If I could give them zero I would.
Started off great and convenien eg could move router outside in summer. Speeds of 300mb.
Deteriorated to the point of being unusable - speeds of sub 1mB, especially during the day time.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS - DO NOT CONSIDER THIS PROVIDER EVER

Avoid at all costs. They messed us around for 6 months claiming they were fixing the poor connection, only to later finally say that they can’t offer 5G in SW London whilst their website and (Indian based) employees stated otherwise.
Shocking experience. Avoid avoid avoid.

This is the most unreliable Internet I have ever had and we live in Reigate in Redhill, which is not far from major connections. Do not buy this. If you’re counting on stable Internet, need to work from home or do conference calls. Please also be aware that for some reason they put on parental controls that you only can have removed if you go to the shop. Do not buy this product. It’s crap.

Tried to cancel last month using online chat. As told it was being done. Today get a call demanding payment for the month as the cancel request didn't go through.
I find it quite convenient that I'm at fault and need to pay for threes mistake. Typical rip off Britain style of operation. Take Advantage of your customers.

This is the worst internet I have ever worked with in my entire life. The service keeps dropping and the speed is nowhere near what was promised in the contract. Customer service keeps repeating the script that they need to read out whenever you call with an issue and are never able to help. I've asked mulitple times to cancel the contract that they are in breach of by not providing the service they have promised and yet they want to charge me an early cancellation fee. In what world do I need to pay to end a contract that they are not fulfilling?! AVOID AT ALL COST

Switched from Talktalk landline based broadband to 4g. Speeds were poor but on the whole reliable. Sold a pup by Three with carrot of no landline fees. Speeds are worse and TV streaming is a chore. Customer service is appalling. Now stuck with this shockingly poor company for 24 months. AVOID!

Three 5g broadband really is something I was a bit iffy at first but wow. If your close to a 5g mast your laughing place the modem in the window and you have full fast reliable connection u download a lot some big files and they come down faster than that of normal fiber broadband I can download a 70 gb file in mins it's so impressive I don't know why anyone would pay for a fixed connection it's much faster than any fixed broadband I can't recommend it enough

Three Broadband.
If it works for you, great. Best of luck trying to cancel with these absolute jokers if you aren't happy with it however.
I had a horrendous time with Three Broadband. Joined in February 2023. Called to cancel within 30 days as the upload speeds weren't good and the router needed a daily manual reboot. It took them ages to send me the returns label. Had to call three times over 7 days for them to send it. I was worried about not receiving the returns label as it was coming up to the end of their 30 day returns policy and I didn't want them coming back to me saying it was too late to return. Eventually it was sent, so I packed up the device, took a photo of the parcel and sent it back. Kept a copy of the DPD receipt. Constantly checked the DPD tracking and when I saw it was received by Three, I thought nothing of it at that point.
A month went by and had a text saying my bill was due. No payment was needed as I was originally on a three months free offer but called to query this anyway and was told it was 'nothing to worry about'. She took the reference number from my DPD receipt and said no further contact needed. I was skeptical. And for good reason.
As further months went by I kept on receiving warning texts and emails saying my account was falling into arrears. I kept calling them each time for them to later state they never received the router back despite me giving them the reference number from DPD proving it was received at their returns office on time. They even once had the cheek to ask me to contact DPD as it was lost with them despite it clearly showing as receiving and signed for at Three.
Early August, I had an alert from Credit Karma. June and July were updated as missed payments by Three and this caused my credit score to immediately drop dramatically. Also checked my Experian credit file to find the same score drop.
I immediately raised a complaint with Three via their website who took around ten days to call me back. When they called me back, I was horrified to hear them ask for the reference number from the tracking again and asked me to contact DPD. The tracking number was provided within the complaint webform! When I contacted DPD they said they had fulfilled their obligation and it had clearly been signed for at the receiving end so it had to be only Three to resolve the matter. I was stern but polite, but insisted that they must resolve the complaint. They said they'd further contact me within 7 days as they'd need to check with the backend team.
No contact was made by them so I went on their webchat a few days ago to firmly assure them that I will be taking this matter to the ombudsman should this not be resolved within a timely matter due to the detrimental effect on my credit file through no fault of my own. An hour passed, and the agent agreed to finally cancel the contract down fully but seemed to have a tone as if Three were doing me a favour on this occasion. I queried of course the credit file issue but he insisted he'd raise a report with the credit file team to get the derogatory markers removed within 30 days. No-one in the right mind would blame me at this point for being a little doubtful. Should the markers not be removed in that time I will contact the ombudsman and CK/Experian/Equifax to raise a notice of correction.
Over the years I have been a Three customer on and off ever since the brand launched on 3rd March 2003. Generally they've been great; but my experience in 2023 with them has been nothing short of horrifying. I won't actively consider them again. If I did want to go back, I'd only consider an MVNO of theirs like Smarty that doesn't affect your credit file and a plan you can easily cancel online.
What a bunch of cowboys. I now shudder whenever I see a TV ad of theirs.

Worst network broadband and mobile data both from three. Even zero is not worthy given this company. Customer service took 20 mints over the phone trying to figure out which post code I am in. We are not getting the service that we paid for. We must take this company to court. We are paying monthly without getting just average net.

Poor network connection ALL of the time. Was mis-sold business contracts (broadband & mobile). Broadband speed was 0.5 to 2 meg in my business (so I have started cancellation procedure). I was told they use a different network from their mobile network so broadband speeds are faster- a lie! My mobile business contracts are no better- lose all benefits (Three Plus). Ive written 2 complaints without reply. Very poor overall.

I had very unpleasant with 3 customer service. I had submitted cancellation form a month ago yet received the due payment for the next month, when call to explain the adviser said it required 30 days of notice to cancel which I was explained to them that I had submitted the online form for cancellation a month ago and if 3 have problems with website that is not my problem, now they wants me to proof of submission !! How could that possible be as once you submitted the form, the page will resume back and clear the informations that submitted.I clearly explained it to them yet they are persistent of I should give 30 day’s notice and better yet told me that the cancellation form online is for handset LOL, I told them have you check on website and see what it’s written on it, it’s written home board band cancellation form. !!! I should have never start of using 3 and never again. By the way they customer service is base outside uk so what that it tell you.

Formerly a Three UK mobile PAYG customer, but no more. In our opinion and experience, the Three network is beyond terrible and has been for several years.
All we ever got from Three UK was persistent daytime throttling, and constant disconnects.
How Three gets away with it is anyone's guess.If we'd had a contract with Three, we'd have been screwed.
For the love of all that is holy, think hard and read reviews before you get stuck in a Three UK mobile contract you can't get out of.
We have found Three UK internet absolutely appalling Since we last reviewed them, their network has got much worse.

Cancelled my subscription within the 14 day timescale still continued for months to take money out of my account and sorting this out was a true nightmare. All phones were locked on strict settings and this took forever to get sorted. When asked to escalate things a speak to a manager I was told 3days and we might get back to you. Very very unhelpful. If you try to raise a complaint expect to get fobbed off and the process to be hindered and blocked by this company. I am still awaiting them to send me the legal complaint protacols, they haven't.. ombudsman next I think

So, I decided to try a 3 mobile broadband. This is a nightmare. Believe me. Just avoid it. Even if you have a good speed, the ping and packet loss are insane. Sometimes my ping goes to 1500ms and the packet loss is always more than 5%. It’s impossible to play video games. And there is no chance you can stream. Unfortunately I have a 24 months contract, but right now I’m considering to cancel my contract and get a proper internet. Getting a 3 mobile broadband was the worst decision in my life. You pay for something you don’t actually have. This internet is extremely unstable. Don’t make my mistake. Get a proper internet even if it’s more expensive

I went with 3 mobile (using a MiFi router) as I wasn't sure how long I would be at this address and the only other option seemed to be Satellite. Speeds have been incredibly poor - no more than 9mbps, but usually under 5 - since I have been here and often drops out. Customer service response is always the same as "status checker" on the internet - "we are working on masts in your area", which seems to be permanent, and in 18 months there has been no improvement. If it wasn't for the cancellation fee I would have changed months ago. The worst internet I have ever had - and I have lived in remote areas in Brazil with better service!

Absolutely the worst connection since dial up. I have complained twice and of the 3 months I have paid for the have refunded 1 and never had a good connection.
They have admitted it is over subscribed and or they are doing work in the area and upgrading.
Initially they promise it would be fixed in Febuary now they are saying end of April.

The broadband was overpriced, not very fast and quite often dropped out. But that's not my main beef with 3. When I opted for a cheaper, faster service with another provider, the agonising process of cancelling my account began. It involved several conversations, during one of which I was informed that I had to return the router etc within 5 days of receiving a prepaid envelope, or I would be fined £170. That in itself is bad enough, but I discovered I was also expected to return the 'gift' of a google speaker which was offered as an inducement to join in the first place. My understanding of the concept of 'gift' is that once given, it remains in ownership of the receiver. Not, as it seems to be in the case of 'gifts' from 3, something conditional and reversible. And what are they going to do with a second hand speaker? Land fill? It's a cheap, tawdry attitude on the part of 3, and it will put me off ever considering them again.

The worst broband ever!! Try to call customer support and they need 20 minutes to pick the phone just to tell you that they are sorry but they can’t help you! the internet is not working for a week now but it seems like they don’t really care! 95% of the time the internet is not working!!! so shame that a company like then allow something like this to happen! shame!

At first my mobile broadband was good. For weeks now it is pretty much non existent. I called 3 to ask why my mobile broadband connection was so incredibly slow. In the end of the call an agent at 3 told me they would investigate and call me back within 7 days. They never did call me back. I Still have a rubbish connection. Also it's is very hard to understand the people they have on the other end of the phone. Its all quite rubbish and I'm still left with a super slow connection. The live chat never seems to work either.

We decided to try the 4g home hub as internet speeds and reliability are vital for my wife who works for the NHS from home three days a week. (The other days she works in the hospital). From the start the speeds were nothing like as advertised. Our old adsl connection were as fast (between 4 and 6 mbps) and the reliability of service was woeful. I (foolishly) persuaded her to stick with it to see what happened. What happened after 4 months of frustration and unreliability is that we cancelled the agreement subject to having to pay almost £350 for a service that was so pathetic that it is disgraceful that any company can be allowed to trade with such misleading and false claims. Presumably this is how they make their money. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. WE ARE LOSING £350… DON’T BE NEXT

Back in Oct '22 we ordered a 4G router (ZTE MF286D). Very impressive speeds. After a week we sent it back as we were in contact with Shell Broadband until May. We weren't charged anything, even for the data we'd used. May '23 we dumped our landline and got the same router on a 24 month contract. Speeds are around 100Mbs down, 5-20Mbs up. I've seen 150Mbps at best. We had part of one day sub-10Mbps and their status checker said they were working on our mast.
Our son moved house and I suggested he get a Three router until BT installed his broadband, then send it back wthin 30 days. The sent a 5G router which falls back to 4G in their village. BT messed him around so he kept it. He's in a "not great" 4G area but still gets 40-70Mbps - easily enough for two people WFH and a toddler watching youtube.
Sooo... get one on the 30 day moneyback guarantee. Trial it. Expect slightly slower speeds when everyone is home.

I purchased the 5g hub at £20 per month so I could cancel if it wasn't strong enough for my property. In fact its £24 per month and I had to try to cancel twice. I was then charged another 2 months on top even though it hasn't been in use. 3 then sent the debt straight to a collection agency who are hounding me. I'm autistic and regardless its poor quality, inaccurately advertised, cust service is rubbish and has left me much more out of pocket than I should be. Disgusting behaviour.

Not had experience of customer service yet but the 5G broadband is faster than full fibre here. Fastest speed I've had was at my parents' place 1020Mb down and 108Mb up. can't grumble with that for £20 a month

Always been a little slow. However now appalling. Speeds if working around 1.5. Virgin on 3 g grinning 5 plus. Complained to 3 shop 3 times over last 6 months. No action taken. Complained December told problem at mast. Promised to be sorted out end February.

Three offer a static IP address to their business broadband customers in Ireland but not in England. They can't explain why, so it appears to be a poor business and customer service decision, as there are a number of businesses for which this is a basic requirement.

Received my three 5g router. Firstly there was no sim card in the package. I was told to get one from my local three mobile store, that was 30 miles away. So wasted 2 hours and £20 of fuel to go get that. set it up and couldn't get a signal. Finally found a spot in house where it Received a signal. Did a speed test and was getting between 0.5mbs to 5mbs ish and less than 1mbs upload. Contacted customer services to basically be told It should be fine and to try everything I already did. I was then told might need an antenna but three won't recommend one let alone supply one. Then was told to just cancel my contract. Customer service although they was polite, clearly didn't care. I then had to waste another hour of my time just to be able to cancel it. Now I'm going to have to waste more time and money going to the post office just to return the router. DO NOT RECOMMEND AND DEFINITELY WILL NEVER USE THREE FOR ANYTHING AGAIN.

Nonsense speeds with 5g router. Its giving me a speed of 2-20mbps variable. Totally unreliable. My ee mobile gives me speeds of 30-50mbps on 4g signal. Just bought it today and i live on the 4th floor with no high rise building near by still terrible reception.
