Genuinely the most consistently bad connection I've ever experienced. The internet drops for an hour or so about 3 times a week. When I've used the customer service, they've been helpful but problems always come back after a while. When not dropping, the speeds are average at best and very poor at worst. Would not reccomend to anyone

I had a very bad experience with this company the customer service is the worst ever. Very rude and nobody can help you! So I decided to change the provider.

Absolutley awful!!!
Broadband speeds of 0.1mbps!
I've been with Talktalk for almost a year and have been reporting problems ever since I joined.
4 times they sent out an engineer to locate the problem but not fix it and then closed my case with an email to tell me the problem was sorted.
5 times I've not been able to get to anyone on the phone and the automated system has cut me off whilst trying to follow up my problem.
I was told people would call me and never did.
And I've just been informed I can't get compensation because I havent called up enough within the same month to complain about this problem, after they told me to give them 30 days to fix it and cut me off even when I did try to call back. I'm tied into a 2 year contract.
DO NOT USE.

We have a recurring problem where the internet drops repeatedly over a period of days to a point where it renders the broadband useless and we have to buy alternative methods of getting online or use our mobile phone to get wifi for the computers. This time we have pretty much been without internet since Friday (today is Monday) but they can't send someone until Tuesday (tomorrow). That's 4 days of waiting to possibly but not definitely have the problem fixed (they haven't been able to identify the issue so far and this will not be the first time they send out a technician). This time our landline is also affected and there is so much noise on the line that it's impossible to use the phone.
I can honestly say that this is the worst internet connection and worst service I have experienced in 22 years of being online.

have been without a landline for 3weeks am elderly and am promised visits from an engineer which doesn't happen.It is costing me a fortune in mobile phone bills as I am on payas you goI wish that I had never heard of this appaling company

The router has become troublesome, arbitrarily slowing to less than 10% of expected speed and heating up. Only short term solution is to switch off and let the router cool down. In addition, using an IP phone requires a static IP and the provider does not allow this.

Genuinely the worst internet i have ever used, download ranges from 11 to 14mbps and then for like a minute or 2 it goes to 30mbps which is still half of the advertised package. Its garbage, do not even pay for it, might as well use mobile hotspot as it is more reliable. Ping is ridiculously unstable.

Really awful internet speeds, always cutting out. Also upped my price to a different tariff without telling me and started charging £30 instead of £20 after my contract ended.

I would have not Evan gave them 1 star, but I had no choice Internet is absoloutley shocking, never works constant down time, slow Internet, and when you call them to sort out the issues there never is one or they carnt find one. Will be switching providers ASAP, completely avoid this company. Shocking and not worth your money.
