Told talk talk twice in the phone call I couldn’t afford to pay it and they could cut me off, so now they’ve taken £67 on my daughters money, and then use the systems are down as an excuse but called back for a different reason and the system if perfectly fine hmm... told them they were stealing my daughters money and they needed to put it back, they said call back in 3 hours!!! As if I don’t have things to do!! Terrible talktalk, will never recommend you to anyone!! Your theifes and I will make sure everybody cancels there talktalk connection and goes better!!! Your **** little theiviving *****

Loyalty could ts for nothing. New customers get new wifi hub for free where us older loyal customers have to pay. I upgraded to fast fibre and expected to be given the new wifi hub as a new fast fibre upgrade member. No chance ! When I asked for one they said I would have to pay. Shocking service.

Less than 'guaranteed' speed of 1.7mbps and wants £75 for me to end the contract!! Embarassment

I first had it fitted with some teething problems such as it dropping when it was working things out. After that I had no issues except with the rrouter. It broke down yesterday. I went on their live chat and after helping me to try to resolve the issue, they sent a new box out. It came today. It works fine. They re reasonably priced and the speed is fine. Customer service was brilliant.

Awful service! I have now left Talk Talk and they own me money, but would not refund. My last month with talk talk was only 11 days of the month, but they told me I have to pay for the full month and then request refund later. I did as I told and guess what - they only refunding me for 10 days instead of 20!!! I have been chatting to people online who I'm sure are just using a pre-approval script of answers or have a list of responses on there screens, I phoned them and manager female was so rude to me, she blamed me as I am making up stories that I never give notice of leaving !!! I have saved my online chat when I did told of leaving them, but manager ignoring me saying I can forward it to her. They are thief's!!

A load off rubbish internet keep cutting out couldn't use WiFi for a few months but my partner still had to pay the few months that we couldn’t use the WiFi the internet speed is **** talk talk is **** going back to sky when contract is up as talk talk is scamming money for leaving I wouldn’t recommend talk talk at all with sky we had no problem go to talk talk and every ****** up not worth the time or day or money

Contacted TalkTalk with regards if I needed to cancel my old provider. One occasion they said that I needed to contact my old provider to cancel. The other didn’t know. So I contacted my provider and they said that they have been informed and everything was in hand. This was only 3 days after agreeing to a change over. Very disappointed with the knowledge and communication. So tempted to cancel and go elsewhere

1. organised wifi to go live on 26/03/19- It didn't go live
2. Rang Talktalk organised engineer to attend on the 29/03 between 8am-1pm rang at 9am to be told that no appt has been scheduled and I would have to wait for an engineer to come on 2/4/19
3. engineer attended and connected wifi.
4. tried to watch Netflix- lagged, buffered, picture quality terrible.
5. received an email from talk talk for a bill of £20 - my normal bill was set up as £17.
6. I rang talk to to say my wifi barely worked and to ask why I was being charged £3 extra. I was told that the charge was for wifi from the 26/3- 31/3 I informed them I didn't have wifi at this time because an engineer didn't come and im not happy to pay bill as the wifi was awful.
7. I was told it was investigated and they would ring back between 2-4pm on 9/4- no-one called.
8. it is now the 10/4 I have rang them as no-one contacted me. I have currently been on the phone for 1 hour 4 minutes.

Hoping the bill thats due to come out on 12/4 will be cancelled but I doubt it will.. I am apparently getting another call on 13/4 but I doubt it.

Also I have been told they did a test and all wifi speed is fine so insinuating that I am lying I guess and im not sat here with laggy buffering wifi that I can only get in the living room.
if nothing is better by the call back this Saturday I will be cancelling and going back to sky.

I've got the new talktalk hub just over a month or so today the hub caught fire, rang talktalk to tell them what happened, after trying to explain to one of their representative, only to be holding on the phone for half an hour I wasn't put on hold the guy was ignoring me until the phone cuts.
Ring them back again speaking to one lady I've told her that the hub they've sent me caught fire, she didn't have a clue what that means. If a person doesn't know what caught fire means they should not be working in any organisation eventually I was put on to someone else who told if I wanted a new hub I would have to pay them £25 one even told me to plug the hub back in so he could run a check on it how dumb can these people be.

Internet channels freeze spoiling entertainment and games online take ages to load then broadband drops out during a game

Took this contract out was one of the worst decisions I made. Two ppl using devices (for social media and google-not films,music..etc) and the speed is socking.So slow we would end up using all of our 4g in the first couple of weeks at home!Complained several times, the cables "were fixed",promised a refund when the internet was down for a whole month and nothing happened! Now my contract ended today and I messaged them (again from 4g as there is no internet-last time I called them I had a bill for £10 for calling them) and all they could say is we apologise but no refund,no compensation and when I told them I want my contract terminated today, they told me it will finish when the new provider takes over and there is nothing they can do!!So after paying for months for nothing I have to pay for an extra week for nothing even tho my contract is finished and I asked them to terminate it!!!
ABSOLUTELY SOCKING!!!
And I was trying up a message (for like 2 mins)to a guy I was chatting to on the site about the contract and he said he hasn't heard from me for a while so he closed the window!but there is a line that appears in bottom of the window when the the other person is typing so he saw that I was writing a message like I saw it every time he was typing!!!
Don't go with this company if u want internet that's all I can say!!

Customer service really couldn't help, they just run a line check and ask you about the setup and tell you there is no problem.
Ping is tolerable but package loss is a real pain of ass!

Absolutely shocking service. Long wait time. My broadband was set to go live on 15 March. After a two week delay, they offered me practically not compensation. I also used the switch service and was informed that I did not need to inform my previous supplier. However, this did not happen and nor was I informed. I therefore ended up paying for two broadband providers at the same time. Lastly I moved due to an offer, which they said I was no longer eligible for as the offer ran out several months ago - the offer is still in their website!!! Don’t waste your time or money. It’s not worth it.

This is one of the worst internet connection I’ve ever used, it constantly freezes or stops working for no reason and it won’t load the pages even when you are connected it will just keep coming up with timed out because the connection is so slow. I would not recommend this broadband to anyone, the customer service is almost as bad.

Words can describe how terrible this broadband is. Can’t even stream a movie on now tv yet they claim it can handle up to 50 devices!! Cheap and nasty. Pay a bit extra and get decent broadband is my advice

Be warned! Do not try to save a few quid on your internet... you will regret it!

The terrible connection speed and connection stability is just one major part of their terrible overall service - but it is NOTHING compared to their incompetent and completely useless customer service team and department. Almost impossibly to reach them through a complicated number of voice and text selections etc only to end up speaking to the wrong department.... then they can't tell you anything about your billing or account or how its been calculated.

bsolutely terrible service. They lie all of the time. Everything is a battle with them. Very rude and in competent people. I was moving home, informed them 2 weeks before and asked them must keep my existing landline because of my business. received confirmation by text and email they will transfer my existing number to new home.Day of moving noticed they disconnected my number giving me new number. phone call lasts over an hour and you get nowhere. They even can not give any reason. Its unnecessarily stressful. Nightmare. Awfull.
Do not deal with talk talk at all.

No problems until it came to the end of my contract. I called to cancel & they didn't cancel it. A week later I had e-mails advising I owed money as I had been put on to a new contract without my knowledge. Had to talk to 4 different people, some calls over 2 hours as I got passed around.

Shocking customer service & staff who clearly require further training. Disappointing end to an actually hassle free year of broadband.

Worst company service I've ever experienced in my life.

Somebody called 'Alice' gave my number to TalkTalk, obviously the wrong number by accident or something. TalkTalk have not stopped phoning and texting me, and giving out my number to their 'engineers' who say they are coming around.

THIS IS ILLEGAL. Because of GDPR you CANNOT keep my details if I have not provided you them.

Called TalkTalk several times, wasting several hours of my time. Always waited at least 15 minutes before someone answered the phone. None of them could speak good English. One woman called Destiny hung up on me, was extremely rude and unhelpful.

They said they cannot remove my number if I am not the account holder. Ridiculous! How hard can it be?! Irritated beyond belief. Tried to block them but it's not possible. This company have really inconvenienced my life and I know I will never use them because of their terrible customer service and downright stupidity.

Talk Talk was voted the worst provider in Which magazine and quite rightly. They are complete useless. I had an email telling me they had upgraded their system and my email hadn’t worked since. Ittnow been two weeks and they couldn’t be less interested. If you use talk talk change now. If you don’t, avoid them like the plague.

So annoyed Right Now With this Company All started from last year i got Talktalk For Family and an account for myself at my own home. But been nothing but problems since

Lets start from the Beginning


So at my Familys address we had Sky Fibre and it was The Best Ever Receiving 88mbps in Speed and Best Services Ever, Reason we left Sky being Sky Wanted 76 pounds after end of Contract Finished with Them....so i shopped round and Found Talk Talk for 20.00 a month...placed order to switch the Services From Sky at First address then Talktalk for no Reason Cancelled the Order saying Sky refused to hand over our Line and Number and tried to get us to fit a new Line which Turned out after speaking to Sky informed me they never even tried to take over the Line and Lied about the Whole Sitution but My family at 1st Address wanted the service So we placed a re order for Broadband and Told them no we do not need addition lines (we already have 2 in a 3 bedroomed House) and the ADSl Fibre line is already Active so Talk talk made us Wait up to a month to send us their Pathetic Router(Rather than using our best awarded Nighthawk Amazon bought Router which is a fantastic peace of kit) so 4 weeks no Internet

2nd Time Round as Go live date approches....Talk Talk Cancel the order...so back on phone....no reasons one operater to another with no clue at this point i was swearing at them with words that would make a Vicar blush!!

So back in the Loop again Reordered...

3 weeks later line live....router out

Throught it would be all over and at 1st address no problems from then service and every resloved


So placed second order for my own property same services


MAAAN WHAT A JOKE!!!

Again line had to fitted yet Engineers never turned up to fit and get services sorted For this Time 6 Whole Weeks...after Consistant Back and Fourth With there Stupid Asian Call Center or India Numerous Call after call to 0845 Number I lost the will to Live but because i Work from Home i needed the Connection.

So eventully a Engineer came Out Who was Smelling of the Pub and Just so Agruementive about where in a 1 bedroom flat the socket after 40 mins telling him i want it in another Room fitted he was Not professional and abrupt but fitted the line.

Go live date was suppost to be next Working Day....Nope try 2 weeks later after Numerous Calls no Internet then coming up to 2018 Christmas i got slow internet speeds and crap customer services...Again Talk talk agent rang me who offered me 3 months Free Services for Faults but because i had Two accounts the Agent Placed the offer on the Wrong account so 4th Jan 2019 Talk talk cut the whole services....By this point i was really losing the will to live

So was now as i wrote this With No full Services (with 2 weeks of services before the cut) and a Bill for 156 pounds every time i mentioned about the offer placed for 3 months free i was informed No notes where on that system And tried to State i had asked or requested that

Following on i checked my credit Score by Clearscore to see Talk Talk had told Experian to give me a negitive Impact result..This is when i let my Anger go Since no Bill was ever Sent to home address and no Services for over 3 months...

I was Furious they could not help them selves to darken my name so i let loose in a call today which Took over 3 hours of 0845 charges


After being put pillar to post i informed them of the Whole issues and heard every excuse going until i ordered them to Check both accounts

They Noticed after 6 months of hassle the error and backed down Reversed the fees and told me i will be re connected in a hour (8.00) the time now is 11.00 uk time and still no Connection


I cannot Wait to Contact Fisas and Ofcom monday

Talktalk boardband is the worst boardand ever the wifi never works its so slow it says connected but we receive no wifi where paying for a boardband that doesn't even work. We tried to leave them as our contract hasn't finished we have to pay awfl a lot of money to leave them. i would never recommend talktalk boardband to anyone. Once we leave talktalk we would never join them again.
Spoke to customer service about this issuse and they didn't even take this matter seriously and didn't even do anything about it.
So were stook with them until our contract ends!!!!!!!

Awful customer service / tech support, no ability to limit specific devices access to wifi.

I tend to change my supplier each year, in last 4 years having been with Virgin, BT and Plusnet. The broadband supply from Talktalk is fine, decent speed and rarely lose service. Two main issues though:

Unlike BT and Plusnet it is not possible to rename a device connecting to your wifi and then manage its access to wifi. This was a great benefit with BT and Plusnet, it meant that i could turn off access to wifi for my children's devices each night. This alone will mean that i will not continue with Talktalk when my contract ends.

Awful tech support/customer service. I lost broadband on Saturday morning only restored on Tuesday. The tech support team (I spoke to 4) all follow the same script, each step seeming to be to get you off the phone for a while.
Call one, day one resolution: "Turn off the modem for half an hour" and phone back if its still not working.

Call 2, day 2, "attach a microfilter to the line (even though the service has worked for 4 months without a microfilter), I didn't have one so they said they wouldn't do anything else until I had received one in the post (still hasn't arrived 3 days later), rather than wait I went out and bought one, unsurprisingly didn't help.
Call 3, day 2, unpleasant unhelpful person, kept talking over me, ignored everything I said, resolution 3, find a screwdriver and take the front off the socket to try the microfilter in the test socket, at this point I asked to move to this being a complaint over how my problem was being handled..
Call 4, complaints team....same checklist for resolution as above, would not do anything until the front of the socket had been removed, I refused as there still no reason to suspect that the socket had suddenly failed with no reason. resolution here to send an engineer 2 days later, threats by phone and text over a £65 fine if not in when engineer called at arranged time.

Day 4, engineer arrives late. wonders why tech support had been insisting on a filter in the test socket. instead resets the modem, service works again, problem resolved, a few minutes work after 4 days.

The tech support team can only seem to follow a script a set troubleshooting pathway, not interested in listening to the circumstances or actually thinking about what might be the cause.

Appalling company. I was without broadband for over a month, engineer didn’t turn up on appointment day. When I asked for compensation for the extra amount I’d spent on data etc I was told to write to head office with details. Over 2 months later I’ve just gone round in circles and told that I shouldn’t have been told that as they would never compensate for this! SO much time wasted on all of this. Hours on the phone and writing letter with details. Nothing is worth dealing with this company, don’t touch with a barge pole.

Worst Broadband provider for customer service and use. Multiple drop outs, speed restrictions and the router connection being intentionally disconnected by their system at certain times. Despite multiple conversations the foreign call centre staff still can't grasp the concept Speed isn't total data usage over time! I am on in their own words an unlimited uncapped plan, yet I'm told on numerous occaisions when my connection or streaming stops or i lose connection completely that I have exceeded my data usage for the month because I have downloaded or streamed too much. They state over 30gb-60gb etc in that period. My plan is stated as uncapped and unlimited so they are lying and are too stupid to understand they are openly admitting it. My download speed is limited to 5-6mb/s and I live alone and only stream one device at a time in 1080p HD max so there shouldn't be any issues at all speed wise no matter how much data I've used over a month a day a min or a year! A watchdog governing body needs to stop them doing this and misleading customers illegally. I signed a legally binding contract for 'unlimited' 'uncapped' broadband and are breaking the law by capping my usage. Do not ever use this company if you have a choice.

It’s one of the worst broad band services.
All over year I have experienced poor connection and connection drop outs.
Customer services is far more worst than imagination.
I have vacated my property , they are asking me to transfer my account to who ever coming to property next ?? What ??
How in this whole world would I know who is coming next in to the property I am vacating.
I tried to speak to them many times. They keep on transferring calls to other departments. Each time I spend more than an hour over phone - result nothing.

I would definitely say a very big No to talk talk - It’s frustrating and useless , waste of money and time.

My experience with talktalk is beyond words!!
Vile telephone helpline impossible to speak to anyone when you do get through you’re put on hold or hung up on. The email service seems to be run by computer or apes that could not answer one question or acknowledge anything stated in emails. Charges added all over the place payment system that fails then charges you for late payment
