    After sign in for talk talk broadband i was waiting 3 weeka for engineer bit he did not arive and my setup was canceled for some reason.when i call talk talk i was told i need to buy it again and wait another weeks bunch of incompetent losers .dont go with talk talk cuz they just talk

    DONT BOTHER useless appalling customer service broadband speed useless and having 4 engineers out in the 4 week we have been with them still not sorted passed to overseas customer service call centre who just keep repeating themselves when you can understand them then close a fault as rectified when it's still on going ice spent 2 hrs on phone today trying to cancel then there systems go down I wouldn't ever recomend them the other reviews you read on here are true the only thing they do is send your bill on time

    Terrible customer service (call centre outsourced), agents will keep you on hold for 20 minutes at a time. Their broadband speed is not fast at all compared to their competition, additionally it is not reliable.

    Customer service is rubbish.
    I have called them and was told someone would call me back that did not happen I had to call them back. Then I had to repeat the same information 3 times. Which was just drama. I do not understand if these calls are recorded or you make notes why do I have to explain myself. Then I am on hold and I can hear everthing that is being said in the background. What kind of service are you offering people. An to top it off I left you in October it is now January 2015, and I am still getting bills, an you are putting charges on my account. I really think. That once a person has left your company that you should finalise the last bill 30 days after they left not 3 months later. I will never go back to talk talk and I would not be recommending them to anyone. Customer Service appalling. Staff need to go on Customer Service course and get an NVQ Level 1.

    They are the least helpful and worst company for customer service I have ever experienced. They are out to take your money and make everything (EVEN PAYING THEM) difficult.

    I've been with TalkTalk for years now and the service is terrible.
    I've had constant Phone line issues as well as rubbish broadband.
    My kids come home from school and can't even connect to the internet to complete their homework at times.

    Nearly every time I've called Customer Service I've been treated poorly with their workers either showing me attitude or making it seem as if I do not know what I am trying to explain to them.

    Would recommend to stay away from them. Am looking to find new, more reliable provider.

    Poor broadband service - it has been intermittent from the beginning, which makes watching a streaming video extremely frustrating. When I called customer service to resolve the problem, I spent half an hour on the phone to do something which should have taken 5 minutes. I called customer service a second time in response to an email from TalkTalk offering a free upgrade in recompense for the hacking fiasco. I wanted a free visit from an engineer. The customer service operator talked me into upgrading to fibre, but lied about the cost and failed to mention that this would mean I couldn't get the free visit from the engineer. I was passed to another customer service operative who was equally useless. Their poor English combined with background noise makes it very difficult to understand them, and they ignore all of my questions. Cancelling the fraudulent order will no doubt take me another hour on the phone with their diabolical customer service.

    Worst cutomer service I hav ever received from any supplier in my whole life.
    I took talk talk connection because there was a good deal but a couple of months later my discount was taken away and I was being charged more than I agreed. I did not notice it first because I had a direct debit set up but then I rang them and I was told that the dal I had taken was has expired. I asked them why would I take a deal for it expire only 2 months after the contract started. After a discussion I was given the extra money charged as a credit over the time of my contract.Recently (after being with talk talk for 1 year) I moved out of the property and wanted to know my options. I could take the coneection to my new accomodation as it was temporary and there was already internet connection there so I could either cancel the contract by paying around £180 or hold the account till the end of January to be moved over to my permanent accomodation. I was told there would be no chanrges while the account is on hold. Then I got an email from talk talk saying someone is taking over my line. I rang again and was told that because someone has moved to the property where I was living and they want to take over the line and that my contract with talk talk would stay the same and I will be given a new line when I move the services to my permanent accomodation. I again confirmed whether I could still hold the account till the end of January and I was told yes and that there are no charges. A few days later, got an email with a bill of £75 so I rang again and was told that this is contract breakage fee. I said to the customer service adviser that I had not broken the contract and that I will be taking the services to my permanent accomodation by the end of January. He said it is automatically generated bill and that I dont have to worry about it. A couple of days late money was taken from my account so I rang back again only to be told that my contract with talk talk has been cancelled. I was shocked to hear that because I was repeatedly told that my account was on hold. This time I was told that if I take a new contract with talk talk I will be refunded this fee but that would mean that I will have to sign up for another 18 month contract at a price higher than my previous contract price. I have spoken to customer service managers since then and no one has admitted to their mistake. They are insisting that they were right to concel my contract because line was taken over by some other provider. I would have been ok with the fee only of I was given this information when I spoke to the customer service adviser. Finally I was told that this issue will be escalated to the senior manager and was given a reference number. I was told that I will get a call back in 2 days but didn't get any call so I rang again and was told that there has been no response yet from senior management and that I will get a call back the same day or the day after. Again no call as expected, so I rang again today and got the same response but this time I was told that they couldn't give me any response time and they couldnt pass me on to someone else becasue there is no one senior to the customer service manager. I will not recommend the service to anyone after what I have been through.

    Had for a while now, has to be the worst pile of junk ever! My friends always ask me to come online so I do (well atleast for a short period of time) until I get disconnected. To make things even worse, it can't be the fact that my router is out of date or anything because we had a new one fitted only a few months ago. The signal in my area is perfectly fine because of my friends connections and they are all with different service providers. In my advice, if you are ever considering changing networks, NEVER consider this one or if you are getting internet for the first time my advice is the same.

    Absolutely shocking company. Avoid at all costs. Never have i experienced a company so unprofessional. Continuous problems with broadband, billing, customer service over a 3 month period. Switched to Virgin no comparison !

    Wost broadband i have every had, never works for a start constantly have to use my phone data. Even google fails to load it literally goes down mutiple tomes a day. I am not usually one to moan or write a review, but thought id have to tell people, cant watch netflix, 40d, youtube, play xbox it is literally the worst internet iv ever had and iv had them all. You pay for what you get and i regret getting rid of sky now.

    Joined Talk Talk 2 weeks ago and feel as if I've been MIs-sold. Bought fibre but problems with connection, good service to let me know it wasn't working and it was a problem with Talk Talk. Fibre now working but I have not had so many connections problems as I have now. Constantly reloading internet connection - feel sorry for those without fibre - do you actually manage to use the Internet? So much for a Which recommended service, just lost faith in Which too. Not looking forward to the next 18 months, may have to cut my losses, pay for another reliable provider and ccomplain to Trading Standards - not acceptable -- recommend you do too.

    Since I had TT installed in December it has been one problem after another.

    Please people if you are even considering joining them DONT, do your research first, go to Twitter and lookup the hashtag #TalkTalk go to their forums and see the thousands of unhappy customers. Read the reviews on this very site.

    Yes they are cheap, but its a nightmare.

    This is possibly the worst Broadband company in the UK. They would not survive in other countries but somehow stay afloat due to the British people's apathy towards ISPs. Not only does our internet cut out at least 3 times a day for no reason, Talktalk also throttle broadband speeds. So instead of receiving our whopping 3MB broadband, in the evening or at weekends, we receive 1.5mb broadband. Our household has made a chore out of rationing bandwidth - "Are you using Iplayer? we want to watch sky sports. Are you watching a youtube video? suddenly I can't do anything. Are you on Spotify? I can't play this game any more".

    We have had 3 engineer visits over the past 8 months due to broadband speeds dropping to <1MB internet, often 0.2. Talktalk have been absolutely useless on the matter. Often attempting to blame 'wireless speeds' despite telling them we use Powerline adapters throughout the house.

    The first engineer replaced the apparently faulty router, nothing changed. the second did not even come to the house, and called to say he was fixing something on the line- nothing changed. After phoning the 3rd time, in early January, they said the engineer was coming on February 20th. So we had <1MB internet for a whole month. After messing around for an hour, the engineer finally confirmed there was a fault on the line, and BT engineers would fix that fault in the next 3 days. Since doing so, our speeds have gone up to a whopping 2.8MBps. Unfortunately, the broadband cuts out about 2 times every morning for 15 minutes, and 2 times in the evening for about 15 minutes for no apparent reason.

    I urge you not to use this company as they simply do not deserve your hard earned cash. They deserve to be out of business and would be deemed unfit for purpose in other countries, so why not here.

    Never have i experianced so much stress from one company and false information given to me, have had nothink but trouble with talk talk sine i joined.I suffer ill health and had nothink but stress from talk talk making my ill health worse. I would not reccomend talk talk to anyone.

    Honestly saying disgusting experience..
    been told that that will get average 49/63 MB peed..could,nt get me over 22.

    Spoken to costumer service ,,and been told wait for 14 days..
    They only wanted me to wait unless the cooling off period finih..
    Got a letter that i may be charged £374.64.a an early exit fee.
    total false information.instead of solving my problem they wanted me to wait for 14 days so they can charge me early exit fee..Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish

    If I could give none I would. Out of all broadbands please safe yourself the stress and go elsewhere virgin media, sky , BT anything else.

    Because my experience with them is a joke. To no WiFi connection slowest broadband ever, worse than student accommodation and there’s multiple students 100s sharing that WiFi company and this WiFi is struggling to reach my bed room from my kitchen. Ridiculous. Then you call the company rudest staff was told what do you want me to do about it. It’s your fault you got charged a fee....we don’t control the speed of the WiFi. Let run a test. That does nothing. Only good thing was one lady who understood and waived a fee for me as she understood how ridiculous the amount was. But overall a total disgrace.

    Can't put into words how bad this company is! They are that unprofessional that they should be SHUT DOWN for good! After they switched us from AOL to a new account they continued to take our money for both accounts even though we only have one line and they didn't close the account down. After spending hours on the phone for a refund of my money they told me that they had moved the money to the new account and I could have a refund. After persisting they told me they could send it in 10 days time by a cheque! to me They refused to pay it directly back into my account of which it was taken.
    After advising their agent on the phone (recorded call remember!)I have therefore INVOICED Talk Talk £50 a day for holding my money for the period that they have quoted to return it back to me directly to the Head of Complaints – CEO's Office, TalkTalk Group, PO Box 344, Unit 19, Southampton, SO30 2NP.
    Had a call from yet another incompetent agent claiming to be the highest in the tree from the CEO office saying that they wont be paying my bill and that mistakes happen. If the bill isn't paid then I will push it through the legal system. Already Complained via OFCOM and will be CLOSING ACCOUNT irrespective of any fee's to GET RID OF TALK TALK FOR GOOD! NONE RETURNING CUSTOMER!!!!!

    I am unhappy at all with their service. My broad band keeps cutting off and I have to change to my mobile data most of the time when I am planning to do something important like paying my bills online because I am worried that the connection will stop half way through the process and I have to repeated it again.I keep complaining about it and when ever I chat or call the same check and the same procedure but no difference. The broad band start to work ok for few days and the same problem starts again.
    When I chat with the agent they keep advertising about another expensive broad band option which is I am not interested in.
    I am planning to leave them.

    signed up for superfibre last year.
    disaster as then had no internet for a month . appalling reliability. rubbish router is ALWAYS stopping working and needing reboot . can`t wait to leave when contract finished

    The slowest and lowest quality broadband provider. They should consider of shutting down or sorting it out. I use my mobile to hotspot my laptop and it works 100 times better. It's a joke, not a broadband

    I have never dealt with a worse company in my life. Internet speed was very slow, service terrible and on demand TV never worked. I then cancelled back in November and am still arguing with them over charges on my account, with conflicting emails sent by TalkTalk on a regular basis. First telling me everything is settled, then telling me I have to pay again. Stay well clear!!

    I could fill a book with an account of my dealings with this company over the past 12 months. I have lost a great deal of money due to a scamming attempt, endured up to 12 scamming calls per day, lost service for several weeks because the 'engineers' spoke such poor English that they could not identify what turned out to be a minor technical problem. I was never warned about the leaks that led to the scamming attempts; refused permission to cancel my contract; received no apology or compensation; and was told repeatedly that the company suffered no more than any other from leaks and scams. I could go on...

    Having never in my life felt the need to review any product I have purchased, I felt compelled to document just how terrible this company is.
    Their foreign call centre 'installation team' are robotic and are simply unable to deviate from a programmed script. Following daily calls to check on when an engineer would be returning to complete my installation, I was simply given a date of 2 days in advance and would be told to await the report from the engineer. That date would pass and a further date was provided, again 2 days in advance. Like groundhog day, this process went on for 2 months.
    It got to the point were I was lied to about attendances that never occured and they simply continued to blame BT Openreach.
    I cancelled my order due to their complete inability to be able to be able to converse with another human being and due to the deceipt and ability to offer anything other than a scripted apology.

    I have no idea how this company exists in a market of broadband providers.

    It's a shame, the telephone & broadband service are just like any other basic packages on the market but sadly they seem to suffer from poor customer services & a lack of communication. I have had a number of issues with them & they have never been sorted out properly & one being I had 2 payments taken from my bank account to which the promised to return the funds in 14 days, this never happened so I had to turn to the bank to reclaim the charges. I have also had an awful lot of cold calls from them altering packages which they say will benefit me, I have found out today they had miss informed me of a change made. They phoned me from India & told me after they have looked through my account I would have a significant saving with my current profile but this was contradicted by there representative in the UK who told me there was no benefit at all looking from my past profile but stopped short of agreeing it was miss sold to me but said he was sorry. I have also had other cold calls offering me better deals later on & on my last one around October/November in 2011 they tried to tie me into a new 18 month contract & I made it clear I was no interested they then said they would do this without any contract so I could see for my self the benefits & would be happy. I agreed to this but the customer services in the UK had no record or any amendments to my policy. I have dug out my customer complaints e-mails from last year with all the issues & will be going through the motions of there complaints procedure again. Talk Talk could be a good service but it seems the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, the comments I make here are only the tip of the ice berg & much more has gone on by far so this only reflects my personal views on there service.

    Broadband service is very much unreliable. Internet signals keep dropping. Customer service try hard to keep the service running. Engineer came to improve the speed and lied to me claiming that he has changed profile and the speed has gone up from 7.0 MB to 12 MB. I checked then and there and speed was less than 5mb. In fact the speed never goes above 6.5MB and late evenings the signals keep dropping out.

    Signed up to broadband, they took order details, payment details and gave me a date for the engineer to visit, he did not show up.

    I have been speaking to TalkTalk customer services for 4 hours now, they said I had 2 accounts at first, then they say I have only one account and NO RECORD OF MY ORDER ATALL. AND BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO RECORD THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I offered to send my confirmation email and they were not interested!!!! All they were interested in was putting me through to sales team to make another order!!!!!!

    hi everyone.please please stay way from talk talk as they are after your money.i been with them just 6 month and finaly today i left them after 28 not fixing the problem on home broadband.they offered me fiber with high speed but im chasing my own tail for six month.

    This is absolutely the slowest internet from my perspective, the download speed doesn't go higher than 1mbs and also the Internet has downfalls as it continuosly stops and then comes back on. I advise Talk Talk group to act upon this as it's seriously becoming a huge issue for many people.

    I would rate them 0 if I could! My tv and internet was supposed to be on a week ago,I call up to tell you it's not working,you do a diagnostics test and tell me that my internet is not working,you tell me an engineer needs to come out,and tell me you have the 8th available,which to then I tell you I'm not waiting 2 weeks for my Tv and internet,you call me back saying you have the 29th available,so I try to call you back to confirm but can't get through,it is the 29th today so I obviously am not getting the appointment,every time I call your team which is atleast once a day all I get is 'we need to do a diognostics test' so I have to tell them over and over 'I DONT NEED A DIOGNOSTICS TEST,I NEED A ENGENIEER TO COME OUT,ITS ALREADY BEEN CONFIRMED BY YOUR TEAM MY INTERNET IS NOT WORKING' to then I'm told I will be called within 24 hours to confirm an appointment,which of course I don't get a call,I've gone over a week now with no tv and internet which I'm expected to pay for,you can think again!!! I would leave right now if I didn't have to pay £44 to get out of the contract,most laziest,unreliable,careless company I've ever come across,I thought virgin was bad hence why I started with you but if I knew this would have happened I would have remained a customer with them!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT GO WITH TALKTALK
