    Trying to get issues resolved with customer services is a nightmare - they bounce you from department to department where you have to listen to same scripted speech in some vain attempt to beat you into submission to stop you from contacting and making a compliant - AVOID AVOID AVOID

    Dreadful customer service, changed my plan without authority. Line faults were attended by sub contractors who had not got a clue. Blocked my phone line for no reason and they could not explain, be prepared for customer service calls to take hours and hours to get a negative response

    I was setting up broadband on line with Talk Talk, i picked a package £27 a month that included a £100 amazon voucher. half way through i was promted to "upgrade" to the amazon package wich included a new 4 gen speaker. i believed i was being offered this and the voucher for an extra charge of £5. However i later found out that the speaker was only worth £40 so losing £60 worth of benifits and paying an extra £5 a month for the pleasure. now talk talk are refusing even to send me my speaker saying they have no record of the offer. Do not use this company - i am now stuck in a contract and overpaying for the privlage - please stay away from these crooks

    I have the record for one of my problems 30 hours on the phone,it was actually more,, i now have tinitus, after 20 years i know all the sly moves, everyone knows about them, some have left and had to pay massive bills to get rid of the nightmare, they are all liars, and TalkTalk had to pay 200 Million for plundered accounts, they were fined a pittance of 4 million, so your account is in poverty stricken Countries, the indian call center seems to be gone now, all these call centers have had to pay back millions, they keep it under cover, i leave very little in my bank account, your money is safer under your matress, beware of all foreign call centers, you can knock on the companies door here, bot not thousands of miles away, watch BT, they will sign you up with a posh English voice, then when you want help, lol, yes you guessed it, if your the nervous type stay away, you may end up in a Mental Hospital, you might find that changing your mind on joining will cost you, leaving can be expensive, you never warned them and never gave your 30 days notice, or, there is a charge for a paper bill, the list is endless, NEVER JOIN THIS COMPANY.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

    I have been with this company many years. As of late I have had a need to contact them over an issue with their mail service. ALL my folders were wiped clean including some important files I needed. Over the last 7 weeks despite my using their Chat (Joke) i have emailed them & done the dreaded phone call on 3 occasions. Each call lasting over 1 hour & ALL to no avail?? Their customer service is a complete joke & would be laughable if it wasn't so infuriating! I have had enough of this incompetent untrained agents & come my renewal ---I will be leaving this service for good!

    Absolutely terrible, WiFi never worked awful customer service, when trying to sort issues with the service they hang up on you or move you from place to place no one actually helping. Wouldn’t use them again if you paid me

    Awful company - we have now been without internet for 3 weeks, both my partner and I work from home and have been out of work for 3 weeks due to this!!! No support was given, appalling customer service... each time I call, it cuts out. Each time I email, they apologise but do nothing about it. Will never go with this company again, they have caused me so much stress these past 3 weeks. Severely lacking in communication and customer service skills! Steer well clear of this provider.

    Where do I start? I have been with talktalk for many years, last year had daily disconnections, sometimes, unable to connect at all, 3 weeks waiting for an engineer who never showed up or even bother to call, what did this disgusting company do? They ACTUALLY PENALIZED me not once but TWICE, I am one of the "vulnerable " customers they always claim to prioritise, having a heart condition, what a joke, all lies, they screwed mw in every way possible, left me for months with crap connection, stole from me for the engineer not showing you, lied to me again and again, I explained my stituation on talktalk forum for everyone to read, not one single person from talktalk apologized or offered to help, I did get an email from an employee of CEO office by the name of Mucklin promising she would do her best to resolve the matter, all lies, only she had NO INTENTION of doing anything but she gave a contact number knowing full well she had absolutely no intention of talking to me, I called her numerous times, left so many messages, not a single reply, everytime I called her I had to listen to her voice recording that "her priority is vulnerable customers" she was saying this with a straight face while crapping on one, THIS IS TALKTALK, THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT VUNERABLE CUSTOMERS, not only that but she actually complained that I was sending too many emails, she was crapping on me and she wanted me to keep my mouth shut to make HER life easier so she doesn't even do the job she is getting paid for, you couldn't make it up, never ever have I experienced such evil for any company before, NEVER, even cowboys would be ashamed but not talktalk, god knows how many times it was named by Ofcom as the most complained about provider in the UK, but they don't care, the CEO is Tristia Harrison, don't expect any help from her, she doesn't give a s***, she is sitting pretty and laughing all the way to the bank, no one cares about the customers, "vulnerable customers" get crapped on, I curse the day I chose them as my provider, I urge customers who have been treated to review them on Trustpilot.
    If this is the way they treat vulnerable customers god help their healthy ones, unless you experience this yourself you would NEVERbelieve that a company in the uk can behave like that, it is THE COMPANY FROM HELL.
    I left this disgusting company recently, they assured me at the time I would continue to be able to access my talktalk email address after I left, more lies, almost certainly deliberately they deleted my email, I can only access the last 14 days, it wasn't enough what they put me though I had to be punished some more, I explained to them that I have health issues and that I need to be able to access my emails and that I was paying extra for this, but those callous people don't care one bit, no reply from them.

    Signed up for 100mb/s download speed and pay a fairly reasonable price for it. That is, if the wifi was anything like the 60mb/s guarantee. Every time I have run a speed test in the month since I got it, the speed has been more like 10mb/s and that's without the constant cutouts

    Worst broadband speed. Promised as per contract and what I get - it is just joke. And that already over year. Customer service don`t know what they're doing. Worst company I've ever been with.

    Please stay away. They have made the past one of the most stressful. Especially during the WFH. They always say nothing is wrong on their end. They send engineers and charge you if there is nothing wrong on your side. This has happened 3 times so far. So apparently our problems are imaginary.

    Their support is bad. Router needs constant restarting every other week. Frequent random blackout. Never getting even close to the speed we are paying for.

    On top of all we dont have internet every Sunday 00:00 - 01:00 and they are doing nothing about it.

    They are saying that they cant see the issue and call them during the issue, yet they dont have support during that time. WHAT A JOKE.

    I missed payment on my bill by 2 days the restricted my services on Sunday. I paid Monday morning at 8:30am my wifi still hadn’t been turned on so I spoke to somebody on the online chat and they assured my that by the end of the day my wifi will be reinstated. It got to 7:30 and nothing I went onto online chat again and they then told me they’d raise and escalation as there’s a bar on my account and that it can take 24-48 hours i waited until wednesday, still no wifi, I called and was on the phone for 2.5 hours being passed from one person to another none had a clue what was going on and when I asked for a manager they couldn’t get me one I had a text on Wednesday morning saying the manager would call me that day between 2-4pm I had no phone call then when I brought this up to them they said no it was for the 4th but on my text it clearly stated the 3rd/ the women I spoke to literally didn’t have a clue what she was doing she even admitted she didn’t have a clue. Talk talk hire people who don’t have half a brain on what to do and now they have whacked my bill up to £107 saying I hadn’t paid last months which I paid Monday and demanding payment for this month early which I am not doing! I will be changing networks to get away from this shambles of a company! If your thinking of joining steer clear! Awful rude customer service and they don’t have a clue what to do half the time!

    Changing providers and moving to talk talk was the Worst mistake I ever made! When the broadband worked (occasionally) I got speeds bellow the ones promised, the internet constantly buffers and can’t even make it through a 20min period without cutting out, I was also promised a 12 month free prime subscription which never arrived and when I rang about it they just sent me an article advertising the offer and still didn’t receive the offer, during the 7 months I have been with them I’ve been completely without internet three times. They are slow to answer the phones and when they do they Are clearly reading from a script and have no idea what they are talking about, I’ve left them early and am currently looking into not paying the cancellation fees as they didn’t provide the promised service or the deal it was meant to come with, do not use talk talk it is terrible

    Dreadful just Dreadfull customer service and product.
    This is the worst phone company I have ever been with. They wont let me pay my bill by DD, as the a/c is in my ex's name and they dont appear to be able to change that......(AFTER 2 YEARS), they send a bill 3 days before it is due and I have to pay by phone and the last 2 months i've been on holiday on the Due date so been charged a ridiculous admin fee for late payment (twice my normal bill), they add 'extras' without telling you and charge you for them and wont refund. It takes ages to speak to anyone on their enquiry line and when you do they have no idea how to help and worse of all when you register a formal complaint ( I have registered 3!) They simply do not respond. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY I am moving phone supplier net month hopefully - PRAISE BE. What shocking customer service, What a rubbish company.

    Did you see the reply they left below? Well I did contact them on facebook today (3/11/21)..... and they have replied sending the links for ME to do all the chasing via an account that I DONT HAVE because they cant change the name on the account to mine. They want my account details to verify who i am , but I DONT HAVE an account because its in my ex's name, which is the whole point..... They have also sent me more links to the complaints process i have already been through 3 times. BUT STILL I have had no response.

    They need to 'check my security' via my signing on to their system with my account. BUT I DONT HAVE AN ACCOUNT SO I CANT!!!!!!!!!!!

    They could of course RING ME on the phone line that they charge ME for, to check my security, but NO..... they just send me links that dont work, and I cant use as I DONT HAVE AN Account.

    All they do is fob you off, send you links that don't work, and FIX NOTHING.

    Most unhelpful company ever.

    This is the worst company I have ever been with. I DO NOT recommend it. I took out wifi 3 months ago and 3 months on I still have no internet connection. I spend about 3 hours a day on the phone and chats trying to sort it out but still nothing. I’ve had about 6 engineers out and nothing. They’ve still been charging me extortionate price every month even though I haven’t been able to use the services and then when I ask for them to refund me, they tell me they can’t! The list goes on! Absolutely usless!!!!

    the worst company ever. over charging and when i decided to leave them i rang them and they would transfer me to different departments and no one would sort it out for me! when i explained to them theyre just transferring me on they decided to cut me off the call! bearing in mind i was on the call for over 30 mins and been ringing for over a week and the same thing kept happening! all the staff was so rude all they wanted was me not to leave talktalk for the money! they dont even know how to do their jobs properly i decided to ring in once one and thankgod a very nice lady called courtney who had just started answered and sorted my problem out! if i would rate this brand less i would! never going back to this crap company!

    If I could give a 0 I would. Me and my partner have been with talk talk for over 2 years now and we've had nothing but trouble! Firstly, our internet Wouldnt connect displaying a orange flashing light, after contacting the call center and having to pull apart the connection box, they decided to send a new router out. Which worked perfect for about 3 weeks, then it happened again. After spending 2hours on a live chat to be cut off before any action was taken, we decided to ring them which took over an hour! So after 3hours or phone calls and live chats we asked for an engerieer to come out and was told if there was a problem caused by us we would be charged £65 for service charges. The engerieer came and was gob smacked with how eroded our connection box was due to it being so old. We have no just discovered we have been charged £65 for the service charge, despite the problem not being our fault at all. After all of this, we asked for a refund for then £65 taken from our account and money knocked off our next bill due to us not having internet access for over 2weeks which they declined doing either. Usually wouldn't bother us, but due to the current pandemic we are all going through, me and my partner are currently working from home so we rely on having internet access! Would NOT recommend, stay away!

    I have lost WiFi since 19th October and it’s still not back yet (30th October) it also went down for 72 hours in September. They’ve been useless this time the delays occurred as they said they sent out a test router (they didn’t) then they said they sent out and engineer so I waited another 3 days (they hadn’t) they’ve cut me off twice on chat once just now when I tried to confirm what time the engineer would come out (mostly to ensure it was actually booked this time) and earlier when I asked for money back and the process for requesting this. Crap service, not particularly rude just useless. I would never recommend and will never go back.

    Been with Talk Talk since they took over from Aol. You will notice the price is never the same every now and then a couple of quid is added.Last bill they added £1.36. Contract ended on the 24th. I was paid up to the 27th. I was dissconected from all there services. Got a final bill asking for£36 even though i have no servicers from them. Woman manager from call center in India needs sacking the lies she told you would not believe.She told me my line speed was what i should be getting. Everything was fine.I said thats strange? I had been dissconected. So i told her she was wrong and is lying. She came back again and still insisted everything was ok. So i sent her the screen shots. Pause for a minute. Passed too another liar. That all this company does is pass you around in the hope you give up.

    Please avoid this company at all cost, they are absolutely useless.
    My internet service packed up 12 weeks ago.
    I have phoned the so-called Customer Service desk so many times, I have lost count. All the operatives do is ask you the same questions and perform the same tests over and over again (if they don’t just hang up on you!). I have been visited by QUBE and Openreach engineers several times and all they do is run the same tests and check the equipment over and over again. On one occasion they sent me a new router and this made no difference whatsoever. They seem to be thoroughly incompetent or unwilling to fix this problem. I’m tired of being lied to or just hung up on by these cowboys.

    Not only uttter crap service but despicable treatment of vulnerable customers, truly a company from hell, they left me for months with crap connection, made wait 3 weeks for an engineer who never bothered to turnup and INSTEAD OF COMPNSATING me like they were supposed to they ACTUALLY PENALISED not once but TWICE, it really beggars belief, this a company that is ALWAYS cailming that it prioritises vulnerable customers, I am one (having a heart condition) they not only couldn't care less, they couldn't stop crapping on me, their incomptence is only surpassed by their callousness, truly a company from hell.

    TALK TALK IS WORST COMPANY EVER, THEY ARE SCAMMERS. CHARGING FOR SERVICES NOT PROVIDED.

    I joined AOL telephone and broadband service in 2002 ad was with them until the service was taken over by Talk Talk @ 2014? My service was automatically transferred to Talk Talk following that takeover.

    Within a few years, @ 2016, the service got worse and despite repeated complaints of intermittent & permanent loss of service to both telephone & broadband (sometimes for days or weeks) Talk Talk failed to take effective action to remedy the situation. Meanwhile they continued to bill me each month. Sometimes they will give me £5 credit as compensation!

    I terminated the contract in 2019 after repeated warnings of my intention over the course of at least one year. Talk Talk were unhappy to let me go even though they were unable to provide an uninterrupted service. They tried to tie me into a contract that they were not performing. They demanded that I pay for a further 5 months.

    When I refused to pay, they registered a default debt against my name since 2019 thereby damaging my ability to get credit and/or get credit at a standard rate of interest. I had difficulties getting mortgages but when I did get one, it was with a non standard lender at a higher than usual rate. I only became aware of the default entry when that mortgage lender insisted that I have to settle the debt before they can lend to me.

    The problem which Talk Talk did not resolve for over 3 years was resolved when the new provider, Vodafone, got BT Openreach to renew the telephone line. Openreach recorded the fault as corroded and ‘crumbled’ copper.

    Talk Talk are yet to apologise and are insisting that they were within their ‘contractual rights’ to register the debt default against my name with the credit reference agencies. They are however offering a refund of 3 months’ bill (@£68) for the damage done to my name.

    Their staff are a waste of time as most complaints remain unresolved

    This has got to be the worst company in history,I don't know what type of scam they have going but there definitely is one they tried to overcharge me on my phone bill after a few calls I got it sorted and paid my final bill that was months ago have had no correspondence since then but then a letter off them Monday saying I owe a final payment I don't even know what it's for when I rang them they said it was for a late charge,I told them what they can do with their late charge I honestly think they try their luck to get vulnerable people to pay we'll talk talk I'm not that person when I left they tried to get me to stay with their pathetic offers I told them I wouldn't stay with them if it was for free my services were terrible my house phone used to crackle my internet speed was slow and used to freeze this company needs to be closed down it's absolutely useless

    worst company for customer service i have ever experienced appalling. rude rude staff who lie about anything they can. lie about when you will get your internet and the reasons why you dont have it . transferred from person to person having to explain your situation over and over again to different idiots for your entire day

    Simply, disgusted by the appalling services I have received or better say not received!
    No Internet services! If you call and complain, you are just passed from post to goal.
    This team to the other and nobody does take ownership of your issue.
    No team know what they are doing. Just false promises over and over.
    I have never received such a terrible service. They have caused me massive stress. My blood pressure actually has risen due to the stress they have caused me!
    They cant fix their problem (provide you the internet) but they wont let you cancel either.
    Big bully I call the Talktalk.
    Even when you log a complaint it get lost in the system! the owners of this company must be ashamed of themselves for not knowing what is going on in their company.
    I believe that they are not treating their staff fairy, nor provide them with clear job role or to empower them to make a decision or to solve an issue.
    Even though I have managed to cancel my contract with them, but they still did not disconnect and carried on charging me!
    How can I really get rid of you Talktalk. I had enough of your bullying.

    Now 6 weeks without and trying to blame Openreach. Everyone you speak to tells you a different story. No sign of ever getting a service from them again. Wish we'd stayed with Virgin. Awful.

    Terrible service, we have been withiout broadband for almost a month. I don't even know the amount of hours I have wasted on the phone/live chat to these people and they get nothing sorted! Finally, an engineer was booked, but they didn't show up. A total disgrace! Still no internet after hours and hours wasted.

    Stay well clear, money grabbing, bad customer service, trying to bill twice, quick to take money, not easy to get hold of when you need to resolve any issue however. BT miles ahead.

    'Talk-Talk' Consistently Wrong Billing Every Month for 8 Months! Avoid this Company! Even with a Barge Pole!

    In all honesty, I cannot avoid writing this terrible ‘Review’ about ‘Talk-Talk’ after the sheer litany of failures I have experienced with them, over the past 8 months.
    And it’s still going on! – Despite me leaving them for ‘Sky Q’ and ‘Ultrafast Broadband’ (who are so much better) on 10th October 2021.
    Yes – ‘Talk-Talk’ are still ‘billing me’ for my old service (Faster Fibre 150) even though they have confirmed by email, that I was ‘leaving them’ in mid-October when they promised to send … a ‘final bill’ - (which they still haven’t done!)
    So I feel duty bound to warn others by relating my experiences.
    Firstly, every single bill has been wrong – each and every month – for the past 8 months – since ‘switching to Faster Fibre Broadband 150’ with Talk-Talk’ in March 2021.
    Yes, that’s my March bill – WRONG – My April Bill – WRONG – My June Bill – WRONG - My July Bill – WRONG - My August Bill – WRONG - My September Bill – WRONG and finally still - My October Bill – STILL WRONG.
    As Oscar Wilde might have said … Getting one bill wrong … ‘may be regarded as a misfortune’ … but to get two bills wrong … ‘looks like carelessness.’
    Well getting 8 Bills wrong … is sheer ineptitude … bordering on fraud!
    And to add to the absolutely inexcusable inconvenience of wrong billing … you, as the customer, have to tell them every time, that they are in error! And that involves either using their ‘CHAT’ or PHONING them.
    And both of these methods of contacting them … have ‘long waiting times.’
    CHAT too – when you finally do get through … and have been through the ‘Security Questions’ – actually ends up with them saying ‘Oh, you need to ring the Faster Fibre Team’ with this matter’ after all. An utter waste of time!
    And so each and every month, I have had to endure long waiting times listening to their simplistic, repetitive muzak … (based loosely on the chords to ‘Let It Be’) … and phone call durations of over 25 minutes … and on at least three occasions almost an hour.
    Not on!
    And in the phone calls … they frequently ‘pass you on to another person / Dept.’ … who when they connect … they put through the same ‘Security Questions’ … AGAIN … and ask you to articulate the issue … AGAIN!
    Often they don’t believe you! And insist they are right. For example when I told them I was getting slow broadband speeds – they explained that they deliver 150 mbps to ‘your house’ through the external connection … but they are not responsible for the Wi-Fi speeds ‘inside the house’ which is down to internal configurations beyond their control!
    So my ‘Faster Fibre 150’ was actually giving me around 30mbps most of the time!
    I am double that now with Sky!
    Anyway, returning to billing, I did get some alterations / discounts when they finally accepted that I was still being billed for my ‘previous service.’
    ‘Faster Fibre 150’ is ‘Broadband Only’ and does not support a Landline Phone or a TV package … but every month I was being ‘charged / billed’ for a ‘TV Boost’ and an ‘Unlimited Calls Phone Boost.’
    They even asked, as one of their ‘Security Questions’ – “What is your Landline number?” – So clearly, the move to the ‘Faster Fibre’ product was never properly actioned and activated.
    Several Talk-Talk representatives told me this – that the new Faster Fibre Dept. had not ‘moved the product across’ so the finance people were still sending out monthly bills for my old (previous) service.
    Anyway if a Company can’t get their ‘charging procedures’ right – then that’s a massive flaw. Not one customers should be faced with.
    The one thing you expect, when you pay money to a company or business, every month, is fiscal integrity.
    Talk-Talk literally cannot be trusted to get their Bills right.
    So my advice is – avoid them! Even with a very large barge pole!

    Almost a year later..hours and hours following TT instructions and tests, new router, Brightspark engineer visit..still averaging 16-28Mbps.
    This is what a TT guaranteed 34Mbps download actually looks like.
    BS Engineer suspects Openreach line/connections back to green box (which is only approx 200metres away.
    This ball is still in TalkTalk's court.

    TalkTalk continue to maintain the child lock on our broadband even though we do not use them and instead use Now broadband.

    Trying to fix this issue with them is ridiculous - instead of offering solutions they behave as if they have never experienced this sort of issue before and that it is our responsibility to fix.

    They have prompted me to get in touch with the old tenants of my property to sort it out. Luckily - I know their identities and can do so, but in the case where I didn't - what could I possibly have done? They're either unwilling/unable to unilaterally terminate the service to our flat which I find laughable considering they can cut it if you don't pay your bills.

    Terrible customer service!

    I ordered Fibre 65 service from Talk Talk which has a headline speed of 67MB. The service speed is stable bur never gets above mid 30s. Talk Talk advisor told me that the expected figure should be around 36MB. i could have got 38Mb service a lot cheaper from other providers.

    This company has to be without doubt the worst in the UK, I asked for an extension to be put on my account for 30 days which they agreed too, then cut off my services before the date was up waffling on about the unpaid bill, then continued to lie and lie that the ban had been lifted, spent 2 hours on hold having to endure the same rubbish from people who haven't a clue my cat could do a better job, so to anyone thinking of getting Internet from this beyond appalling company DONT run a mile, and Talk Talk 3 cheers for being the worst of the worst.
