    I rang Talk Talk to ask a couple of questions as we had decided to cancel Sky and switch to their broadband, telephone and TV service.
    I have never received such rude customer service in my life!!!
    I was passed to a so called manager tried the hard sell with me, which was not necessary as we had already decided to switch. I tried to advise him that I would call back later because I needed to discuss with my partner before I would sign up but I was constantly interrupted when I was talking. When he finally decided to allow me to speak I was verbally attacked with a torrent of abuse before he hung up on me!!!!
    If this is the customer service you receive when you are a potential Talk Talk customer I pity any existing customers who require help.
    Needless to say we have decided not to go with Talk Talk for any of their services. We will advise family, friends or anyone considering switching or doing any type of business with this company to rethink.
    I have now also read other reviews re Talk Talk and I think we have had a lucky escape.
    Absolutely disgusting!!!!!

    I chatted to one of the advisers about my slow broadband and about the router dropping out all the time,I spent two hours chatting and got no where,he tested the line and that was ok,after a lot of questions he asked me if I turn the router of at night and said if I did that would make my router unstable witch is a load of rubbish,as I have always turned it off before retiring,after that they checked my connection which was ok,then if I had not had enough he put me through to one of his colleagues and I got bombarded with all the same questions and tests I had already gone though.I have borrowed a router off my son and every thing is fine,so why all the excuses as why I can't have a replacement,I have been with talk talk for a long time and I was with tiscali for even longer with no trouble until now,after the way I have been treated over this issue I feel I don't want to be a talk talk customer anymore,I think all the staff at talk talk are trained in how to fob customers off,I feel I am paying for a service I am not getting.

    i was have problem since i get the contract and the internet very slow and every time i ring or chat with them online they never fix the issue they want me to have another contract or pay more money to fix the problem really this is really i big joke and i tell them i want to stop the contract beacouse i am not getting good service they say i can't i need to pay for broken contract fee what i can do anyone can help with it ???

    (Month 3 of contract) Absolute jokes! Added charges of £44 what they decided to kindly add on. Had to be put on to 4 different people to discuss this. Was on the phone for over 30 mins to cancel the service they added on. Now on the phone to person number 5 as they to kindly reimburse me of £4.47

    Worst servive ever receive.
    Not only that the broadband was on but in my pc or my phone it says no connection or its says internet way not be available , its been happeing for 5 days.if u guys dont fix up am leaving and go for sky or bt

    Absolutely rubbish WiFi, poor customer service who do not even care about their customers. I am supposed to be having Fibre Optic WiFi and it is not even strong enough to get me from site to site on my computer which is on the other side of my house. Disgraceful and having to pay for their terrible WiFi is an insult. I repeat - do not pay for this rubbish as I have made the mistake and regretting it already

    This is truthfully the most abismal piece of tripe on the market. I'm having to type this review on my phone as the WiFi simply does not work. Utterly abismal and I would give 0 stars if the option was there. Save yourself and go someplace else.

    I have never ever received such poor customer service and I would strongly reccomend everyone to avoid this service!!i contacted talk talk on the 6.11.2018 to set up broadband/tv as I was moving into a property on the 16.11.2018 (10 days in advance) I was on the phone to them the first time for 1 hour just setting up my details etc which I’m okay with as I knew (assumed)by the end of it I would have a package.i explained to them that I was not moving in until the 16th and they would need to send the equipment to another address or make sure it wasn’t sent out until the move in date-i was told it’s okay they would put a card under the door to tell me where it has gone (bare in mine I had no access to the house and couldn’t retrieve a care)they told me that was no problem they’d put me through to customer services to arrange delivery.After holding for a further 20 minutes I was put through to customer services who told me the order was not yet on the system so they couldn’t do anything to help despite the fact I had received an order confirmation whilst on the phone to the man arranging my package with all my details engineer appointment etc yet they still couldn’t trace it ?they said to call back in 24 hours and this would be resolved-the next day I tried to call back as I was asked and the number I was given required a landline number to go forward and get to the correct department which of course I did not have !!!i eventually spoke to somebody spending another hour on the phone and was still no quicker getting anything resolved-I spoke to a manager who was no help I was told I’d receive a call back & the next day I received a text message telling me they’d tried to get in touch which was complete lies as I had no missed calls!!!this went on and on with the same story of not finding my order,I then finally recieved a call yesterday (19.11.2018)2 weeks after my initial call telling me they STILL haven’t found anything and we’re no closer to resolving my problem despite me sending them a copy of my confirmation-at that point I told them to cancel the whole thing -I am now without internet and have to wait 2 more weeks for my new provider to connect our internet-I spent 5 hours in total on the phone to them and never got a resolution !!!they never offered to simply reprocess my order and we’re very unhelpful-Please avoid !!!!

    Thought I would give talktalk a go as was sick of my current providers charges increasing, I shouldn’t have bothered. Within 3 days of having it installed could not get internet upstairs and as soon as I stepped out of the house into the garden the internet signal was gone. Talktalk were not able to fix the problem, waste of time customer services with no knowledge at all. I was able to break the contract within the month due to the service being unfit for purpose. It’s true, you pay for what you get.

    I changed to Talk Talk broadband and phone as my present server was closing. I went through National Broadband Service. I have had my phone number for over 21 years and was assured by Talk Talk that I would still have that number.
    I thought it was strange that I had no calls since the changeover on 21st June. Talk Talk had actually changed my number and tell me that I cannot possibly have it back.
    When I asked yesterday if I could cancel they said the cooling off period was over that day and it would cost me £231.00 to cancel. This company have lied to sell me their product and when I went onto my account I am billed for £21.34 for 5 days service. This contract is supposed to be £20 per month. I have never paid up front before.
    I have set in motion a complaint to off com . Avoid this promise breaking company at all costs, they are crooks

    Absoloutly appauling! The worst internet ive ever had. My mobile data is better and more reliable than talk talk standard broadband. I origionally wanted the super fast broadband but failed the credit check only to be told i can upgrade once ive gone live. This was not the case when i later called to upgrade and the customer service was also terrible. I can safely say i will not be using talk talk again or recommending to anybody.

    The worst internet I have ever used! The internet does not work at least 3-4 times during the day. My phone data charges are huge because of how awful talk talk is. Possibly the worst provided ever.

    Steer very clear of the world's worst company.Talk Talk deserves to be shut down by the regulators. If you are lucky enough to get through to their service centre (India/Phillipines?)do not expect to receive any help.
    Following next to no e mail or broadband service in November/December I,like other customers,was offered a choice of free upgrade.It was allegedly installed on 21 December but guess what? You've got it - not installed at all and still waiting but I'm not holding my breath. Here's the good bit,though - TT NEVER forgets to debit my account each month - funny that.Anyway,my contract expires in April at which time it's good riddance to TT for ever.

    Absolutely diabolical service no internet since day of installation. 2 months of ringing up every day to complain just to be fobbed off. Take money out of your bank for services you don't have no TV package yet I was charged for one. Refuse to give you compensation even though they state its available when you have no internet connection. Refuse to let you speak to management. Can't even refund money your owed from them. Never ever would I recommend this company. Zero morals all about legalized theft from customers. Nothing good to say about them at all other than AVOID AVOID AVOID unless you enjoy been ripped off

    TTG-200 error every 5mins. Turn off at mains watch 5mins (sometimes) then repeat! Can't believe they charge £70 per month for this. Never leave reviews but felt compelled to do so after months of torture. Not even worth 1 star, pathetic. Review only possible after turning my phone Wifi off while at home - says it all! Avoid at all costs!

    AVOID AVOID AVOID !!! As in all other reviews, poor customer service and ridiculous amount of precious time and hours wasted on calls to them to report continuous or lost connection of broadband. Their customer service staff are very robotic in their apologies and seem to stick to a given script asking you to perform bizarre tasks to fix any issues yourself. Please do not consider signing up with this company. I've just cancelled my contract which by the way took me 2hrs and 3 minutes on the phone to them to do, being passed from one person to another just aswell I couldn't reach my hand down the phone line. signed up with Virgin

    I would give 0 if I could. Customer service is non-existent. Our broadband service wasn't working (entirely their fault) I lost 3 1/2 weeks of my life and it no doubt affected my health because of the stress of trying to deal with them, The fault was entirely theirs for sending the wrong equipment and although this became apparent fairly early on it was impossible to get them to make progress. Each time you ring- if you are lucky enough to get through - you get a different person and you have to start the story again; each person who actually is helpful enough to try to find a solution has a different solution, each solution contradicts the last one; the whole thing was a kafkaesque nightmare. They follow a script and are completely incapable of dialogue. You think they heard or understood you because they always agree with whatever you say then later - or in the same sentence - say something indicating they have no clue what you are talking about. It is like talking with automatons - and a different automaton on a different programme every time. If you want to protect your mental health and use your time on earth more productively, avoid talk talk.

    I wouldn't even give it a star if possible. Very appalled by the service. Broadband doesn't even work. Only for a few seconds and then turns off. The customer service helpline and nor the manager does anything to help. Its disgusting to see after I was promised high speed broadband and was told that they have fixed it from the last time we had TalkTalk. Its worse than a nightmare. Seriously the net when it is working, I would say that it is slower than a turtle but that would be an insult to turtles.
    If you are thinking about going with TalkTalk, I recommend that you do NOT! GO WITH SKY THEY ARE MUCH BETTER! TRUST ME! I would spend hours writing pages and pages but words can not describe my temper!

    talk talk arranged a visit and did not turn up. they said they would charge me £65 if i wasnt in. if they dont turn up.. well its just fine.. great!!! can you complain.. no way.. nothing electronic.. just a phone number.. and these guys then quickly passed me on to an irrelevant phone service.. honestly the worst service i can remember from a phone company

    Can safely say talk talk is without a doubt the worst internet provider I have used. Internet regularly drops out and when it does work we average 2mbps when promised 15. Had to get another internet hub in (sky)as we could not cancel this one. Do not use this company if you actually want decent wifi.

    My internet was meant to come on 20th April & an engineer didn’t show up to set it up. It’s now the 22nd May and although an engineer has been(2 days ago) there is now a fault and I have to wait another 2 days for my internet to work. I’ve called numerous times about the problem to be told to wait each time and when I asked to speak to a manager they refused to put me through to one. Terrible service!

    No phone line no internet no reduction in bill live chat use phrases like I am dearly sorry I had aol for ten years and the internet always worked I have been with talktalk 5months and about once a month I lose internet the phone line hardly ever works and the Indians at the call centre seem to think i am a diagnostic expert absolutely useless.

    Worst decision of my life going with talktalk!! I was seduced by the cheap rates and wish I had read some reviews on here myself before getting the contract!! It would of saved me a lot of trouble and frustration. Like so many others on here i have had my fair share of being overcharged and bad customer service but the thing that has really done it is that I have now just been charged £145! When I demanded rather crossly why? I was informed it was because of the 22 HOUR CALL I apparently had just made!! Needless to say that I doubt it is even pysically posible to be on the phone for that lolg the answer I got was that I must of not hung up properly!! Well I then attempted to "not hang up properly" and found that jt was quite impossible to do because of the way the phone slots in!! Am absolutly fuming

    Absolutely abysmal service and treatment of vulnerable people.

    For 2 weeks my 80 year old grandmother who lives alone 4 hours away has been without any telephone service. Her friend lent her a mobile phoneto contact Talk Talk customer service and the waiting time alone ate her £10 credit. I have been on the phone to talk talk overseas call centres 4 times over the past week, which have a poor line and staff speak very basic english. Each time I am promised something will be done tomorrow and it has not been done.

    I am still waiting for my 80 year old grandmothers telephone line to be fixed.

    Please do not chose this provider especially if you are setting it up for someone vulnerable or you yourself are a vulnerable individual as they have a complete disregard and lack of care.

    appalling, terrible terrible customer service. They lie and make promises, its just all about the money and how much they can screw you for . Have endless amount of truly abysmal support and help. Just gave up after again chasing complaints about broadband and wifi. Maybe that is what they want anyway. Lop of one head and they grow another, endless frustration
