This is probably hands down the worst WiFi you will ever get. I advise everyone who are looking to buy this to NOT.i tried calling them but to shut down my network but they keep telling me to call next month then when I do then they say to do it the next month and so on.this has been going on for 3 months now and on top of all of this there staff are very rude and on multiple occasions they charged me more that they were supposed to.

Such terrible customer service. I cancelled my order in March due to poor service. However, I tried switching again to a new provider in November and they have left a historic problem on the Openreach system meaning I can't switch and am stuck with my current provider. Talktalk simply say I have to talk to my new provider. They say the opposite. Raised a formal complaint. No result. Absolutely disgraceful and I am trying to Get Openreach and Ofcom to deal with it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Was with talktalk for 18 months until my contract run out, the WiFi was awful wouldn’t load videos films on Netflix or nowtv would buffer and wouldn’t be a clear picture, as soon as my contract run out they charged me £40 (was £19) when i rang in to complain their systems down and was told they would call back, they never did and I had an extra £30 bill on top of the other £30 in unpaid direct debit bills because they didn’t call back!

My reception kept cutting off. I spent a fortune trying to fix it. The advisors were not generally good at speaking English & passed me from person to person. It continually failed so I phoned to end my contract, again I was passed from person to person (why?). I paid 2 months fees for a service I was unable to use. Despite this, I have just got my third demand for payment. Although breaking their own conditions, they sold my "debt" to a debt collector & although the debt collector conceeded I owed nothing, Talk Talk keep your details & sell the supposed debt to a new debt collector every year - I have just recieved another demand. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. I now use a slightly more expensive friendly British company & have had no problems & a broader service. DO NOT USE TALK TALK THEY ARE BAD IN EVERY WAY!

Avoid Talk Talk don't buy broadband from them.
Ive bought a broadband that should start working on 13 November. Today is 19 November at is still not working. I`ve lost 6 hours spent on phone and chat - no resuls. Service is completly useless and do not help at all. (Be ready to transfering to around 5 different people and book 45min to chat with nothing).
I had to cancel this service and they sent me a bill to pay - for what? Im asking. Is not even started working...
Now I have to wait 14 days for new broadband. Summarizing thanks to Talk Talk I have to wait arounn full one month for a Internet connection. Never buy anything from them becouse they will send you useless broadband and you will have to buy broadban from other supllyer at the end. Wast of time - nobody can refund your personal time but they don care about it.

Speeds are slow (on the lower end of what's advertised), generally reliable. However, the biggest issue with Talk Talk is their customer service. Agents, although generally very nice, have little to no power to actually help; every single enquiry will last at least an hour, often closer to two hours. They will take every opportunity to squeeze as much money from you as possible. They will try to charge you extra or extend your contract as much as possible. They don't expect you to notice or kick up a fuss and they will disregard their own terms and conditions if it means they can try to charge you for another month. We were their customers for almost 2 years. Never again

i have changed fiber optic last year and every now & then it stalls freezes in which it has been for the last 4 days or so and every time you ring talk talk they have you there for bloody ages & my life revolves round them & i am getting frustrated and angry

Wifi slows down ridiculously from one day to the next. Spent an hour with customer service trying to get an answer as to why, absolute waste of time... We changed from virgin earlier this year, big mistake!

Had an issue with the phone line and it took them 3 weeks just to send someone out to fix and now my broadband doesn't work. Spend hours on the phone and no solution... so moving to a different provider.

Switched from greedy Virgin Media with next price rise. It was unbelievable the broadband price raised 350% for 7 years. TalkTalk offered the honest speed of 67Mbps for 1/3 less price plus huge top cashback deal. So I not hesitated and booked the connection with the engineer. The Engineer came in the booked time and was really polite. Did everything we asked, even moved the socket to a more convenient place for free. Now we have 2nd month of TalkTalk broadband. The router is perfect with full house coverage by WiFi. Just realise how bad was router from Virgin. Speed, a bit less, but stable and with the positive surprise the upload speed is 30% faster than was in Virgin.
Obviously as many people as more problems, just read the reviews and found this mostly negative. Definitely recommend this company, it has a big chance to become the best if follow the people feedback in other areas. Thank you.

Talk talk is not to be trusted as a provider of either broadband or TV provider. And if you have a problem don't expect less than a 45minute Wait on the phone before you get to speak to an agent .when you get through they don't know what they are doing. Talk talk is use less

Internet connection has been terrible! Every evening doesn't work. Contacting talk talk is a nightmare to get through to speak to a actual person and not a machine! Then when connected with a person to speak connection is so bad you can hardly hear a word they are saying! Having problems with my internet for a whole now nothing seems to be getting done with the situation same thing told twice engeenier will come out to look at problem and still same issue don't even think anyone is even coming out to sort the problem if I'm honest. Wouldn't recommend talk talk to any body. Can't wait until I'm out of contract with them and then will be going with a new provider.

An absolute farce!
Slow to install. Even slower to cancel as they can continue to charge you all the same. I have left to go to a different country, my 12 month contract was continued with me knowing. I am not allowed to access my online account from abroad. I phone up to cancel and am assure dit is to find 3 weeks later they have not, meaning I am charged another 2 months.Have spent over an hour on hold as they refuse to phone back.It is a farce.

Dropped out often.
Appalling service on trying to leave. Continued to try to take money. Then when I cancelled DD they sent me a nasty email with threats to report to a credit agency and a late charge. Took 2 calls to get this reversed .

I find it impossible to deal with these people, after complaining about my extreamly slow speed (1.95 bps) ,they keep saying theres nothing wrong with my connection. They have sent me a new router,no differance. There communicating skillls are non exsistant. I have still got 8 months on my contract, otherwise i'd be away from them like a shot.

Had numerous problems with phone line reception for years due to flooding in phone ducting. Been called a liar several times by Customer Service by poor speaking representatives. Did receive £45 as compensation. Broadband and Internet now so poor towards contract end (2months to go). Read this is not unusual, have reported problem with South African lady rep on a line with loud voices in background who sounded so bored I almost asked her if she should change jobs!! Now I can't receive a rest password from Talktalk because my service is disgusting slow, Royal Mail would be quicker. Will I renew even at £0.00 a month? not likely!

I was trying to chase vouchers they offer for joining. They just keep telling you to wait 30 working days. The complaints I've seen online tell you that you'll never get the vouchers They've been pulling this vouchers scam for two years. You also have to chat on the computer because they cut you off on the phone.

I agree with a lot of the other reviews about poor slow broadband, and terrible customer service if you want to leave.
I had to try to speak to someone in what sounded like South Africa ( with a party going on in the background ) tried every trick to avoid me ending contract. Tried to demand details of my new ( temporary ) accommodation as part of my house move despite being told several times I would not need broadband as there was no phone line, and indeed due to poor service I would not use them. Then tried to demand the details of the person purchasing my hose so they could get them to take on the contract ( what happened to data protection ? ).At the end now demanding £ 100.00+ to terminate a contract @ around £27.00 per month. Just total rip off artists as the internet speed is a fraction of what is quoted. Some statutory intervention required here.

Absolutely terrible. Broadband. Customer service. Just everything is negative. Phoned then few days after. Been on phone over hour. Reimburst £5. Refused then £10. I want my full bill and sercixe bck. Reported to OFGEM. Defiantly would not recommend.
One sentence. Worst company ever expereinced. Should have stuck with Sky.

Since being with broadband I have had numerous problems. Upgraded to a 'faster' service.... Still had same problems. Can't seem to get the issue sorted even thou they tell me that there is a problem with my line and sent out 3 engineers I still have an intermittent Internet that comes on and off when it pleases. Staff are always polite on phone however it takes ages to get through to them

Save your money. Don't use them. Daylight robbery. Punitive termination fees £61, below the average customer service, below the UK legal requirements broadband speed- only 5.6Mbps for a updated contract which guarantees 35Mbps. Incompetent. Greedy. Firm.

First, it took a month to get internet working despite being paying. At the end of the contract, they charged us one month extra after we managed to cancel the contract and argued that the system bills "in advance" automatically. There is no way to contact the customer service to cancel your contract and when you finally do (through another provider) they keep invoicing you well after the service has been interrupted. Avoid them!

If I could give it zero stars I would. No internet service, spent hours of my life answering the same frustrating questions to multiple different people spending hours on hold etc never having the problem fixed until I finally said I’ve had enough and am cancelling my contract. The calls centre were abroad, rude and time wasting. I finally caved and agreed to pay 25% of a contract breakage fee just to stop them wasting any more of my life, to then be sent to a debt collectors because they didn’t sort it as promised and then back and forth between departments who tried to call me a liar before finding records of the conversations, to then quibble over £1.57 that hadn’t been paid for because someone had taken the wrong amount from my card. THE most awful company. Steer well clear. Hopefully they will go bust so no one has to endure the soul sucking creatures that work for them.

Poor and border to legal.
I was until Feb 2019 on a Broadband and Line Rental ONLY contract when they added the £4 TV fee. As my contract was Broadband and Line Rental ONLY I would not have expected to add to my bill a TV boost without my consent. They have now repay the £4 charge they had applied for month after a week of arguments.
I have left TalkTalk now and will advise anybody to stay clear of them.

Been with these a long time. Now they are total garbage! Customer service give me the run round, I dont understand what the people in customer service are saying, they seem to be based in a different country and they are certainly out to pull the wool over my eyes regarding not informing me that my contract date is soon to expire, so they charge me double on my latest bill. I have been hung up on twice in two days trying to sort it out. The do not seem customer orientated, Its about profit and bottom line not customer satisfaction. In recent months I have read talktalk have had big problems with security. Plus they are most probably paying Simon Cowell and the other three judges on the X Factor way too much so that's is one reason they now feel they have to fleece existing customers. Well they can X Factor off!!!

I've been TalkTalk loyal customer for over 10 years now and I'm afraid I have to say, since my last contract with them, they are simply one of the worst broadband service ever.

My contract: Fast Fiber Broadband (download: 79mg, upload 20mb) SO IT'S SAYS. Instead of what it says in the package I got 10mg download and 1mg upload. So they only offer 10% of what they promised and not only that the line keep disconnecting at least two times a day and since last week it's been disconnecting more than FIVE times a day.

They send over SEVEN "technicians" with so little knowledge as the connection problem keeps getting worst and weaker every day!

SUCH A TERRIBLE COMPANY with POOR customer care and VERY LITTLE KNOWLEDGE of technicians.
AVOID GOING TO TalkTalk AT ALL COST.

Been with talk talk for 5 days 29/10/19 lost internet all day on 3/11/2019 it's now the 4/11/19@04.08 and still no broadband...I will be looking up other broadband dealers as talk talk a joke..customer service is a joke...broadband speed on the 4 days it worked is a joke fast fibre is a joke with talk talk..I advice people to double check before joining..funny let's me log onto ma BILL...

Rubbish I joined back in March tried to cancel it but they wouldn't have it they are still billing me for every month trying to sort it out with them cause I was never conected in the first place they said I owe them £180 what a con any idea what I can do definitely would not recommend since then I've joined another provider ee no problem

The worst internet provider i have ever come across in my life. Scam artists at their best. penalise customers who go over their 1 year plan by doubling the cost. they make leaving them the hardest process ever. theyll keep you on the line for 30min plus.

The internet would simply stop working. Got to a point where i was using my mobile data 90% of the time i was home. slow when it did work. every time i did complain they would say 2 many devices in my household (i live alone).

Please avoid this company. they do not care, they know about the issues and if you complain they just keep you on the line and lie. Dont give them your money. let them go out of business.
