EE broadband is absolutely rubbish. I only went with their broadband because I was renewing my phone contract at the time and they offered me a better deal if I went for their broadband. Worst mistake I could've made, I still have 1 year left in my contract and I'm better off using the 4G on my phone than connecting to my home broadband. EE customer service is absolutely useless and I would've give them the time of day. They messed up my phone contract, I've never been so frustrated on the phone until I spoke to them so I now refuse to ring up EE. It's a shame because their phone deals are good but I can't imagine myself staying with them due to such poor service. I cannot wait for my broadband contract to end so I go elsewhere. -

Worst customer service
Service does not work
Sent engineer to fix the problem but it was all due to the line exchange as I explained over the phone to the support team. It took the engineer over 4 days to make an appointmnent.
They now sending me a bill but we have so far never been able to use their broadband since it never worked. So what is this bill about? I called them and surprise! their computer is down at the moment.
Never again will I use EE !!!

We changed over to EE 3 months ago.
EE cut us off completely every evening around 9.pm. We have no internet until the next morning when we have to reboot our modem. An Open-Reach engineer set us up with a BT modem, which worked fine all weekend no cut off at 9pm. So even though these reports from Open Reach are going through to EE, they are totally ignoring the findings.
EE keep sending out engineers and then closing my case.
Open reach engineers have reports regarding this issue and EE are not doing anything about it.
I would also mention that Alana was allocated to my case last week and assured me she would ring me on Saturday, she still has not……………..
My complaint has been escalated and then closed, it seems EE have no intention of resolving this problem even though they have the reports, they are dismissing my case, hoping I will go away. I know there are lots of other people in this situation; we need to contact Advertising Standards Agency and Trading standards.
We are paying for a service that we are not receiving.
Our service from EE is not fit for purpose, so EE need to offer us a price reduction or free us from our contract.
If you get nowhere ask for a deadlock letter, I shall be doing this next.

I almost made the mistake of switching to this clueless provider who cannot even get their activation dates or order processing right. Thanks to EE I am now without broadband or phone service. When I contacted them their excuse of a customer service team leader did nothing but aggravate the situation further. I wish I had read their reviews before even thinking of joining them. I have complained to Ofcom and will not be touching these EE jokers with a 10 foot pole! -

This company is RUBBISH!
Was called before end of previous contract, offering decent sounding upgrade from bb to fibre
The seamless switch took 2 weeks, leaving me with no service. BT engineer was called out and fixed the issue externally. Imagine my surprise when ee took £195 from my bank account for the call out!!!
Service was sold as guaranteed 38mb, never achieve more than 20. When i questioned this with ee, they told me it is only 38 when you're using a cable connection, not wifi - funny how they forgot to mention that when they were selling me the product
Would definitely not renew with them, but am now stuck in a contract :-( -

Our EE broadband package started of great. We paid an upfront charge of £187 between 2, and our monthly bill was £1.85 a month for the next 12 months. Internet speed was good and there was generally no problems with our service.
When our cotract was 1 month from expiring, I got a call from a women from EE asking what our next step was, since our contract was due to end. I asked to keep the bills the same price if I agreed to continue using their service. All was fine.
The next year contract ended and I got no phone call, and my bills soared to £21.85 a month, then up to £28.45 a month. I called up to ask what was going on and the man on the phone said my contract had ended so they started charging me normal rate, which is of course a very uncompetitive monthly price.
Now ,the manb said EE do not call customers when contract ended, which of course was not true. This is EE's was of justifying charging customers very high monthly rates without notifying them.
I asked what deal I can get and they said the terms and conditions had changed and they only do 18 month contracts, to which I wasn't notified. They asked for a £300 up front cost so that my bills would go back to £2.85 a month.
I terminated my contract. And got charged another month for my troubles.
I can imagine there is many other providers that offer better services and better prices. -

Well, here's a fine too do. I have been with EE for two years and have been looking for a better deal, so I have been reading the reviews for various providers. My only conclusion is that I am amazed that ANYONE gets any broadband connection. All the reviews seem to be negative, so here is mine for EE; A bit of a rocky start, had a couple of weeks of non-fibre broadband at the start 'cos EE said they had fibre when they hadn't, but eventually .... all was good. Download & upload speed good, the very occasional reset of the router, no more than 2 or 3 times a year and after the initial hiccup I have only had to contact support once - nice lady, based in UK, spoke English, not tech and the problem was sorted by Outreach who found the council had been setting up new street lamps and had mucked up our broad band line, All sorted. Only reason I'm thinking of leaving EE is to get 78 Mbs at three quarters of the cost. -

Avoid like the bubonic plague. I opened two contracts out and internet is slow as slugs. Issue cannot be resolved by the internet so you have to call and speak to them. Intercut cuts off and slows down very annoying, tech team can't do much as well. Really don't know what to do feel like I've been scammed. Don let fall for the cheap price if you u get is a rubbish connection. -

When it connects the speed is ok but it constantly drops out, I was with EE a couple of years ago without any problems then I moved to Sky, again without any problems but since I've moved back to EE its been terrible, every 5 to 10 minutes I have to reconnect. Reconnecting itself can take a few minutes before it allows you to, the end of my contract cant come quick enough. -

Absolute con artists. Have had broadband for 5 months now and it never works. Have had 7 engineers out all of which "lose their notes" or just do nothing in general. And then I'm "accidentally" charged nearly 400 quids worth of engineer visits that I was promised I "wouldn't be charged for". And still no broadband. And they keep saying they'll refund my monthly costs but ONLY when the fault it fixed which by this rate is never. Have never had such shocking service. Leaving asap. -

Problem with the line, multiple calls and engineer visits, line constantly cutting out and stuttering not reliable, cuts streaming off locks apps up, game play hard latency problems, and all this could be fixed by not having fibre to my local green cabinet then an old fashioned copper wire to my house, pointless it's not fibre as a true connection, only to the area connection box then your on your own suckers. -

I got my act sorted when told that fsnet will be discontinued end of May and signed up to Gmail and sorted well in advance only to find orange / Ee continued the server until today which caused some problems this last month but today I have not been able to send or receieve emails and was told when I phoned 10am that by 6pm all should be fine. A busy day running a business with no email and now just finished 9.30pm and no one available to talk to. Nice some can finish early and leave behind faults and poor customer service until the next day. What do I do in the meantime unable to run my business...and where is my refund of months payment of poor service, if I treated my clients like this and just 'walked off' leaving problems on a very important change-over day, I wouldn't exist. I would have thought all working through the night to make sure the inconvenience caused to customer resolved.... -

Advisor cheated us! He said one price for me and partners phone contracts but at the end bill come much bigger with different prices. On contract advisor didnt write down prices. The last step when he put a receipt we didnt check it but there was all truth! Even for insurance he said its 8£ a month but at real its 12 £. And we can't prove it cuz all information is on receipt not contract. What should we do? I dont wanna pay that money monthly....im not ready for expensive bills! Its Lincolns store on 309 High street. Sales advisor who cheated us is Raymond! -

Replaced my Tescos with EE as it was cheaper. Sometimes the speed is good but for the most part the pages keep dropping out and you have to cancel the page and re load again which is particularly annoying on pages like banks where you've filled in your passwords and secure info. Am moving to Staffs soon and to be honest I would go back to BT as I never had an issue with broadband speed :) -

Have been with EE mobile for many years and had ups and downs with customer service however, this review is for broadband which I switched over to just a couple of weeks ago and, touch wood, so far it has proved to be a seamless transition from BT and speed and reliability are already improved. -

I have used EE for years, and the service has gone really down hill.
The broadband keeps dropping out but they won't fix it, or let me out of my contract.
Undoubtedly one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had.
I truely wish I hadn't used them, it's terrible.
Of the 32 employees I've spoken to in my 8 month hell, they all tell you different things. Completely amamteur.
