Simply Dreadful Broadband.
EE should be prosecuted under the trades descriptions act. This is not broadband it is dial-up speed narrowband. The symptoms are:
1.Frequently impossible to log on.
2.Inadequately slow download speeds.
3.Difficulty accessing even basic e-mails.
4.Impossible to do email attachments.
5.Heavily graphic sites will not download.
6.Impossible to stream, all videos and films will buffer and freeze. In other words immediatly defer to the basic detent position and fail to function.
7.Impossible to game.
Fundamentally this is a scam. It is not fit for the purpose and is being mis-sold as broadband. My average download speeds are between 0.7 and 1.1Mbps. OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!! -

Awful from the start. 1st fibre order had to be cancelled and then Re-ordered as standard and then an upgrade to fibre wh Ch never worked until 3 openreach engineers called out and a change to my landline number which I was never told about. Worked for 2 weeks and then stopped working Wednesday 12th September and reported to them, told that it would take 4 days and have heard nothing since 17th sept which was a false promise of a phonecall back that day which never happened. Have had more time disconnected since I took out broadband with them than an actual connection. No replies to emails. Never had one day of problems with plusnet but since I moved to Ee it had been awful. Do not ever consider them for your broadband. -

Dreadful Broadband. Just so so so bad, just so so so slow. Just unbelievable. Just does not work! Often cannot log on! Cannot use more than one device and with just the one it is impossible to stream, emails are slow, impossible to do attachments, very very slow to download anything. In fact this is not an ISP as we know it..... it is a total and absolute sham!!!! -

EE is just the most garbage Internet Sevice Provider in the UK. Downloads are so slow that they rival the old narrow band dial up speeds of the early nineties. Many times you cannot log on. It is impossible to use more than one device at a time. Streaming is impossible. Total Trash!!!.....and Hey!..... try the comedy experience of thier ides of a "customer services department". A group of labotimised chimps could do a better job. KEEP AWAY FROM EE!! -

The worst broadband I have ever had. Too slow to be of any use, and no interest/assistance or compensation for EE. Absolute rubbish.

I was with EE for nearly a year and a half with no issues. Suddenly I got cut off as BT had 'slammed' the line. When I called EE ( my provider ) I was told that they had it in hand and would get me back online within a day. This didn't happen, phoned again to be told the same story, this happened another two times. Eventually after 2 weeks of having no broadband service provided by EE they eventually gave up and said it was embarrassing but all they could do was start the process from scratch and that it would take an engineer a further 2 weeks to come out. They were apologetic but no compensation was offered and they made no effort what so ever to resolve the situation. I was embarrassed for them. -

Moved from BT who were slow and inconsistent. EE delivering the goods with consistent speeds of 36mbps which is what we were told we’d get. I’m verifying this daily using Ookla Speedtest app. -

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I had my broadband cut off without any warning and although they admitted it was their fault they did very little to make this better for me. I was constantly lied to about when the service would be working again and numerous times I was told I would get a call back that never came. I would avoid this company at all costs. Much better providers out there. -

DESPICABLE UTTER GARBAGE TERRIBLE AWFUL SERVICE - do NOT believe the hype, EE is NOT a good service provider
5 days delay for my fiber home broadband activation, and still not activated, no one calls, texts or emails to tell you!
...then I call EE home broadband help and some rude young pup questioned my gender and sexuality! ...when I got upset, he said "I work in a gay bar" !!!
UNBELIEVABLE, UTTERLY UTTERLY inappropriate!
This is the last straw, I dont know why I bothered to stick around after a year of my contract had passed.
After SUFFERING for over a year in contract for SIM and a '4GEE MAX' MIFI box, I have had enough, I have complained so MANY times!
Nothing changes!
I get free months here and there because the service provided has been so bad.
HUGE delays in sending text messages.
Cell service is INFERIOR and cuts out often (not my phone, I checked!)
Internet is SLOW and you will NEVER get the speeds promised, not even the MINIMAL guaranteed speeds.
I luckily saved a folder full of screen shots, call logs, texts, emails, videos and photos of what I have had to put up with this year - and I am filing a report with Ofcom.
...you should do the same, because EE presents themselves with clever advertising using ' Kevin Bacon ' , boasting about how they are the BEST! ... well they are NOT, they are AWFUL!
I spoke with a telecommuncations engineer who said they have been under government investigation for a long time now, I hope they destroy the whole company!
There are criminals at the head of the table in EE, they are cutting back on services and performances, but still charge the customers the same amount.
I honestly think that EE should be tried in a criminal court of law, they have treated British citizens with disgraceful disrespect!
Cancel your account, dont pay your bill and get Ofcom and a solicitor involved!
CONSUMERS BEWARE! EE is not everything everwhere, EE is NOTHING NO WHERE! -

We were with Plusnet and then switched to EE. Almost immediately, the issues started. Service down during peak times, slow download speeds - and I mean slow! 1mbps was not an infrequent occurrence. Called and complained and after 3-4 days and numerous calls it seemed to be fixed. That last a couple of months then same issues. A few months after that they changed my contract without letting me know (they say they sent an email - presumably straight to my spam folder) and when I contacted them about it a few months later they refused to change it back or cancel without paying a cancellation fee. Madness. After multiple calls and arguments they let me out without a cancellation fee. Although yet to switch so wouldn’t be surprised if they take a payment when the time come. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. -

Even writing this short review is painful. Regular download speeds of 0.3mb. Haven't watched a film to the end in months. Such a waste of money. Due to swap providers on 4th September and it can't come quickly enough. -

Worst broadband ever. Works for two hours of the day then that's it. Would definitely not recommend to anyone ever. Waste of money and time. Had 3 engineers out and still nothing has changed, in fact it got worse. Just as bad as the mobile service. -

Increasingly poor quality signal and slower speeds. It has got to the point it is unusable for gaming. Made worse by slow response from customer case at EE. Off to look for a better provider. -

Buyer beware. This oversold service is so throttled outside core business hours to be useless for the consumer. A guaranteed 30 Mbps connection cannot, for most of the evening deliver more than 0.2 Mbps. Customer service has a script that dates from the early millennium referring to a cabled interface not provided in modern equipment. Avoid. Like the plague. Look elsewhere. -

I live in an area where high speed broadband is not available. I opted to use EE 4G broadband with an external antenna. Speed is good at around 20mbs (compared to 2mbs on landline. The biggest issue is that broadband is capped at between 50 and 200 gb depending on which package you purchase. I have 200gb which lasts 3 weeks leaving us without any internet for one week each month. we are not particularly heavy users although my three children do watch TV online. Customer service are great, they have on 2 occasions refreshed the broadband mid month but they cant keep doing that. I'm tied in to an 18 month contract which I regret taking out. The landline was slow but at least it was always available. -

Never known such slow broadband. Sometimes impossible to even log-on. Dead slow download speeds averaging about 1.1-1.3 Mbps. Really bad. I thought it was a fault but reading other reviews I see it is typical of EE. And also the Tech Services department absolutely sucks!! This is a very bad company. Dishonest.
