Worst service ever, will not come back even it’s was free for life..lol. It’s start when I decide to leave them on 29/9/2019 becas. Of moving home. So I told them that I am leaving. month after the month I am still with them? Now 27/12/19 they still billing me. finally I refuse to pay them, because every month I thought it’s was my final bill I had pay on October month then October month which I made the payment I feel asi was cheated.I told them please disconnect me. Shocking. I have been with them since july 2019. I am having to get in touch most months to get internet working again. This is such a waste of my time. I rely on internet for work and am sick and tierd of the poor reliability.

The internet has cut out twice within the last two weeks overnight. I have had to use their chat function to get it back running again. They then spent an hour and a half running tests to try amd fix issue. Nothing was sorted was told to monitor over 48 hours.

I change provider at end of every contract and have used nearly all of them. This is the worst level of service I have experienced to date. Truely awful.

Talk talk TV is so slow I wish I never bothered with it!! Simple channel changing is so slow you could make a coffee and still have to wait for the screen to load!!! If you go out all day when you want to watch tv an app like Netflix it say internet is down it’s just a waste of time!! Save your faustration and go with another supplier!

I've only just joined Talktalk but regret it already. I've had over ten text messages and emails completely contradicting what the phone operators tell me. Their communication is awful.
I think I'm still in the cooling off period. If the engineer doesn't visit today as promised I'll cancel

I am totally disappointed with your broadband I have got to re connected every time I want to use my phone My broadband is rubbish Why should I upgrade just to please you I think I pay enough to have continuous WiFi But Don’t worry I will not be staying with you Lots of good comparison sites to choose from Why not Keep your long standing customers & look after them as any reputable company would do Unhappy customer Richard Gidlow

Would give 0 stars if possible! Extremely unreliable with signal dropping for about 30minutes at least 4 times a day. Speeds are slower than advertised at most times but not so bad that it's unusable. The reliability is the main issue, honestly haven't experienced internet this unreliable since the 90's.

The costumer service is dreadful. Spent 30 minutes going through a dated phone system which kept asking for my talktalk home telephone number, which I don't have as we've only got broadband, with no way to skip this question. When I finally got through to a man, his comprehension of my English (with no strong accent mind you) was poor, and he kept going on about my speed no matter how much I tried to tell him reliability was the issue. Seemed like he'd been given a script to recite, but it was very difficult to understand his poor English.

I've previously been with Sky and Virgin at other houses, and will be going back as soon as this contract ends, looking from other reviews on this site I'm not even going to try to end it early!

tl;dr: THE SINGLE WORST BROADBAND PROVIDER IN THE UK, POSSIBLY EUROPE - STAY FAR AWAY!

KEEP AWAY. They are DISGUSTING.

You didn't do your job, your job was to check with my supplier to see if they had tied me in.

Your operator came here and didn't set me up on my laptop.
When I didn't get full service I checked my internet and found I was still with my previous supplier. I tried to change it and ended up with No internet all day.
Your operator put a box on my wall, I will have holes.
I spent HOURS calling you, holding on and listening to musac, I had Things To Do, the entire day was wasted - I had to call my supplier too, thet called me, I called them, I called you, you called me...
At the end of a very frustrating day, a woman, after telling her I cannot go to Talk Talk, and telling her why, told me she would
Take £5 OFF MY NEXT BILL.
I was ready to SCREAM.

Oh and, when I eventually found the number to call you
was asked key in YOUR LANDLINE NUMBER! Why Landline??

You think Everyone has a Landline? You don't know that many people don't pay for a landline And a Mobile, people have MOBILES.
So what was I to do?
After wasting all day I was MADE to listen to your recorded message repeating himself, asking me to key in my Landline Number if I had ANY chance of speaking to someone, this went on and on and my frustration with my wasted day and people taking hours to grasp and settle the problem, grew and grew until Finally someone answered.. but this wasn't the end... I was sent a pre-recorded text message..

I was Exhausted and still feel it today.

I am writing this because hopefully you will understand, also I do not want another wasted day tomorrow. I will call you and you will know exactly my complaint, I hope..

No one has called me and BOTH numbers want me to key in MY LANDLINE NUMBER which I DO NOT HAVE.

When things go wrong we try to put them right as quickly as possible. So we’ve been trying to call you about your recent complaint.

If you could give us a call back as soon as you can on 0345 1720 088 (free from your TalkTalk landline) or 0203 441 5550 (national rate number) between 8am and 8pm, we’ll do everything we can to get things sorted.

I am waiting for YOUR CALL

Called them AGAIN, listening to musac AGAIN, they are determined to waste my day AGAIN.

Talk Talk say they Don't Know Anything About my complaint,

They think it is Just about an iternet issue and want to pass me to Technical Support.

TALK TALK HAVE SHOWN THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN MY COMPLAINT, THEY SAY THEY HAVE NOT SEEN IT ON HERE, THEY ARE LIARS. THEY SAY THEY CALLED ME ON MY LANDLINE, HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE, I DO NOT HAVE ONE. THEY SAY THEY CALLED ME ON MY MOBILE - I HAVE NOT HAD ANY MISSED CALLS.

The called me yesterday, Saturday, and having told them of my terrible experience told me they were not going to compensate me, they just wasted my time AGAIN. Why call me at ALL? They're despicable an absolute disgrace.

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Cannot help via phone / app / text. Speaks over me 24/7. Asked to change payment date and they charged me 2 late payment fees. Broadband speed is the worst ever and hardly works yet they can’t do anything about it. When my contract was up I was going to cancel but they had already started a new contract for me so I cannot get out of it and could not do anything about it. Disgusting! Can’t wait to leave them id rather have no broadband than be with them

The worst company ever it don't even deserve that one star honestly. I purchased a deal, a basic broadband with them for £19.99. Then after two days saw online the same offer for £17.95. So I called to cancel and told them I will book it online. The customer service agent I spoke to said no need to do that I can change the price for so I agreed. Once the wifi was set up I realised how terrible the connection was but it says it will take them 14 days to figure out the right speed for my area, So I waited. Then I realised I got charged £22.58. The speed didn't get any better. So I decided am not happy with the service I would like to leave. I was told have a 20 days cooling of period so I called to cancel. Only to get the manager telling me that the 20 days cooling off period starts from the day I got the deal not from the installation date. And that I will not get a refund for the £22.58. Then when I tried to tell her this is unacceptable and I need them to refund my money and cancel the contract she said I will get someone to call you back in 2-3 days to explain to you but you will not receive your refund and hunged up the phone. Am not even sure if that was a manager I spoke no manager would behave like that.

Worse broadband ever. We ordered it 1.5 months ago and it has been working 20% of the time. 80% of the time it has not been working. Provider blames a variety of issues. One day is loose cables in a electric cupboard the next day it is downtime in the area. Will never use it again and won*t recommend it to anyone

An absolute nightmare of a company to deal with,a disgrace to be honest I would strongly advice not to join talk talk unless you have all the time of the day to be stuck on the phone you get a feel of how they work as they pass you threw every department (managers never seem to be available you’ll struggle to get to that department). Moved home not a problem they said you will go live on the 1st Which is just under 2 weeks away. I explained how my wire fit in the router but was a different connection to the modem/ little white box on your wall in your house that the internet passes threw then on to the router, I was told they would send an engineer but I would have to phone back on the day I went live I explained that we know there is a problem we know I’m goin live on the 1st so can you not book an engineer for after that date rather than phoneing back on the live date and being told our next available appointment isn’t for weeks away. Hence we know there is a problem we know your goin live this date we will get an engineer to get you up and running as soon as after that, no not talk talk that would be too easy. I then receive a text the following day telling me the 7th is my live date. Knowing I’ve then got to wait how ever long after that for an engineer to come out. I phoned hell/talk talk. To be passed threw 5 different departments with 3 of the 5 people telling me. You go live on the 1st. Next department,you go live on the2nd. Next department, no it’s the 7th you go live and we can’t book you an engineer until that date. I was on the phone for 1 hour and 8 mins the 1st call and 1 hour and 2 mins on the 2nd call. The outcome I go live on the 7th and I’ll have to phone back on the day to make another appointment I would of cancelled my contract but had to pay over £100 to cancel. I STRONGLY ADVICE DO NOT JOIN TALKTALK

Worst company ever. I found out by chance they owe me a refund since 2017 (of course, because why would they make is easy and refund automatically?) and I can't get them to refund it to me without calling expensive numbers to talk to someone. I've been told thay would call me back but never did. Meanwhile they keep my money!!! CROOKS!!!

Terrible customer services, had to keep ringing them because the call keeps getting cut off when on hold and once I finally got through my call was cancelled half way and then on another day I was told the systems are down and asked to call back later. When I called back the customer services people did not seem at all bothered and unhelpful; keeps taking you around in loops.
The internet speed wasn’t great either, kept disconnecting from my laptop. I would strongly discourage anyone from using them.

These have constantly been a dreadful ISP , their response to any problems now is all by text and takes forever. I have had numerous changes of router, it takes days for them to get an engineer out to fix any hardware problem. They keep no record of the equipment they provide. I am actively looking at alternatives.

Just a nightmare you never wake up from. The worst service I have ever experienced. You get sent from one person to another. They never answer the question you ask but rely on a script. Save yourself a whole lot of pain and use someone else. I moved to Vodafone, not one problem.

Can be good in terms of speed, but it's very unpredictable, I get 30mbps average but sometimes I could be getting 20mbps or 40mbps. It's very unreliable but good for basic usage like internet browsing but any WiFi can do that, and better.

Very late delivery, terrible customer service. When you phone them you get sent round and round in circles and can waste hours and hours just chasing up why a router has not been delivered. Nobody in customer services has the authority to help with anything so it feels very futile to talk to them. I'm now on my third attempt to get a router as the previous two have failed to be delivered - with no explanation given by talk talk. The only thing they've sent me is a bill, for a service I'm not receiving! Their packages seem like a bargain, but when you don't actually receive any broadband they cease to seem like a good deal.

Having moved home, to be told that the only speed I could receive was upwards of 10mbps, I was shocked. found a better deal online and asked to cancel my account. Was told it would be canceled within 24hrs. To only find out that they never cancelled it when I initially contacted them. Contacted them be. put through to the relevant department, to get put on hold and then hung up on after several minutes!

The most unreliable broadband I've ever had
Customer service is awful, call centres are either India or South Africa.
Hard to hear over the shouting and noise in the background.

Had nothing but trouble with my broadband dropping since I joined this place, so many calls, so .ittle help.
They even told me that I would have to pay for the engineer (wrong) and they said I'd have to pay an extortionate exit fee despite them providing the most shocking service.
Arranged for a call back yesterday which I did not recieve.

All in all its taken me 7 attempts, 7 calls, 7 times going through the same checks on my router for them to finally send out an engineer.

Terrible terrible company, should've listened to what people said about it before I joined, never again will I subject myself to the stress.

Customer services is abroad they also feel it is extremely important they not only Lie to you and even have people sit and wait in for Open Reach engerniers to not only give direct information to Open Reach they keep you on phone pretending they our dealing with your account . Open Rent need to look at this company.

If I was given the option for no stars I'm afraid I'd have done so for every one from the above. The "customer service" is nonexistent, very unhelpful and kept hanging on the phone for ages. The reliability is abysmal, as in its not reliable. I have been with them under 3 months and have had 3 separate faults which all told took them over a week to resolve. WARNING STEER CLEAR OF THIS PROVIDER!!!

Just do not go anywhere near this company, it is a shambles. The support teams lie and make things up. I have had no broadband for 2 weeks, they tell me Open Reach are looking into this and it will be another 2 weeks. I contact Openreach and they know nothing of my issue. They will not keep going with this level of support, not a chance.

Guaranteed 41mbps; never hit it once. Just did a speed test on here and was told I could get faster speeds...by paying for the next tier of broadband up... You know, that same plan that I've been paying for for A YEAR already and still not getting. Been trying to leave for three months now and they refuse to let me out of the contract, saying they required 30 days notice! So it's no wonder their internet speeds are a freaking lie; they can't do simple maths. So you might think they're offering a great deal, but they just lie through their teeth on what speed you'll get, effectively making you pay MUCH MORE for a crappier service. No deal TalkTalk can come up with will make it worth dealing with their $!@$^"&

Talk Talk is without doubt in my mind, the worst for service. Their customer service agents are dreadful, most can't be understood, and the level of customer sympathy when something goes wrong is appalling.

I have read many, many scathing reports on TalkTalk and frankly, they are being kind. Whatever your worst ever experience with incompetent, inept, time wasting, incapable, useless, disinterested, wastrel and inane idiots you have ever experienced ……TalkTalk will make them pale into insignificance
TalkTalk really are, incomprehensibly obtuse at just about everything. I think it must be in their business plan! No company could be this bad without a real commitment!

I had talktalk broadband for well to long time; internet speed was slow , their customer service was rather quick to answer phone call but incompetent never able to solve any problems.
Talktalk has also leaked my personal details to criminals and I’m still bombarded by scam emails ,phone calls add SMS.
Now they asked me to pay for my email account.
I can only say go to hell talktalk

A very deceptive company. unexplained price rises, disrespectful or non existent customer service, they will also charge you for a services before you even have access to it. They are reluctant to ever send out an engineer; even for installation!!! It is utterly disgusting!
