The worst fiber-optic broadband I have had for over 15 years. Including, SKY, EE (the best) and others. Constantly keeps dropping signal or running very slow and vodafone are unwilling to terminate my contract. I have heard many similar complaints since and the same with their mobile phone contracts. Avoid at all costs! -

Well...I never took notice of these reviews specially about the dropping and I have now paid for it!! I though that this will happen to others and not to me!! How wrong I was! Changed from BT to Vodafone. They run on the same track but I don't understand why it drops so often when BT is pretty reliable (not a single drop in a year I stayed with them). Vodafone told me I needed to change the channel...kept doing that but no luck everyday at the beginning of the connection it dropped even for hours specially during the first 10 days. Sometimes i do work for home and put me in serious difficulties as delayed everything and deadlines I had to complied with . The speed-test I took were irrational, sometimes download was 53 out of 76 but most of the time in the 30s and even on several occasions 12, 15 and 22. Most of the time in the 40s . How do you explain this? Where is the Super-fast that they advertise? BT tried to persuade me not to move to Vodafone because if service goes down they do not have 24 hours service, so I told this to Vodafone and they told me they are wrong that they also have 24 hours support if line goes down. So one of the days that service went down and I had to do important work I rang support at 23 hours and in fact their technical support is NOT 24 hours, so they lied to me. The only positive thing i found was that I live in a four bed house and with BT even their super router as BT advertise and proud of, is a lot of nonsenses ( i still have to use an extender) but surprisingly with the Vodafone router connection reached all corner of my house when it worked (maybe a coincidence) but was dropping and dropping. It is really sad that a big company as Vodafone sells a product that are not able to provide to the public and moreover satisfy. They have so many problems (you only have to see this reviews) and is giving them such a
bad reputation. Or you have the equipment to provide a reliable service or better stay out Mr VODAFONE DIRECTOR please take note if you don't want your business to collapse. Customer services was OK never tried to put any hindrance when i decided to cancel (within the 30 days), the only annoyance is that when you call the usual stuff....if you want this press 1, if you want that press 2 and so on and so on...but when you get there it happens that it is another department and then there is another two telephone transfers before you reach the right department and you have spent 20 minutes on the phone waiting and another 20 explaining over and over again the issue. Why you bother to put an automated answering service it it never gets you to the right people. I think that Trading Standards should take notice of this, it is making people to loose so much time. Having said that this latter is the usual thing with all telephone companies and it is that they never learn....!!! I have come back to BT for the moment and for reliability but I have to say that among all the telephone companies BT has the the most dreadful customer service you can experience. You will be OK if you have no problems but if you do.... you better start saying your prayers beforehand....!!! I might comeback to Vodafone but before that I need to see that they have greatly improve and that they provide a steady service with no dropping! Of course, at the moment you get what you pay for....! -

Worst broadband and terrible customer service. Messed with me for 2 months. I was getting 9-15 mbps on 76 mb package when they guaranteed 62.8 min speed. Previous providers speed was 30-32 mb on 38mb package at least but I thought Vodafone can be better and that was a mistake. After 2 months of almost 3-= calls weekly and hours and hours on each call I finally stopped their payments and told them to take me to court as they wouldn't even let me go.
TERRIBLE CS.
Their staff only work for salary and don't care about company's reputation or think about customer.
DONT BUY. -

I sing the contact on 16 of March for 76 mbps. They promised me that everything will start on 23 rd of March, just arrived to home got text that my internet will start 4 of April. 4 of April internet was actived but router I got 7 of April:D
When I plugged into the wall off course nothing was working. I was calling to customer service many times and after waiting additional week 12 of April finally engineer came and fixed problem. Every single evening from aroud 6 pm speed of internet is around 2-5 mbps but now is all the time like this so I would say that I stuck without internet again.
I try to cancel my contract because I'm really tired of Vodafone. So if you don't want have problem with internet keep away from Vodafone.

AVOID!!!! If there was an option to give zero stars I would. Had broadband with VF for 4 months now, internet drops at least 4 times a day, speed is so slow, lucky to get 9mbps through WIFI and ethernet. I work from home and this is a severe problem. The morons at tech support send us round in circles. We discovered not all of our issues have been logged. We were told twice we can leave without cancellation fee and compensation if the problem cannot be solved within 48 hours. It's now been 4 months and the broadband is so bad that we have now lost all internet connection for over a week. VF's response...the tech team will get back to you in 48 hours! APPALLING! We have logged a formal complaint and told we have to wait at least 14 days while they 'investigate' before we can cancel. What a load of BS! -

Broadband randomly drops when not in constant use and speed is variable at best. The issue for me is that they have just doubled the cost of my broadband with no notification other than sending me the new bill. Apparently, I went out of contract four months ago and no one thought to mention it, so they have the freedom to charge me what they think fit. Customer support were pleasant but couldn’t do anything beyond refunding the increase this month. This isn’t the first time they have done this. -

Appalling service, they promised the internet service to start on the 4th of April, then due to an unknown fault they delayed it until the 13th. However we could not use Internet until several calls in the 14th. Compensation? £15 and a very arrogant manager called Robert with no manners irle customer service skills... -

BEWARE - A few weeks ago we started experiencing intermittent service and slow speeds , so I complained and after more than an hour on the phone they agreed with my theory it wasn’t my laptop or my connection that the was the problem ! I insisted they raise the query and I never heard back . After 4 online chats and 2 calls all iniatated by ME not VF they have agreed I can cancel at no cost or fee as they cannot provide the speeds or close to it at peak times . They are not delivering on their contractual obligation - that’s all! After 4 weeks and them saying it’s a BT Opemreach problem they now say it’s been resolved as best as possible as it has to do with congestion and overcrowding on their lines. Basically they were customer greedy and are now chocking on their greed ! I’m going to write to the ombudsman’s as it’s poor service and poor sales management that have led people into signing up for something they cannot deliver on ! I have 3 mobile contracts too so it’s not like I’m trying to get it for free but I’m not paying £20 / month when I should be paying £2 as I only get 10-15% speeds at peak times . C u VF BB . -

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO DEAL WITH. I didn't think one company could be as bad as Currys Pc World, but Vodafone has topped it. I am under contract with them with mobile and broadband. Cannot wait to be free of them.
Switched from BT, stupidly. The speeds promised are absolute rubbish, which makes no sense because in my area VF are using BT lines.
We had an engineer come out, nothing, hours on calls to "tech support" nothing. I am at my wits end with this company. AVOID. -

Signed up for broadband on 5 April. Then started to read all the bad reviews so I cancelled contract on 6 April. Told it takes 48 hours to cancel even though they signed me up in seconds. Although I cancelled the service yesterday I find today they have put through a Direct Debit on my bank account. Trying to call customer services and no one answers. Will stay with BT although more expensive at least it is a reliable service and they answer the phones! -

Very disappointed with the speed received on the line. Customer service did try and help, but no improvement at peak times. Paying for 38Mb but receive about 6-10Mb in the evenings. Very poor. This is likely due to the insufficient backhaul capacity - Vodafone has oversold their packages in the area with promises that the infrastructure they lease cannot maintain. Avoid. -

Stay away! After years with Sky Broadband and TV Package, we decided to cancel the TV and look around for another provider! Vodafone had a good deal on at the time so we went with them.
Since then, we have struggled to get any reliable service during peak hours. Devices taking multiple attempts to get connected to the WiFi, Netflix and Amazon Prime refusing to load and when it does and we navigate to our program of choice, it fails to play. Our mobile phones don’t download the images on websites we are browsing etc.
I have no biased for Sky, there bungle became to expensive after some initial offers expired, but we never experienced anything like this! It’s nothing short of appalling! -

Signed up to Vodafone's 38Mbps service because of the cheaper price compared to sky my previous supplier. The changeover was smooth with no problems but the speeds of the Internet was pathetic at peak times down to 1.5 Mbps which makes it useless. This happened every day at peak times. My connection, like a lot of other VF users was being throttled to death. The useless speed guarantee only applies to the line sync speed and NOT the throughput speed!! Thats like having a farrari in rush hour traffic, pointless with no recompense.

I ordered Broadband through vodaphone as every contract we already have with them.
From the start there was poor communication from Vodaphone cancelling the order on TWO separate occasions, with this they kept sending openreach engineers whilst they was told that nobody was available until a certain date.
The service has been extremely poor, to which we have now cancelled the broadband service and we are now considering moving our phone services to another provider. -

AWFUL cancelled after a week but now no other provider can connect me because of Vodafone’s complete uselessness. I now have to wait till I return the hardware before the cancellation goes through before anyone else can provide my fone and broadband. Absolute joke company, advise anyone thinking of using them to avoid like the plague. -

Do not sign up. Paying half price for 3x the speed I got with BT, too good to be true. Minimum guarantee speed of 49mbps download. Should be 76 mbps. Getting 35 max. Speed always alters. 13 live chats, 3 phone calls and 3 engineers later and still having cut outs every hour and slow speeds no where near what we were promised. Pay the extra £10 a month because it is much more worth it than the extremely poor service delivered. Wish there was a way of pulling out of a contract as I would definitely. -

Impossible to say how satisfied I am. After 18 months with "Bungeling" PlusNet and a year of unsatisfactory phone calls to India with BT, I changed and am getting a reliable 30megs. Fantastic
Comments:
I'm getting Sync speed 68 Mbit/s and 65 Mbit/s Real download speed during Peak Hours.
So far best broadband I ever had
On sad note... you will need your own router plug in Voodoo box to enjoy trouble free experience.
