Why it’s worth comparing Virgin renewal deals
|
|---|
Already with Virgin Media? Before you renew, it’s worth checking what else is available.
Virgin Media broadband prices now rise by £4 a month every April. That means many existing customers end up paying far more than new sign-ups.
Often, switching providers could save you money and unlock rewards like gift cards too.
Before renewing your contract, compare today’s broadband deals, speeds, and rewards available at your address.
Virgin renewal deals: adjusting your package
Don’t let your existing contract continue without taking action. This will always mean you overpay for your broadband.
Here are a few things to consider before you decide what to do:
Virgin offers for existing customers
Sign in to your Virgin Media account to view your upgrade offers.
You can usually browse these a month or so before your contract end date.
But you should also compare these deals with offers new customers are receiving.
Even if you renew, you’re unlikely to get bonuses like gift cards or Bill Credit.

Haggling tips for a better offer
If you don’t see anything in your upgrade offers, call the customer retentions team. Explain you’re thinking about leaving and ask if they have any better offers.
Remember, you don’t have to accept the first offer. Ask for a reference number if you need time to think.

Virgin Media TV packages for existing customers - what are your options?
You don't have to wait until your contract is over to add TV channels to a broadband service.
Flex TV is an easy add-on. It costs an additional £5 a month on top of your broadband bill (plus your sub costs).
This gives you the option to add subscriptions like Netflix, TNT Sports and Sky Cinema HD whenever you like.
Flex comes with a 30-day rolling contract, so you can cancel at any time.
