What does ‘cheaper’ mean?

It’s common to find different prices for broadband packages on comparison sites.

One site might offer a lower monthly cost, while another might offer a higher upfront reward. 

To calculate the total cost of a package, we look at the total cost of the contract. Here's the maths:

Upfront costs + monthly fee + price rises - reward total = total cost

How does it work?

If you switch with Broadband Genie, but find a better offer for the same package on the same day, here's what to do:

  • Email [email protected] with the confirmation email from your new provider. Make sure this includes the date and time you received it
  • Add a link to the site on which you’ve found the better deal, along with a screenshot
  • We'll check and match this with your transaction in our records
  • If we have a match, you're all set. We'll get to work sending your voucher and your bonus tenner!
  • When your provider confirms the sale to us, we'll email to let you know it’s time to claim your voucher.

When can you use the Genie Guarantee?

Broadband deal prices can vary significantly from one day to the next. Because of this, we'll only price match within the same calendar day.

  • Terms and Conditions

    • This offer is not available for purchases made via the telephone, in-store or web chat.
       
    • Upgrading customers are not eligible for this voucher offer.
       
    • Expect your gift card to arrive within 120 days from the date of your broadband purchase. Please be aware that the mentioned date is an estimate and relies on placing the order today. We strongly recommend letting this period pass before querying the status of your voucher.
       
    • Once verified, details of how to claim the voucher will be sent to the email address you have provided. You will then have 90 days to claim this voucher
    • Plans purchased through our partners and other affiliate sites will not qualify.
       
    • The transaction should be completed in one session to ensure the sale is tracked correctly. If before completing your transaction you click through to the provider from another affiliate site or navigate away from the provider site, the sale may not track correctly, and you will not qualify for the reward.
    • Broadband Genieholds the right to withdraw this offer if we believe that the terms of the offer are being abused in any way.
