    Avoid like plague! Worst service I have ever seen. The broadband never worked. It actually took more than 10 calls to get it cancelled and I was still charged inspite of being within 14 days

    Utter rubbish, since day 1, I have had issues with this service. They sent me an extender to boost my signal and still it does nothing but drop out!

    I have asked to be released from my contract as it’s not fit for purpose and today they asked me to start undoing the faceplate on the BT Open reach socket - this should not be expected of customers. AMD still they won’t let me leave, instead promising yet again to fix the issue

    I really don't recommend Vodafone broadband. The signal fall day to day. Call to customer service is the same than nothing. All weekend without signal and also we need to wait to thay call us to arrange a visit. Is a Shame, so mamy days without signal but the bill will be the same, it is not being reflected in the bill. Poor service, speed, signal and attention. I pretty recommend EE boadband as your option before than Vodafond.

    Absolutely terrible, avoid at all costs. Vodaphone are probably the worst ever broadband AND phone provider I have had the misfortune to encounter. I have been a customer with them for 16 years and have only stayed because of their extensive network coverage. To date I have had to virtually sue them for their appalling customer service. The Ombudsman found in my favour and I was awarded £1000! from Vodaphone. Mistakenly I took out their broadband thinking they had improved. They have not. The broadband is appalling, constantly drops out and half the time doesn't even work at all. In spite of raising yet another complaint I am unable to actually contact Olivia who is mean to be from the Directors Office and who claims to be handling my complaint. The reason being, that all of the customer service agents I speak to cant understand me, cant speak English and read literally from an autocue! In desperation today I tried to raise a complaint on live chat but no I was told that I now have to start a fresh complaint as the old one has expired!! So now I am stuck with 2 phones costing me £100 per month and broadband that is so useless we don't even bother trying to use it and have instead reverted to using our EE hub which is brilliant. I am now in the process of cancelling my broadband and raising yet another complaint with the Ombudsman because Vodaphone wont listen to me. If you are considering Vodaphone DONT!!!! they are frankly appalling!

    Ever since we have switched to Vodafone our broadband has been ridiculously slow, don’t want to help when you call them, even went as far to tell my husband he was lying.
    Won’t even pla6 Netflix.
    Supposed to get 55 MB/S but is often 3-10
    Just not good enough.

    Absolutely awful was meant to go live on 7th...10 days later still waiting...is one lie after another as to why they can't go live with the line. Apparently 1st engineer was competent and neither was the more senior engineer they booked in...now they are sourcing 3rd engineer. Customer service is pot luck...whilst polite are here messengers with no technical knowledge. Suggest if you switch have a 2 week overlap with providers...

    A friend who works from home and has moved to Vodafone is too weary of dealing with incompetent people at the company so I have written this on his behalf in total disgust. Even their complaints people are useless. So where do you go!?

    my broadband is provided by italk i have no signal upstairs and it goes off all the time i can hardly hear anyone on the house phone i cant get 1471 or the answering service and when i ring them all they say is buy a booster

    Diabolical Service from Vodaphone - I wish I had never arranged a switch.
    I arranged for my 83 year old mother to switch to fibre broadband from Plusnet (unable to do online banking with slow speeds on Plusnet)
    The switch was supposed to take place on the 18th October.
    All the external work was done weeks before the switch date.
    On the 18th October an Engineer turned up to complete the internal work - causing quite a lot of disruption. The engineer was unable to complete the switch because of the shoddy job done ny Openreach outside the property .Apparently the cable hadn't been spliced properly. So my mother was left with furniture out of place,
    I contacted Vodaphone on the chat who assured me that she would be connected within 24hrs.
    The 24 hrs came and went and no contact from anyone. I contacted Vodaphone again on chat who tried to baffle me with the report from Openreach. I was assured that it would be sorted asap, and that she would get £5 a day compensation!!
    Last week a phonemail from Openreach to say that they would be completing the work today (November 7th) An engineer has attended and once again has had to call for back up
    Not once in the three weeks since the first engineer attended have Vodaphone been in touch
    Their customer service is absolutely non existent - or they will lie to you so that they can finish the chat

    Terrible customer service! I can’t give any stars for the Broadland speed or reliability because I still don’t have the broadband set up after waiting for two weeks. I’ve had to call vodaphone many times and after lengthy conversations they still aren’t able to send an engineer out to set up my broadband.

    Idiots can't even take over a running line to start the service, leaving us without any broadband for days.

    An absolute regret and shame that we signed to them.

    Absolutely shocking, internet keeps dropping out, the worst bit is the customer service, had the worst customer arrive ever with my phone contract and now this. Lee telling you there’s nothing wrong when it blatantly isn’t working. Wouldn’t go with Vodafone again if they paid me. Don’t be stupid and stay away from this shambles of a company

    AVOID!! Worst Internet provider I've ever used.. No technically support team to talk to just customer services who have no clue and fob you off for days with 2-24 hours it can take to reconnect after cutting me off for no reason bills paid.. Now on 3rd day and still no broadband or technical team to sort it..load of rubbish speed isn't what they made out when taking it either over all just a pile of crap AVOID!!

    AWFUL cancelled after a week but now no other provider can connect me because of Vodafone’s complete uselessness. I now have to wait till I return the hardware before the cancellation goes through before anyone else can provide my fone and broadband. Absolute joke company, advise anyone thinking of using them to avoid like the plague.

    If you do a speedtest all is well. Fantastic speeds up and down.
    The reality of the service, however, is much different.
    I think it’s largely down to the router: I’ve had to buy an ASUS router because the wireless on the broadband router goes up and down constantly. You certainly can’t watch a film or play a game or do a Skype call.

    You really should avoid.

    Think carefully before using this company. Yes they’re cheap, but Customer Service is overseas and unfortunately abysmal. Mostly polite, but completely ineffective even with the basics. My rating is actually ZERO stars.
    My girlfriend recommended Vodafone. She has been with them a year without issue. So there are some success stories. Mine isn’t one of them.
    To try to keep it simple -
    5/1 Signed up online and chose an installation date and time - 21/1/19 am. Provided instructions for the BT engineer to obtain access (through next door neighbour)
    8/1 Vodafone customer service telephoned to say they couldn’t honour that appointment and abruptly tried to force an inconvenient one onto me - 23/1/19 pm I refused to accept it, and said I was at work with a client and couldn’t discuss the matter at that time. She said someone would call me back.
    8/1 Nobody called but I received numerous emails confirming the date I had refused.
    9/1 I telephoned and rearranged the date - 24/1/19 am. I received no email confirmation but instead continued to receive emails confirming the other date.
    16/1 Router arrived.
    18/1 Second router arrived!
    19/1 I was concerned so telephoned. I was advised not to worry and that my appointment was still arranged for 24/1. I was sent a text confirming this. I was advised to keep the second router as a spare.
    24/1 Appointment date but no engineer arrived.
    24/1 Email received informing me that broadband couldn’t be activated and I would receive a call.
    26/1 Call received from Vodafone. Apparently the engineer couldn’t gain access. They had not been advised to go to my next door neighbour, nor had been provided with my accurate telephone number. Date rescheduled for 6/2/19 am. I reiterated the access instructions and confirmed my neighbours address. I received a text confirming the revised date.
    By now I’m feeling absolutely exasperated but allow them one final chance.
    6/2 NO ENGINEER!! I telephoned to be informed there was no record of the 6th and installation was actually down to be the 11th! I mentioned that I had on my phone a text from Vodafone clearly stating the 6th. Customer Services said they had absolutely no record of this.
    AT THAT POINT I GAVE UP and cancelled on the spot. They politely accepted my cancellation. No efforts to apologise or explain their total incompetence.
    I am now the proud owner of two useless Vodafone routers and wondering if I might still actually receive a visit from an engineer on the 11th. Really wouldn’t surprise me.
    I just wonder how it’s possible to mess up so badly, and then actually (politely) imply each time that it’s the customer’s fault? By the way, Vodafone DON’T pay compensation for missed appointments.

    We decided to switch from BT to Vodafone on the tariff offering the £90. Amazon voucher through Broadband Genie. Here are the issues we've had, decide for yourself if they are issues for you:
    The website would not allow us to log-in. Perhaps it takes several days for new customers to be able to use the site? That seems ridiculous.
    We tried calling and were sat on hold for a very long time. When they finally answered we said we wanted to cancel and they transferred us.... to a dead line. I'm sure it was just a mistake :|
    The most important issue for a lot of people involves your credit rating. For some reason Vodafone does a hard credit search which will tank your credit rating for up to 180 days. Absolutely disastrous in some situations.
    We ended up staying with BT. It was the old, "I'm changing supplier" phonecall which ends with you being given a much better deal.

    VF were great when I first moved to them; then came the random 'drop-offs'. Didn't realise price would rise by £5 at end of contract (also coincided with a dramatic reduction in broadband speed).
    In all honesty, I think a snail is quicker (just checked speed & it is 4.67mbps) - it's a joke at £34.95 a month.
    Currently looking for a new ISP.

    I ordered Broadband through vodaphone as every contract we already have with them.

    From the start there was poor communication from Vodaphone cancelling the order on TWO separate occasions, with this they kept sending openreach engineers whilst they was told that nobody was available until a certain date.

    The service has been extremely poor, to which we have now cancelled the broadband service and we are now considering moving our phone services to another provider.

    Worst experience of switching to a new broadband provider. Easy set up, quick delivery before the switch date, then a rediculously bad experience. The speed, which was previously 35mbps with BT is now 0.6 mbps with Vodafone. I have spent every day on live chat with them which takes a half hour to get through to someone, and livechat was used as I held for 40 mins on the phone and didn’t get through to anyone. I’ve been advised to change my channel, advised to wait 24 hours, they reset some settings, advised to connect items by Ethernet instead, advised to disconnect everything and just use one device. Vodafone have now lost my business and it is atrocious that they are even allowed to offer broadband as a service.

    Been with them for 2 months following their promise of speed or discount. But all I've had is an unstable internet service and promised from multiple people who must just follow the same old script that still won't resolve the issue. Online chat, phoning and emailing gets you nowhere. Trust me if you're getting good enough broadband don't consider moving just because the price looks good. You will regret moving to Vodafone!!

    Installation for the internet was a day late, they compensated us with "a free permanent internet boost" but we ended up with internet that can barely download a 10gb game in one night, and internet that shuts down for a day every 2 or so months.

    Found out that my broadband speed was under the promised limit for over a year and they offered 15% discount going forward and then had a patronising lead adviser not even bothered to listen to what I had to say.

    Just cancelled my contract with them on installation day due to the fact they are now saying the broadband would not be ready for around 2 weeks so no connection to the internet for 2 weeks! This was due to openreach not confirming a date with Vodafone but this was only checked when I called at 17:30 on the day the installation day as I had not seen my current Plusnet connection drop or had any contact from Vodafone. So now I have to call my work and explain that I cannot work for 2 weeks due to no internet connection! I am going to lose a lot in wages or have to use my annual leave, to say I'm angry with Vodafone is an understatement! Be aware they have dealt with my transfer from plusnet and gave me an installation date and therefore a termination of my old contract date but never checked to see if they could actually achieve this until I called! They are totally incompetent! Broadband is now an essential part of life especially when you have to work from home. Please be aware of Vodafone and hopefully you will not get into a situation like me.

    Vodafone have been utterly incompetent in most aspects of the set up and [non] execution of my fibre broadband service. 3 dates were given, each one assuring me that today was going to be the day when, finally, I would be 'activated'. 3 times I was disappointed. No more. I hope they cancel my broadband order more efficiently than they activated it. Customer Service were pleasant, but useless AND HOPELESS. Vodafone, never, EVER again. DO NOT SIGN UP

    As many already stated here, do not bother switching to Vodafone NO MATTER WHAT GREAT OFFER THEIR GIVE YOU!

    They lied and missold their Mifi device to me; they canceled my broadband order without telling me, forcing me to get a new one over the phone, more expensive.
    Then, they sent the router to the wrong address, despite my calls to change the delivery address and despite their confirmation emails.
    Then, they overcharged my hundreds of £ for an usage of the Mifi device that they missold to me.
    Then, OpenReach came to fix the line 3x but the line was still not fixed. By that point, it was already 2 MONTHS we had been waiting for internet!

    After calling their customer service and being told that the problem was still at OpenReach, while OpenReach was saying the problem was now with Vodafone, I gave up! I decided to cancelled my broadband contract with them.

    I called their customer service to cancel and it was all over.... OR NOT!
    They didn't actually cancel my contract even though they confirmed that to me over the phone. Since then, they decided that my broadband worked and started charging me for it (even though it NEVER worked and by then I was already with Virgin).
    I had to go to a shop to fix that and return my router.

    A week later, they debited me £67 for absolutely NO REASON! They couldn't give me a reason why they debited me that amount. But then they sent me a letter to invoice me £127 of cancelling fees on top of that!!!!

    Over 3 months of nightmares with Vodafone, I had 4 DAYS of Mifi and that's it.
    But they debited me £114 in total and invoiced me for £240 more which I managed to contest!

    They steal and they lie.
    For a major communication company, I find this outrageous that their horrible service is not being discussed. TO AVOID AT ANY PRICE!

    Don't do it. The absolute WORST provider bar none. The customer service will have you tearing your hair out and the tech support (all based overseas) are a joke. Speeds are very restricting and connection unstable. Have resorted to contacting the CEO for help before taking to Ofcom.

    Switched over from bt about 3 weeks ago. Nothing but problems. Constantly slow and dropping out although the Vodafone app says my sync speed is high. Customer service are friendly, but hopeless constantly saying they will call you back, wait 48 hours, then repeat the same checks again and again. Got so frustrated today after another 30 minutes on the phone I cancelled my broadband! Avoid!!!!

    Tried to order pro 900 gigafast broadband to start using recent cityfibre line. The first order I made went through and I received the equipment. However apparently my installation booking did not and no one came to install it on prebooked date. I have reordered once again to only find out after 2 days that due to technical issues my order did no go through, despite receiving all documents and contract details. Only imagine how bad service would be if such company cannot even process orders correclty. It's been 3 weeks since 1st order and they were supposed to collect their equipment but are failing to provide return labels. I guess they don't really need it then. Well if I could I would givd zero throughout. Do not even think about vodafone or you will get very disappointed.

    WARNING Do not order Broadband from Vodafone they cant take on my phone number as im now with BT as Vodafone are aBysmal and useless so please phone BT now on 0800800030 as they are cheaper than Vodafone too!
