I took out a contract with 3 and couldnt make or receive calls in most of my daily locations. To cut a long story short. They lied to me. They cheated me and they robbed me. When i had finally heard enough falsehoods and broken promises, i stopped paying them and the sent debt collectors after me. Thankfully the debt agency investigated my dispute with 3 and cancelled my outstanding debt. I am grateful to them for this decision but ABSOLUTELY LOATHE 3 AND EVERYTHING THEY STAND FOR. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!

The worst provider i ever experienced.. Signal never works,I live in central London and Im never able to use my services, I constantly need to connect any Wi-Fi wether i am at home or outside.
Recently i gave Birth and when it was time for me to rush to the hospital I tried to make a call to reach my husband but the signal was so pooooor that i couldnt get hold of him. Thanks god i could call via whatsapp using the Wi-Fi from another provider ... very disappointed with that company I have to wait for my contract to end so I can stop this ****

Also when I asked for an extension as my bill came so high they wouldn’t allow me ... real rubbish !

Very poor customer service. I was phoning on behalf of my brother (had permission). I tried to buy a new phone literally giving them money and they messed up the details numerous times, passed me around to different people and left me hanging. Terrible customer service, they pass you on if they can’t deal with it.

I recently took out 12 month contract for 40g of data for £20.00 per.First month my son download some games on to his xbox and the data ran out within 2 days.Second month i allowed him to play on the xbox for 2 hours per day, within 3 days or 6 hours of playing on his xbox it had ran out again!.I contacted THREE, and the adviser told me it very easy to use this amount of data playing for that amount of time on a console like an xbox or ps4.I do not believe that a console like an xbox or ps4 uses that amount of data.I would not recommend THREE to anyone thinking of using THREE's mobile broadband should think long and hard.I will never use THREE again for anything.

I am extremely unhappy with Three. I specifically asked for a cap of £80 when I made my contract. This was confirmed over the phone and later on I received a notification that I was close to my limit. I therefore expected it to stay this way.
Months later, I now receive a notification saying that I am close to my limit, so I check and it is at £209. How can this be if I had a limit of £80?
I called them and they denied any responsibility. I asked them to please check the call or speak to the person who made the contract with me. They said their calls are not saved longer than 12 weeks and the cannot speak to the person who makes the contract. I then asked for a manager and was told that I cannot be put through further than to the complaints department.
I asked if there is anything they can do as this is not my fault and was told that they can't do anything and I should be able to manage my usage better.
I had relied on the cap I had requested, which obviously was forgotten and Three is denying to take any responsibility or try to meet in the middle.

I cannot login to their website and cannot use their app. They collect money through direct debit and so far I have not been able to see my billing info. Today I called their costumer service and she told me if I want to know the billing details of the number I am calling through I should hang up and she will call me back on it. I hung up and she never calls.
It is starting to feel like outright scam.

Been with Three for over 5 years, but today has been a very bad day for our relationship...

Staggering display of incompetence by Three today; called 333 to get SIM from from Son’s phone blocked as it was stolen. Called them from my mobile, yet customer services representative (CSR) asked if it was my number I wanted blocked. I’m pretty sure they can see the number being called from so obviously it’s not this number. However, benefit of doubt given and told CSR that no, not my number, but the Collins number and provided my Son’s phone number. CSR then asked if I wanted a replacement SIM for the one being blocked. I said yes as ultimately we will replace stolen phone. CSR ordered phone and told me I had to £5+ for new SIM. I reluctantly agreed. CSR then says that was all done, though we also blacklisted the stolen phone too via IMEI, which I read out. I thanks CSR and hang up.

10-15 mins pass and I realise I need to call a customer and dial number on my phone. Recorded message tells me I can’t call that number. Odd, I think.. I’ll try another number. Same recording plays. It then dawns on me what’s happened. CSR has somehow managed to block my SIM, despite me specifically giving them my Son’s phone number.

I call 333 again (from Wife’s phone) and speak to another CSR and explain situation. They can see that block has been made but advise they can’t reverse it, as a new SIM has already been registered and sent out. I’d will have to wait the 4-5 days for new SIM to arrive. Not acceptable to me, as my number is an advertised business number used by me regularly and by customers to call me. It’s also part of various security systems whereby texts are sent to allow me to login to systems and to inform me of any security breaches on my vehicle and other systems. I can’t wait 4-5 days. I head to Three store and explain situation and get a new SIM. in store CSR completes migration of number to new SIM and tells me it’ll be working in around 30 mins.

1 hour passes, still no service with new SIM installed, so I contact Three again. First via Twitter support account and then via Webchat, at their request. Spend over two hours waiting for Chat CSR to read details from account and investigate solution. Told again there is nothing they can do, as new SIM is activated to my number and that’s in the post.

So now I have no phone, no mobile internet and no means to resolve it for days. What’s worse is this isn’t the first time Three have made an error like this either. Last time, I tried to upgrade my Son’s plan, as he needed more data. Again, CSR managed to mix mine and my Son’s accounts and changed plan on my phone, which was actually a downgrade, as I was on a much higher call and data plan. Again told me I’d have to wait for it to be fixed. That time is was a whole month, as it needed to wait until the next billing cycle.

Why are CSR staff not able to resolve such issues? I can’t believe that no one at Three/Hutchinson Telecom could have resolved this. But no one seemed to what to try and now I am leaving and taking all three mobile phone accounts with me.

Terrible customer service, prices too high and no offers for me being an existing customer. their packages are for so little mobile data compared to everywhere else. I pay £10 for 15GB of data with BT on Monthly contract now. They want £10 for 500MB on monthly contract. What a rip off. Steer clear.

Travelling from usa for 3 weeks, decided to use a UK mobile while here.
Carp hone Warehouse suggested my3 mobile, so I paid £25 for a SIM for a month, and bought an LG Nexus to use, which was a big mistake in itself.
My3 network dropped Jan 2 overnight, customer support has been unreachable, the website slow and no help at all
Will be taking the phone and the SIM back to the shop where I purchased it, probably won't get my money back, but will spend many hours panning my3 mobile on as many websites as I can.

With Three Mobile, I am getting around 75 Mb/s download speed and 9 Mb/s upload speeds, in semi-rural West Yorkshire.

Reliability has generally been very good, and I now have an external (omni) antenna mounted on my roof (connect to my Huawei B593 router) so I expect reliability to be even better now.

Customer service is usually very good or excellent, with the odd exception. But I find they generally look after me very well.

Definitely recommended.

This technology has been over-hyped by slick advertising. Dongles are over-rated and unreliable. The network signal is poor even in urban areas. My dongle frequently fails to connect to the internet.

The customer service line is obsoliutly useless, to say the least!! I am not a demanding or picky person myself. However, this was just unbelievable! I was staying on the line for over 2 hours on Monday evening and for over an hour on Tuesday morning. The staff had a very poor knowledge, kept me on hold or transfering me all over the departments and eventually made me cry and spoiled my day. While, all I wanted was to keep my old phone number. I was not even switching providers! I just changed the contract, got the new sim card and therefore kindly asked to keep my old number. Until some gentelment under the name Sunny has assisted me in the best possible way, dealing with a Three customer service was the biggest nightmre and a waste of time!!

I wasted so much money topping up my phone or using pay-as-you-go and I've never been so disappointed with a company. I am studying abroad and was told that three was a good phone company to use, but I think otherwise. Three is a terrible company to use. I feel as though all they did was take my money and waste my time. I spent more money on three topping up my phone than I would have with an international plan.

I just wanted to cancel my contract and get a PAC. It took 3 phone calls, one visit to the store, many failed 'reset your password' links. A maddening experience. Our last phone call lasted 50 min ! Totally unacceptable. Plus, I never had any coverage, reason why I wanted to switch in the first place.

I which l had purchased from VODAPHONE as people warned me of the scams from 3 MOBILE...STAY AWAY FROM 3 MOBILE OR YOU WILL REGRET..!!!

Don't get scammed STAY AWAY " 3 MOBILE " & " 3 RESCUE INSURANCE "

Total SCAM " 3 mobile Rescue & 3 mobile " do not trust a word this company sales ... I purchased new phone and insurance damaged my phone and received a new one after many issues with 3 Rescue, when received they did not have a return package package and I requested many times and this was a month ago... know they are going to charge me £350 because phone not returned and even on my emails and calls they agree it's there fault ... I spoke to 3 Mobile for help and they just say it's not there problem 3 RESCUE INSURANCE is not part of there company even though they sold me the insurance...TOTAL SCAM STAY AWAY FROM 3 MOBILE AND 3 RESCUE THEY WILL SCAM YOU AND THERE CALLS ARE HIGH PREMIUM NUMBERS... !!!! I wish I picked VODAPHONE ( I have put recordings of the SCAM ON YOUTUBE & FACEBOOK ) every day posting ...

I have ordered a pay as you go card online, without any adds on and credit that does not expire. Here is what happened next:
1. They do not send an email order confirmation (I have asked customer support about it and he told me you need to go somewhere an choose an option to get a confirmation).
2. I received a wrong card, that expires in 30 days
3. When I phoned customer service I was told that:
- I can't return an unopened card, apparently the normal consumer rights do not apply
- I can't prove that I ordered a different card (no, I can't as I have not received a confirmation) hence I can't take legal action without a proof - I haven't mentioned legal action, he did, evidently the company does everything to make sure that there is no proof.
- Before I phoned, I was looking at the page of the card I bought, 2 min after my call, when I refreshed the browser, my card was gone.

Very unethical company.

Awful awful awful. They try to keep you on the line for as long as possible then tell you they need to transfer you. I explained that I needed to attend to my crying baby and asked that they quickly confirm if my account has actually been cancelled as I requested previous weeks ago. They make it very hard for you to cancel and then they tell you that you need to pay outstanding balance before they will cancel your account even though you no longer use the services or are even able to use the service. Really bad. Would not recommend and would not use again.

Stay away from Three and never take their contracts. They're the worst provider, but ThreeUK don't care. Because it was "all you can eat data" (a lie) we had three years of bad reception, slow and throttled internet and continual price rises. Even worse than TalkTalk and they're useless, rude call centres.

crap . very bad experience with three. don't sign with them!!! costumers service is based in India, you can't even understand them. after 3 days of internet, they cut me off saying I used too much data which is untrue as it was a 40 Giga contract (which is usable for 32 people) and the bill was outrageous. I always have been under usage with my former providers. i called the customer service a thousand times and they tried to bribe me into giving me Giga.i had enough allowance left, they tried to steal money but saying i run out of it. Shame on three! DON'T sign with them, they are thieves!

Terrible signal and connection on phone network I have with them it took me a year to sort out numerous of phone calls and live chat to be disconnected or hung up on regular bases I had some very very rude and abupt staff over the phone to me patgonzing me down the phone and speaking to me like I'm a stupid person. I once was on my phone for four hours and spoke to 6 different people including the relation customer service team several times to be told oh well there is work going on in your area

I use my 3 phone as my work phone on a day to day basis and run by own business. There has been very poor signal at my place of work for 8 weeks now, numerous client calls have cut out half way through and I have lost significant amounts of business. Despite 3 saying this will not be sorted for some time they are unwilling to allow me to terminate my contract without paying a huge early termination charge. In my view they have breached my contract by no longer providing a working network. I originally signed up with 3 because I was told they had good coverage in my work place, this is no longer the case and they will not let me leave. I have spent hours on the phone to them with no success.

An absolute JOKE of a company!

Where do I start? The only reason I have to use this shower of fools is purely for work purposes.

I ring to top up the broadband and am ALWAYS in a queue. It's impossible to top up on line. They even have a dedicated line for the fact that you simply CAN'T ever top up on line thus incurring overinflated call charges!

You finally get to speak to someone who tries to keep you on line for even longer by trying to pass the time of day!!

After an age you are told that it's all been completed and to simply unplug and replug the dongle and hey presto!

NOOOO ! not the case - guess what? It does NOT get connected so you have to call back AGAIN and go through the whole procedure AGAIN.

I've got wise to this so today I'd gone through this whole frustrating sage and got put through to the 'technical dept' once AGAIN............

Here we go...The 'tech' was telling me how to plug and unplug the dongle - yes been going that for an hour! Next he asks me to take out sim and do a few other stupid things. At this point I asked if I was on the Ant and Dec show. My sarcasm was wasted on him but never mind!

I didn't do any of the things he said but I pretended to. Guess what after another FIVE minutes of stupid instructions the internet came on!!!! I hadn't actually done anything!!!!!!!!!!!

He couldn't believe I'd DARED to not follow his instructions!! lol

They obviously get people to keep calling and waiting until they decide to simply connect you!

Bought a new 24mth contract from THREE which came with a samsung mobile phone. Three months later the phone just became unusable, not least due to the garbage bloatware THREE preinstall, most of which I had uninstalled. It still left little imovable scabs, one was every time I touch the fone asking if I want to install THREE apps etc - Then the horror story really begins. THREE customer service just happened to mention fone warranty was ONE year, not the two years I signed up to. They also tried to get samsung to deal with the problem, giving me the runaround. I said my contract is with THREE YOU sort it out. Said they would send a new phone. never did. Made an official complaint and every step was blocked by them misusing the data protection act and claiming they cannot talk to me via email unless I give security details, despite the case already being open. So it was ok for me to send sensitive data but not for them. It then just became farcical and I gave up. They then advised I couldnt even complain to the ombudsman!!! A big fat lie. The network service itself was 2nd rate too. Many black spots and 3 and 4g unusable often. The company is a joke.

I have been with almost every phone provider and Three is by far the worst I had to cancel the contract within the colling off period. Three market an International sim so you can use calls, texts and data abroad. Nowhere on the website does it mention this actually only lasts for 2/3/4 (they still can't give a definite answer) until you are charged premium rates for using your phone abroad. I cancelled and have reported to ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) In addition to get my PAC code took my 10 days of constant calling (average hold time 45 minutes) to be put through to Mubai and to be told no comprende on most issues. A manager was due to call me back on 4 occasions during this time. They are so unhelpful. I really can't believe their service. Vodafone however text me my PAC code after leaving and their wait time is merely 5 minutes. I think i'l rejoin. DO NOT go with Three. They are an absolute Joke. also when you go into store they ask to scan your passport before giving you a sim card. I find this highly unnecessary (I mean it's not US border control And since three recently suffered a hack I think its a consumers right to be more careful as to where their unnecessary details are held.

I've been a Three mobile customer for 4 years and for 3 years I used to have unlimited data, this year I went to the shop and the guy told me to change it for 17 G instead keeping the unlimited contract. That's fine! It's cheaper and my average is 12G per month. However since there it becames a nightmare!!! EXTREMELY SLOW internet, internet goes out all the time... so annoying! Another thing on the day that i changed my contract they told me buy this and that and we will give you a £150 voucher for amazon. I was happy with that. £150 voucher who does't like it?? however when i checked it online they say the voucher will be redeemed after first payment (no problem) and then amazon could take 2 to 3 month to send the voucher...this was in August 2016 5 months passed and nothing!!! I wrote a complain to three and they ignored me!!! Very disappointed!!! I pay every month £55 for an useless service!!!!! Can't wait for next August to finish my contract.

I got a 300 minutes + 3000 texts + 12GB data to which cost me GBP20.

My problem are :
1. There are too much slower of data connection
2. There are too ofter 'disconnect' issue during surfing online
3. There are too much often 'NO SERVICE'.

It's not good to complaint, besides its not type of people who like to do so but all I can say here is.. I made a mistake when I thought that UK has its all the most highly quality both of services and performance. It's so embarrassing when I realise that is just wast't true at all

This is would be the first, and the last I'd use this ISP.
The most worst ISP that I would not recommended it to other service user.

Never have I experienced such appalling customer service, misinformation and zero value for loyal customers. As a whole Three is one of the worst broadband networks out there. They overcharge extensively even though they reassure you the data usage is capped and do not notify when this changes. Resulting in paying hundreds of pounds extra from what you expected to pay. Putting customers at a loss at their gain. If you're thinking of joining 3 and do in the future incure a problem please expect: long telephone calls, repeating yourself to multiple call handlers, with the end result being a waste of your time and money. Completely unprofessional.

I did cancelled my contract with them twice and they charge me £35 after my first cancellation (i did pay and i cancelled a second time the same contract) and they keeps calls me 5 times a day because?i did not cancelled my contract and i need to pay them £40.ive got a few letters from a debt collectors.it was a horrible experience.if you would like to cancel a contract make sure they understands you.

I wish there were 0 stars but unfortunately, I can rate minimum 1 star. I used this operator from January, and I am from overseas, when I asked them if I will or will not pay for when I am not here they said there will be no problem, you will be paying pay as you go, but then gave me monthly, so I had to pay all year even the 4 months which I was not in the UK. When I told them that they said it is not their problem, I have to go to the store where I bought it. Afterwards, this month they did not give me my new bill, so my usage this month added up to last month bill, so I had pay 30 pounds extra. Anyways, maybe it is cheap but the worst customer service and telephone operator I have ever seen.

Very Very poor customer service. call center just pss you irrelative department and spending your time at least 3 hours to solve issue. they are not helpful. they do not know.
