Having moved to Vodafone Broadband at the beginning of this year I have had constant issues with wifi coverage within my home. This has lead to router, boosters and Alexa box changes. Recently I find my self with yet another Alexa booster box issues, that cannot be resolved as Vodafone are unable to provide a replacement box and cannot provide a forecast when they are able to. I find this disappointing when you consider the purchasing power of such a large company. Subsequently I have been told it is up to me to contact Vodafone to chase up the replacement for the t Alexa booster. I would have thought Vodafone would be able to order and send a replacement without the need for me to chase. Customer service is poor and when I wanted to raise a complaint the call handlers were unable to action the complaint or log it as they are not aware of a procedure for handling complaints. -

Tried to order pro 900 gigafast broadband to start using recent cityfibre line. The first order I made went through and I received the equipment. However apparently my installation booking did not and no one came to install it on prebooked date. I have reordered once again to only find out after 2 days that due to technical issues my order did no go through, despite receiving all documents and contract details. Only imagine how bad service would be if such company cannot even process orders correclty. It's been 3 weeks since 1st order and they were supposed to collect their equipment but are failing to provide return labels. I guess they don't really need it then. Well if I could I would givd zero throughout. Do not even think about vodafone or you will get very disappointed. -

1mbps speed since connection date. Impossible to get through to customer service, over 1 hour wait time. App doesn’t work. Online chat doesn’t work.

Switched from Virgin Media to what Vodafone describe as their 'pro' package. Absolutely horrendous. Constantly drops connection and then refuses to reconnect. App is a complete waste of time and customer service is shockingly bad. Counting the minutes to be out of contract and we'll go back to Virgin. -

Broadband keeps buffering. Two phone calls to technical services and went through the same procedures both times only to be told that the router is too far from TV. BT and Sky both worked fine in the same place. Avoid Vodafone broadband. -

Wish I had never gone with Vodafone. They have massive process and customer service issues. The agents just don't know what they are doing, have no agency and it is all so painful. The hours I have spent on the phone trying to sort stuff out. Simply put I have the following issues. 1) Internet regularly cuts out and 4G backup doesn't kick in 2) The Wifi Pro base station and boosters are just cr*p. They don't seem to manage any distance. Opposite the front door is a booster and the Ring doorbell can't connect. 15 ft with a small corner of the room blocking line of site and they don't work. They are really bad and you pay a lot for them. The Wifi Guarantee is meaningless as what can they do? Always someone promises it will improve but nothing changes. Why would I call a wifi expert when it takes 1 hour on the phone to get nowhere?
I couldn't recommend them in a million years. The service and product are very poor. -

I'm Owed £5 per day from 4th Nov to 17th Nov. £50 total for everyday you failed to reinstall my WiFi. This is now going to increase as you can't promise it will be this week. I was promised again 17th Nov was my WiFi installation day (original day was 4th Nov). Never received a time for the engineer via email so I'm currently on the phone and they said there's not enough information to do the installation tomorrow. You're now telling me it's going to be another 2 weeks for an installation. I spent an hour on the phone talking to a senior employee who promised they'd spoken to BT to do the install on 17th latest. What a lie this was.
I was also told I'm owed £80 for the cancellation and for compensation for no WiFi as me and my wife WFH but I've got to wait 30 days for this?
I then changed my address for the equipment to be delivered and you've sent it to my old address AGAIN!
I've rang vodafone again today 16th Nov to be told you've still not updated my address.
You've also now charged me a cancellation fee of £39.53 which has been taken out of my bank account despite me not cancelling my broadband both times. I've got to wait till December to get this back so another 2 weeks.
You've also lied about your coverage online in my area as it says 4G indoor and outdoor coverage but I got no signal on my phone so I've had to buy an EE sim card and router for the month just so we get Internet at our house. If you check the OfCom website it actually shows you don't get Vodafone coverage at my address so please change your website as you're misleading millions of people.
Funniest thing is, I was a Vodafone broadband customer before this circus started. All I did was move address, therefore I needed my wifi reinstalled but this is obviously too specialist for Vodafone. -

Following on from my previous review - My 83 year old mother still has no telephone or broadband.
The service was supposed to go live on the 17th Oct
Vodaphone are the most incompetent bunch I have ever come across.
Their customer care is non existent and they will keep you on the phone or chat for hours without resolving anything
Whatever you do DON'T switch to Vodaphone, you will regret it! -

Diabolical Service from Vodaphone - I wish I had never arranged a switch.
I arranged for my 83 year old mother to switch to fibre broadband from Plusnet (unable to do online banking with slow speeds on Plusnet)
The switch was supposed to take place on the 18th October.
All the external work was done weeks before the switch date.
On the 18th October an Engineer turned up to complete the internal work - causing quite a lot of disruption. The engineer was unable to complete the switch because of the shoddy job done ny Openreach outside the property .Apparently the cable hadn't been spliced properly. So my mother was left with furniture out of place,
I contacted Vodaphone on the chat who assured me that she would be connected within 24hrs.
The 24 hrs came and went and no contact from anyone. I contacted Vodaphone again on chat who tried to baffle me with the report from Openreach. I was assured that it would be sorted asap, and that she would get £5 a day compensation!!
Last week a phonemail from Openreach to say that they would be completing the work today (November 7th) An engineer has attended and once again has had to call for back up
Not once in the three weeks since the first engineer attended have Vodaphone been in touch
Their customer service is absolutely non existent - or they will lie to you so that they can finish the chat

I was a Vodafone Broadband customer for over 3 years, and over that time I generally had a good experience. However, over the past month or so my download speed during the evenings has dropped below 1Mbps (often around half of that). I have been unable to talk to anyone about the problem (either via phone or webchat) and kept getting bounced around between automated responses. I was also unable to talk to anyone about cancelling my subscription and had to take out a contract with another provider and have them cancel my Vodafone contract for me as part of the process.
As a result of this abysmal customer service, I am also likely to cancel my mobile contract when it expires and move to another provider. 1/10 -

Switching to Vodafone Broadband was the worst decision from the get go.
I, like another reviewer was tols that the bedroom was the best place and since found out it was simply the engineers being lazy. I could have it moved for an £80 charge!
They ripped out all my previous working system and installed their fibre optic which has been nothing short of a nightmare. Money has been spent on resolving connectivity, I pay extra for a booster, yet come tea time I can not maintain a Zoom call.
My son's XBox will not work in the next bedroom either.
I am enrolled in expensive courses that I cannot attend live due to this.
Try and get help? What a joke.
Apps are inconsistently working. When I do get help and tests are done I am told that it's the tea time load is unsolvable.
Well, how on earth did we never have these issues before?
It's like going back to the Stoneage.
Stay away from this appaling, useless service. -

My broadband was due to be activated on 1st July 2022. It is now 28th october and they have cancelled and renewed my order multiple times so I am still not connected. Openreach still needs to perform work to upgrade the line to fibre optics. They have now sent me 3 routers and wasted countless hours of my time on the phone and waiting for openreach engineers to arrive. Absolute joke, not recommended. Communication and customer service is terrible, not because of the workers but because of the systems they have in place. -

Vodafone is never to be reliable. Speed is not fast as hyperoptic or Virgin media, but it keeps on and off no services. Every time need to wait a week to fix. Even they can compensate to you, it’s not worth at all. -

Seriously horrible experience from the time I signed up and until the delivery. they promissed 3 dates and every single one them were pushed back with out any notice. when I called, they had some notes to say technician tried to contact....
and after a month, I had some ove visited and no broadband kit deliverd.
I probably have contacted Vodafone via calles and chat about 10 times ( atleast) and there were heaps of apologies and "i am here to resolve your query" slogans but there were no action
I couldnt explain in words how long and pathetic the service is -

Beyond bad. Swapped over on the 13th October. As of the 22nd October, still no internet. Can't believe what their team tell me as it conflicts with Open Reach engineers. Sent me to their local store to pick up temporary dongle.. Guess what, their store couldn't get on-line.. UNBELIEVABLE. Another engineer booked for the 25/10 but still no guarantee of internet. I've changed provider 4 times in the past, all changes have been smooth and trouble free.. Vodafone have been the only one to make a mess of it.. -

Just incompetent customer service. Since I joined they still can't fix my issue with logging to my account. They communicate very badly about the progress just suggesting me do so smth that doesn't work, ignore my emails or respond with robotic template. Also WIFi connection is not stable, my TV has issues connecting to the network as well as some of smart bulbs. After 3 months of the service I decided to leave.
