ive been on the phone approx. 50-60 times in 3 months the customer service is the worst company I have ever known they don't know what there doing and don't make notes when you phone back they've taken over £300 for line rental and then tried to take another £297 which I got stopped. so eventually I got the phone line and broadband cancelled but within 10 minutes phone line was cut off and all the money ive paid upfront over £300 I have lost. I would never recommend this company please AVOID -

Home move package failed 1 months with no service and then provided with 2 incorrect usernames .now 2 moths and finally got the right user name
The broadband is unuable. Cant stream cant back my ipad even. It is the worst ever.
Ee are a disgrace refusing to compensate. They then offered me 4 mths free then deny it. They also expect me to pay fro a service we cant use. I have never known such a shambolic company in life. They do not respect their customers but continue u to pay for a broadband service that is useless. I am at my wits with there disgusting service.
The connection drops and my pc which took 43 mins to back up is not saying 38 hours to back up. Ee do something about your utterly shocking customer service. It is the pits. -

EE customer support is not poor - it is non-existent. Today I receved a Seasonal mailing which I cannot read due to eyesight problems due to AAF service ijuries. But also the dopey faint typeface EE used. I gave up trying to get a new router to work after the first one was hacked. I will not again hang on for five hours plus on a faint line tio India ir wherever, to be told tht "We have tested line ane theere is fault o houre wiring" Like Hell there was.
EE's contact set up is designed to ensure that senior staff are never bothered by unwashed customers. I speak as a former Customer Ciplaints man for BT in London - ALWAYS available to talk to customers.
The great plus with EE is unmetered telephone calls which makes tremendou sense - other providers are still chfrging as if all the calls were connected in stages by telephone operators and metered accordingly. So much better to have gthousands of billing staff ands ihtemised charging!!!

I have finally managed to change my home phone and broadband provider from AOL-Talk Talk to EE after a frustrating, protracted period of a couple of months trying to port my original phone number to EE.
I have literally spent hours on the phone to both Talk Talk and EE's customer services, eventually discovering that the source of the problem lay with Openreach who incorrect address details for our land line.
However, through all the frustration of the last couple of months one thing has been clear, EE's customer services have been excellent and streets ahead of Talk Talk or any other customer services that I gave ever dealt with! They all worked really hard and devoted a lot of time to understand the problem and then did everything they could to resolve it, providing a very personal service from a named customer services rep. with additional phone calls and emails to ensure that things were going as they should or to explain why there had been a delay.
Unfortunately, at the final hurdle, our service changed to EE but with a new phone number - totally against our wishes. After complaining very strongly to customer services and being told that it may not be possible to retrieve the old number and if it was possible it may have taken 8 days to do so, Sharon at customer services pulled out all the stops and phoned me back the following day on our original number, having liaised with Openreach to resolve the problem much more quickly than would normally have been possible.
All of the customer services staff that I dealt with were very understanding, empathetic and genuinely interested in resolving the problems I was having - in complete contrast to Talk Talk. -

Moved houses. Called them up. They said 10 days. However, I kept waiting around and being passed around for 2 months among people who had absolutely no clue what they were doing. Multiple times I was told I would get a call back - didn't happen. When I finally had enough - at the time of writing this review - they said I couldn't cancel because [insert badly explained nonsense]. I have never in my life seen a company treat a customer like this. -

I was promised many benefits if i were to switch over too EE. I mainly changed for their apparently 'amazing internet' EE quoted their fibre broadband would give me a download speed of up to 38mb/s but after i joined, made the payments and got the box, set it up by this time the 14 day cancellation was up. So the first thing i done was check my download speed. I only get a mere 4.2mb/s and the internet cuts out a lot I can barely use the wifi on my phone anymore.
JUST AVOID EE AT ALL COST, VIRGIN and even SKY do better deals.. wish i went with virgin -

Shame there is no 0 star option. This company is the worste out there. Our 12 month sentence is almost up, can't wait to change to Plus Net for a realiable and consistanct connection.
I would strongly recommend staying away from this company, just like everyone else seems to.
Wish i had checked around befor buying. -

DO NOT EVEN IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS
consider a switch to or use EE Fibre Broadband.
We had so many problems - customer services incredibly hard to reach.
Little or no cistomer service. Out BB was out from home office for around 10 days.
It was incredibly time consuming and stressful and no consideration or compensation from the company.
BT is the best way if you want reliability.

The many reviewers on here who've given EE zero ratings have it spot on. Useless customer service, don't touch this company with a barge pole. I've had to work hard to get rid of them and will never use them again. -

EE means Endless Errors
Download speed 4.75 if we are lucky
Upload speed 0.00
Customer service 35-45 minutes to answer phone if your lucky
Run through the same tests every time we call them about crap wifi
They tell you they will call you next day they dont instead they text you with a fault complaint reference number
Steer clear as useless as a choclate teapot
Thought sky was bad but this bunch just aint cutting it
Comments:
EE webpage states speed up to 17mbps on the basic package which is suitable for a small households with 2/3 appliances. This matched my requirements and I paid for 18 months upfront. It's only when you get the acceptance email that there is a clause stating the minimum speed will be 1mbps. My current speed is 1.40mbps.
I don't know what broadband speeds I've had over the past 6 years with different providers. I've always taken the cheapest, basic option and not had any problems. So I've never checked.
EE state that as they are providing a speed of just over 1mbps they are fulfilling their contact. I can't cancel the contract. I have been offered fibre optic at additional cost.
Following yet another 2.5 hour phone call today ending with a conversation with an obnoxious Manager I'm a very disgruntled customer. If Sky could provide an adequate service using the BT line (which has now been renewed and replaced) why can't EE provide the same?
