EE broadband is absolutely terrible. You won’t even get half of the average speed they state on their websites. Even when you complain about this all they do is ask you to reset you modem which doesn’t do anything. -

Connected with no Internet access multiple times per day, sometimes for up to 2 hours but apparently there is nothing wrong with it. Absolutely sick of EE. -

EE treat their loyal customers, who have been with them for decades, unfairly. They charge them way more then new customers.
Last time I upgraded my broadband into Fibre broadband after having lowest speed. I agreed to pay £27 monthly by direct debit.
It has improved for a short time and got even worse after that.
Moreover, I was charged £32 per months.
This month I found out that I was charged £41 with no notifications or whatsoever. Very disgusted by this!!!
Can’t wait to leave EE!!!!!! -

Don’t even bother using EE Broadband. Every time I try to use the internet, it will either just not work or it will work momentarily and suddenly crash. After speaking to customer service, they said that the problem would be solved. It worked fine for a few hours and then the problems only started to occur again. The broadband is also not worth the price as the speed of the packages they offer for the price they do is not a good deal; and I regret signing the contract. If I knew the broadband would offer so many issues, I wouldn’t have even considered EE as a potential option. -

Don't waste your time. The only good bit is customer service. At the start it was good but they don't seem to care about keeping you interested because the quality drops quick. -

4 stars because Toni at EE was genuinely trying to help. Unfortunately, her determination was not matched by the service. If the broadband connection lasts more than an hour, it must be while I'm asleep or not looking. Changing to another supplier and it really cannot happen soon enough. If you are thinking about moving to EE...don't -

WORST WIFI EVER!
Do not do it to yourself. Even when I am the ONLY person as home and I am RIGHT next to the router, it still does not work. -

Since we got this broadband I have at most had 5 mb/s. My parents are paying for a plan where we should at least have 20 mb/s. A few weeks ago before the lockdown in Edinburgh, a man came to try and fix it, he was nice but did nothing to improve our wifi. And just yesterday another man came (but couldn’t come into our house because of coronavirus) and did absolutely nothing to help. In fact my internet has slowed down even more, down to 0.4 mb/s. That is terrible!!! My parents for some reason don’t want to change broadband but this is the worst internet I’ve had in my life. As good as McDonalds wifi. -

Switching to EE broadband has been one of the worst decisions I have ever made. I have been a long-standing mobile customer so it seemed a 'no brainer' to switch, taking into account the advertised speeds and the addition of 5 Gb of data to my mobile account each month, which is great because you will chew through that in the first few days each month when you don't even bother trying to connect your mobile to the broadband when at home. The speeds are awful (getting well less than 1 Mbps consistently), it keeps dropping out and it doesn't each more than about 6-7 m from the router. Avoid like the plague. Just do not bother. -

Moved over last June to fibre due to poor internet speeds but staying with EE who were my provider. Initially received for a couple of months speeds of 28mb but this has slowly dwindled down to 23 to 25mb max and service can often be eratic. Not that happy but tied in for 18 months. -

This is an initial review as line has only gone live this morning.
I had a chat I store with very helpful member of staff. Signed up, I've had emails and texts informing me of progress and when equipment would turn up. Everything happened when I was advised it would be.
Switchover day the old router was flashing, just unplugged that and plugged EE one in. There is a handy plastic tab on the side you can remove with the password and other info on, such a good idea.
Had no problems at all while experience has been seemless. Speed is 2mbps slower but likely to increase to 28 where it was when it's settled.
I used Call Centre once to ask if I'd need to contact Vodafone, that call was answered quickly and I was told they'd handle everything and they have.
So far very happy. -

I am writing this as a balancing exercise, reviews are often biased towards negatives as those experiencing poor service feel the need to share their issues whereas those experiencing a quality service just take it for granted (the service is just as it should be) and make no comment.
My own personal experience of EE has been good speeds and very reliable.
Customer service though rarely used has been prompt and efficient.
A recent fault resulted in crackling on the phone and seriously reduced broadband speed.
This was correctly identified as a fault on the local loop and passed by EE to Openreach for a home visit.
It was resolved in a few days, the fault being located as a bad joint on the outside of the house where the underground service cable had been extended to continue to the master socket.
The only other issue I have had in my years with them was a loss of internet for 2 days, but that affected multiple ISPs across most of northern England and wasn't under their control. -

Absolutely disappointing and robbery, I did a transfer of my ee broadband since 03/01/2020 since then today is 20/02/2020 my hub keep rebooting and not working, it turns on for 1 and 2 hours and then stop working for 5 hours and more (no internet) I and my wife called several time to get somebody to fix the problem 3 times we didn’t got an engineer the 4th time we booked an engineer from 8 to 1 pm he came at 8am i was sleeping due after work I was so knackered i couldn’t hear the phone then I did it yesterday and was confirmed with text message yet nobody came it’s 12:50 pm, the think which making me crazy is that to get service it takes you ages and nothing is done but when is about payment we never delay them it easier for them to take money but not to do a good service, this February i was struggling with internet (ee broadband) it was sooooo bad suddenly I found a text message telling me that my bill is ready to pay it which is amount of £31.50 that so silly and not good for this brand at all and if you want to stop the contract they gonna 100% telling me you need to pay an amount bla bla ..... I’m just tired pffffffff
