    Talk Talk are a Company that cares about their customers. I was given excellent service they were able to resolve my problem and I was highly impressed by the office staff who dealt with my difficulty the lady went that extra mile to resolve the problem that had occurred. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to my family and friends.

    I have been with Talk Talk since September 2014 and signed up to the broadband and phone plan. I had few problems and was happy with the service.

    In December, I decided to upgrade to the 18 month Broadband, Phone and Plus TV plan at £9.50 a month plus line rental for 12 months. I explained to the agent that I was away for Xmas and they said that the TV box would be held at my local post office for me to pick up when I arrived home. I arrived home and had no tv box. I emailed the delivery company and did not get a reply. I also realised that Talk Talk had charged me just over £35 for the plan and emailed talk talk customer service who replied saying that the plan was £35 and if I wanted a discount then I should pay line rental up from for a year and then would get a discount on line rental.

    Obviously I was annoyed and frustrated at this as the plan I had signed up to was the advertised discount price of £9.50 plus line rental for 12 months. I then phoned up Talk Talk (January) who told me that the half price plan had been cancelled for no reason but that they would renew it for me with the discounted price for 12 months on an 18 month contract and that they would refund me the difference. I also explained that I had not received my tv box and they said that I should receive it soon.

    I then rang again around a week later as I could not see that my plan had changed and they said that the system would not let them change it to 12 months only six months and that I would need to ring up in six months time to add another six months on. I said that I was not happy with this and they said that there was nothing that they could do. I explained that I had still not received my tv box and they said that it had only just been sent and that I needed to be patient.

    I then rang up a week later explaining that I had still not received my tv box that I was being charged for and the agent said it had been cancelled in December for no reason and that he would re-send it. I also explained that I was unhappy as I should have a discounted plan for 12 months and not 6. The agent said that he would speak to his manager and do me a great deal and came back offering me a discounted plan for five months. This is when I went high pitched and asked to speak to the manager as I should already be on a 12 month discount and he was offering me a lower time than the six months I was already on and the agent said I was not to worry and that he would do me a great deal without me speaking to a manager. The agent came back and said that he had put me on the 18 month contract for a discounted price for 12 months, re-sent the tv box and an engineer would be with me next Monday. Basically what I had signed up for in December. I phoned a few days later asking how the engineer was going to fit the tv box without a tv box as I had still not received it. The agent asked me if I wanted a tv box as it had been cancelled in December. I asked to speak to a manager who was very rude to me and asked if I wanted the tv box as it had been cancelled. Again I explained that I had not cancelled it and that I had been charged for a service I had not received so she gave me a £5 discount. The manager then put me onto the 'loyality department'. The agent re-sent me a tv box, put me on an 18 month contract with 12 months discount.... that was today. I'll update what happens.

    In short Talk Talk are outrageous and have no customer service skills. They cancel your plan for no reason, cancel deliveries for no reason, charge you for a service you do not have and when you speak to a manager they are rude and transfer you to a different department because they do not want to deal with your call.

    In general, I don't complain but this service had been so unbelievable that I have had too!

    I actually would give TalkTalk a five star rating the Internet is so fast, I was actually in two minds with going with talk talk, I did make the right decision.

    Can't really comment on customer service as I've never had to contact them. I've had the faster fibre (38Mb) for just over a week now and haven't had a problem at all. After reading the reviews here I was worried about switching so have been closely monitoring the speed with regular speed test. Generally it sits at about 35-37Mb/s, I'd say about 95% of the time it's at this speed. Sometimes during peak times it dips to about 20 and once it went down to 14. Never had to reset the router and I get good signal to my phone all over the flat. Couldn't be happier that I switched.

    I have found Talk Talk to be the cheapest and most reliable, never having a problem and managing to upgrade and getting a great deal! I had Sky which kept dropping the internet so found the next cheapest and has been great!

    I get fantastic speeds day and night, roughly around 15Mb. The service is great and I use the forums rather than the phone if I need something. It gets done a lot faster. The price is extremely good value, and includes everything I need. I don't have any disconnections or cut outs, its always stable and there if I need it. Absolutely no problems.

    I live in a rural area, and after looking through these reviews I've come to the conclusion that my talktalk fibre optic broadband must be faulty. I get just over 33mb which is only 5mb down from the 'upto' 38mb advertised, I am a mile away from the exchange in our village, not a problem. My phone connection has been perfect. I have the plus tv package. The YouView box that talktalk supply isn't the best, just ok there. I have my tv, blueray, Sky, YouView and my AV reciever plus my computer and multi mobile phones conneted to the internet 24/7 and not a hitch when watching films on netflixs, youtube etc. I must say the service, for me, is excellent. I've been with talktalk for over four years.

    Been with talk talk for years now, left BT as there service was terrible they limited my broadband speeds all the time and would not admit it. In the end I decided to switch looked around and not trusting any providers I went with the cheapest which at the time was talk talk, started with there adsl service wasn't quite as fast as what BT provided us but they didn't limit speeds at all so was very happy. Then I moved to another area switching my service to another house was super simple decided to go to fibre wanted the fastest they provided but the lady on the phone advised me that in my area the medium fibre was the fastest they could offer so it would be cheaper for the same service (was very pleased with this) since having there fibre still not throttling my speeds at all and has been reliable the whole time. Then Thursday last week my phone and BB stopped working, left it Thursday thinking maybe it will get fixed, Friday no joy so phoned up Friday about 5pm all automated just gave my phone number, they immediately diverted calls to my mobile. I didn't expect anything to happen over the weekend as I assumed it was a line fault, first thing Monday morning engineer turns up at the door and two hours later it's fixed. As it turns out it was BT open reach that had used my line for someone else's house. The only thing that talk talk could do to improve my service would be to get rid of BT all together (I know this isn't possible)

    Be for I had the normal braudband and was getting 6mbps off peek and on peak I was getting 1-2mbps so I upgraded to medium sized fibre, witch instead if all copper cables its fibre to the green box down the road then copper cable to my house. Full fibre is no copper cables at all witch it better. but my medium fibre speed im getting it 32-38mbps off peek and at peek times like between 6pm and 9pm I get about 20-30mbps witch is plenty for me and no more buffering..so WELL DONE. talktalk you deserve this good review.

    4 years ago my TalkTalk was not at reliable. They sent an engineer who tuned the line and everything has been perfect since. The visit should have been free because there was no fault my end but they did charge me. However I rang them up, they admitted the mistake and refunded immediately. Be polite and understanding - we all make mistakes. I don't normally ring them I use their message service - again just be polite and patient and they will sort everything out. When my contract is up I message them and they sort out the best price without having to haggle (unlike Virgin). I've renewed my contract 3 times now and each time the price has got cheaper - they are very competitive. They also guarantee no price rises during your contract.

    I had the pleasure of speaking to customer service provider Mary - Jane, she not only conducted herself to the highest of standards but was extremely polite and helpful. I had the issue that needing sorting fixed within a matter of minutes and all her best efforts were focused towards ensuring i was happy with the service and protecting my services in the future.     I moved house on the Saturday after lockdown and I cannot thank Talk Talk enough for the great service provided. When I phoned up about moving, I got brilliant service, and was moved to a better and more suitable contract. Also, because of the way Talk Talkalk is connected, I could still watch all my recordings on my Talk Talk box before connection. I got a call from a connecting engineer and he talked me through the process of connection. Then Talk Talk checked my lines for speed, and transferred my phone number without any problems. Thank you Talk Talk for being there for me during the start of lockdown when it was very hard to get any services.

    Ive been with talk talk for nearly 4 years and I haven't had any problems with them. When I joined they lived up to their word and the deal started on the day agreed. On renewing I rang and was advised wrongly on the deal I wanted, but when I foned again the guy advised me the right deal and explained the deal and the extras I got with it.
    The b/band speed has been fine for us, we just had to add fibre, to pick up the sky channels. I've always found them helpful and knowledgeable and explained everything and any price involved.

    switched homes with talktalk the line was activated on the day i was promised and bt engineer come to the house fitted new sockets and tested speed i pay 76 but i recieve between 76 to 80 been with talktalk since the start and never really had much problems ditch their own routers of my personal experiance there rubbish go buy your self a good make vdsl one instead

    Very impressed,it was easy to register over the phone and had a call just before the installation.The broadband and phone was installed within half an hour and the broadband is super fast at a great price.I used to have Virgin media and this seems the same,very fast.I don't get the negative reviews!

    I'm not one to review, but felt compelled to with regard to my talk talk broadband. My contract with another, shall we say 'leading internet provider' and looked around a bit for a better deal. Long story short I chose Talk Talk and tentatively signed up. Fast forward a month, the speed is as fast as my previous provider and (here's the really good bit) it is HALF THE PRICE! I really couldn't be more pleased, and had to share it with people who are midst searching..

    From the start Talktalk have been amazing and I have have never had such a great service from a telecommunications company. They kept me upto date by text and email every step of the way. Now they have cancelled my EE service and I'm 8 days in my Talktalk which includes fibre, landline calls and a sim card. Straight out of the box it ran 26mb/s but after a week of them tweaking it I am now running 37mb/s. I'm so pleased I changed to Talktalk they have been perfect and the services and speeds are great. I will be staying with them and I've never been happier.

    Very good, good speed and there's 4 tablets on at a time in my house.it was running but slow a few months ago either sent engineer out he didn't turn up but the speeds have been good again and received £50 for engineer missing my appointment

    Decided to give Talktalk a go mainly on cost. Changing over was painless and seemless. No complaints on reliabilty or speed.

    Having been a customer of both sky and virgin before joining TalkTalk I can honestly say I am delighted with the service. It's cheaper, more reliable and faster, I have had no problems. Thank you, would recommend TalkTalk to everyone.

    I was initially with Vodaphone broadband but I left them as the connection was awful. I switched to talk talk and I have to say I don't think I will ever go back to any other broadband. My broadband was installed on the day it was supposed to right on time, the engineer was very friendly and quick. It said in the leaflet that it would take a few days for the connection to be strong however the connection was fantastic a few hours after he installed it. Connection also comes everywhere in the house and my house is a decent size. Over all very please with the service and product, would certainly recommend it if you are looking for something affordable and reliable!

    renewed my contract for the fastest fibre a few months ago. have had absolutely no problems with talk talk. the service has been fast with an average 50mbps and no dropouts. only used their customer service when negotiating renewal and a week ago when orering the new wifi hub, everything was very efficient. would recommend them to any user.

    I guess that I must be the exception that proves the rule. Change over from BT (at least three price rises in a year) due for 26 July 18 equipment arrived on 24 July 18. I can honestly say that I did not notice the change over, except for my landline going down for 5 mins. On contract for 68 meg+ checked my speed half an hour after the change over presumably took place, I was getting 58.4 and that should increase over the coming days. At this point 18 hours in I am that most exclusive of customers completely satisfied.

    I have found TT perfectly OK, apart from the October scam last year (which I spotted straight away) TT has served me well. Price wise can not be beaten, speed for fast fibre is good. Whenever I need customer support (which is rare) always satisfied me. I know TT has had some bad feedback BUT I talk as I find. I have NO connection with TT just a satisfied customer.

    After some initial problems I eventually got in touch with someone called Anita and I cuold not fault her S he solved the problem the following day She is a credit to talk talk it is a shame the rest of the people I spoke to are not as efficient Look after her and your company will be a lot better for it.     I don't usually review anything, but my recent experience with TalkTalk was so impressive that I wanted to give my experience which was so different to many here.
    I did have a problem a year ago with my TT router dropping out. TT arranged for Openreach to check the cables and a new external drop line and box were fitted. It didn't cure the dropping out completely, so TT sent me a new router which worked perfectly. I've recently upgraded to fibre and TT's latest router on a very reasonable deal. Communication with TT was as good if not better than I've had from any utilities service provider and the end result is amazing. I'm so impressed I feel compelled to report that not every situation and experience is the same no matter who we deal with.

    I have been with TalkTalk so long it used to be Tiscali. I am very satisfied with the service I get from them. The new chat on customer support may be slow to respond but you get through to someone almost instantly.

    Speeds have usually been above what they say. I pay for 76Mbps but usually get around 79 to 80.

    The only problem I have ever had was the Router started to play up after about 2 years. It kept disconnecting or going very slow. so I bought a new one.

    Moving home was a perfect experience too. you tell them when you want to cancel at your old address and when you want it to start at the new one.

    The engineer came round and connected a socket and tested the line and was gone in about 15 mins. Then a couple of hours later everything was up and running. Speed was up and down for a couple of days but no problems since then.

    I would definitely consider buying your own router for the VDSL as a good one from TP-Link has many more useful features.

    Seen so many people that are quick to leave a terrible review when they are having issues but not so fast to leave a good one when happy. I made the move to TalkTalk from BT cutting my bill down by almost 2/3. The speed is exactly what they promised and I am so happy with my choice even though I was hesitant due to the bad reviews. Great service!!

    Changed from BT to TalkTalk 4 days ago with no problem at all. It was changed over at the time arranged and I was extremely surprised how straight forward the whole process went considering some of the negative feedback. The speed of the internet was as promised and stays pretty much stable with the extra security on phone and internet an unexpected bonus. Overall I am extremely happy with the cost of my package and would not hesitate to recommend TalkTalk
