    If I could give 0 stars then i would. Staff are extremely rude and argumentative. Never arrived to install and I only found out reason why when I called them myself. Apparently there is no bt line in my property and it's a new build even though I have lived here neatly 6 years and the property was not new then. Went to another company who were able to install without delays. Staff shouted at me on the phone and argued with everything I said avoid like the plague.

    Worst service ever, Talktalk is not able to make internet work for a week and just answer that they escalated my case, its joke not a broadband.

    To anybody considering using Talk Talk, then my advice is DON'T. I was an AOL customer for many years which became a part of Talk Talk. After some time of unreliable internet access (unexpected drop-outs etc) I shopped around and found a new provider. Even the simple things like "How did you work out my final bill" could not be answered. I am still writing to them to get a refund (already agreed) 3 months on. The rating section of this review does not give a ZERO for customer service, but that is all I can say

    Talk Talk consistently fail to provide the service that they guarantee.

    Their reputation for being a poor broadband provider is well deserved.

    They are only interested in money, they are not interested in providing the service that they guarantee or in fixing the issues that regularly arise with their service.

    They are reluctant to send out an engineer to fix any faults- I was advised that I would be charged £40 for an engineer to be called out to resolve an issue that I hadn't caused.

    I insisted that I wanted to leave Talk Talk and I was advised that I would be charged £40 for the early termination of my contract.

    After spending an hour on the phone, being transferred from department to department and being put on hold, a manager finally agreed to send out an engineer free of charge.

    The engineer failed to fully resolve the issue and I have another engineer visit booked for next week.

    Please seriously reconsider if you are considering joining Talk Talk.

    As almost every reviewer here has said, they are a very poor company.

    This is simply the worst broadband in the world. The Broadband speed connection is average, it goes from average to very slow. But the most worry is the land line... I work from home and I need the phone to work at all times. More than once, in less than month, the landline simply didn't receive or made calls. I am not going to jeopardise my work, my earnings because of technical problems that shouldn't happen that often. Customer service is impersonal. I didn't deal with anyone, was simply direct to an answering machine. I am switching to another company, so problems solved. I won't recommend talk talk to anyone and if you are stuck with a contract, just pay the difference. It will save you many headaches.

    Talk Talk in 2 words: total crap.

    Router never worked from day 1, help team failed to solve issues. returned router during cooling period. Never use this company again.

    Do not sign up with talk talk. It should of gone live on the 7th March. After numerous phone calls they said it maybe the 17th March now. I'm so furious!

    NO stars for anything. Appalling customer service Nobody spoke or indeed understood reasonable English.Problem solving was non exsistent.When my contract ends I will be out of there before you can blink.I don't know how they survive.PLEASE don't go there

    Terrible service . Internet is always really slow . Customer service is terrible. They promise you a phone call back but never do . I’ve never had it sorted when I’m always on the phone complaining had it over a year but I’m going else where now . Best advice I could give anyone is to never have talk talk broadband is all lies you never get what they promise and simply do nothing to sort it out . They should be shut down and banned. I’ve never heard one good word spoken about them. I’m ment to be having super fast broadband!!! Slowest internet I have ever had.

    I'd advise everyone to not go with talk talk they took £85 out my account when I'm not even using there services and now there telling me I have to wait a month to get my money back even tho they know it's there fault yet they refuse to put it in til the November. Absolute joke ! I've been on the phone for an hour trying to get it back and I'm still on the phone yet getting put on hold every 5mins!

    Loyalty could ts for nothing. New customers get new wifi hub for free where us older loyal customers have to pay. I upgraded to fast fibre and expected to be given the new wifi hub as a new fast fibre upgrade member. No chance ! When I asked for one they said I would have to pay. Shocking service.

    RUBBISH do not buy them deals or anything internet connection what can I say about that hmm there is none sometimes I struggle to open one website not dreaming of something more sophisticated like watching a movie or playing a game .....they(talk talk ) don't deliver what they get paid for!!!!!!

    Do your self a favour never ever go with this company. I have been with then for 5 months made every payment yet they took extra money from my account and saying that they have not and are charging me double now always for 3 months I have had little to no internet there service is terrible and rude I am leaving them this week cause they are so terrible

    Dreadful service!! I will not recommend talktalk to anyone ever, I've had countless phone calls to and from the customer service team to do with technical fault, I had the phone line and broadband a little over a month and I only signed up for the you view box 3 weeks ago. So because I want to cancel the TV they are telling me I have to pay £200 I am in shock!!! Terrible service I was in the phone for 1hr20min on hold I was just trying to tell them that I wanted to cancel... DONT EVER SIGN WITH THEM

    When it works it is not too bad but usually slow and inconsistent and unreliable. Response delay is terrible. Service is generally very bad with telephone support nil. Took 10 hours and talking to at least 10 people and something like 15a telephone calls along with a engineer home visit before any improvement on the service which was intermittent and went off completely for hours or days. This even when I told them that it was their local/profile setup. The engineer who came agreed with me. Still took 2 weeks before I got any response.
    Will leave them although the phone package is good!

    Not poor service, NO SERVICE!! No answere to questions. Order not raised by me took several hours to cancel.
    Ordered new package took well over 60mins bot helpful he was condescending. Then sent information 33, yes 33 of the same email. Told me someone would carry out survey, no idea if this happened. Installation due yesterday no one came. On phone over an hour no one dies or k ows anything.

    Awful company. I have had to take 3 separate days unpaid time off work to wait for engineers who never showed. Apparently they were each cancelled but no one bothered to inform me. Thanks Talk Talk for nothing! Still don't have a working tel, broadband or tv for almost 1 month now. customer service has been disgusting.

    Every week at least 1 day we have no internet at least once a month we have no phone for 10 day at a time when you phone for help you are put through to India they want £250 if I leave before my contract is up only just signed with them so I am stuck , we have been without a phone now for 5 days week before was good only 2 days .

    Talk talk. The first months of the contract, the Internet is fast, then the signal is very low, when you call to make the claim they have you online for about 1 hour in front of a computer acting as an employee for them, then they send you a technician who comes to your house and that he puts in his system a few numbers that solves the problem for a day, then the problem continues, and the worst thing is that Bill paid for it myself. Is incredible

    Please Please Please save yourself hours of your life and do not sign up to a TalkTalk contract. If you ever have a problem with your internet then you will spend hours trying to deal with an incompetent customer services team that will, send you back to the start of a basic troubleshooting process every time you call, fail to call you back when promised, never pass on your details to the next caller and regularly close cases before your problem is resolved. The worst company i have ever signed up to.

    Avoid this company like the plague totally useless I signed up and got no service what so ever for a month but they still took money from my account for a service I couldn't use customer services team don't speak or understand English 3 phone calls lasting over an hour engineer visits and still nothing now they want me to pay a cancellation fee even though I cancelled within the 30 day period this company needs closing down permanently

    Speed is so poor can no longer work from home.
    Support service is poor- clearly not based in the U.K. Standard message us that there is maintenance work.

    I struggled for many years with BT Customer Service but the broadband service itself was very good. I was persuaded by Talk Talk to switch on the basis of a much higher speed only to find that they failed to meet any of their promises. They have made endless promises to solve the issues and at times down right lied and their customer service is even worse than BT but masked in a veneer of caring for the customer. What is even more incredible is that I needed an exterior socket moved and they informed me they are only allowed to open one call at
    a time for a consumer with Openreach who appear to actually do any of the work. It is without any doubt the best example of style of substance and the worst customer experience I have had with any supplier and still the broadband speed falls far below the minimum speed they promised me. BT may have its issues but if I could I would go back tomorrow.

    After cancelling my contract due to it ending and i was moving house had so many problems with Talk Talk. After being accused of not returning the equipment to them (even though i have proof of postage from Royal Mail) and Talk Talk acknowledged they received it after many phone calls, I have debt collectors chasing me for £120 i would not recommend that anyone uses the services of Talk Talk, customer service is very poor and the whole experience in general is stressful - AVOID TALK TALK!!!!!!!

    Absolute shambles of a company and the Customer service is appalling! This is an internet service provider who seems to struggle to provide internet.

    We recently moved and phoned talk talk to see about joining them after a neighbour had recommended them. Said neighbour had a fibre package which we were after. We were told there would no issues with our fibre order and that it would be installed at theirs and our earliest convenience (approx 2 weeks later). All good so far. The day before they were due to attend they phoned and cancelled the engineer appointment saying their was a problem with the line and openreach would have to attend. We then had to wait 3 weeks for an openreach engineer to turn up. He arrived believing he was here to install our fibre and wasnt made aware it was to repair the line. He wasn't able to repair the fault due to not having the correct equipment. The fault in the line was the copper wiring for the fibre at the exchange. We then had to wait another week for another openreach engineer to attend. This engineer was able to repair the fault and install my router etc. My internet wasnt on at this point though and after a phone call with talk talk customer services I was advised my order had been cancelled due to a "techinal error". Just a fancy way of saying someone in the office had cocked up! I was then told I would have to reorder everything and start again which would mean waiting another 2 weeks (at least) for an engineer to attend. At this point I had already been waiting 6 weeks. I requested to file a complaint with their complaints manager. I was eventually passed through to her and after speaking with her for 5 mins she had assured me my internet would be active by the next day and she didn't understand why the last agent had told me my order had been cancelled. I was happy with this believing I would finally be getting internet but of course this wasnt case. The next day came and my internet still wasnt connected. I phoned talk talk very frustrated at this point for another agent to tell me my order had in fact been cancelled! They advised theres nothing they can do and must follow normal procedures which would mean waiting 2 weeks for an engineer again to activate my internet. I advised I had an engineer yesterday who repaired the line and connected me up and that I also had my router so I didn't understand why they couldnt just switch me on. I was told this couldnt happen as they must follow the normal procedure. I demanded to speak to a manager and was eventually passed through to one. This manager then told me she wasnt allowed access to certain parts of my account to answer my questions so swiftly got told to put me through to a manager who actually can. Over an hour on the phone by this point I finally got through to a manager who could go into further details about my order. They advised they cancelled my order because of the repair to the phone line needing done. I asked why cancel and not just postpone my go live date to which they never had an answer to. I then asked why it has took 4 weeks, 2 engineer visits, repairing the fault and sending out my router to my address before they realised my order had been cancelled to which they also couldnt give me a valid answer. I was then passed back to an agent who told me they have just noticed fibre isnt available in my street. This is of course an absolute lie. As I said at the start my neighbour has a talk talk fibre package and just to be sure I checked with BT if I could get fibre and they advised me yes. The agent then told me it was just my property on the street that fibre wasnt available in. Yeah ok then why did the engineer repair the fibre line and tell me everything was good to go? Talk talk clearly just couldnt be bothered with the hassle any longer and asked me to cancel my contract. They never even asked whether I may think about downgrading to normal broadband they just wanted rid of me. So even if it were true and I couldnt get fibre in my street they just wanted me gone and again if it were true this has taken talk talk 6 weeks, 2 engineer visits and many phone calls for them to realise fibre isnt available but like I say it's a lie. I will now be joining BT but of course have wasted 6 weeks of my time on talk talk! Avoid them go with anyone else!

    I've been a talk talk costumer for 4 years. And when you contact is up they don't inform you and just put your bill up. So I cancelled my account throw live chat and there 3 months ago and they still send you a bill .so don't go with them.
