Awful.
I'm trying to submit this review quickly before my connection drops.
I've been on an 18 month contract with EE-tv (which is woeful by the way). When ringing to get things fixed (which I've had to do many times) you mostly get someone in india with the inevitable communication issues that follow or someone in the Uk who's nice and friendly but doesn't get the problem sorted..
initially I was very happy with the broadband but over the last 2 months its got progressively worse and despite reporting this to EE its now virtually non existent, and I'm paying £40 per month!
Wont ever use EE again.
Coincidentally I'm also on an EE mobile contract which has got worse over the last few months as well. I used to get 4G at home now I hardly get anything at all.
This also reported but not rectified.
Really unhappy with EE generally.

Been with Orange/EE for over 10 years, you're all complaining about service and speed, well i don't think its EE that are causing your problems
When i moved to my house 10 years ago the speed was rubbish and kept dropping, we worked and worked on sorting the issue with support, it turns out there was bad cabling in my house and the phone lines outside (overhead) had degraded - was 40 years old.
Anyway i took care of the internal wiring, by disconnecting the whole lot and just had the router and a cordless phone plugged into the master socket.
Then EE arranged for Open Reach to run new cables from the telegraph pole all the way to me master socket
Since then i average 15.5 MB and about 800K up, which isn't bad for ADSL2, the phone line is crystal clear, my connection stays up for months at a time till i reboot the router.......
All of you dont knock your supplier, its more than likely an issue with cabling in your premises. -

I moved houses and my new address came with a broadband provided in my rent. As a result I called to cancel my EE broadband contract. I was told I need to give 2 weeks notice so I will be charged for a week of August as I called them too late. Instead I got charged for a whole month of August. I called and was told I will get a refund. First day of September I called to check whether the refund is going to be in my account soon. I was told it will be once, the new bill is produced. Instead, I was also billed for another month , I called again, I was advised to cancel my direct debit to avoid being charged. We are in October and I just received a bill for October and being told I need to pay a late payment fee as well due to cancelling my direct debit and failing to pay for September. I called them the fifth time today and was told my refund won't be happening until December. It's a joke if you ask me. Wouldn't recommend. -

I joined ee jan 2016.
My broadband was 4 days late being activated and customer service didt know why but I just hoped it was a one off.
Over the year they cancelled my direct debit payment 6 times so I refused to re add it.
My payment date was 1st of the month without notice they changed it to the 21st
No answers of why
Throughout the year my service cuts off for no reason still rubbish customer service.
Then this happens!! I couldt even watch a video! My download speed was 0.35 upload of 0.07!!!! With my contract promising min of 17.0! At all times.
Ee said it's my box at mistakes and they will get me one for today but no it's not here
NEVER SIGN UP TO EE AND REMEMBER IF A COMPANY FAILS TO PROVIDE THERE CONTRACT YOU CAN GET OUT -

Guys i had the same problem with my speed. I discovered that Router by EEBROADBAND doesn't work very well via wireless but via cable work very well. You need buy a router wireless extender then connect you Internet cable from EE Router to your new router wireless extender after that disconnect your Wireless from EE Router because now you gonna use your Router extender only, you don't need EE router any more. EE router is shit always dropping but with your new router extender is gonna be faster. -

The internet connection goes from 6.69 to 18.52 Mb without warning, that is when I do not loose connection. I have notified EE several time with this problem without getting a resolution to it. FYI they advertise up to 76Mb per second in my area!!! But the monthly charge remains the same... Of course -

THE worst broadband and phone line service I have ever come across and I am now stuck with them for a year. Firstly they have completely messed up moving my landline number across like a bunch of complete amateurs and now I have to wait up to 6 weeks for them to fix it because apparently there is nothing the supervisor at their Indian call centre can do. The broadband they provide if you can call it that is the worst slowest thing I have ever seen, it literally took me 3 attempts and about 5 minutes to load this WEBPAGE! Stay away from EE if you want an actual internet connection. -

Much slower speeds than we should be getting on our contract, an unreliable router/modem that requires constant attention to avoid network drop outs, and struggles to deliver a signal upstairs into the bedrooms. Upgrading to Virgin Fibre ASAP. -

BE WARNED A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! AVOID EE. Finally come to an end of a 12 month contract with EE and it has been the worst home broadband company I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Unable to use any device at anytime for the past 12 months and have spent hours/days going through the same test procedures with Indian call centre who on over a dozen occasions was promised call backs that never happened. I finally spoke to a UK call centre who couldn't have cared less. Thankfully I have unlimited tethering with Three mobile so I could work from home on a faster 3G signal than the broadband I was paying for. I was was with a company called Primus before with no problems. Poor beyond belief and unable to exit my contract unless I paid in full for the remaining term! AVOID -

If you want to sit for hours staring at things loading then this is ideal for you, however if you actually want to recieve a service your actually paying for like reliable broadband speeds then dont bother with EE and thats saying alot as ive been with talk talk previous and let me tell you they were 100x better at providing a good relatively fast speed. EE is so pittifully slow that ut would actually be faster to go down to the local library and use books to find the answet to anything you may need. 0/5!!!!!!
