If there was a 0 star i would give it to them. Worst company i have dealt with. Their customer service is awful, that is once i eventually get through to someone! I phoned to let them know my contract was up and i wouldn't be going back to them and the man wanted to know why, who i was taking a new contract with what my new contract included and how much i would be paying.. i think that is so so rude! when i told him i found a better deal at o2 he told me i was stupid for cancelling such a better deal.. Terrible!! STAY CLEAR of EE they might be cheap but there is a reason for that! Im now with o2 and never have any problems!

Honestly the worst internet provider that you can go with we were miss sold the overpriced package which was for “small homes with 1 and 2 devices” our home has over 8 the connection can’t handle any type of console. I thank god that we are moving to virgin if you want any decent experience go to anywhere other than EE no band they are worse than dial up.

BUYERS BEWARE SCAM!!! SCAM!!!! SCAM!!!!! this network has to be the worst one I've ever experienced in my life, the customer service teams know absolutely nothing about what they are talkin about , the managers are rude and very argumentative, I've rang up todAy and been called a liar and fraud. I haven't had signal propally since I've been with ee, they are the worst network around and I have full 4gee with the iPhone 5s and unlimited everything And they can't help me. I will be cancelling my bank account so they are unable to transact any money from my account . Andi will not bee paying them for a service I was promised but yet never receeved. Thank you and good day

its a shame I have to give any stars at all. having been a mobile customer and happy with the service, I bought into home broadband, 4 weeks installation time. it worked fine for the first two weeks then speed has dropped to a max of 0.2mps when it actually works at all. after spending a total of 14 hours over the following 8 weeks on the phone switching the router on and off then holding while a line check is done. then being told they will call me back and they don't. being transferred from dept. to dept. Im amazed a company can still be in business with this kind of service. but after reading reviews from all isp's it would seem that there isn't a good internet provider. much like choosing who to vote for or which bank to use, gotta find the the one who will screw you over the least

EE total crud I was told I needed a new phone line installed so I could get broadband.this was arranged for instalation on 30-1-2015.as I had not received my router I telephoned ee only to be told my line wasn't getting installed the next day.yesterday I received a letter from ee stating the line would be installed on the 11-2-2015 between 9am and 12 midday.I had to cancel a urgent appointment with my go as there was no one else available to be at home for the engineer. At 13.30 and still no sign of engineer I called ee.was on hold for twenty minutes and when I got through I was put on hold for another ten minutes.then I was told it wasn't getting installed today.because BT had to do some work outside my property. This is the same excuse they gave on the 29-1-2015.I told her I was going to make a complaint.she replied I have raised a complaint for you.hope I get an answer because I didn't get one when I complaind two weeks before and still waiting..customer device is total crud they not botherd about their customers

Agreed to contract in the morning, then changed my mind after thinking carefully about how I was treated by the bossy, arrogant and patronising lady in the morning. When I called the cancelation team in the afternoon the nasty man was even worst, he was basically trying to tell me that I cannot cancel my contract and put the phone down on me
I will not recommend this roague trade cowboys even with free forever broadband and everything else, my advice is go and find another proper supplier. If they treat me like this before I even get any (horrible) service from them, I dread to think what could have happen after few days into the contract. EE shame on you, please train your staff to respect people.

Changed from Sky to EE on 31/10/16 and immediately broadband signal poor. Told to wait 10 days to settle but remained poor. Very long story short, To date 29/12 I've had a new router, an EE engineer, BT Engineer plus 2 BT resets plus many long phone calls. After the BT Engineer and resets the speed was 3mbps enabling me to watch iPlayer and use Internet but the speed drops off and Internet needs resetting after 2/3 days.

EE webpage states speed up to 17mbps on the basic package which is suitable for a small households with 2/3 appliances. This matched my requirements and I paid for 18 months upfront. It's only when you get the acceptance email that there is a clause stating the minimum speed will be 1mbps. My current speed is 1.40mbps.

I don't know what broadband speeds I've had over the past 6 years with different providers. I've always taken the cheapest, basic option and not had any problems. So I've never checked.

EE state that as they are providing a speed of just over 1mbps they are fulfilling their contact. I can't cancel the contract. I have been offered fibre optic at additional cost.

Following yet another 2.5 hour phone call today ending with a conversation with an obnoxious Manager I'm a very disgruntled customer. If Sky could provide an adequate service using the BT line (which has now been renewed and replaced) why can't EE provide the same?

EE is just a NIGHTMARE! Since the beginning of January I am having about an hour internet per day, with a speed of 0.2 Mb/s, otherwise there is no connection!!!! I called tens of times, and every time they ask me to look at the router homepage, unsecrew the phone socket et the usual rubbish, then apparently they raise a bit the speed on my connection so I get the internet for about an hour then the connection is lost again for the rest of the day!!! Don't go with EE please.

I entered into a contract for fast delivery of broadband this is the worst broadband I have had and according to EE because the required speed in the area he stated in my contract I am now stuck with the broadband that doesn’t work whilst EE are happy to take my money and now suggested I go to the ombudsman

I entered into a contract to get a fast Broadband I did not enter into a contract for EE specify I have the speed according to contract but not the broadband delivery I noticed the attitude has changed since becoming part of the BT group when your business – finally fail You will not be able to contest the bad causes you have made

Members of the public be where this is a terrible company to do with throughout my complaints not able to receive the broadband I’m paying for iPad managers on the phone copy rude Speaking down to customers who contribute to watch that wages

100% mistake, they sell 100mb and you will receive a maximum of 18mb, customer service doesn't work at all, it seems like you have to pay but not demand.

EE toke over my broadband although instructed not to. Promises made to correct missed.
Money taken from my bank although promised this would not happen.
Compensation dates missed - still trying to resolve since October last year.
Worse company I have ever dealt with.
Anyone thinking of changing be very careful.

What on earth I went with ee for. for nearly two years I have off and on problems. even when fixed it works just for a few days and same old story starts again. Absolutely poor and horrendous service. When they say they will be sending the technician to fix it no body turns up. and upon query they say their system is down and cannot say anything. Good bye ee at the earliest opportunity. If you have a stress free life then join ee for stress.

I joined EE broadband about 2 months ago and was promised my speeds would not go below 16,I was told if it did I wouldn't be charged, both these promises haven't been upheld. I'm barely making 9. I will soon be showing my contract to a legal advisor as nothing has been done even though I have been contacting EE regarding this. Very unhappy and will be cancelling my contract unless action is taken and bill for useless broadband is repaid back

In simple terms: DO NOT GET IT!!! The worst broadband connection I have ever experienced in my life. Either there is a fault in the line, problem with the speed or the router is simply disconnected. EE lures their customer with low prices but it is cheaper in the long term to get a wprking internet connection for a higher price. You will not make 3 hour long calls to restore your connection or find out what is going on, you will not have to use public internet when your broadband isn’t working again and you simply will pay for proper internet. EE internet is a scam. As for people in London it is more convenient to use public internet in a coffee shop when needed than have EE broadband that never works!!!!

Buyer beware. This oversold service is so throttled outside core business hours to be useless for the consumer. A guaranteed 30 Mbps connection cannot, for most of the evening deliver more than 0.2 Mbps. Customer service has a script that dates from the early millennium referring to a cabled interface not provided in modern equipment. Avoid. Like the plague. Look elsewhere.

Extremely disappointed by the service no broadband for 6 out of the last 30days. Customer care should be called customer neglect, very difficult to speak to someone and when contact is made often get cut off. Considering EE is in the communication business they have a lot to learn but as a major player in the industry I don't think that they care.I have given my notice to these jokers.

If I could use NEGATIVE star rating, I would. The customer service is truly shockingly bad. Having applied for BB and phone services in Dec 14, to go live 3 weeks later, EE failed to provide ANY broadband service at all. Over the subsequent 6 weeks, 3 further dates were given to me for the BB to go live, all of which failed. Complaints went unheeded, I lost count of the times I was promised a call - back or email, which never materialised. I was offered, but never got, compensation of a "month's free broadband" - that would be a month's exemption for the charge for the service which I never actually got... In despair, I applied to BT, who provided the service exactly as promised, on time and with no hassle, only to find that EE was still billing me for the non - existent service.
On trying to follow up on my final (fifth) complaint call, for which I had a reference no, I was informed that the complaint was "...handled internally, the resolution decided, the case closed and that the complainant customer was never contacted further in regard to the complaint anyway ...".
I am in the process of escalating this complaint and the complete failure to provide the service to far higher levels, having gone from irritation and frustration, to near incandescent nuclear rage at this appalling company.

If you really wish to punish yourself by aligning with EE, beware that the "come hither" offers may not be available in rural areas, such that BB is capped quite low, commencement fees are applied, and the monthly charge is FAR higher that the headline deal.

Being in a rural location and not being able to get decent broadband due to the government's slow progress, despite all their promises and claims coupled with the corrupt BT OpenReach monopoly we opted for a 4G home router from EE. What a terrible mistake - speeds were slightly improved from the BT copper wire that we suffer but for the last 2 months has slowed down for no reason to a point that it's unusable. As mentioned by others you get the dumb questions and the "can you restart the router'. Why do these companies employ monkeys on their support desks that seem to know less that the average user these days. Awful service, awful broadband - just simply awful. Avoid EE at all costs. EE were awful before they became part of BT but now they're part of possibly the worst corporation on the planet there's no hope.

EE broadband is so bad it cannot be used. It cannot serve one device let alone multiples so the router is trash as well. My firestick freezes all the time (it did not with SKY) so my 3 year old gets really frustrated with her cartoons. This ISP it totally UNFIT FOR THE PURPOSE. Customer Service department takes the p**s out of us. What a disgusting company this is. DO NOT GO NEAR EE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT TOUCH. Supposed to connect with them on 4/3/14, phone connected but no Broadband. Every time I called customer service I was told lies and told to call back in 48 hours and we'll definitely have an answer for you. Eventually I was told I would be connected in less than the 13 days it normally takes because of the problems I've had then they sent me a text to say id be connected on the 1/4/14, this was in 18 days time, not less than the 13 they said. I cancelled and im now waiting on a new supplier. Thanks to EE I've had no broadband since the 4/3/14 and I now need to get a new home phone number too since they've messed that up too. Please don't go anywhere near them.

I had a near miss with this company! Beware when you sign up! You appear to be in "their area", then suddenly, when activation becomes nearer, you are out, your broadband is no more unlimited but capped at 20GB per month, plus various £ 10s here and there on top of your package. My first experience with them was in the spring this year when I went to the EE shop to buy a dongle as my phone+internet were down. There I was promptly informed of their fabulous deals on home broadband packages. As my contract with Bt is coming to an end, I went back to have more information. And I check on the net: yes, I was entitled to their broadband, not the fastest, but I know it is not very fast where I live anyway. I rang up their sale dept and I found a very nice guy who gave me an even cheaper deal. This was 2 weeks ago. But the day after I tripped over this website and alarm bells started ringing seeing all the bad reviews. I rang them up and they reassusered me they have been voted the best by Which magazine. Customer servise seemed very nice. However last tuesday I received their "welcome pack" and again I was very alarmed as I read - in the tiniest little print, at the very bottom of the letter, that what I was getting was not unlimited but capped at 2oGB; plus various other fee. Again I called and the pre-live broad.b even sent an email confirming what I was getting was totally unlimited. Thursday 4th the router turned up. And the progress of my order on line started to go backwards: there appeared to be "a slight problem" which Saturday at about midnight became "a hiccup". Sunday (yesterday) I called them first thing in the morning. well, they had a system problem. I tried again in the afternoon: I was informed that - after almost 2 weeks - they realized I wasn't living in one of their areas after all. And my unlimited internet was - in fact - limited to a 20GB monthly allowance. Then there were few other fees to be paid as well, Therefore I ordered the chap I was speaking to cancel my order immediately as I was still in my 14 days cooling off period. Just on time. Had I waited today it would have been a total disaster, I would have been stucked with these con people for the next year! However my order has been cancelled, I hope they do not take any money from my account (they said I don't owe them a penny - how generous!) What am I waiting now is to receive their silver envelope so I can get rid of their bright box.

Months of intermittent broadband...several engineers called none of them resolve the issue. Each stating I need another engineer....which I have to call for. Each time I call I have to go through the same tests as the operator is reading a script all for me to book the next level engineer! Surely they should manage this internally and get it sorted. I pointed out that my charges are higher than that currently available and for a far poorer service...operator avoided the discussion. Worst service ever....will definitely be going elsewhere absolutely fed up with the ee muppets.
DO NOT USE EE FOR BROADBAND OR MOBILE.

I was a customer of Freeserve, which became Wanadoo, which was taken over by Orange and - finally - EE when this took over Orange. My association with EE continued until the end of June 2016, so I think it fair to say that I gave them a chance! I received a discount on the price of our broadband/landline due to the prolonged association with the company; EE are also my mobile phone provider which also meant the cost was slightly cheaper.

Our broadband got progressively slower and slower, until it regularly ground to a complete halt virtually every evening. Numerous calls to customer services were answered by people with a frustratingly poor grasp of English; although they did try to help, nothing they did resulted in a prolonged improvement and I was left with having to unplug the router from the power supply every night to re-boot it - not what anyone wants when they are in the middle of playing a game or downloading a large file, for example.

I gave up a couple of months ago and found another supplier who could offer a better service for about the same price.

I had EE broadband for 18 months before requesting them to do a home move. After moving into our new property we had problem after problem! There was a problem with the line, with our broadband box, technical faults, problems with the line again. Cut to 5 weeks after our move and internet STILL wasn't activated. Not only that but we were threatened with being charged for an engineer to come out and see what the problem was.

I can't emphasise this enough - do NOT go with EE Broadband. Awful service. By contrast we got so fed up and cancelled our account despite having 3 months worth of credit at this point. Virgin Media had the box with us and the line active in 48 hours AND gave us a couple of weeks free service as a thank you for switching.

CALLED EE TO UPGRADE 2 PHONES ON MY ACCOUNT. AGENT ASK IF I WOULD ALSO CONSIDER CHANGING MY BT BROADBAND SUPPLIER TO EE, TOLD ME ABOUT COSTS AND HOW SEAMLESS THE PROCESS WOULD BE SEAMED REASONABLE.

    TODAY, THE BROADBAND SERVICE DIED.

CALLED EE TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED, THEY BLAMED BT FOR TURNING SERVICE OFF EARLY ANF THAT IT WOULD TAKE 10 DAYS TO RECONNECT.

IF YOU NEED THE 'SEAMLESS' TRANSITION THAT WAS PROMISED, PLEASE AVOID IT, OTHERWISE YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF WITH THE LACK OF CONNECTIVITY I'M NOW FACED WITH AND I RUN A BUSINESS THAT NEEDS A RELIABLE SERVICE.

i SHOULD HAVE ADHERED TO THE OLD PHRASE, IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT FIX IT.

EE BROADBAND SWAP WITH EXISTING ISP,.....STEER CLEAR!!

Worst Worst Worst customer service ever! Not sure how they are still in business. I have been with ee for about a year. No issues when I first signed up a year ago. However I applied for a house move recently and ee couldn't get my broadband working for nearly a month!

Every time I called I was put on a waiting list for as long as half hour and even when they picked the call they just passed me from one dept to another.

What was meant to be a 10 working day SLA to activate broadband never happened even after several calls. They gave 3 more dates never to be adhered to. Complaints to customer services didn't go far as they just put me through to home dept who transferred to technical dept and so on. Call centre in India are crap and they even hung up after putting me on waiting for few min.

I eventually decided to exit EE (wish I had done that sooner) and went to BT who activated my phone and broadband in 5 working days exactly what they told me when signing up.

EE promised to refund the payment they took in Aug and asked me not to cancel direct debit as the funds will be returned through it but they had taken another payment 4 days ago, so I have another battle on my hand to get my money back.

I am so angry with EE that I am considering to also cancel my mobile contract with T-Mobile as it's now owned by EE, although there is nothing wrong with the mobile service (for now!)

I suggest it's worth your time and money, even if your are paying slightly more,to go with either BT or Virgin. I think they provide a far better service.
