    The worst ever experience I had today with customer service i been waiting for mor then 3 weeks and they promise to send engineer Monday but never seems to happen. I spoke to to them to find out today and they told my they have cancelled my order while they send me text messages says they are coming on Monday which is really disrespectful. I spoke to two of the managers but both of them they were very rude towards me shouting at me and they couldn’t sort it out my issue as wasn’t my fault they couldn’t offer anything . I don’t recommend this company very rude and very disrespectful!

    I have been with talk talk for 18 months.I looked at my bank account and found my monthly payment had doubled. I emailed them whereby they said they had sent an email to say my contract had expired on the 19th July 2022. I checked my email and I didn’t get one.I have asked to have that extra money back but they refused. They have offered me 35 fibre for my internet for the same price that I used to pay . I don’t think I will go for this .

    I won't recommend to others as I have had a bad customer experience and bad broadband connection without be rectified. I will advisement recommended friends to discontinue and change to a better one.

    I would put 0 if I could. I knew about if 3 years ago but still made the mistake and tried to enroll in the full fibre broadband. It’s been more than a month now I still don’t have wifi in my place. They canceled the engineer twice. I kept receiving message saying I would be updated within 48h on my order which never happened. Customer service kept saying they were escalating the issue but it never changed anything. The customer service was dreadful half of the people I spoke to were unable to find my order as my broadband hadn’t gone live yet which meant I spent hours over the phone 2 of them hanged up on me because they couldn’t find me and didn’t know what to do! I have never seen this, I really advise against going with them. I ended up canceling my order I d rather pay more and have internet than Havin no clue whether it is ever going to be put in place. I decided to cancel my order as no point in waiting for something that will probably never happen. Better to pay slightly more than to go through this again.

    Welp I'm filling a complaint and cancelling since not only can you not resolve the issue and you are costing me money for what should be a simple issue your customer service in passing me off to other departments for long ass que times within 2 minutes of reading the logs so I don't get served before you close tells me you are not the company to stick with

    Disgusting company Disgusting customer service. All we want to do is get a final bill and return equipment but even though they tell us everyday they have done it the next we get a message saying that the cancellation was cancelled! We no longer have a phone line or broadband with them but won't listen .
    Take my advice steer clear unless you want to be ill

    We are out of contract with talktalk and changed to a different provider they keep sending emails saying we are glad you have decided to stay with talktalk ,we are not staying wIting for a box to send their equipment back and have also asked for a copy of all the telephone conversations with them which everyone is legally entitled to .

    Broadband in question is brilliant. Unfortunately there billing is ripping customers off. And its difficult to complain. I had a contract with free TalkTalk TV for 3/4 of the previous contract. I renewed with free TalkTalk TV but was charged £4 anyway. Turns out I had TalkTalk TV £4 and TalkTalk TV FREE on my account. They cancelled my TalkTalk TV's but won't refund me £12 already spent as I am only just telling them about it now! So they have technically made it look like its free again and punishing me for not coming to them sooner. I could argue this but you have to call up again, wait on the line, ask to speak to a manager, then argue for 8 weeks before I can take my complain further. Not worth it but I am seriously considering moving away from talk talk as they have ripped off a long standing customer.

    Horrible service. We have moved out from the place where we used Talk Talk and cancelled our account and sent the router back as they have requested. 2 months later we are still being charged for money and their customer representatives on the phone are saying that our account was not cancelled so we have to do it again, wait 30 days and pay again. Proper scam. Their representatives also hang up the phone while waiting and were redirecting from one anohter. We spent 2 hours just waiting on the line and trying to talk to them

    Fine until your contract ends they don't warn you and double what you are paying. Make it extremely difficult to speak to someone strangely each time you say you want to end the contract the phone line goes dead. Then when your contract does end they take another direct debit admit you don't owe them money but tell you they won't allow you to request a refund for 7 days and it won't be automatic you have to phone up again and request your money back that you didn't need to pay in the first place.

    Customer service is based in South Africa and simply hard work ! the people are trained in process and not common sense
    And often the simplest of questions they have to go ask supervisors or fob you off to another department - including complaints who never did call me back - recommend calling home moves based in Ireland much more competent people ! Overall just hard work getting something simple sorted.

    Put up the price without telling me up to 17/calls about service cutting of twice a day for about 1 hr at the end of the contract I changed supplier but they still charge me so I talked to account department if I paid the full bill they would not send the debt people on me, so I paid and a week later I have another bill for late payment , and so it goes on

    How this company can stay in business is beyond my comprehension. I had issues with my broadband router only providing 1 mbit/s when I pay for 14 mbit/s. I got stuck in a loop with customer service asking me to run the same test 10 times with 10 different customer service representatives and wasting my time for several weeks. No solution, no compensation. They just ignored the issue. I changed the provider in the end. AVOID THIS SCAM!

    I renewed my contract in July. The deal was to receive an echo dot and smart plug in 30 days. Still haven't received them. I have phoned customer services 3 times to be told it will be with me next week. Still waiting and now it's October. Disgusting

    Customer service is appalling.
    You wait for 30+ minutes to speak to an advisor and then they cut you off. They know your number, and email but they do not bother to get in touch.

    This company chaotic and has the worst customer service I have ever come across. I have had no internet for 9 days now. There is no big problem. Openreach turned up saying they needed to reposition the external cable as it was lying too low. Trouble is they didn’t “reposition” it, they disconnected it and left the cable lying in my driveway. Said the only way I could get it back on was to contact Talktalk. So I did immediately and have spent hours every day since trying to contact someone at Talktalk to get it reconnected but this is proving impossible. Every single day they say it’ll be done in the next 1 to 3 days. We are now on day. NIne. This is actually making me I’ll now as I cannot work without the onterney and have no idea when, or even if, they will reconnect me. AVOID at all cost.

    Absolutely, shocking. Do not sign up with talktalk. After constant lost connections, hours on the phone with them, missed engineer visits, and now they agreed to cancel the contract and not charge the early cancellation fee due to all the problems we've had, and now they are sending final demands for the payment of the cancellation fee.

    Terribly run company. Avoid at all costs.

    I verbally subscribed to Talk Talk on the 31st September 2022 to two cold callers at my door. I was unsure and was late for an appointment, but was persuaded to subscribe when I was told I had 20 days to cancel. ( naively),I tried cancelling later that same day but couldn’t as they said they couldn’t find my contract. I tried and failed the next two days. By Tuesday 4 October I received a welcome pack from them with an order number. I tried ringing to cancel but was transferred eight times. One of these was customer services. I was told he was unable to help me and said it would affect my credit rating if I was to cancel any subsequent standing order. (which has not yet been set up.) I eventually did get through to someone who said he had arranged for it to be cancelled but he also told me not to cancel any standing order. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had and it appears to be bordering on the criminal. I would advise anyone thinking of signing up to doorstep callers, (or anyone else for that matter), from Talk Talk, not to.
    If I could give no stars I would.

    Disgusting company. The amount of people i have talked to is ridiculous they wont cancel my account with them even though they do not provide any services to my new addresss!!!!!!!! Absolutely sick and tired of talking to people who do not speak or understand english!. I have gotten cut off so many times and each time they promise not to cancel the call.... But they do and they never call back!!! They are lying cheating scumbags. Not to mention they increased my prices and charg3d me for sending me letters i never want3d.
    Avoiiiiiiddddddddddddd at all cost.

    After countless phonecalls and issues with my connection to the broadband it still hasn't been resolved, they have sent an engineer out because my internet randomly cut out at 5am in the morning and now charging me £50 to send the engineer out, they cut my line off and after a very painful phonecall they turned my internet back on but it's been nothing but issues (my router is working fine and they're saying there's an issue with my router) so I've tried 3 different routers and they're all doing the same thing, my internet just randomly turns off every 5 minutes for atleast 2 minutes, I have more downtime then I do uptime they say they're here to help but they're just money grabbing pieces of **** like the majority of companies out there. Be very careful when signing up with talktalk because they'll milk you for what you've got.

    Currently having to use my mobile hotspot to work from home rather than using my TalkTalk home broadband. Connection quality is absolutely atrocious. Very poor customer service and technical support.

    Wifi works - sales & customer success teams are cr*p. I got a call out the blue asking if I wanted a security add on for 4 pounds extra a month. I only had 6 months left of my contract so I said yes. The sneaky bloke added 18 months onto the contract but never asked me if I wanted this. I had to find out 5 months later when double checking all my last statements before going away travelling. I have since spent 8+ hours on multiple phone calls to them trying to get it resolved. I get bumped around teams and no-one wants to take accountability and switch me back to my original contract.
    Their complaints team called me back twice but there was no sound on the other line. I call their main line and get sent around different teams before eventually I get hung up on. This has happened to me 4 times today.

    Shambles of a company on repeated occasions.
    The staff are polite and use positive words suggesting help, but never actually seem able to back up with any meaningful actions:- often needing multiple agents to tackle with micro-components of what, pretty any other company would deal with as one task!

    When things go wrong, including technical issues, billing queries or indeed a simple home move, you will need to make yourself comfortable, as you will be on either Web chat or on a call for hours!

    Final straw was a home move, where we were looking to take the telephone number we'd had for 40years with us. Sounds simple, but took hours to arrange:-purely as the broadband speed at the new address would be slower.
    We'd ordered online, committed to verbally (to back it up) and awaited the move.

    Talk Talk managed to cancel our old service without issue, but when the engineer didn't show to set up at the new house, it turned out Talk Talk had cancelled the order for the new property without reason.

    Also meant that the number we had hoped to keep, was lost for all of eternity.
    As we needed a new number, there really was no other reason to keep Talk Talk as BT better value, more helpful and easier to deal with.

    Would recommend Talk Talk to only my worst enemies as will turn any simple matter, in to a thoroughly, spirit crushing experience.

    Motivated to leave this review because of the appalling deceit I had to suffer at the hands of a string of customer service call handlers and managers. Simply trying to end contract and allow new home owners to take over line after handling the Estate of my deceased parents. All I got were lies about inabilities to do this or that, then attempts to re-sell the contract to me. They could hear how upset and exasperated I was in dealing with them and they knew I was dealing with the recent death of my parent. I can only guess that call centre staff are set immoral and unachievable targets making it costly for them to listen to what a bereaved customer actually needs. AVOID THIS IMMORAL OUTFIT.

    Do not use services,
    Internet connection is extremely poor and they make it impossible to swithch or disconnect as it's only can be done over the phone and they drop all the phonecalls.
    It took me half a day to apply termination.

    By far the worst company I even had the nisfortune to deal with, left me for months with terrible connection, often unable to connect al all, made me wait 3 weeks for an engineer who never bothered to turn up not even call, Iinformed them, what did that disguting company do? PENALISE ME, £60 was stolen from me, it beggars belief and I am a vulnerable customer, talktalk always tell you how they prioritise vulnerable customers, they are worse than cowboys, I curse the day I joined that company from hell, CEO Tristia Harrison is clueless and doesn't give a damn how customers are treated, she doesn't mind sick and vulnerable customers getting screwed and they do, OFTEN but she is laughing.

    Appalling customer service, contacted them as my direct debit went from £28 to £56 the following month. I mentioned that I had received an email from them stating that if I did nothing the new charge would be £32.37 per month, however they had only included the Fibre 65 part of the bill and not comparing apples with apples. Eventually got past onto customer retention department and said they could refund a part of the fee from today's date as they would like to keep me in the Talk Talk family. Whilst most companies are trying to help customers during these difficult times, Talk Talk are misleading theirs and taking them for a ride

    I would have thought taking the trouble to phone them to ask if they want the router back after changing to another provider would have been welcomed, but instead because I was unable to supply them with the correct 'security details'. (Why would keep detail of a service I no longer use?) They refused to tell me how to send it back the only way is a prepaid bag they supply, customer services said she would send to me if she could confirm my identity. Apparently I now have to pay a £50.00 fee, What a scam, If they can't confirm my identity, can't see how they can charge me for anything? So they can take a long walk to nowhere. Ohyes, and the phone call cost me a few pounds because of the wait time, all for trying to do the right thing!

    Use this company at your peril. After 4 aborted engineer visits to fit fibre, 6 hours + on the phone, taking excess money out of our bank, and basically refusing to let us complain. This outfit have to be the most unprofessional bunch I have ever encountered. The keystone cops siding to mind. Don’t say you have not been warned !!!!
