AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL. Do not use this company, broadband is awful connection drops out all the time. Customer services are utterly useless and just for you off with rubbish. I was even told the problem is with my laptop!!!!! When you do get a connection it is appallingly slow, worse than dial up. Plus you pay a fortune to ring them and have to wait ages to get through. Pay more and go with a company that actually cares!! -

An Absolute no go company. I had experienced Talk Talk before and thought it was the worst Internet company ever, until I signed up to EE. Their customer service doesn't exist and the help line I actuallys bogus! Last call lasted 1 hour and 13 minutes, no reply. After a moltitude of others before, I left the phone on the line on loudspeaker for over 2 Hours on a separate occasion, got a reply from a representative asking me what was wrong, before putting the phone down on me. Deleted my account and got debited for it anyway. The case has now been sent to the ombudsmen. -

Not even worth one star.
EE has to be my worst experience ever as a subscriber to a broadband service. My connection fluctuates from 0.11 ?Mbs up to just under 17 Mbs. The upper speed would be great if it were consistent enough to actually use.
I believe it is over subscribed and the contention ratios are too high. EE come up with every excuse under the sun but incredibly it's NEVER there fault. I would have a degree of respect for them if they could just admit it. I was going to switch my mobiles to EE but frankly they are the last company I will use now. IF I can find a legal way out of my contract it's exactly what I will be doing. If I can't then I will default and see them in court. PLEASE save yourself AVOID , WET STRING WOULD WORK BETTER -

Absolutely hopeless customer service. I'm currently waiting for 24 minutes on hold waiting for so-called Customer Service to get back to me. I've been waiting over a month for connection, and still no news. AVOID. -

I left Talk talk roughly 2 months ago to EE with the promise things will be better, but that was mistake, the internet is slow and disconnect it very often, the land-line is not clear, the customer service takes long to get them ,and once you contact technical department , they do their routine stuff that doesn't help that much. leaving them will make you pay 100 pounds for breaking contract. I would never recommend to anyone. Awful service. -

The router supplied by EE was defective. I don't know if this is a widespread problem affecting the Brightbox 1 but, in our situation, it made internet browsing completely impossible - 5 to 10 second waits for a webpage to load; latency and ping readings through the roof. The connection itself is alright: we swapped out the router for a spare we had lying around and the speed was as it should be. If we hadn't been able to do this, though, we'd have had to put up with a shockingly slow internet experience for 12 months, as the staff at EE's call centre are hopelessly bad. We tried getting them to diagnose and replace the router but they were next to useless, so in the end we binned the EE router and stuck with our own. -

Please, Please, Please do yourself a favour and do not go near this company!
It's a shame that the review wont except 0 stars as a score. I had the misfortune to sign up with them after seeing a deal which looked to good to be true, it turned out the deal was for real but after 6 weeks and no broadband they should have paying me! The customer service was nothing short of appalling, call centre staff just transferring my call between departments without even telling me because they obviously didn't want to deal with my problem until I asked to cancel and then I got put to someone who was very helpful and actually agreed with me that their service was rubbish! Even though I was well over the free cancellation period the staff member waved all charges and agreed to give me a full refund, which finally raised my estimation of EE until a week later I received a bill for cancellation plus a full years line rental (which I had already paid)so instead of getting back £142 from them they were after a further £196. -

appalling, non existent service, my line is not active again 3rd time though they issued the initial bill, and says line active when clearly is not, over an hour waiting on the cue to speak to someone that won't be able to help again just deflect! -

Swooped from EE to BT in July 2014. Still continued to bill me Complained in November and got refund, billed me again in December . As I had cancelled my DD to make sure no more payments were taken, they couldn't claim the money so now threatened with late payment fee... Let them try!!! -

Terrible. Cannot work, cannot stream video, cannot reliably upload files. It's back to dial-up days for speed. £125 voucher with Amazon for switching, but I think I'm going to have to pay my way out of this one... -

Annoyed that I HAVE to give 1 star. Their service is abysmal, they suspended my internet service due to their own error. It was like talking to a wall when speaking with them. I can not stress enough to anyone reading this, do not sign up to EE! -

I transferred to EE Broadband as they where promising good service and minimum speed 7mb. First they sent engineer round as they said they needed to put a new line in as they could not find any record of a line at my property. BT engineer came round and installed EE router but after he left it stopped working so along comes another engineer a week later. Then we start getting a service of about 1mb so rang and complained. EE informed me this is normal as the router need to learn my line capabilities which takes 10 days and they are unable to do any thing until this time had passed but assured me my speed would be 7 to 11mb. Ten long days passed and now had increased to 4mb so called and was informed that this is the maximum speed my line to do so I lodged a miss-selling complaint, I was informed this too would take ten day so once again I wait 11 days later still no phone call, I contacted them and was informed that they are still investigating as they had not received the phone logs but would get back to me by the end of the week. The end of the week came but still no contact from EE so I rang again this time spent over an hour on the phone and spoke to 6 different people one of which said that maybe if I'm not happy with the speed I should upgrade to fibre. I politely informed him no I just want what I was promised. I then said that they are breaking there T&C and that I wish to cancel service so they transfer me to retention team. After explaining the situation with them they informed me that I would have to pay £115 to terminate contract, can you believe this. So what ever you do DONT SIGN UP WITH EE BROADBAND -

I must be very lucky after reading all the negative reviews on this website. After signing up for broadband with EE, it took them a week to send me confirmation of when my broadband will go live. Router arrived shortly after, and the internet was up and running on the day they promised it would go up on. Speed is amazing around 16mb for the standard package. -

Do not under any circumstances get broadband with EE.
It has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. They have left us without any service for two months. The order has been ''cancelled' twice without my knowledge.
Customer service is hit and miss. More often than not you will get someone who has no idea what is going on, the others will make you promises the company can not keep.
Avoid please, do yourself a favour and go with anyone else. -

Would give ZERO star if this was possible.
I never write reviews but I felt like I needed to write one for this specific case. Back up from EE, far, very far away. Worse customer experience so far. Incompetent people, never answer phone calls regarding billing issues. Still waiting for a refund (average waiting time for phone calls is 47min). -
