Home broadband deals in Cambridge

With 99% access to Superfast connections, Cambridge boasts a wide choice of broadband services.

As well as plenty of options from the big names such as Sky, Vodafone and BT, CityFibre, the UK's largest independent full fibre platform, has laid full fibre cables through Cambridge. This is part of its £26m plan to future-proof the city's digital connectivity. And there's also the option of Gigabit cable broadband using the Virgin Media network, with 78% availability to residents.

Comparing mobile broadband in Cambridge

All four mobile network operators report good coverage of central Cambridge and much of the surrounding area too.

Three, EE, O2, and Vodafone all provide 4G signal in at least the central locations, with only some outlying patches which may struggle when indoors. But it has to be said, O2's offering is a little patchy.

Coverage extends out to areas such as Trumpington, Newmarket and Huntingdon. Although still limited, there's a growing level of 5G connectivity in Cambridge from all four networks.

You should always check coverage in your area before purchasing a mobile service. As well as the network’s own coverage check tools (which you can access by clicking the logos below), ask friends and family for their experiences.

Sort by

Our deals are sorted by how popular they are with our visitors. The more people clicking on a deal - especially if they then buy it - the higher it is in our tables.

Sponsored deals are not factored in when sorting by popularity.

Pricing Calculation

Effective monthly cost = This shows how much you are effectively paying each month over the length of the contract by taking into account rewards savings and one-off fees. The calculation for this is monthly cost x length of contract + setup cost - rewards savings.

Monthly cost = What you'll pay each month. This does not include additional fees, such as phone calls, which may be added to your bill.

Setup cost = The cost of installation, postage for the Wi-Fi router, and any other one-off charges.

Total Price Rise Costs = This is the additional amount paid over the course of the contract based on any annual price rises by the provider.

Rewards saving = The value of vouchers and other perks included with a deal such as cashback, bill credit or a gift card which you can claim.

What does this mean?

The speedometer gives you a quick idea of how fast a deal is. Speeds are shown in average download speed (Mb/Gb) – here’s what each level means:

💡 Tip: You don’t always need the highest speed, but it can help make things smoother and future-proof your home.

What is a trending deal?

A trending deal is a package that has increased in popularity in recent days. We base this on the number of people clicking on, and buying the deal.
