    1) Without knowing us they keep increasing monthly charges.
    2) Try to make fool to engaged with them for next contract without saying it but says benefits in phone which is actually not any change in the speed.
    3) customer service is worse. Sent engineer to fix disconnection issues but he did not do anything and said stupid reason and charged £40 which is not fair at all. No refund as well.
    4) in my area speed never goes more than 70mbps
    5) if you get any issues in internet , customer care nothing do apart from your router restart . No make sense

    For over two months I have been complaining to talktalk about slow and unreliable broadband. Eventually sent me a new router. Now (when internet is working) download speed max's out at 1.8 mbps and upload runs at 0.8 mbps. No signs of receiving better service so a switch is on the cards for 2022. Any reccomendations gratefully received.

    This is not on the whim review. I have been a TalkTalk customer for the last 2 years and these are my final thoughts.

    They have some of the lowest prices for broadband and telephone lines. But if you are someone who regards customer service as an important part of your experience, or expect their technical people to HAVE technical knowledge or DO NOT expect a telephone provider to have a noisy and crackling customer service line, then look away and look somewhere else. TalkTalk is not that company.

    Their staff would lie to you, give you confusing information and follow it up with a different set of information in an email. In the past two years, I've been on the phone with them about 5 times for different problems and every time I was on the phone for anything between 3 to 5 hours (which is like a whole day) because I had to bang my head against many brick wall before they could understand or resolve my issue.

    I don't know what other companies are like. They all promise the world I guess but how much they deliver I can't say. But I CAN say for sure about TalkTalk that they don't deliver their promise. If nothing goes wrong in the service then your ok but it if it does then you will know what I am talking about.

    Overall absolute rubbish, the broadband package i am on is Fibre 65, supposedly download speed of 65, i get around 30-32 which is slower than it was with Sky, who i was with last. And Talktalk TV, when i rang to go through setting up the TV box with them they refused to help as i had bought myself a box that records broadcasts (not just views them), and even though the box i bought was a Talk Talk box, branded and labelled Talk Talk they refused to help as it wasnt the box they had provided for me. I tried tuning the TV got 10 channels, they advertised around 80 channels, so not even bothered doing that, their tv reciever is sat its box waiting to go back once the contract is up! As soon as my contract is up i am leaving them and wont go back that's for sure

    One of the worst broadbands I’ve come across, customer service is shockingly terrible, the guy I talked to had no idea what he was doing and could hardly understand what I was saying, (I’m english), I’ve been waiting over 2 weeks for my broadband to get activated (I work from home so it really effected me), they told me I needed emails and such so they can contact me but how am I suppose to do that when my internet isn’t activated, to be honest I’ve never had a worse experience than this and honestly is not worth the time and money

    Been with Talktalk for a long time. Upgraded to FTTP with 3 months free. They are convinced I am still on normal broadband. They keep crediting my account every month with random amounts that is always more than I should be paying. I have tried to tell them about their error but they tell me I am not on 500Mb speed only on 35Mb. At the moment they are paying me to have a 500 Mb connection. Well I am not telling them again. Free FTTP 500 Mb connection. What's not to like lol.

    Talktalk’s customer service is shocking! Called them like 4 times in the past week And they still haven’t resolved the issue!!! I tried to get my new super fast fibre internet installed had an appointment on 7th of december got a text day before that my order has been delayed, gave them a ring and I have been told they moved my appointment from 7th of december to 9 th and that I don’t have to be at home….absolute joke ! The same day I got a message saying engineers could Enter my House without a permisson well DUH… I did mention to talktalk member that I wont be at home between that time be he kept repeating I don’t have to be!!!!!!! On third time they told me to book a new appointment next day so I called and I been told to Call after 16 th of december!!! I was fuming I am going to cancel my order as I Lost my patience at this moment and I will not extend my contrAct !!!!!

    First time I signed with them things were decent(with wi-fi drops pretty constant). After I changed address they started acting incompetent. From the booking, in which they misjudged me not needing an engineer, after which they kept going with it for almost a month(postponing).
    Since almost 2 months ago I have to pay extra money out of my pocket to get extra data so I can hotspot, I get about 15-20 minutes of the WORST Wi-Fi you can get, after which I need to go back to hotspot.
    They are utterly useless and unreliable and such a pain
    to deal with. Please, stay away.
    Lost so much more extra time and money because of them.

    We have had enoughof dealing with this company. Customer Service based in Durban S.A. Best described as Bolshy, Unhelpful, Arrogants, timewasters. Even a direct email to their CEO Tristia Harrison resulted in no action. Contract cancelled.A fish rots from the head down.

    Been with talk talk for 18 months not the faster speed but very reliable . End of contract coming up gave a months notice and was told I need to pay another months joke

    Terrible service. engineer came to house - agreed there was a problem but went away and did nothing, no record on our account of his visit. A month later have spent 2 1/2 hours on phone to customer services. DO NOT USE TALK TALK

    Absolutely shocking customer service was ment to have engineer come 23rd nov no one turned up then they have the front to charge me extra for services equipment still in boxes so can’t of had any extras I’ve spent 4 hours trying to cancel ment to have had 2 calls back nothing very very poor don’t deserve a star

    Been with Talk Talk now about 8 months. I will not be renewing my contract when its up. Internet speed has always been slow. I had no internet for 4 days, I couldn't get through to anyone over the weekend, just kept getting a message saying closed even though it was within opening hours. Had to take annual leave for engineers to come out. Open Reach came out and they were great, sorted the internet which took some 6 hours but they sorted the fault which was the line outside. I have just spoken to someone in complaints who refused to pass on my feedback regarding my complaint in that I wasn't happy with £20 knocking off my next bill. She didn't understand or appreciate 4 days without any TV or internet access along with having to take a day of leave. I also pointed out that I struggle to get internet in one of my bedrooms, signal isn't strong enough, she wasn't interested and quite frankly was rude so much so I told her to keep the £20.
    I will be going back to Virgin when I am able to.

    Don't waste your time and money.
    Actually if you have universal credit. You can get cheap broadband from BT .from £15

    Never sign up with Talk Talk. They lie to you if you ever get to speak to an agent. I could not get my router to work .. their fault. So I cancelled after spending 5 hours on the phone and chat. They promised full refund now after paying for a month I cannot get my money back. They have terrible customer services .. highly trained in fobbing you off and lying. Talk Talk are just crminals who steal your money. Be warned DO NOT SIGN UP WITH TALK TALK

    Worst broadband I’ve ever had in my life what an absolute joke. I have never made a review for anything in my life but this is insane. Even with nobody in the house it is so bad on any console no wonder it’s so cheap can’t even use the thing and if there’s more than 4-5 people in your house just forget about even trying to use it

    Broadband speeds were below minimum guaranteed and service intermittent. Upgraded to direct fibre, delays during set up, disconnected after 1 month due to poor Talk Talk administration, customer service advise account did not show direct fibre, majority of customer service agents not trained in direct fibre. 12 days without any internet. No feedback on progress to resolve, no compensation yet.
    Talk Talk management advise, 'call us back if you still don't have the internet in 4 days'
    Truly abysmal.

    I have been a TalkTalk customer for a year now, but this week i feel like I had enough.
    This week, since Monday my internet has just been HORRIBLE!!!
    I have called talk talk everyday of the week, and They still tell me that "everything is fine qith my line". So why is my internet not working??
    I cannot wait for my contract to finish so I can leave this horrible company.
    Please, do not go for talk talk. They might be cheap, when compared to other companies. However, the issues and headaches you will get... Is just not worthed.
    They are rubbish!!!

    The worst customer service I have ever experienced from any company. I was having problems with the service since the summer. I was most recently without internet access for a week a half. The customer service representatives are just reading from a script and their policy is not to send anyone out until you've gone through a list of checks to your home set up, even if that is obviously not the problem, and a lot of the questions they asked I was unable to answer due to lack of technical knowledge. In the end my son told them I had special needs so that they would send an engineer out. It was the only way we could get them to send anyone. The problem was not properly fixed and after a few months of unreliable service, the internet packed up completely. After a week and a half with no service, I was eventually told that I needed a BT engineer to come into the house, and was invited to book an appointment via their electronic booking system, which I made for the following morning. I had to arrange to take time off work as you can only book a 5 hour slot, which is incredibly difficult as I am a teacher. When it got to 11.30am and the engineer hadn't arrived I called customer service just to check they were coming. I was told that the appointment was booked on the system and that the engineer would defintely be round by 1pm. Nobody came. I phoned them again and then had a half hour argument with the customer services rep who, after I'd explained the situation several times, kept repeating that 'if the engineer needs to access your home they will contact you to make an appointment'. I kept saying over and over again that that had happened, but he would not aaccept it. I asked to be put through to someone else, but he wouldn't put me through and was becoming quite confrontational. I asked to be transferred to someone I could complain to and I was then placed on hold for about 10 minutes. After that time, the same customer services rep came back on the phone and told me that there had been a time lag and that the appointment I had made on the electronic system had not been logged and that I would have to make another appointment. There was no apology. I explained that it was almost impossible to take time off work and that it was unreasonable to expect me to wait in for another five hours the next day, but he wouldn't even answer my concern and kept repeating what was on his script. In the end I had to accept another 5 hour appointment to get the situation resolved. It was a very stressful and frustrating experience. I would never sign up with this company again and I'm just waiting for my contract to finish before moving to a provider that has more respect and consideration for its customers.

    The most despicable company I have had the misfortune to deal with, crap service from people who don't care, many lies, engineer doesn't turn up, engineer didn't showup, the CEO office is a joke, they simply don't care and want to have to do as little as possible if anything at all, CEO Tristia Harrison will not even bother to answer and doesn't seem to care, according to Ofcom, time and agin they get more complaints than any other provider, do they care? NO FOR SURE

    Avoid this company at all costs!! The internet connection is rubbish and they don't remind customers about giving 30 days notice if leaving, so at the end of the contract they automatically renew it and expect you to pay a higher rate for rubbish internet. Manager who dealt with my complaint was also very unhelpful!!

    I joined talktalk , I cancelled on the second day as there is no internet , But they send me a bill after cancellation .The reason for bill is the service was apparently live .That`s why I have to pay the bill. After more than 30 minutes argumentonly they waived the bill.Appaling customer service, rude and arrogant customer service people don`t want to disclose their name .Don`t join with this company.

    I'm write on behalf of my sister who has autism, we needed broadband for video calling for her,tried to set up but modem was not working ,tried to get in touch with talktalk for help,they were not interested, arranged engineer at a later time of the day , but turned up early when she was not home and charged her for not being home ,after many phone calls and online chats ,with no live broadband from day one ,still charging her each month, 5 months later for a service she has never received, customer service very poor ,spent over 5 hours in total on chat and got no Where, just waist your time ,my advice never go with talktalk absolutely awful.

    broad band fitted 22/11/2021 its so slow no its ridiculous . my other broadband is 15 times faster what the hell
    think I’ve made a mistake by having this fitted its crap . so went to cancellation team told you got 20 cooling off period but told my 20 days are up for some reason, want to charge me £260 to cancel only been fitted for 4 days
    the 20 day start from when you ordered and not when its fitted,
    so my advice don't go for talktalk
    it's so slow

    I wouldn’t recommend this company at all because the broadband was unreliable and keeps on dropping.
    When the contract came to an end I tried to renew it to a new contract with cheaper deal but they declined. I have therefore ordered another company to take over my contract but they called me again to say that they will give a new cheaper deal but I have to cancel the contract first with the other company. So I believed them and cancelled my new contract then was waiting for the better to come back but unfortunately nothing happened. I tried to complain but they said they haven’t promised me anything.
    They are liars and thieves. I can’t believe that a big company like this would use this cheap method to fool people to stay with them.

    Just renewed my contract as busy and no time to shop around wish I had looked around, been with talk talk for a few years so decided to continue contract, got bill charged for TV box which I've never had and also 13 pound charge for keeping same contract when I enquired was told you changed contract I said no I carried old one on also said do you not watch TV, I said yes on my sky box. Customer service diabolical usual I must speak to my invisible manager, told them to cancel it all, cannot you only get 2 weeks then will charge you 230 pound cancellation fee, for a long term customer I find this atrocious and advise anybody looking at talk talk look the other way as I could not recommend this company ever again

    Very poor service and reliability could not provide the service but still charged me with a cancellation fee took me 3 hours to get through to retentions department I was fuming spoke to maybe 10 different people cut off 3 times really unprofessional company stay away go to sky worth the little extra for the customer service that they provide I'm really upset that they charged me for wanting to leave early because it was not working in my daughters bedroom really stay away people I would not like you To go through what I did

    absolutely awful, the internet constantly drops out, and when it doesn't drop out its disgustingly slow. clearly false advertising saying they have great speeds etc etc. My family have been with talk talk for a while now and likely going to go for Virgin Media once the new Fibre Optic stuff is activated in our area. Talk Talk feels like a cash grab and their customer server is trash.

    What a shambles. Despite paying for their top service which, when it works, delivers 150MB download, it consistently breaks down, usually during a time when I most need it. And when I do manage to get through, they always sound so surprised. I will definitely be moving elsewhere as soon as our contract ends. My only worry is ...are they ALL as bad as eachother?

    I left a review on here last week and continued to call and get awful customer service being out on hold for over an hour!     Worst company, do not use. All operators are foreign and do not understand requests, did not cancel my account, accepted the fault. Then to me it was resved, only to pads to debt collectors. Despite my sharing transcripts of conversation where error was accepted. Claimed I disconnected in contract when transcripts accept I was not!
