Extremely disappointed by the service no broadband for 6 out of the last 30days. Customer care should be called customer neglect, very difficult to speak to someone and when contact is made often get cut off. Considering EE is in the communication business they have a lot to learn but as a major player in the industry I don't think that they care.I have given my notice to these jokers.

This is digusting broadband, too slow for any useful purpose. I am sick of complaining to their idea of customer services. Reall bad broadband. cannot watch a video and basic internet functions are slowed down to a level that means they virtually do not work. Too slow to even use one device properly. Literally!!
DO NOT CONSIDER EE AS A BROADBAND PROVIDER!!! It is truely terrible!

Ordered EE Fibre before reading any reviews but I needn't have worried. Modem came on date promised. Was installed on date promised (they did all the switching for me) Speed was better than promised and finally tv box came on promised day. Excellent service with which I am well pleased

I can't give a star rating for broadband speed and reliability as I didn't get that far.
Promised that they would try to get me fibre and would call me if there was a problem.
No call, cancelled my current service and I've had to use mobile data to get internet.
No apology or acceptance or responsibility for leaving me with no broadband despite complaints. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely shocking. Cuts out every 10 mins, send an engineer twice who 'cannot find a fault'. Told that it will settle down, has been 4 months and still doesn't work properly. Customer advisor says it's probably because I'm trying to download too many things at once which is not the case. Would highly recommend using someone else.

After reading all the negative EE reviews about service, connection and what really killed it for me was data managment in place I looked elsewhere for broadband and even rang BT to see what they could offer my as my contract had ended with them to be told, as I am an existing customer I could not have the big flashy prices they were now offering. So decided to again look elsewhere and kept coming back to EE, the prices were very good for complete package of phone and broadband. So decided to go for it and made the order online also got quidco cash back, so went for it. I was shocked how quickly I got an emailed stating that my order was accepted, within a few days again I was updated on my order and given a switch over date - so far so good. New router arrived as per the email, switch over day came and had a txt around 7:30am to confirm it was done. Sure enough connected router and checked phone line, all working - initial speed was as per my BT connection 20 up and about 6 down, so far so good same speeds and im saving about £14 each month great. After a few days speed fluctuated slighty and was getting upto 27 up and about 6 down - good stuff. After some reserach I decided to upgrade the router, network cables and also the BT master socket in the house. Ok the router was not cheap, but thought worth a gamble...and wow suddently im getting solid 34-38 down and 9-10 up, I cannot see any evidence of data mangement so far. Im now a month in and touch wood all good, speed is constant. I am more than aware if I ever have to call EE thats when this will all be put to the test, but I am happy thus far and have no complaints over the service provided - maybe im just lucky?!

BE WARNED A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! AVOID EE. Finally come to an end of a 12 month contract with EE and it has been the worst home broadband company I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Unable to use any device at anytime for the past 12 months and have spent hours/days going through the same test procedures with Indian call centre who on over a dozen occasions was promised call backs that never happened. I finally spoke to a UK call centre who couldn't have cared less. Thankfully I have unlimited tethering with Three mobile so I could work from home on a faster 3G signal than the broadband I was paying for. I was was with a company called Primus before with no problems. Poor beyond belief and unable to exit my contract unless I paid in full for the remaining term! AVOID

Be very careful with EE broadband.I'm unfortunately stuck with EE for another 2 years (waiting for FTTC to come to my area) and I have to say I can't wait to leave them because their service is awful. I tried to report a fault to them but they ignored what I said and gave me the same useless troubleshooting methods which don't actually help at all and is just an excuse for them to say they "tried to help". They won't fix the fault because they are waiting for FTTC to fix the problem which saves them money and hassle of contacting openreach who manage the exchange. The connection itself is terrible, it's unreliable with spikes in ping and packet loss which occur every day and happen more than once.

So if your thinking of going with EE think again.

Increasingly poor quality signal and slower speeds. It has got to the point it is unusable for gaming. Made worse by slow response from customer case at EE. Off to look for a better provider.

Avoid EE broadband. Worst WiFi I’ve ever had. Constantly drops connection even to devices in the next room from the router. Parents also have EE broadband in a different area and they’ve had exactly the same experience.

EE Broadband is the worst I have ever had. Frequently it is impossible to log on. Download speeds, as others have said here, is excruciatingly slow. Emailing is sometimes impossible. Streaming is impossible with constant buffering and freezing. When you make a call to what EE calls it's customer service department you may as well spot in the wind for the good that it does. This company cannot be trusted, it's product is lousy, it's support mechanism is flooded. In a nutshell AVOID at all costs!

I cannot find the words to describe my frustration and anger at how awful this company is and how useless and unusable EE broadband is. I have just managed to get it to work after 48hrs of no internet AGAIN! THIS IS THE 16TH TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED IN 4 MONTHS!! I sometimes cannot even log on. When it works....WHEN...it is appallingly slow and I often use my mobile phone instead. My previous ISP's gave me non of these problems. EE's service department always have an excuse buy no reason and the promises that where made to me when I signed up for this EE contract have nowhere near been met. I( will never use EE again. AWFUL COMPANY!!!!!

Changed from Sky to EE on 31/10/16 and immediately broadband signal poor. Told to wait 10 days to settle but remained poor. Very long story short, To date 29/12 I've had a new router, an EE engineer, BT Engineer plus 2 BT resets plus many long phone calls. After the BT Engineer and resets the speed was 3mbps enabling me to watch iPlayer and use Internet but the speed drops off and Internet needs resetting after 2/3 days.

EE webpage states speed up to 17mbps on the basic package which is suitable for a small households with 2/3 appliances. This matched my requirements and I paid for 18 months upfront. It's only when you get the acceptance email that there is a clause stating the minimum speed will be 1mbps. My current speed is 1.40mbps.

I don't know what broadband speeds I've had over the past 6 years with different providers. I've always taken the cheapest, basic option and not had any problems. So I've never checked.

EE state that as they are providing a speed of just over 1mbps they are fulfilling their contact. I can't cancel the contract. I have been offered fibre optic at additional cost.

Following yet another 2.5 hour phone call today ending with a conversation with an obnoxious Manager I'm a very disgruntled customer. If Sky could provide an adequate service using the BT line (which has now been renewed and replaced) why can't EE provide the same?

Not worked since I have had it and I got it January this year (2016) called and called to get it sorted and nothing was meant to send an engineer out didn't come tried to cancel I couldn't without having to pay for the hole year and was meant to get a call out by been waiting about 2 months and nothing only an email off bt saying they would contact me soon still nothing now keep getting bills when it's meant to be on hold until the problem is resolved all I can suggest is never go with EE everyone I know has problems might be cheap but still not worth the money.

I've been with EE mobile for years and just joined Home Broadband Fiber 38mbps/dl. The speed is the same as my previous provider, there are small problems I noticed:

    - Ping is higher compared to Sky (lower the better)
    - Speed is more stable with Sky
    - Extra 5gb data is not automatically added to your mobile contract
    - Hidden Charges! They didn't say there's a month in advance.
    - be aware of shipping and a connection charge of £50 if you don't have BT fiber line. I do have this and still they charged me £25. Sky gave me this free for being a loyal customer.

EE customer service is terrible, once i have paid my bill and my internet should be up and running it never is. So I call up and the phone number keeps on cutting me off. It's very frustrating and I would defiantly not go with EE!! I am also paying for the EE TV and that doesn't work either !! It's terrible as the TV channels don't work and the wifi never comes back on !!! Do not rate EE at all.

If you have a problem with EE broadband speed, particularly upload, replace the terrible bright box 1 router. I started using the technicolor I got from SSE 3 years ago and the problem with unusable slow upload has disappeared. I feel sorry for the people working on the customer service line. They can't say that the supplied router is rubbish and you need to use something else to get reasonable service.

Used EE for phone installation and broadband in new build property due to outstanding value (unlimited broadband, free weekend calls, prepaid line rental discount, £100 Amazon voucher, half price line installation, free Norton anti-virus means I only pay £5.66 month). Slight issue with initial online order where only phone was setup, but customer support honest enough to admit their error and broadband followed initial phone line installation 7-days later. BrightBox router easy to setup. ADSL speeds OK for my distance from phone exchange; I only need eMail / web / software download / YouTube so ~6Mbps adequate. Cannot fault the value and so far service has been reliable

Called to enquire about renewal options.

Excellent professional service and realistic, honest advice given. Renewed on the same plan for 18 months.

While on the call the person I spoke to picked up (from the diagnostic information they had access to) there was a potential issue which, when correlated with EE engineers was confirmed as a potential line fault. Issue reported to BT Openreach. I had noticed that my Broadband had been acting up and so problem solved.

    Very pleased.

Shocking, always has been! Very poor quality broadband - slow and unreliable. Keeps dropping out, Recommend avoiding them - the cheap packages will cause you stress and hours on the phone trying to sort, then it's always the same having to run line tests etc and magically a few days later the service improves. Albeit until the next Time....
Currently sat for 30 mins on hold trying to sort out so what better time than to write a review!

Appalling customer service. I would not use EE again. I took advice well in advance of moving house about the options of transferring the service to my new address, transferring my current service back to my landlady and setting up fibre in my new house. Every piece of information I was given by phone was incorrect. This included how to transfer an account into a new name, the notice period required (I was told none several times but have now been charged both for 14 days and a disconnection fee). New contract was mis-sold both by price and coercion (customer service agent lied about price plan changes that were due the following day). When I finally cancelled everything and made a complaint the customer service team could be heard heckling and whooping in the background. Completely unethical business with no interest in customer satisfaction. Also takes 20 minutes to get through by phone and several of their advertised numbers are routinely cut off once you've got through if they are busy.

I would like to award EE Broadband zero stars because that is what it deserves! Devastatingly slow to the stage of being almost unuseable! Difficult to log on to, extremely slow downloads of under 2m/ps, unable to stream, unable to send emails with picture attachments at times, unable to download complex sites. This isn't on!!! I was mis sold this package, otherwise I would never have committed myself to 18 months. My only advice to everybody who is considering a broadband package is DO NOT CONSIDER EE FOR BROADBAND!!!!! NEVER!!!

One word - BUFFERING. If you enjoy watching that lovely circle turning in the middle of your screen go with EE. Absolute rubbish. Don't do what I did and ignore the reviews to save yourself a couple of quid every month. Stay clear!

EE have become very poor in all areas that I have been unfortunate enough to bare witness to.
Their internet speed is ok when it works and is fine to stream using Youtube but it intermittently goes down for several hours at a time with no known cause. I expect more than this from my isp! I left talktalk because they were even worse, now EE are slowly sliding down the same route that talktalk did: Too many customers, not enough of the customer's money put into the infrastructure necessary to provide the customers with the reliable experience they expect for the amount of money they are paying.
I left EE's phone network because their pricing structure was designed so that I had to spend at least £15 a month to get usable internet. If you opt for the £10 option, you get 10mb a month (yes, that's right, 10mb in 2017!) of internet for your smartphone. my phone uses that communicating with the fb server once. 10mb is an insult and is the reason you no longer receive any money from me for mobile services. I expect better service than this for the money I am paying and if you won't provide it, I WILL go elsewhere. If you don't have the infrastructure to take on new customers then build new infrastructure or stop taking on new customers.

    Rubbish service.
EE has to provide a minimum of 3.4Mbps but sometimes, in the evenings, is less than 0.19Mbps (even 0.08 as well). They do not accept to brake the contract but want you to pay till the end of the contract. They know that speed is out of T&C's but they know as well that it will cost time and money to follow the legal procedure. (Crooks)
