    TalkTalk.. waste of time and money
    TalkTalk connection undoubtedly the worst service one would ever encounter in entire world. I would not recommend TalkTalk. When I took a new connection, I was told that there would be interruptions in network connection for the first 10 days. After 10 days, there would be normal connection with the speed upto 18Mbps (Highest estimated speed 18.3 and lowest estimated speed 12.3). But every day, we are experiencing some or the other problem with the network. Once we called the customer care, they could find nothing, and said there could be some ongoing maintenance work (without prior information to customers about it??). But I guess since last 2 months, they are doing the same maintenance work and yet not able to correct it. My observation is that whenever I start video call or any videos online, immediately it gets disconnected. I don't understand why I am paying them the money for 'Unlimited Plan' when I am not able to get uninterrupted connection for a single day. I request all the viewers, Please Please Please... Don't do the same mistake like me. There are so many different services in the market. TalkTalk is waste of money and time too (as with this connection every second day of your life will be wasted on the call with TalkTalk customer care call center).

    The broadband is almost as poor as the awful customer service. Don't say I didn't warn you! This company should be bust by now. Terrible.

    Horrible service provider and never select this one. Lot's of hidden charge. My service got a problem a year ago and I asked customer service, they said an engineering was needed and I was charged £65 for they fix their own issues. Then added an 'Unlimited UK Calls Boost', I do not have a telephone even, they hiddenly charged me £16 per month (since I set up a DD and I did not check until a few weeks ago'.

    I've been a customer of TalkTalk for a number of years January this year my contract expired and they carried on taking £60 a month from me my contract was for 35 when I inquired about being over charged I was offered £20 in compensation TalkTalk or a company who do not care about their customers they're only in it for the money I have no change my provider to Skye who have been very good to me I would suggest anyone thinking on joining TalkTalk to think again their offices when you make enquiries or somewhere abroad you cannot speak to anyone in England TalkTalk should be ashamed of their selves when they are after to money from their customers there soon texting you for money but when they could offer you better deals they don't bother I was quite shocked when I found out I have been overcharged buy 6 month I paid by direct debit and never give is a thot they would rip me off like I have said beware of TalkTalk they pass all complaints on to someone then you speak to that one I then pass you on to someone else please please please do not sign up with TalkTalk by doing this you cannot say you've not been warned.

    TalkTalk customer service is the worst that I have seen for years! I left them in May 2014 and paid up in full and they STILL keep sending me bill after bill. I called them to stop this and make sure that my account is closed, they said yes it was closed, but I still get demands for payment!! This is harassment! I hate this company with a passion! SAVE YOURSELF ALOT OF STRESS AND GO WITH ANOTHER PROVIDER. They are cheap in every way possible.

    Do NOT deal with this company. Two weeks after receiving my router, I still am not connected. Very difficult to get through on the phone, a bot service which is hard to locate in the first place then ponderously slow, repetitive and ineffective. Truly awful service which is hard to fathom in 2022!
    Please avoid at all cost.

    I have only been with talk talk for three months and im sorry i ever signed with them. With a terrible 4.2mbps and a regular cut offs every hour of the day i cant believe how they can justify taking money for a product that simply is 10 years old. They claim that i have super fibre optic but i disagree. 3 engineers have been to my house to try resolve this but each time theres always a resolve which indeed doesnt make a difference. 2 routers later and still no resolve im currently pushing to cancel and get compensations for the 3months of a none usable product in my case..
    I must add that if you do try and conact talk talk they're going to try everything to make up poor excuses i.e. your router is to close to your tv or you may have a loose cable theyve even asked me to perform my own tests, opening up the cable box, so now im a technician.... this is absolutely discusting as i think of all the OAPs that actually end up performing these home made tests!!! All in all i think talk talk is a joke of a company and should actually be looked into by trading standards.. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM would be the main review here

    PLEASE PLEASE DON'T CHANGE TO THIS CRAP COMPANY.call centers with low empathy and huge call handling times. Low effort and urgency to solve problems and problems regularly occur - no understanding of how to solve the issues, just pointless diagnostic tests.it wouldnt let me give a minus

    If you value your health and sanity I implore you do not use Talk Talk. I have been lied to laughed at and now I'm trying to leave they want me to pay a termination fee. So the fact in the 8 months I have been with them my internet and
    Phone line has worked less than it has worked. I have been down now for 2 1/2 weeks

    There is no words to describe how BAD the service is, ESPECIALLY CUSTOMER SERVICE I would not recommend this service to my worst enemy. I have been passed around everyone in every department and still the issue of inconsistent fibre broadband cannot be resolved, or iff anyone is actually bothered it seems to just be a big joke to them IF YOUR THINKING OF SIGNING TO TALKTALK PLEASE THINK AGAIN I WOULDNT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO HAVE THE HASSLE AND INCONVENIENCE THAT WE HAVE HAD

    Lost my telephone and internet connection on4.1.22.Rang daily as I amdisabled and 75 so the internet is my lifeline.Finally resolved on 18.1.22.Having been without telephone,broadband and use of Netflix for which I have continued I was dismayed when I was contacted and told that £5.04 would be knocked off my next bill.I have written to the CEO for his comments.

    I had to end my TalkTalk contract straight away after starting new contract.I informed moving home. The experience of doing so was appalling. I have end up with no internet facilities 13 day’s.after that I was on the phone and wasted my time around 3 hours with TalkTalk I was passed from department to department nobody know actually what they doing. I am even surprised how possible manage a company still doing business.If any one with TalkTalk Very Good luck to them. This is the worst customer service experience I have had in years. TalkTalk should be shut down

    I have had reasonable broadband for several years but this has deteriorated badly over the past 6 months. The reception signal has become increasingly poor, and now when keying the data registers in jumps with the text appearing several seconds after it has been keyed. In calls to their help line it is clear you are talking to someone in a foreign land who's command of English and level of speech is poor and clearly has little understanding of the problem. Their standard answer is, unplug everything, leave for a while and reconnect, all of which has already been done. The truth of the matter is that Talk Talk telephone is good, but they are out of their league with broadband.

    What a bunch of liars! Ordered a new connection and it never arrived . Told me that the engineer was 1 hour away. Then next day that the engineer couldn’t find our address. Rang numerous times and got cut off every time. The worst service I have ever come across by a long way! Avoid at all costs if you value your sanity.

    Awful. Raised our bill without telling us after receiving awful service. Slow speeds, the internet would keep dropping..spending hours on the phome to talk talk restarting the router etc etc. Had seceral engineers out and still awful. Customer service team are rude.
    Would give them 0 stars. Avoid.

    TalkTalk is the worst service in the world. Their broadband is constantly not working and the customer service is the worst I have ever met. They also won't cancel your contract if you want to. Our internet service is not working for the last 2 months, they were unable to fix it and now they don't want to cancel it. STAY AWAY!

    I have NEVER been so DISGUSTED with a service as I have with Talk Talk!
    Their service is NOT a service.
    I am owed £40.04 credit, which they will not return.
    I left because the service was sub standard constantly losing broardband connection.
    I DO NOT BELIEVE I WILL EVER RECEIVE A REFUND.
    HENCE TALK TALK ARE ALSO LIERS AND CHEATS.
    I am disgusted having spent copious hours with no success trying to retrieve what is m8ne.

    Absolute disaster, called them multiple times and they told be it will be better but it ******* is not. Low downloading and uploading speed, really high ping constantly jumping over 100, disgusting.

    I am not going to give it any stars talktalk are apauling! They are only interested in making money and do not care if you are not getting the guaranteed speeds of internet.
    I’ve had nothing but issues my supper fast broadband is the worst I’ve ever had, supposed to be guaranteed at 30mbs and I get 1.9mbs! And like others have stated if you can find the time with a family and Woking full time to call them to get someone out as you are on the phone with someone who doesn’t listen to you and barely speaks English for up to 2 hours!
    Then they want you to do all these different tests and you become an engineer before they will even send someone out to see if there’s a problem!
    My whole 2 year contract it has been the same, when an engineer comes out they can’t find an issue and they bump speeds back up and after a week of bliss it’s back to the 1.9mb if I’m lucky because sometimes it just disconnects for no reason!
    I demanded to cancel as they were not keeping these guaranteed speeds and they said it was going to be another 7 days and expected me to pay for them seven days even though I had an hour long conversation previous to this regarding my 1.9mbs!
    I stated they need to get an engineer out to me then for the 7 days they wanted me to pay and if I get my guaranteed speeds I would be more than happy to pay!
    They are a joke I feel like all they do is argue with you to get you to give up which I previously have done hence the issue going on so long, I don’t know how they get away with it however I will be contacting the ombudsman regarding my issues and money wasted and I advise others to do the Same!
    Avoid, Avoid, Aboid! You know it’s bad when your mobile data is better than your broadband!!!

    Well every ISP I viewed seems to have bad reviews. It is only that if something you dont like is when people speak up. To be honest I was with sky and they were the worst. Moved to Talk talk. so far so good. Speed bettercthan sky. no outage and now upgraded to fibre. Good service so far and lots of offers. Cheaper than Virgin and they matched their offer. No Tivo hub but generally they do the dirty work of switching. Virgin wanted me to do all the work. I have not seen bad service hence 4 stars. will come back after the connection done for the fibre

    The worse possible service you can imagine with an industry low standard of just 1Mbps return link speed. Poor HUB hardware, cheap and nasty TV box and an incredibly poor support team who just do not care. Beware it is a total rip off!

    But try to leave after a few months because you are fed-up with their service and they just make it impossible and charge you for the privilege of saying goodbye.

    Cannot even give them one star!

    Awful broadband and phone supplier. I rang 6 timed to arrange a home move and service engineer to come and put in a telephone socket as talktalk couldn't move my existing number and service engineer. Unbelievable!! The customer service is rude and argumentative reading from scripts. I would never use talktalk again as something as simple as moving my number and booking an engineer is too sophisticated for this company.

    Had a chat with the customer services team this evening had to endure listening to some guy chewing his dinner down the phone whilst I was making a complaint then had a unpleasant lady laughing at my complaint. No one takes you seriously or even listens to understand your problem! They don't even deserve a half a star! Hours of going backwards and forwards and ending up worse off that when I started!

    Appalling services. I have not had a landline for over a month and the technical support rambles on endlessly and I cannot make sense of what they say. Promised to send an outreach guy to visit my home to check out. I took time off work and no one came. I complained but nothing happens, the same rambling from the complaints section.

    Broadband speed atrocious. ....connecting to an operator almost impossible. .... totally not worth the time or money spent on hoping to get a good deal. In the end returned to my previous provider who I now realise are an amazing company. Would definitely not recommend. ....

    Talk talk is so slow. The internet can not handle more than 3 devices connected to it at once else it takes ages to use the internet. It’s so laggy and buggy. It turns off on its own and talk ages to work again. I do not recommend.

    Utterly woeful service.

    For the past 4 months their WiFi goes off around 6 times a day.

    Nobody is interested in trying to resolve the issue.

    3 engineer visits have been arranged yet no sign of them - causing us to wait in for 4 hours at a time.

    Promised calls are not made.

    Ridiculous suggestions have been made for the reason for the outage, such as my Apple Watch - despite it being 200 miles away.

    We’re consistently unable to watch streaming channels, and both my children’s exam revision has been significantly disrupted, along with a negative impact on my ability to work at home.

    Undoubtedly the worst consumer experience of my life.

    Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy wasting time chasing them to fix problems

    0 Star, Broadband cuts out every 10 mins and the customer service is just as bad they keep you on the line for hours and then tell you they can no find any fault with the line, asked them to send a engineer out they said it will be a £50 charge.

    This is my rating for moving house and staying with Talktalk!!! As you can see, I do not rate them. I have been waiting over a month to have a connection. We waited for an engineer but had a text to say the account is cancelled. This was on the day the engineer was due. I had to phone up Talktalk to find out why, I was passed to at least five departments none of whom could explain properly. I was put on hold and messed around and the call had to last 1hr 20 mins before I got told that it would be connected at the end of Feb16. Still no guarantee this would be up and running properly. A waste of space and the worst customer service I have ever come across!!!!!

    Agreed to switch from virgin media to talk talk. Took 2hour on the phone at the time. A date was set but the engineer did not turn up. I got a text to say that I was now a talk talk customer. To cut a long story short. The engineer never switched, inspite of my frequent calls, they kept telling me that there was no problem. Finally after weeks an engineer from talk talk came out and told me what I knew, that my line had not been switched from virgin media. Ringing talk talk is harrowing as you have to start from the beginning each time and are put through various departments and have to start explains yourself over and over again. Each call can take 1-2 hours at least. And talk talk is still billing me even though I am not their customer. There is no star rating for them. Worst company I have ever dealt with.
