My talk talk is suppose to activate today (5/12/19) they didn’t tell me exact time, they only told me that my activation date is 5/12/19. Now it’s 9:00 pm I rang them to tell that there are still no signals and a rude woman replied YOU HAVE TO WAIT TILL 12PM. I understand, but she can tell me in good manners. Totally rubbish customer service .

Disgusting company. I have been trying to cancel my account for 6 months. They even accept and can see it in an email, yet they carry on trying to bill me. Now they have debt collectors involved!

Sick and tired of this stupid internet provider going out for up to half an hour at a time, several times a day. It would be alright if this happened rarely, but it happens every single day and several times. I've literally lost auctions because of how unpredictable this internet is, just for example.

Omg this company is a complete joke the got the company name right talk talk a load of rubbish 6 hour i spent on the phone trying to get box office on and basically told me I cant have box office when its advetised all over the web page joshua fight on 493, then they told me I need to phone sky themselves to get the channel added to my tv they laughed at me because sky cant do that so I phoned them back and they said I could watch joshua fight if I purchased box nation,like a big fight is going to show on there come on uk customer and speak to people in Africa avoid these people they just talk rubbish

Bigest pile of garbage ever!!!!!!!!!!Speeds no where near whatthey say.No english help was difficult to understand every person we contacted whilste getting given the run around.Prices changed halfway through contract.Stay away from talktalk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Its cheap for a reason!!!!!!!

It was fine initially just as thousands of other people have said but useless nowadays. We have tried everything and it is off more than on. So being in a good area all round for connections makes me feel annoyed as paying for a service I don’t get. No internet most of the time! Comes and goes constantly just as everyone seems to be saying. Cannot wait to change provider.

All within 21 days of taking out talktalk broadband and phone services they had been blocking xbox gaming and sites like flickr between 4pm and 6.30pm got that sorted having proved the issue was with them by bypassing the block using a vpn on the pc and for the xbox using mobile data via a hotspot and then the service entirely failed.

4 hours on a Sunday using text/ phone contact and then the same but for 3 hours on the following Tuesday morning and despite having been told that there was clearly a bt open reach box fault nearby (3 openreach vans in attendance for days on end) and despite a change of internal cabling and router by my partner talk talk insited on sending an engineer who could not check the bt openreach box.

Talktalk would appear to employ technical department personnel who ask, after you confirm that your internet and phone service do not work at all, if your wifi is working and despite having been advised what colour lights are on the router they then ask if the router is switched on - seriously that is true they seem to believe that wifi works without an internet signal and that router with flashing lights on may not be switched on!!!

So we figured that we would cancel the contract as we were within our first 30 days and leave the tech guy to go find someone to tie his laces for him.

We are now with a new provider with whom we have had no problems - woo hoo.

Nasty company. We have just moved into a new place. Talk Talk was the company used by the people who lived here before us. They recommended we go with somebody else as they had a bad experience using Talk Talk. We have signed up to a new provider but can't get internet now because Talk Talk have put a block on our line! They are causing as much aggravation as possible.

To cut a long story short, they are terrible, I have spent 3 days trying to sort out my talk talk plus as they said they would be cutting me off on the 30th if I didn't register, they showed me as having an account no. a direct debit set up, and said I was registered. This was after numerous chat agents(where in the world)! who appear not to know what they are doing. The final crunch after 3 days was for them to say they didn't recognise me! So good luck anybody trying to register!

I was told to register with talk talk mail plus as after the 30th, I would lose my e mails, so after numerous chat agents(where in the world) I managed to get registered as I thought, not being told that I had to have a different e mail and password, I eventually got registered and a direct debit set up, so I thought. On the third day after promises from other agents that I could access my account and register my wife's e mail, and after 3 more agents who didn't know what they were doing, I was told that I was not registered with talk talk plus! Unbelievable after having an account no. And a direct debit set up. I have never dealt with any company as bad as this lot, who just don't know what they are doing, so I think I will go to someone who does. Good luck anybody trying to get registered with talk talk!

Absolutely shambolic company to deal with, currently still on the phone after 2 hours of being passed from department to department (that have no knowledge of the previous departments conversations with us!) trying to sort out a router issue that we logged over 2 weeks ago!
Promised during the previous two weeks on two separate occasions that "Oh yes your replacement router will be with you in 3 days time" - didn't turn up either time which has led to this marathon of a telephone conversation. Now currently being told that they have cancelled the previous order due to an error but we have to ring them back in 24-48 hrs to remind them they have to order us a new router........absolute joke of a company!
Myself and my partner both work from home so need connection and it has been unstable throughout this time causing expense to us but no help or understanding from anyone at TalkTalk, disgusting but they do not care one bit!

Supposed to have been getting passed to Management to make a complaint but after another long wait, it seems we have been cut off......awful company, AVOID!

Just picked up a 2 minute 30 second voicemail message from TalkTalk......nothing on it whatsoever, just random noises from the customer service representative on the other end......awesome job guys, well done!!

Unbelievable lack of communication internally for a telecoms company, as previous reviews have said each call to "customer services" will last at least one hour and will resolve NOTHING. It took three months after going live date to finally create a bill which was correct. Five days after the billing problem was finally rectified, they threatened to restrict service because of "late" payment. Ironically the actual BB product itself is pretty good, but the customer service completely lets the company down. If you value your sanity go elsewhere!!!

Not only does Talktalk's connection break off frequently, it's also incredibly slow, has been known to shut off completely for days and the customer service is patronisingly bad.

I've never had more frequent, irritating and life-stalling problems with a broadband provider in my entire life than I've had with Talktalk for the last 9 months.

Terrible customer service,
Been with talktalk for so many years, but I think it's time to move
Was without internet for a week try to get compensation as they promised on their website,
After being on the phone for 1 hour and 10 minutes they offered me 6 pounds,
I took it as an insult,
I was expecting at least 8 pounds per day as they promised

Could not believe when the talk talk engineer came to connect me just how bad he was 1st he stay 10 minutes they left for 3/4 hour then came back for 5 minutes and got a call to some emergency he said he would be back within an hour after 2 hours I phone him when he said I could finish it myself there wasn’t that much left to do ??? Then I phone talk talk who didn’t seem bother I spoke to complaints who said they would look into the problem .... NEVER heard from them again ... luckily my daughter manage to set up the connection even after I went live I still receive emails from TalkTalk saying they had a problem setting me up but were working on resolving the problem ... absolute joke

Without warning they charged me twice the price when complained they add another contract without my knowledge so I ended paying twice when complained again they switched off broadband completely so I am without internet. They promised compensation for overcharging, but they didn't stick to their promises. Very bad experience with talktalk. Going to cancel and put all this nightmare behind me.

This is the worst customer service i've ever had to deal with!
Noone knows how to sort problems, transfers me to different coworkers or even disconnecting me from call! I've spent over two hours on a phone to get nothing done.
Luckily I switched to different provider, I hope they will make better job.
About broundband I can only tell, that it was ok, but after contract ended, the price every month was going up and up and it's not worth it at all. Specially contacting customer service.

The stupid guy said the "supersafe boost is free shall I turn it on?" I said why not. Only to come back 15 months later to see they've been charging for it the whole time even though I never used it. I phoned them up to check the call recording they said they'll check it but they wouldnt tell me if they checked it or no. All they do is bluff bluff and talk about how I'm not gonna recieve it anymore, and a bunch of other crap you wouldnt believe.
You can clearly tell the customer service person is bluffing and lying sometimes. Once you spot them lying they won't admit they'll just say something like glitch.
Ever since I had the Talktalk, since 2011 or something, had problems with them all the time, slow speed. I was supposed to get 37MB/S speed but its never ever reached 30MB/S. Thats supposed to be thier "faster" speed. Once I spoke to them they said 20MP/S is "acceptable speed" so they wont look into it. Speed is only 2MBPS per device half the time with 7 devices.
GOODS: They're cheap when they offer discounts, I can't afford anything else its why im here. If I had money I wouldn't stay. In the end im paying cheap money (its a lot of money to me), then im getting crappy internet and crappy customer service.

These people are liars, cheats, and totally disinterested in achieving customer satisfaction. They lie from the moment you sign up with them to the time when you are finally able to extricate yourself from their evil clutches. Even after they have failed to deliver broadband to you, and lied about the reasons why, they refuse to let you cancel. They will go on billing you completely disregarding your wish to cancel and threaten debt collectors if you don't pay up money they are not owed. People warned me about them before I signed up and I wish I had listened. When they failed to deliver any service to me as promised and I finally cancelled they hounded, threatened and harassed me to the point that I was unable to work, eat or sleep for weeks. In the end I complained to their CEO and said if the continual harassment didn't stop I would issue an injunction and contact the police. I cannot emphasize enough that for the sake of their health consumers must give this evil collection of crooks and charlatans a complete miss. Go anywhere, but avoid Talktalk like the pernicious plague they are.

This is an amateur farce of a provider. I was with them a year and the service was intermittent and totally unreliable. Call centres are all abroad, South Africa and manilla. You'll wait up to an hour to get through and when you do the help given is useless. They'll try and sell you something

Just transferred my broadband account to sky. If anyone suggests to you that talk talk broadband is worth getting..one answer..don't! Extremely poor speeds,the internet itself cuts out when I feels like it, and the customer service is a joke. For the last 12 months I asked them to bill me on my new email address, and for 12 months they neglected to do this, leaving me unclear on my bill. If it went past my date they would instantly cut my b/b and phone.please,please do not entertain this company. You are better off with two tins and a bit of string.

The worst broadband service I've ever had. I was only with BT because they were the only service provider in my area at the time. Unreliable when I had to use them, and then when I rang them to cancel it when I moved... they just didn't cancel it. They charged me for a service I thought was closed for 14 MONTHS and have refused to refund me because they "can't find a record of my call". Instead, they brow-beat me on the phone for 45 minutes bouncing me back and forth, putting me on hold/just leaving me on the line whilst they typed. They couldn't even immediately close my account, I have to wait an extra week to be free of them. Never use them unless there is no alternative, and even if you have to use them... record your calls.

Such terrible customer service. I cancelled my order in March due to poor service. However, I tried switching again to a new provider in November and they have left a historic problem on the Openreach system meaning I can't switch and am stuck with my current provider. Talktalk simply say I have to talk to my new provider. They say the opposite. Raised a formal complaint. No result. Absolutely disgraceful and I am trying to Get Openreach and Ofcom to deal with it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Was with talktalk for 18 months until my contract run out, the WiFi was awful wouldn’t load videos films on Netflix or nowtv would buffer and wouldn’t be a clear picture, as soon as my contract run out they charged me £40 (was £19) when i rang in to complain their systems down and was told they would call back, they never did and I had an extra £30 bill on top of the other £30 in unpaid direct debit bills because they didn’t call back!

My reception kept cutting off. I spent a fortune trying to fix it. The advisors were not generally good at speaking English & passed me from person to person. It continually failed so I phoned to end my contract, again I was passed from person to person (why?). I paid 2 months fees for a service I was unable to use. Despite this, I have just got my third demand for payment. Although breaking their own conditions, they sold my "debt" to a debt collector & although the debt collector conceeded I owed nothing, Talk Talk keep your details & sell the supposed debt to a new debt collector every year - I have just recieved another demand. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. I now use a slightly more expensive friendly British company & have had no problems & a broader service. DO NOT USE TALK TALK THEY ARE BAD IN EVERY WAY!

Avoid Talk Talk don't buy broadband from them.
Ive bought a broadband that should start working on 13 November. Today is 19 November at is still not working. I`ve lost 6 hours spent on phone and chat - no resuls. Service is completly useless and do not help at all. (Be ready to transfering to around 5 different people and book 45min to chat with nothing).
I had to cancel this service and they sent me a bill to pay - for what? Im asking. Is not even started working...
Now I have to wait 14 days for new broadband. Summarizing thanks to Talk Talk I have to wait arounn full one month for a Internet connection. Never buy anything from them becouse they will send you useless broadband and you will have to buy broadban from other supllyer at the end. Wast of time - nobody can refund your personal time but they don care about it.

Speeds are slow (on the lower end of what's advertised), generally reliable. However, the biggest issue with Talk Talk is their customer service. Agents, although generally very nice, have little to no power to actually help; every single enquiry will last at least an hour, often closer to two hours. They will take every opportunity to squeeze as much money from you as possible. They will try to charge you extra or extend your contract as much as possible. They don't expect you to notice or kick up a fuss and they will disregard their own terms and conditions if it means they can try to charge you for another month. We were their customers for almost 2 years. Never again
