Got the mobile broadband for a 12months contract. It's been poor for the last 6 months and when I finally decided to cancel they managed to talk me into it again promising a new device type after a dozen hours wasted on customer service. They sent me the same device with service beeing as poor as before. The mocking they handled my situation is incredible, all they've done is to waste my time again and again. Just now I told the guy in the live chat I just want to cancel and not waste any of my time, he asked to speak on the phone, told him I can't and I gave permission for somebody else to finish the process. They called the other person just to waste another 5 minutes with details verification and conclude that nothing can be done without the main person on the contract on the phone. I have never heard of anything similar before, Customer Service seems like a bunch of incompetents running a scam from their basement. Insane mocking and disrespect to me as a customer. Of course, I'll have to pay the full contract anyway,no matter how bad the service was for the usage period. They don't even have a capable technical team, when they called to troubleshoot my device they asked 0 tehnical questions just basic, irelevant settings matters. Insane that this company is running a bussiness in UK. Never felt more disrespected on my own dime. Don't get the service. -

Joined due to the price and it definitely paid the price. Worst customer service along side the speed of the wifi Huwawie is rubbish. Never again. The customer support technical team always telling me there is no issue however takes forever to load a simple google page. Cannot watch anything on youtube as it always buffers. All pages buffer. DO NOT RECOMMEND -

This is the worst service I have ever had from ANY company. They didn't take payments (I turned it off as I already had Virgin broadband which was expiring at the end of 2019) I received a mail saying that I was being suspended on the 8th Jan and called them to arrange payment on the 15th (my first payday after Christmas). They said that they would and when I called them to make a payment (£70) they told me the account t was cancelled and I owed then the years payment. I offered to pay on in full to resolve ans couldn't have been more flexible but they are AWFUL. Avoid at all costs. I am currently looking at legal action and the ombudsman is backing me.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS -

I bought 3's Huawei 4G mobile wifi unit on 9 January 2020. Back at my location in Acton the download speed never got above 2Mbps in the first 48 hours and there were losses of connection about every 5 minutes. When I went back to their Westfield store at 18:00 on 11 January they filed a Customer Technical Request and said that their technicians would call me within 48 hours. By 19:00 on 13 January I had not received a call from 3's technical services. None of my regular download speed checks had got above 2 Mbps in the intervening 2 days, and there were still losses of the connection every 10 minutes. I explained the problem to shop staff. They could only let me wait 10 minutes until the manager had time. I explained the problem to the manager. He called 3's customer relations department. We both sat there for 15 minutes waiting for 3's customer relations department to answer. I was then asked to explain the problem again, told that my contract could not be cancelled, and told to wait while I was passed to the technical support department. When connected, I was asked to explain the whole problem again. The technical support person then said he was passing my call to the customer cancellations department, as he could not decide on a cancellation himself. I declined to explain the problem yet again, and demanded a written confirmation of my cancellation. The technical support person said the customer cancellations department would call me back in about 48 hours.
I have cancelled the direct debit. 3 is withholding my money with insufficient grounds. -

Absolutely terrible customer service. They charged me for 2 further months after I called them to say I moved, yet left me no messages. I was a loyal customer for years and now they charged me for months I didn’t use. The broadband was slow and definitely unreliable. I will never be using their services again -

Three mobile broadband service is horrible. Web page takes indefinitely to load. I tried paying my daughter school fee on line this evening, it did not get through because of "frustrating slow speed". I regret that I bought it service. -

Download speeds are incredibly unpredictable; very occasionally you might get 20mbps, but you usuallyget 0.5-2mpbs. Customer Service will have you move the router around, change Wifi frequency etc., but it does nothing to help the really poor consistency of their services.
What I really don't understand is my mobile provider Smarty use the Three network, and my phone gets far greater download speeds than the router sat in the window. I hotspot more than I use the Router now, which begs the question why bother paying for the service in the first place.
Easy to choose them Relish/Three in the first place due to their quick delivery/set up times, but in the end really not worth the hassle. -

I thought this would solve my BB problems as i live in the countryside.
The signal drops & rises, surely i should be able to get a reliable 20meg d/load speed. Some times it drops to around 3-4 meg d/load.I need to shop around once my contract is up. -

I can only comment on mobile data on my iPhone at the moment- but `I would like to know how the service is on the Huawei B535 Homefi service as it is currently on offer to existing 3 customers. I am fed up paying fixed line rentals for services with BT and Virgin which I had loads of trouble with and to be honest I got better service for online tv and Netflix through my iphone. Anyway it would be nice to know how their service performs through the B535 router as I am getting mixed reports but on earlier models. -

These guy's are useless, customer service is ok if u speak Indian/Pakistani. But i am English and have yet to speak to an English employee of 3. Everything is lag lag lag with it no matter where is put it. I wish i never got this cube, yes alexa is ok thats it. Avoid it folks its useless for anything apart from browsing the web, streaming is a nono same as online gaming -

Very unreliable and if you plan on using this for online gaming it will perform poorly if anybody else is connected. 2 or 3 streaming devices is enough to faulter three and their broadband. -

Have had broadband supply from 3 for 2 months, during that time we have lost signal numerous times, for up to 5 days. Customer service is appalling, do not seem to care, say someone will contact within 2 days, and will try and get signal back within 7. Have never had any problems with previous suppliers. Only have 1 stars because you cannot give none. -

Absolutely ****** service, I was told by their website that 4G and 5G are available in my flat and that internet speeds were a minimum of 20Mbs.
Once I received the device it wasn't even receiving 4G, the maximum speed I received was barely 700 Kbs ( emphasis on the K ). After calling customer service, I was answered by an inexperienced technician in a different country that was reading a pre-set script and had absolutely no idea about what he was talking about.
His main recommendation: " Put the device next to the window it will work have a better signal "
Being desperate for Wifi, I opened the window and put the device almost outside which is when I finally reached a speed of 1Mbps ... I decided to cancel the service afterward and was told by the company to send the Hub back by post, they also had the nerve to tell me that If they do not receive the device or if it was damaged I would be charged with a 350£ penalty ( For a ****** Huawei Hub that does not cost more then 20£ )
I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL -

i live in very rural west sussex. My talk talk broadband -fibre, was peaking at about 27mb. Then my price went up out of contract so i switched. I had looked at mobile as i knew the mast was only about 1 mile away and was 4g+ enabled. I am an existing 3 customer so knew i had coverage. I bought the alexa enabled Huwawei AI cube and pay £20 a month. i am getting a connection of around 90mb now. There is a cap of 1TB per month so keep your eye on your usage, you can do all of this on your phone with the app. if you have doubts, simply tether your existing phone to your pc/laptop/firetv stick etc and see if it works before you order the hub. Its excellent, the hub, and has alexa and a nice bass speaker in there so you can pair your devices to it for sound as well.Much better and faster than wired broadband out here in very rural west sussex.
