I changed to a different provider 12/1/23 was told I didn't need to do anything as they would inform talktalk which they did but talktalk declined the take over so a payment went out of my account February and then in March contacted talktalk very very long winded process kept getting passed around finally thought I was in contact with correct person but all she wanted to offer me was a better deal. In the end had to phone the next day and was told I had not cancelled my contract (came to an end in November 22 so was paying higher rate) so long story short finally got it cancelled but have been told I will have make a payment in April as it is 30 days to cancel. Customer service is VERY VERY poor. I have never had to phone to cancel it has always been done automatically.

This company cheats people by introducing low price but bear in mind, if there are no service, their customers service is so bad, they can not even understand English they want you to spell everything you say. I don'have internet for nearly 7 weeks for the past 4 months and they refuse to give me credit and put the phone down on me 4 times. They put phone down on you! Unbelievable. Their service is zero. I have three accounts and will discount all as soon as the contracts are finish.

I am bringing this complaint to everyone’s attention about the service my elderly parents have received by your Talk Talk

A few weeks ago, my Parents were contacted by one of the Representative’s at Talk Talk advising they would connect them to Fibre FREE OF CHARGE.

After 3 visits to their property, they were connected.

24 hours later the Internet stopped working.

My Sister spent over an hour on the telephone trying to resolve the problem which couldn’t be done or rectified.

So… Talk Talk arranged for an Engineer to visit.

He came and said the problem wasn’t at the property but it had to be turned on at Talk Talks end.

My Mother then Talk Talk but nothing was resolved so, she gave up and went back to what she had before and not pursue the Fibre issue.

Later the following, my Parents were called from Talk Talk asking how the Fibre was and how they found how the installation process.

My Mother advised the person from Talk Talk that due to what’s happened, they were not going to bother anymore and to leave it as is as she doesn’t want anymore hassle as her husband is very unwell with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Emphysema.

A week or 2 later my parents received their monthly statement to which they were astonished they had been charged an additional £50 for the privilege visit of the engineer.

At NO point they were told they would have to pay for a visit. They are both 71 but still understand what they are told.

My Parents are really upset over this charge. Especially for something that doesn’t work and the additional boxes installed and upheaval at their home.

My Mother text on live messenger to complain to 3 people who couldn’t help then they ended to call.

    So to round it off…

They were offered Fibre for FREE. They didn’t get it.

They were charged £50 for nothing.

No one seems to be able to help them.

    The latest bill is £82.92

I have personally raised this with the CEO and Talk Talk Messenger and still no resolution.

Please asked you that Talk Talk contact me on the number below as my Mother or Father cannot deal with the stress Talk Talk has caused them.

Surprise Surprise, Talk Talk calls them today. They spoke to my Father who as I said is very unwell. He gave authorisation fir them to discuss the matter with me, BUT it goes against their policy to do so.

    What a bunch of …..

Switched to full fibre which lasted for less than a week before it went down. Cancelled service during cooling down period and went to BT. When I spoke to talktalk's technical dept I was told that they wouldn't fix the broadband becayse I had cancelled the account. However they are still billing me. For a service I am not receiving. They are still billing me for equipment I have sent back to them ( I have proof of tracking numbers). They are still billing me from 23rd Feb even though I am now a BT customer from the 21st Feb. I have spent days ln the phone to these peolle. Tonight havibg plans to attend to some importsnt work, I instead spent best part of tge evening speaking to someone in a different country trying to sort it out. An hour later I had a reminder to pay the amount the iperative I had just spoken to claimed to have got rid of.
Steer clear for the sake of your health.

Horrible experience. I have been with them for a year in my old flat and after one month with engineers coming and not helping with going online it started to work. After this everything was running ok but i have had to move to a new flat. I called them to pay my final fee for cancellation and cancel the contract. They told me to keep my contract with them in my new flat where i was gonna have my connection from the arriving date i said of course it is a good idea. They told me they sent me a router where, first of all i was not living there. Then when i arrived was no router anywere. After that i contacted them for few hours to reach them and one of the guys told me they don't supply connection to my new building, which means they will cancel it. Everything is by call so you never have any proof. And here i am, 6 months later after too many calls where sometimes they rang out or told me yes, i am gonna cancel for you trying to contact them once again to see if they can please stop sending invoices and making me due money for nothing as my credit score is going on **** for their menthal company. I am seriously trying to take them to court as it is absolutely not fair all the time i have lost and all the bad days i have had due to them. So if anyone ask me to go with them. PLEASE NEVER

Very poor customer service. Designed to keep you waiting and frustrated so you cancel your inquiry. Average of 40mins per call.
