    My advice is do NOT sign a contract with three. They have to be the worst phone provider I have ever dealt with.
    Cannot sign into account,technical issues, outrageous charging of bills. Completely disgusted..never again

    i live in tower hamlets in east london. three 4G is very weak and very slow. all the time signal is very weak and not fast 4g ongoing problem. three masts are too congested in our area. left three network after 6 months. every singla day and night i had problems with their 4G speeds.

    I have expected much more from a company such as Three.

    The Three guy at the Chester shop said I should get "tier 1" reception and I should not believe the negative reviews. He was wrong on both accounts.
    The TV that needs only 3mps gives me distorted picture. Even the simple internet browsing takes a long time.

    My advice is only to use them if there are no other options.
    I will be disconnecting the service the minute my cable service is connected.

    Terrible all round. I am appalled at the way they treat people. My contract expired and I told 3 I was not renewing it. They sent a text to confirm this but they have since upgraded it without my permission.I have since been on the phone many times but they do not want to understand. They said that I did not inform them that I did not want to continue with 3 but the text I received confirmed that they were sorry I was not renewing and leaving them. This shows that they are lying. It seems they are desperate for our custom. I have also completed the complaints form and until now have received no automatic response as they have promised on their website. Terrible service.

    Finally cut ties with Sky after many painful expensive years. Loved the idea of broadband w/o a landline. Never used it otherwise. Really impressed for the first 3mths on 3's pay monthly home broadband deal, just to try it out. Easy setup and great fast reliable streaming at the beginning. Rarely dropped a stream for three months. So we decided to take on a 12mth contract. Another precaution because we didn't want to get 'trapped' in any more long life-sucking contracts. Of course customer service pushed real hard for us to go for a 24mth contract instead. But I stood firm and said "No thanks!". So we stuck with the 12mth one. Well since the contract started, streaming speeds have slowed and become very inconsistent. We counted the stream drop during TV programs at least 10x during one day. That was on every device used at that time with our Huawei 4G Router 3 Pro, supposedly able to handle up to 65 devices at once. We sometimes use up to 4 at the same time. That's it. We even moved the router around and saw some improvement but only for a short while. I have a mobile with 3 and it's signal and stream are much more reliable. Why is that?? I don't hold much hope out for any vast improvement in the coming months and 3's customer service has proved to be frustrating and unhelpful. I wish somehow we could get out of it. Highly unlikely I know. But on the bright side at least it's not for 24mths. We definitely will chose someone else when this nightmare ends. I highly do NOT recommend 3 for home broadband to anybody. There are far more reliable ones out there.

    Wasted hours on the phone and on chat getting consistently passed from pillar to post. They won't cancel my contract and want over £300 for the pleasure, they're a total joke, I can't even return the huawei cube thing as all the shops are closed, had to cancel DD
    I could go on for hours but they've already drained my will to complain
    Don't get involved in this nightmare, Think I'll try watchdog

    Without a shadow of a doubt AVOID 3. Aside from their absolutely abysmal connection speeds, they claimed they hadn't received the package with the contents of the broadband router when I tried to cancel. When I phoned their foreign, outsourced and rubbish 'contact us' number that they supplied on their fictitious bill, they told me they would investigate my claim and get back to me, instead of this they just moved it on to a debt collection agency (i presume as a scare tactic). Awful Awful company from start to finish.

    Moved in a studio flat on the 19 of February 2021, after searching on the net for a quick easy to handle broadband provider I decided to go for Three 3 mifi mobile broadband. Down load speed between 6.9 Mbps up to 18 Mbpps (late night) 2 devices connected, I am pretty satisfied with the service. And it is the best cost effective solution on the market for an unlimited download mobile broadband 2 years contract.

    7 days after purchase Download speed 11.4 MBPS upload 4.9, handling a laptop and 2 mobiles connecting at the same time with no issues at all. Pretty happy very easy set up you are online in no time after unboxing. No hassle, It is a small portable device highly recommended.

    I can only say the same as others have, 'how I wish I had read more reveiws. The broadband service is diabolical at best, can not connect, slow unusable, then I found if you add a DNS server manually it does change things, it seems the router does not do what it is designed to do, I.E route, so, go online and search for free DNS, pick a couple of DNS ip addresses and go in to the IP address settings in your PC / Laptop/ Phone etc click manual DNS and add some DNS IP addresses, this speeds up the broadband connection on a pc. It worked for me.
    The three mobile broadband service is awful though, nothing can fix that.

    As is often said in these sites. If there was lower than one I would give it. Appalling service, appalling speeds, total lack of interest if youcontact the shop. All in all, I am suprised they are still in business. Just absolute *****. And I NEVER normally bother with giving reviews. So that's how bad it is.

    its a pity i have to give 1 star because they dont deserve it.I have to log in every 5 minutes so its impossible to do anything.I contact customer service who blame everything they can think of weather.location.congestion ect but what it boils down to is they charge for something they dont provide..Absolutely useless,dishonest company..do not waste your money.

    We have it for a couple of months. It was okay in the first month and now is extremely slow most of the time (downloading 81Mb software update in 10 minutes) and not reliable (sometimes okay but most of the time have to wait ages to load a page) . When we signed up we were told in the shop that if it will be too slow we can end the contract earlier but customer service told me not possible. Last 2 weeks were the worst and I spent numerous hours to get to the customer service by phone and the connection kept breaking. I would not recommend this as a main home broadband, maybe as a back up or when there is no other options.

    Very sad though, used this company for mobile phone for several years but broadband - definitely no!

    Terrible internet. Terrible customer service. On the phone for hours. Being placed on hold for an hour. Wont let me cancel sim only contract unless i call a number which puts you on hold for ages. Wouldnt recommend to ANYONE.

    Rubbish service, some days it's 15mbps, some days 20mbps but to many days its 1mbps. Its not good enough and now they are trying to sell me 5g when the 4g hasn't worked consistently. I wonder if they are slowing down the 4g network to encourage people over to the 5g network?

    Totally disgusted with Three. I took out a mobile contract in 2012, which was terminated after the contractual term had ended. Last month, out of the blue, I received a letter from Debt Collectors asking me for an outstanding balance of £31.00.
    So, after four years, THREE decided that their only option was to send in Debt Collectors. If, at the termination of my contract, there was an outstanding balance why was it not collected by direct debit? Absolute joke! I asked Moorcroft Debt Recovery Ltd to provide an account statement showing Invoices and payments and all I have received is a letter confirming the date I took out the contract and the balance. Shocking - buyer beware!

    Very poor customer service. I was phoning on behalf of my brother (had permission). I tried to buy a new phone literally giving them money and they messed up the details numerous times, passed me around to different people and left me hanging. Terrible customer service, they pass you on if they can’t deal with it.

    absolutely horrific customer service! I've been having issues with my mobile broadband and Three simply refuses to take responsibility for it and they want to charge me loads of money to cancel the contract. I'm now making a complaint to the Communication Ombudsman Service.

    The worst Internet service ever!!!!!! Everything everyone else says on here is absolutely true. The only positive thing I can say is some times, weekdays, upto 18:00 I can watch Netflix for a few hours, bbc, itv 4od buffer all the time and My5 don't even bother. After 18:00 and weekends it stops all the time, have to keep resetting it. I have been without any service for hours at a time. Like now for instance. Customer service lie, in fact fight back!! I would bet staff at Three don't have or use it. I have 3 phone, now just sim contract after years of huge bills, I use it as a hot spot, in the same home as my broadband and get a better service (tho that also buffers like crazy) DON'T BOTHER WITH 3 BROADBAND, PLEASE BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS

    Absolutely unreliable service. Unable to Skype or video conferencing. Misleading information before signing contract. Costumer service advised me to monitor my internet speed and tried to convince me that there is no problem with traffic volume when all my tests shown that service is grossly oversubscribed. Summarized : one horror story in 10 years of using internet.

    Shockingly bad. Its now basically unusable and I have to use my 02 phone to tether to my computer. So annoyed. It cuts off all the time and everytime I try to upload a file it basically renders the whole broadband useless. Customer service (in India) just tell me to move my router - after 45min chat... How many more times can I move my router??? I wish I could give less than 1 start but I can't

    Absolutely terrible customer service. They charged me for 2 further months after I called them to say I moved, yet left me no messages. I was a loyal customer for years and now they charged me for months I didn’t use. The broadband was slow and definitely unreliable. I will never be using their services again

    Was once okay, but for the last few months speeds are terrible. Cant play on xbox until after 10pm, or before 9am, during daytime it wont even sign in. During the day, with dial up speeds on laptop just looking at ebay etc. They have oversold capacity, and are now throttling . Just downloaded a 40gb game, it manages about 6gb a night so it only took around 8 days. I will not be renewing contract.

    Wow.... Where do I begin? I've been with three for 7 months or maybe a little bit more. I first signed up online to get a contract and when that did not work I went in store to sign a contract without knowing that I had 2 contract with them. Everytime my bill printed something just was not right and when I called in they would say it's because I went over my minutes which is why I was being charged so much. I finally got through to a manager who explained that I had two bills. I was very annoyed because all the time I spent on the phone to them complaining about my bill they failed to explain this to me. To put injuries on the salt, they also failed to cancel the second contract which the manager on the phone promised she would do. 5 months later I get a letter saying to pay an outstanding bill for the contract which was meant to be cancelled. I spent more than an hour on the phone speaking to at least 4 agents to get only 1 month free for my up and coming bill. I am still fighting to be compensated for the months I paid for the other line

    God knows why am still with them. I don't even get signal worst of all the customer service is shocking. I am currently looking for a new company. I will never recommend three to anyone because it does not help there customers or listen to them. I would advise you advoid this company

    Cancelling a contract takes at least 3 phone calls speaking to different people and takes well over 30 minutes each time. I have had mobile broadband with them on a dongle and for a tablet and cancelling both was a nightmare. They are rude, arrogant, pushy and offer no help. These calls cost me a great deal because I don't have a three phone and they just try to keep you on the phone as if their persistence will encourage you to take out a new contract. Not to mention that their signal for mobile broadband is poor and not worth the money. I won't be using their services again.

    Just beware that if the post office is slow in returning the router, under the money back guarantee, then you will be receiving almost hourly phone calls from the collections department. There is nothing you can do to stop this (I was told before hand that if I called with the barcode from the return receipt that would be enough - its not, only the router in their hands counts). This might sound minor, but it took the post office 2 months to return the router and during that time I was flagged as a debtor requiring hourly calls.

    Sadly, I can only agree with many of the comments from others. Streaming crashing when another computer simultaneously in use. Speed both upload and download going to a crawl whilst streaming and pings increasing tenfold. Atrocious lack of technical knowledge by anyone, passing from one sevice agent to another who can only either suggest repositioning the router or resetting the router - both useless suggestions.

    After months of phoning, I finally got a no-cost termination of my contract. Changed to Vodafone on their equivalent package and have no problems.

    I wrote to the CEO's office to discuss not only the technical issues but the fact that 3 didn't deliver a replacement router on an agreed date (had to take a day off work). 3 wont accept this is a breach of contract. 3 pointed out that normally an early terminaton of contract requires the customer to pay a 40% penalty - what, 3 cant supply a minimum acceptable standard and expects customers to pay for early exit?!!!

    Anyway, I have been offered £30 as a 'goodwill' gesture. I refused that and they upped it to £50 in full and final settlement. No thanks, I lost a day's pay and have had months of crap service and crap customer support. I am taking the complaint to the Ombudsmen, not for more money, but to hold these charlatans to account.

    If you are trying to get out of a contract, keep on trying. Alos, log an official complaint as this sets the clock ticking for your, if you want, make a claim to the Ombudsman.

    I have used three mobile broadband for more than 5 years. The broadband has been fine. My issue is not with that. When trying to cancel my contract, I have had to jump through hoops which are just not acceptable. I have spent hours on the app, live chat, email, phone numbers and 'contact us' forms. All getting me nowhere. It's a roundabout of excuses and 'try other' methods...This is massively unfair and looks setup to try and stop anybody from cancelling which is very unethical. I finally got through to somebody who 'understood' my frustrations yet could still not cancel my contract even though that was the department they worked in?! I had to cancel my direct debit as had no other option, now I receive a unpaid bill and the threat of my information passed onto a debt collection agency! After yet more phone calls, just three this time, I spoke to another lady who has said I will have to be charged double the amount that the letter I have just received says??!! This is a joke and feels like a huge scam and disservice to a loyal customer of years. It's even more unreasonable when I have barely even used the service for the last 3 months. Lastly, I have managed to speak to someone who says they will be able to cancel the service but she has to contact another department and will phone me back within 3 working days...So my case is still not resolved. I have even said I am happy to pay the amount for the one month cancellation but think it massively unfair to have to pay an extra month on top of that (is that even legal?). I will certainly not be using three ever again and will be moving my pay as you go service to a rival company asap.

    Got a contract with mobile broadcast on ipad2 since last year, bundled with 15gb mobile data. Very bad reception at home, no working solution (wifi signal, mobile home signal box) all rubbish. I wanted a lower tariff as i am UNABLE to use the mobile data anyway but they could not give me the option. I am still bound to pay the contracted price even if i am dissatisfied with the service. I have faithfully endured one year paying for the device and mobile data which i dont use and to my horror i still need to pay for another year! Customer service misinformed me that i can make changes to my tariff a year after which i thought i will have done today but no. That will cost me early contract adjustment fee of 250£ and if i decide to cancel the service? 250£ all the effin same. The most frustrating customer service encounter of my life.

    In a "good service" area, yet getting top speeds of 5 Mbps and average daytime speeds of 1-2 Mbps. I suggest getting a fibre connection instead, this is simply far too slow

    Three deliberately throttles internet speed and then uses the excuse there is maintenance happening in the area, if that were true all 3 customers would have slow or no network, yet my mobile speed tests at 11.4mbps yet my ai cube broadband speed tests at 1.4mbps with zero devices connected, shameful and I can’t wait for the contracts to end il never use them again their customer service team are arrogant as well when you show them this evidence

    I took up the offer of phone + european coverage as it fitted my needs. Firstly its not very clear that you have to call 3 customer service to enable "roaming" - and I found out when I travelled over there. After having to call from friends phone (waiting about an hour) at premium rates they assured me that my phone will be enabled between 1-4 hours. Nothing! They didn't even respond to an email I sent later that day threatening to cancel my contract. Upon return to UK you are sent through a maize of telephone options only for you to be told to call back later. I only got listened to when I went through cancellation line! Don't bother with 3, they promise lots and deliver an awful service.

    WORST INTERNET PROVIDER EVER!.Joined Dec 2019, got Huwaie B535 4G Home Broadband, was amazing for first 2 weeks downs of around 25 to 30 Mbps, then it all went wrong, now Im at 1Mbps and sometimes 4 or 5 mbs, most of the time does NOT work.
    Ive complained over the phone so many times, cant pay my bills,impossible to stream any tv, cant even watch youtube,if it does load it buffers all the time,and the bits it does play is totally grainy and blurred.
    My 02 mobile phone used as a wifi hot spot (tethering) gives 37mbps and all works fine when my tv links to that, once back on 3 nothing works.
    I was their biggest hero in Dec 2019, now the biggest hater of 3, should of done more research, i called them tonight to say im cancelling and wont be paying them another penny,ive taken screenshots of speed (with times and dates on) videos of the speedtest etc, all as evidence, i even had to drive to my bank to physically put money in to pay upcoming direct debits, because i could not get online to transfer from one bank to another, total joke.
    My mobile phone is faster then 3 home broadband, but my data is only 2gbs so used that up in no time, so if your reading this thinking of joining people, then don't, what i tell you is the 100% truth of my experience, as of March 3rd 2020, there are still massive outages in the UK, in most towns, Manchester, London, Hull, Bristol to name a few, its been like this for weeks,and for some months, impossible to come home from work and sit down and watch netflix,impossible,3 is absolutely the worst isp ive ever know,was amazing in Dec 2019, now its dire, ive given them chance to resolve this issue,ive reset the router 4 times, gone through all the settings with 3, nothings made it better, they have a massive outage and their network is a total joke, please believe me this is a true honest review, i thought maybe its because they are upgrading their network from 4g to 5g, no its not, they are even having to switch servers on and off just to try and give customers some service, i know this because my speedtest keeps showing different variants of 3s names,its is beyond a joke, if you are with 3 and are experiencing this, then cancel your direct debit, stop paying, send notification to their uk head office,and any evidence you have of the speeds service etc (screenshots/videos etc)they cant charge you for a service they are NOT providing basic english law, if they send you an invoice for the remainder of the contract then sue them for all your losses,and stress and grief caused from them NOT providing a reliable acceptable internet service, that what i am doing,its a joke at the end of the day when my mobile phone is much, much faster then their dedicated 4g system

    Do not use three they lie to in the there shops I've been lie to over and over again by them bad customer service about as bad as 02 don't us three am going to EE a hell of lot better come every body don't yes three

    i had the broadband with 3 i had so much problem with it. i phone them up and they sand other router out to me in the end and in a couple of days down the line i was getting the some problem again i was getting very annoyed with this. once again i phone them up again and they said to go down to the stores and they will sort it out for me . when i went down to the stores that day the staff in the stores was not much help at all. come back home with the some problem i plug it back again it work for couple of days and than i was having problem again with it. that this time a had it with us. phone them and i said i was not paying anymore for rubbish network so i cancel my phone and broadband. they said it was fee at all. i have got to other provider and i having no problem at all
