simple dreadful left my mother 75 year old with out phone for 19 days and counting and have heard a list of excuses, problem will be resolved by midnight in 2 days , x 3 , not our issue problem with openreach, we will call you back x 2 never happened, we cant call you back, computers not working so we cant update you please call back tommorow.

Been with talk talk for the past few yrs even knowing that talk talk is not good. Upgraded to fibre on May 11th 2017. Got message that it will be live from 22nd of May 2017. Never received the router for fibre broadband. Kept ringing them for the new router and been told that one will be sent few days before the fibre goes live. Never happened withn the time period. Kept ringing two to four times a week and everytime the customer services is from a different country and they don't have a clue at all. Got an email on 11th of July saying my fibre is live and got disconnected from the internet. Internet stopped working, no new router. Had to ring every day two to three times but no straight answer. Atlast after a two months and one week, upon very fierce arguments reiterating how we are losing our patients and income as professionals they sent an engineer from BT who came and checked the outside lines to say that everything is fine. Then we have to ring again and request for a new router which was sent after two days. Very horrible customer services and customer relations. No one in customer services work with a brain.

I am going to switch to another provider immediately

Internet goes off every 10 mins, customer service staff dont know what they are talking about and can not even speak English we told them we needed a engineer and they said no there is nothing wrong with the line at last we got a engineer out he said there is a fault with the line, phoned back up they still insisted there is nothing wrong also tried charging us £50 for engineer coming out.

They told us we would be getting no less then 7.5 Mbps we are not even getting 5 Mbps, we told them they had broke there T&C but they said there will be a £9 charge per month left on the contract so we told them to canal it and we will pay the money (total of £66)

Pay that bit more and go with a good company.!!!!!!!

was on a 18 month contarct at our first flat. then we decided to move house and was tricked into thinking that we were on the same plan but instead our price gone up by £8 and the plan was renewed. absolutly disgusted with the way they treated me and hope they get whats coming to them. DONT GET TALK TALK

DO NOT EVEN CONTEMPLATE USING TALKTALK the customer service is absolutely DIABOLICAL, THE absolute worst customer service experience in my entire life. The advisors are barely understandable and extreamly rude. They don't update their data systems and you end up repeating your self untill you feel suicidal. These people are the most un professional, unorganised and incompetent customer service team I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with and I am thankful that I will never have to deal with them again. UNBEARABLE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Useless Customer Service since August 1st we have had 1 engineer and 2 new talk talk boxes....still not working...and now I have to wait 2 more weeks for a 2nd engineer!!!!oh and to top it they cant refund my money untill they have resolved the problem.

In short, if you hate someone so much that you are wishing him/her dead, all you need to do is to highly recommend talktalk phone line and broadband to that person, talktalk will take care of the rest! And continue to check arbitury section of local newsletters.

Please , this company is the worst ever in all aspects .
I have lost the WiFi for three days before my exam with no explanation .
Talking to services is useless , no respecr .
Cancellation process is bad keep billing you without service
They have lost the data through their unuseful website .

Disgusting customer service I found out last week after spending months trying to access my online account that they had raised my bill in October 2015 I had no notification and the man I spoke to this morning admitted that he could see from the system that no notification was sent. A manager I spoke to yesterday was very rude and sarcastic and told me it was my fault that I didn't know about the price increase and that I was liable for finding things out for myself because I joined up online. He tried to tell me I hadn't spoken to anyone when signing up which is a lie as I didn't want to go in blind they are refusing to let me leave without paying a cancellation fee which I think is disgusting I told them that if they couldn't be bothered to send me notification of a price increase (during a fixed contract) then I can't be bothered to pay a cancellation fee all I keep getting is we can lower your bill for the rest of your contract blah blah no help no compassion they need shutting down in my opinion

Poor customer service, kicking you to the other colleagues constantly. Let you spend the whole day with no problem solved, waiting on hold for at least 2 hours. Charging and charging. Can't get rid of it once you order a braodband services.

This is one of the worst internet connection I’ve ever used, it constantly freezes or stops working for no reason and it won’t load the pages even when you are connected it will just keep coming up with timed out because the connection is so slow. I would not recommend this broadband to anyone, the customer service is almost as bad.

Worst provider ever. plus tv package ties you down for 24months. initially before apparantly agreeing to this i was receiving 14mb. Ever since recieving 1.9mb. The youview box is slow and rarely works as the internet speed is so slow. Impossible to leave mid-contract as the only way to void contract is to have an unresolved ticket open for 28days. every time you complain the agent just closes the ticket anyway so you can never achieve this. every time i have phoned customer service the least amount of time i have been on hold is 15minutes. Would recommend anyone looking to join should go sky or bt instead

Countless problems with both internet and phone line. Takes hours to using phone to actually speak to anyone and they hang up and have to start all over again. Same happens with talktalk chat they just disconnect you and you have to start all over again. I also recieved 16 cold calls in the one day. When i used who called me it says it talktalk sales team. How idiotic can you be when i am already a customer. If you cancel payment because it doesn't work they threaten you with debt collectors. Sales teams are UK based but if you have any issues all technical help and complaints is India and they are near impossible to understand. They are also rude and if you as soon as you get a bit wound up with the slow progress they just disconnect you. Amateur outfit. DO NOT USE TALKTALK!!!

Worst broadband provider ever, bad customers support, takes 1hour to only Ask when they will finaly connect my fibre broadband which i bought half Year ago and have only 3,7mbs speed. All the time testing line and telling to wait 48 hrs, then test again, upgrading router, wait 48hrs, booking appointments with engineer which comes on wrong day or not come at all... Told on online chat that i wants to cancel my broadband with them and they didnt answer. Im going to report them and apply for money refund for this very very nad service. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Agents don’t speak very well English, enough to understand that the connection is slow and not working. Put on hold for 15 minutes only to then be put on hold again with no solution! Then rather than fix the issue, they came we are connected to too many devices. We were only connect to 1!

It is by far the worst broadband customer service ever. Its complete waste of time making them understand English.They are getting paid no not do there jobs properly. I have rang loads of times and still after that and still the same problem. They really are a disgrace company with customer service, they might get one right here and there with there customers but seriously I have rang countless of times and still in the same boat with them. I will never ever use there service again I rather have nothing then use them again I will never turn to talk talk again and I hope one day someone sorts this customer service out and get all staff to do there Job properly

I do not usually write reviews but the level of frustration and confusion of dealing with Talk Talk customer service and the poor internet speed, compelled me to warn others to avoid getting into a contract with them. The process of leaving is also incredibly painful. I have spent hours on the phone, pasted from pillar to post by incompetent people. Truly shocking, its a wonder this company still operates.

Should be able to give 0 stars. I wish I had read these reviews before attempting to switch to Talk Talk their customer service is appalling. I put all my details into the online system and was recommended a package, so chose what was recommended. Received a phone call the next day t advise me that I couldn’t have this package at my addresses. I was passed from pillar to post, having my order cancelled and supposedly starting a new one. By the time I got the fourth person on the phone, I was told I already had an order and that I couldn’t process another. It didn’t help that not one of the people I spoke to could speak English properly. I would rather pay the extra £25 a month to stay with BT.

I am thoroughly horrified by the customer service deriving from the office based in South Africa. The staff are neglectful, rude and fall far short of professional conduct. As a customer, I had to spend one hour speaking to a representative, with no attempt to offer help or to resolve my issue. It is outrageous to take so much of a customer's time and not to provide the service that is necessary.
It is no wonder that countless people are appalled by the service of Talk Talk. I would not recommend Talk Talk to anybody as it fails to treat customers with even the most basic courtesy. The incompetent service is shocking in every aspect.

Well where do I start I left sky for talk talk as the price convinced me as it was the cheapest around we have had talktalk installed 3weeks now and we have not been able to watch 5 minutes of tv and the Internet never ever works, contacted the customer service which is also APPALLING we have been without tv and Internet for 3 weeks which is affecting my work... £117 a month for nothing absolutely disgusting I strongly advise not to go with talktalk CON ARTISTS!!!!!!!

Very poor service. Spent hours and hours on Telephone. No appreciation of customers time. Poor Call handling and communication. Very poor response from Chief executive office. Had to go to Communications Ombudsman. At last proper apology letter from the Chief Executive office of Talk - talk on the direction of Communications Ombudsman's directions.

Don’t trust this business, just lose your money time and give you big headache. for first installation they send an “engineer” to check if you just connect the wires, that’s it. And you have no service for next engineer in few weeks, then you will probably have service “if you are really lucky” on top of that “the engineer “ is not showing. Imagine minimum 3 times stayed at home waiting not working not earning money, paying for car prak...in total you lose 3 times of what you pay them in a year contact! Don’t risk it. You are the biggest loser:(

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER... WORST COMPANY EVER..

Self-employed and home based..I have subscribed for the fibre and never had it since 1month now due to the fact that they never access the situation before selling you services. Lost 2 valuable client and 10K.
Disrupt all my work flow and scheduled..had to drive 15miles with a baby in a car to share fibre of a friend.. Last but not the least I was hacked by scammer using talktalk pitch to approach me. they Had all my personal details in advance which I believe was leak internally by talktalk.. Had me to download a saoftware called "teamviewer" which allow them to access your device remotely..
Talktalk customer service basically told me it was my fault as I allowed scammer to invade my privacy because they have put advert everywhere to inform their client..NO empathy, no concern about client and mainly giving you false informations especially when it comes to technical appointment.

I am definatily not finish with them yet eventhough I'm switching to another provider right away..

OOh the best part they asked me to pay cancelation fees for a services they have never provided to me..REally!?

Talk Talk is absolute the worst! In both Broadband and Customer Services. My best advice is never ever to go with them, unless you want to be put on hold and transferred to different departments back and forth for at least 10 times!

This company is an absolute joke . I have had months without broadband working sufficiently , no body ever gets back to you when they say they will and to top it all off they have now taken 65.00 in charges I don't owe after telling me on Wednesday it was there mistake . I urge anyone to think twice before using this company . The get out fees are a joke so I now have to put up with this until march

This company needs to revamp its customer service!!!!!!

I used Talk Talk for just over five years, then due to re-development around my property, which was actually being knocked down for a new estate complex, I contacted Talk Talk to inform them that my property will be demolished and I was moving away to an area where Talk Talk was not available, therefore cancel my subscription. This was approximately a three months notice.

Then around 15 months later I received a statement/invoice for around £160 for using their broadband service at the property which by now did not exist (completely knocked down a few weeks after I left.

On various lengthy discussions direct with Talk Talk they were claiming I never cancelled the contract. Getting nowhere directly with their Customer Service Departmeny I got the CAB involved, and after asking for the recorded tape (with payment) of my original cancellation discussion they never contacted me again.

However, a few moths ago I received a debt collection letter asking to pay the debt on Talk Talk that had now increased t over £200…..

Firstly, what person would call a company informing that their property was being demolished and would want to continue with a subscription to a service they could not use???? And why does this company pass this onto a debt collection company when they have not even provided a thread of evidence that I never requested a cancellation when they first claimed they had my conversation recorded and never asked for the subscription to be cancelled and then at a later date claimed I never called them????

My advice too anyone dealing with this company to do it in writing and recorded delivery and not over the phone….

Please do not use talk talk as they are so bad. They increased the monthly charge to promise us a faster speed but it is pretty slow and it keeps dropping. When you called the customer service they are not able to sort that out. We are really fed up.
