Terrible customer service! I can’t give any stars for the Broadland speed or reliability because I still don’t have the broadband set up after waiting for two weeks. I’ve had to call vodaphone many times and after lengthy conversations they still aren’t able to send an engineer out to set up my broadband. -

After many years of trying to move (3 times)into the modern world via Fibre my dream has come true.
Several of the well known brands failed me, lied, never turned up, refused to climb up due to H&S.
Vodafone transition was so simple and the Hub very stylish.
I moved from the copper cable 10mbps to fibre 100mbps and a VOIP telephone!
Everything was simple, slick and worry free. Vodafone were brilliant.
My new VOIP phone is far better than the old landline!
Just remember if you are moving to fibre and a VOIP telephone system you have no need to buy a VOIP telephone just a converting insert plug called a RJ11 adapter. -

Contract was meant to start 14/12/22 but did not start 28/12/22 I called to ask why it didn’t happen after being charged an enormous sum from the previous company as I was out of contract. The advisor said they were sorry it did not start when I requested and I would be compensated £5.25 per day to cover my other charges up until 28th. I went on their chat today and after two and half hours on chat to be told they would compensate me £10 as there was no record of their employee advising me this. I refused this and have been referred to another system which will take 48 hours and they will let me know. Wish I had read more reviews before I went with Vodafone . -

Worst tech support in the world! they haven't got a clue
Raised a case with 'support' about less than 1MB/s download speed in the evening only. Mornings and afternoons were totally fine, just dropped to unusable speed during peak hours.
Every time I called them quoting the ticket reference, I'd ask them to describe the issue I was experiencing... it would take them about 5 minutes (at least) to figure out what I was complaining about! and most of the time I'd have to tell them the problem again. I think they just write notes on their computer system which is a terrible way to manage tech support tickets - that coupled with poor grasp of English Grammar means that their notes are illegible so the next tech admin cant decipher what the previous guy wrote (and so on). It's really not the fault of the support staff - vodafone have given them this antiquated IT system and they have put draconian time wasting procedures in place. Vodafone are no doubt taking advantage of these cheap call centers in Egypt and provide them with minimal training,
Then they asked me to take screenshots from speedtest.net for morning, afternoon and evening and send them the results via email - so that they could escalate the case to 3rd line support. I did so, it takes them 24 hours to validate the screenshots and then they ended up rejecting it - because they want the screenshot to cover the whole desktop!.. then I submit again and they reject again. Then I submit again and they reject again for some other silly reason. Each submission/rejection process takes 24 hours (minimum). Total bunch of time wasters
2nd Line support may as well be an automated voice service. 'Have you tried rebooting the router? Have you tried an ethernet cable? Have you tried another device? in that case send screenshots!' That's all they've got.
Also 2nd line, cannot communicate verbally with 3rd line. They send each other emails. Turn around to respond to each email is 24 hours (min).. they just wasted days and days and days and did absolutely nothing. My cancellation has happened before the ticket even made it to third line. Last I heard was they rejected the screenshots again for a 5th time due to two chrome tabs being open in one of the screenshots
Cheap broadband, good when it works - if you have any issues tech support is a nightmare.
My two cents, they were quite happy to hear that I got so frustrated that I wanted to cancel. They pretty much rolled out the red carpet and gave me a months refund and said they'd fast track the termination to be in 48 hours. I guess every case they refer to OpenReach costs them money.. that's why they put so many barriers in the way. They're happier for you to leave and take the issue with you to your next supplier. It works out cheaper for them. -

I'm a civil servant, the Vodafone home broadband has been next to useless for the last three years; during the Covid lockdown, as a key worker I was having to go in a special office fifty miles from home on a daily basis because working at home was virtually impossible, the speed and reliability are appalling, Send and Receive bobble between zero and typically around 200Kbps (yes, not even 1Mbps). Government IT specialists conducted diagnostic tests for me and found that the signal is both weak and dropping out. As I'm now moving house, I cannot even be bothered to argue anymore with Vodafone but I would never sign up with them in my new house and would not recommend them to anybody. -

I would absolutely recommend that people avoid this provided. For 18 months I have been unable to connect any 2.4ghz devices. I have reported it repeatedly, hours and hours on hold, multiple promises of call backs. I have been spoken to like a child, told I that I must have my passwords wrong or that all of my devices are faulty because it’s definitely not the router. Despite their assurances that the router is working perfectly, it was suggested that I buy my own router or upgrade to their new package! -

Their service was okay, same with the speed. The last few weeks have been really awful. In the evening the internet disconnects at least 2-3 times while we are watching a series or a film. Even when we are not downlaoding anything. Trying to play an online game like Fort**** in the evening is a big risk unless we want to gamble and die half-way through the game.
Their customer service is not the greatest either. It takes forever for them to get any resolution.
I've been with them for the las 2 years and wished I did not join in the first place. So looking forward to move. -

Worst customer Service. Broadband worked less than 24 hours before it went down. No one helped for 2 days so moved back to other provider. Shocking thing is, Vodafone billed me £30 for such a service. What a pathetic approach. -

Worst customer service I've ever experienced.
The communication between vodafone and the installers (cityfibre) is non existent. What was meant to be a Jan 3rd install was cancelled. Was then put to the 31st Jan. This was cancelled. Was then put to Feb 27th. I found Open Reach could do it way sooner so cancelled the contract. I think the problem lay in Vodafone lying about the fact I could get a fibre connection, as actually what I found out is fibre hadn't actually been set up in the whole area beforehand. Complete clusterfuck and completely unprofessional. Don't use them. Go with a solid provider who use a trusted installation team. -

Don’t waste your time on these people, Vodafone installed my equipment on January 24th 2023 but ran into a problem no fibre. I got told they was a problem and would get solved by February 1st rang up explaining problem wasn’t resolved to be told they need extra time and wait till February 7th absolute joke. NEVER AGAIN ALL BAISED ON LIES . -

0 rating for Vodafone. Please avoid Vodafone before you get mental health issues with them. All they will do is extend your activation date. Even on the day after 4months the engineer from open reach came and connected everything on. All that was left was for Vodafone to active the line on their end. Engineer was really kind and kept in touch with us over days to let us know that he’s forcing Vodafone to active the line but with no luck. Spent 8 hours a day on Tobi chat with Vodafone where they kept extending my activation date by saying the engineers have done their part and need to come again. Please avoid absolute mental damage waste of time and energy. Save yourself people don’t choose Vodafone. -

Just awful. Avoid at all costs. If you can't get another company in your area, consider moving or living the life of a hermit because not having the internet at all is probably better than having vodafone internet. You can't even leave a complaint about how bad it is because a) the internet is so slow that you get bored if waiting for the page to load and b) the site is deliberately designed to make it almost impossible to find the complaints page and then actually follow through on it. I had more reliable internet in 2001 and I wish I were exaggerating. -

STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY! I signed up after being MANIPULATED by their adverts on TV; was sold this brilliant, reliable broadband which was cost efficient & had a MINIMUM of 50mb/s, at least. The thing barely reaches 30mb ON A GOOD DAY, the internet drops MULTIPLE TIMES, PER DAY, and the range on the router itself is flat out EMBARASSING. DON'T RECOMMEND AT ALL, because now I'm tied with a 24 month contract with a company that don't even help their customers but are happy to take their money off them. -

Engineer fitted router but couldn't get it work. Phoned " customer service " multiple times, in fact there is no company service. Absolutely terrible company. They disconnected my Sky router, promised they expedited my case, but they lie constantly.
I would never recommend Vodafone to anyone. If I could put zero stars I would. Can't phone service dept as number is on answer machine. Disgraceful, awful company. I'm going back to Sky. Vodafone are RUBBISH. -

Never get the advertised speed that I pay for, some websites either won't load or take ages, but on mobile connection they load instantly. Terrible router software that often won't let me log in. Parental controls are a waste of time. wifi signal around the house is very intermittent and changeable
