I get download speeds of 1.6mbs and upload speeds of 0.83mbs, this is horrible and I am barely able to do any tasks like surf the web. -

Absolutely diabolical service.
Was informed it would be a seem less transition from BT to EE, that was not the case, they took over the phone line knocking out our current supplier on 21st Dec, then 5 days later the Internet should have worked, but the phone line went dead.
An engineer was sent out on 31st December. So not Internet connection for 10 days.
All sorted broadband and wifi up and running, so installed the TV box, well complete waste of time, the channels are constantly jumping, can't receive channels 1-5. Retuned it so many times it's driving me mad.
Cancelling service and going With Sky. They also had the nerve to email me e a payment was due, safe to say they had an irate call which resulted in them offering me a months free service, still being cancelled as diabolical connection that does not work. -

OMG - what a shambles. Dropping connections constantly. 1st and 2nd line tech support mind bogglingly rigid and clearly no-one has looked at the customer journey from the point of view of a person with normal tolerance levels. Hours on the phone helping support try and avoid sending an engineer. Eventual, predictable referral to second line support on a 'we'll call you back'. Never called back. Luckily I have nice neighbours who let me piggy back on their sky connection - which is lucky because I'd got rid of sky TV in favour of Amazon instant and other internet TV- but obviously that all depends on a competent, decent service. EE is not that at all. -

Slow connection speed, high delay and constant disconnects. Plus its an expensive 4G contract. Very close to the mast so not a radio issue. -

I have been with EE for nearly two years now after switching from extortionate BT prices and incredibly poor download speeds.
I can honestly say it is the best decision I could have made. My download speeds are triple what they used to be and the price is very reasonable for the package that I have.
I have only ever had to deal with customer service once when my line went dead for a week and the customer service team were a little bit useless in providing information on the matter. But the issue was eventually resolved and credit was added to my account to make up for my lack of access.
That situation was over a year ago now and I have had absolutely no problems since and would highly recommend them to anyone in my area. -

Wish I'd not switched to ee
broadband. The switch happened, the speed was ok at first, for approx 3 weeks, so too late for the cooling period to terminate contract, funny that?
Down load speed drops to almost zero, so in other words, not fit for purpose.
ee tech team cannot diagnose the cause, so after numerous re sets their end at least 6 or 7, they capitulate as I threaten to leave, they send out open reach engineer, he says its more likely their end equipment at thhe exchange. He goes away then speed drops within 3 days. I call tech team today and I'm told it's an internal fault with the property I liuve in, or in other words the wiring ( I'm not technical at all) ee use in brightbox uses thhe bt landline, and if your main bt phone line box is installed on same wall/ too close to the electrical wiring/fuse box circuit in the property, then the ee brightbox will be compromised on speeds signal thats coming down the landline.
sky doesnt use same system so it doesnt effect the sky broadband speed, just saying.
So tech support gave me 2 options 1st option upgrade to fibre broadband and pay 14.99 a month extraplus 17.40 landline with 18 month contract too or 2nd option to pay for an engineer to move the bt landline phone wiring main box into another room, or in other words pay to move the phone box as far away as possible from any electrical currents as possible.
So if you are ever tempted by a hard sales ee team member sweet talking you into saving a tenner a month, that you'll not experience any hassle or change in your services, don't do it for goodness sake
they want me to pay 109 pounds for the privilege of terminating this mis sold premise contract and that I can't move to another provider for 10 days after paying to leave?? Is this even legal?
ee has issues with their equipment in cases like these, but they never knew that getting into the home broadband market would show this up obviously, they should have stuck to mobile technology, its not always a good thing to diversify is it?
Also I'll be cancelling 3 ee mobile contracts after 10 years over their attitude, all for 100 quid

I'm writing this with my tail between my legs.
What a huge mistake I made. I left a perfectly good service with BT because of pricing and took up EE's offer.
It took 3 engineers to come out and when it was finally fixed my speed was nothing that was promised. I am now stuck for another 8 months in contract.
I will never EVER make this mistake again.
Word of advice, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
I am now crawling back to BT. -

My broadband was installed and ee thought it was acceptable for me to have speeds of. 0.5mbps the customer service department is unhelpful amd technical support dept is utterly useless. Avoid ee at all costs I've been allowed to end my contract without penalty
