I've had problems recently with my EE fibre broadband continuously dropping out. On the three occasions I have phoned their customer services it has taken ages to get through to anyone but then once I had spoken to the first customer service rep I was told I will be forwarded to their technical team and I've been put on hold for over 30 minutes - I was once on hold for nearly an hour when I was then cut off without warning because their customer service helpline shut at 10pm - I rang them at 8:45pm! My problem still remains unsolved. -

Changed our broadband and TV package over to EE today. Internet is fine but then I get a call saying nobody can get through on my landline. Only to find out after waiting for 25 minutes to speak to 'customer services' they've allocated us a temporary number. Without telling us. Disgraceful given that it's an emergency number for our elderly relatives. No wonder you can't get through to customer services!!!!!! A shame you can't review below one star! -

Well where to start, have had this internet for a long time and if it was an option to give no stars i would, absolutely terrible internet do not buy. every single day connection drops out like every 5 minutes and incredibly slow internet browsing, cant even watch a youtube video. every time we ring up they say its a problem with the line but nothing ever changes, they even sent a newer router which did absolutely fuck all. would honestly get better speeds from dial up do not give these people your money -

Where do I start. Having had my order cancelled by gremlins in the system I am left with no internet but a landline taken over by EE. It appears it's not their policy to notify customers of cancelled accounts but they are will for me to be lumbered with a random landline.
Complaint then escalated after having to renew an order only to get a call today from there executive dept to ask if my service is up and running. Muppets......they asked me what my complaint was and sounded confused that I was angry as I was expecting this call to be the answer to my complaint not for me to re raise a complaint.
Run by fools and I was more of a fool for thinking it was going to be the flawless transition sold to me. EE should not be allowed to sell their product. Customers should be treated far better.
Hence cancelled my order.....doubt it was even in the system again and returned to plusnet -

I have had EE broadband service for 9 months now. Since I joined I've experienced frequent disconnection and extremely slow internet connection. Customer service is not helpful as they make it seem as if it is your fault. I feel like I'm in 1999. I really cannot believe that Internet service can be this slow. I will not wait until my contract ends. I am switching! DO NOT PURCHASE EE's BROADBAND SERVICE!!! -

DO NOT PURCHASE A BROAD BAND PACKAGE from EE. There should be a health warning attached to this service. Its takes 40 mins to get through customer services and I contacted them on a few occasions, as the speed is shocking. If you want to watch a movie on line then you are going to have problems, welcome back to the early 90,s where broad band was slow as a snail and the customer services is even worst. -

Utter crap, do not use EE, I can never join invites on Xbox, I can never play games on my phone without lag, I need a booster connected to my Xbox for the Internet to even function. "Bacon don't like waiting" they say, seems legit. -

I had issues with speed initially so I called and expressed my concern and to be fair to EE they sorted it. So those that are having speed issues try getting in touch with them and ask them to sort it. -

Even if I manage to make one single person decide not to join EE then this review will be worth it.
The customer service is appalling; there is nobody competent who can answer your questions, no consistency and the waiting times are reminiscent of the 90's. I was put on hold on and off for over 40 minutes (listening to headache inducing music) for a single inquiry that EE didn't even help me with. Oh and did I mention how rude their technical support is? And if you complain and give them bad reviews in their own 'How did we do today' polls, then absolutely nothing happens.
EE wanted to charge me 230 pounds in cancellation fee because THEY could not provide me with decent reception in our new house. I was furious and after 2 weeks of waiting and shouting and stressing they cancelled my number without giving me a PAC code or compensation for the month I had paid for with zero reception. It is just horrific behavior from this useless company.
I cannot express with words how disgusting I find my EE experience and would never ever recommend them to anyone. Please stay away. Please.
EE: your days are numbered if you continue like this. Just read your own reviews on every site there is and stop robbing people. -

When I got with EE I was feeling really unsure about it after I looked at these reviews. I have now had it for 3 days now. I have the 38mb plan and it is great my top speed is 36mb download and 10mb uploads at busy times it is still good 30mb download. People talk about the router not giving a good signal but it is fine for myself. I live about 900 yards from the main connection point so that may help a bit but all round I cant say a bad word at the moment. All I will say is that when I joined I got an email saying my top speed would be 7mb witch is really not good and I was very unsure about it but that is what BT said. I happy that I went with EE and just make sure you can get a good speed before going with them. -

Worst broadband speed, customer service, complicated contract length ever seen in my life. Never sign up, you will regret. I was with them over six month and of course paid for nothing at all. Complete waste of time to call the customer service. Seems they volunteering, don't get paid for their time. Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish. -

yes i made the mistake of joining EE without checking their service review! what a major mistake, will never ever go close to any of their services.
I was with another service provider for 4 years, never rang them for any technical issues related to broadband, not even once in 4 years.
Switched to EE in nov/dec 2015, first month didnt notice much but i think that is where the catch is as they tell you that it take few weeks for the service to be become normal!!!! that is the time when you are out of your rights to leave the service!!!!
The internet is slow during the day, evening/nights. It connects to some sites at time and wont connect to others, total shamble from EE.
People running the service should be ashamed of themselves for such a service! never ever go close to this rip off massive big name under BT umbrella!

Recently switched to EE to save myself £7.50 a month for 12 months. Was really not worth it. The speed is awful and that's when you can actually access the internet. Save yourself the hassle and don't go anywhere near EE!! Just got to get out of the contract now and go back to my previous supplier! -

I can't say I've been impressed with EE Broadband at all, the broadband speed/reliability has been great their customer service is terrible! If you're joining them they're great, your best friends but if you have an issue they're far from helpful! I had to wait 3 months for my broadband to become active, then to find I wasn't reviewing fibre, YET I was paying for it, and even after phoning twice to correct it, it was only when I cancelled the TV service, which I'll be reviewing later they've finally reduced it, you get the occasional nice people but overall I'm not satisfied at all. Wish it could've been a better review but.....I can't say anything positive :(.
