EE customer service is just awful. In 2014, without notice, they shut down my broadband and phone account. It was Christmas Eve, which was nice of them! They claimed I had submitted documentation for a move to another ISP - documentation which they could never produce. It took six weeks and goodness knows how many mobile phone calls to get reconnected and, this also initiated a new contract so stuck with them for a while longer. In 2017 they shut down my Freeserve email account of over 20 years. Still feeling the effects of that seven months later: it's like moving house and you need to notify everyone who has ever written to you of your new address!! Anyway, the contract is up and I'm changing to a new ISP. Farewell EE and good riddance! -

What an absolute joke. Paying for EE Fibre Plus and the internet connection is disgustingly poor. Do not try and play any online multiplayer games with EEs internet, it'll disappoint you consistently. The pathetic 3mb/s download speed COULD be forgiven, but as I've said, I am let down daily by the poor connection, and I can't even watch a video in 1080p. -

I have the highest fibre optic speed and am very impressed with the service I have received from EE. My family all have virgin high speed broadband and it is no way as good as EE, I have recommended EE to all my friends and family. -

Whilst the call centre staff are always pleasant and helpful the underlying product is a complete waste of time. Connection drops regularly and speeds are a joke, just barely above the minimum where the contract would be in default (and then only because of a technicality where they measure to your home but not what you can actually access) I will never use their service again and would urge people to never fall into the trap of using their service no matter how good a deal it seems you are getting. Also after 3 cube engineers and 3 open reach engineers I have yet to have one turn up with any notes on my problems in spite of laboriously explaining them all in detail multiple times. -

well for at the start it was alright. A bit slow but it was functional. But now it is a piece of plastic junk in my living room. It has crashed frequently in use and is super slow. Worst internet i have ever used. -

I find it an awful shame that people only come on to write neagative reviews. I on the other hand am very very happy with EE broadband. I was speaking to a girl called Jessica from the fibre team in Hull. She called and i was a little unsure at first, if it was actually EE but Jessica assured me no harm was to happen with the very little information i had given. I left the call feeling like i had a very good experience and walking away with a much better broadband service. (The one i had was fine, but like anything always room for improvement). One of the problems i have is that alot of customers i hear, complain about loyalty and broadband services... doesnt it run down the same line as other providers? And where is the loyalty for customers that switch contracta every year because they have a better deal elsewhere. I just wanted to say Thankyou to EE broadband. Never had any issues and it was nice to see aomeone notice my loyalty and am now paying less than what new customers are. Which is how it should be done. -

As an EE mobile customer, I couldn’t fault them one bit. Seemed like I was onto a good deal with their broadband because of being a Mobile customer, Turns our I was massively mistaken! I live alone so I am the only person online most of the time, yet struggle to hit 14mb/s download speed. I usually play Xbox online, and the internet is so unreliable that I struggle big time. On top of it all, my router decides, as and when it likes, that it’s going to reboot itself. No reason or warning. Definitely won’t be renewing my contract with them, and would never recommend anyone else get their broadband either. -

Just had to query excessive charges on my bill (due to being over my monthly call usage) and I was really impressed with the customer service - couldn't fault it. Very efficient UK call centre, helpful and pro-active staff... I was all set to leave EE but ended up happily signing up to a new contract thanks to the way they handled my enquiry. -

They said they will give us free add on credits for the time being while waiting but they didnt. They’re all piece of lying bastartrds -

ABSOLUTE JOKE!!
I have waited over a month for wifi and it's still not working.had 3 different routers sent out and 2 engineers! They have taken money out of my account even though it's not working and I have waited in all day today for another engineer who called me to say he will have to come back another day! Absolutely disgusting service! Do not get broadband with them!! -

Been with EE Since their broadband started off with orange. Standard broadband was fine for first year and a half then issues arrose from what was only diagnosed as "a shine on the line from outside environment " after putting up with no use of Wi-Fi, broadband dropping in and out every couple minutes we had enough of paying for something we can't use and using all our mobile data up, we called EE again and released from contract with no charges No hassle, no issues with leaving, apologised and very helpful.
I find that now the EE customer service is back in UK & IRE problems get sorted where as before with the overseas call centres, calls were put on hold for over 30 minutes (in hope u would hang up) promises of call backs that never happened and resoloution to your complaint didn't even exist. Now it gets sorted. That I'm pleased with that we get stuff sorted. -

I've been a loyal customer of EE on mobile phone for I can't even remember how many years as it used to be part of a double contract without any problems.
But the Broadband is just stress as I was told £200 if I wanted to pay that upfront and then it would be a couple of pound a month for the next 18 months and I would get the 1st month bill then pay up the £200 which in thought that's strange but I thought ok.
Well installation that was just pure hell from the start with and now on to 2nd bill I've paid nearly £60 on 1st bill and now trying to charge me £21 a month and now I've ? it they're saying it's £300 and then a couple of pound a month if that was the case I would of gone to Virgin and got it off them.
It's now in dispute and I'll put a update when I get a reaction or resolution from them.
I've also seen other people say exactly the same thing as what I've put up so I would like to wish everyone else luck that needs it also.
Many Thanks. -

Just appalling, I have 38 meg fibre and it is frequently slower than sky 17 meg broadband. Numerous engineer visits,
Always blaming open reach, open reach are adamant there is no fault on the line and I know the engineer. Despite being hard to prove, but after extensive google diagnostics, they have to be traffic shaping. Shocking -
