Find your Sky contract end date and get ready to switch broadband

How can you find out when your Sky broadband contract ends?

Wondering when your Sky contract finishes? Switching broadband is your best way to save and make sure you’re always getting the best value for money. On this page, we'll let you know the easiest places to find out your contract end date.

How to find your Sky contract end date

Being out of contract will make it light work to switch and get a better deal. On this page, we’ll show you where to find your Sky broadband contract details online to check when your minimum term is over. We’ll also give you Sky’s customer service telephone number if you need more advice or want to discuss a cancellation.

Find your Sky contract end date online using “My Account”

You can find out when your Sky contract ends online by logging into your My Sky Account.

  • Go to sky.com/myaccount
  • Enter your email address and password, then click ‘Sign in
  • You'll be able to access your contract in the 'Your Contracts' section.
  • If you can't see the one you need, select 'View all'.

Call Sky to find out how long is left on your contract

If you’d prefer to speak to Sky’s broadband customer service team to find out more about your contract term, the phone number is 0333 759 1473.

You’ll need your account number and be able to confirm some personal details (e.g. name, address, email).

Find your contract end date with 'Message a Sky expert'

You should be able to get some help and find out your contract end date by messaging a Sky expert. You can sign in to access the messaging service seven days a week. It's available 9am-7.30pm. This isn’t quite a live chat, so you might find you’ll have to wait a little while for an answer.

Once you know your date, mark it in your calendar and set yourself a reminder so you get a notification when you’re free to switch broadband service!

Leaving Sky broadband before your contract end date: early termination charges

Remember, if you leave Sky Broadband before your contract is up, you’ll be asked to pay an early termination fee. A cancellation fee total will depend on the package you’re signed up to. There are also two rates, depending on when you first joined Sky services.

Here’s a table of charges for ending your Sky contract early. For more information, you can also head over to our ‘how to cancel Sky Broadband page’.

Got to the end of your contract? It might be time to switch!

If you’ve reached your Sky broadband contract end date, now's a good time to shop around. Switching internet service providers is your best way to save money. It’s now very common for providers, including Sky to add a mid-contract price increase. This means the price you pay per month will gradually sneak up the longer you stick around. So far, Sky hasn't done this to its customers, but it has raised prices annually.

You’ll need to give Sky at least 14 days’ notice if you want to cancel your broadband account or Sky Talk services. This notice period is longer if you’re signed up to Sky TV contract on Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream at 31 days.
