I have been sky customer for last 18 months. I have FTTP 500 via BT open reach. Wired connection i am able to achieve over 400 mbps but on wireless it drops to around 250 mbps in the same room or very near to sky router. Upstairs it drops to below 50 mbps. and even in some room around 20 mbps. Looking at some other provider,s review looks like none of their routers are able to provide good coverage through out the house unless you use a mesh system. I have small house and Router is attached to the side of stair case but soon as you are upstairs where distance is probably 1-2 meters, wifi does not perform well. -

I switched to Sky in November from EE based on their 'deal' £22/month (12 month contract).
After 4 payments they increase it by £3/month!
This ruse is sickening and unfair.
When will consumers get a fair deal from broadband providers in that when they offer a deal they either stick to it to the penny, or be honest about the actual cost of the broadband for the duration of the contract?
The market just seems so dishonest and manipulative. -

Atrocious customer service. Price hike within 6 months of joining. Excessively long delays when phoning customer service. Advertised as 100mbps+ download speed normally less than 40mbps, and has been as low as 16mbps. Signal from router does not reach all of property as claimed. Initial service connection delayed by over 2 weeks , did not receive due compensation Will be switching at the end of the contract I switched from Virgin because of unreasonable cost [£50+ for broadband only, though I know of cases where people are being charged £80+]. Now with SKY, and there is NOTHING that I would recommend. -
