One of the worst service providers and even worse customer service!!
    Their IT infrastructure is terrible.
They have disconnected our broadband services without even giving us a warning. Why? Because we said that we need a change of address in a month's time!!!!
When we called them, after being shoved around from country to country customer services,we were promised to get back our broadband after 48hrs. When we called to ask again after 48hrs, there was no record of our previous calls!!!!!

One of the worst providers. Speeds are slow in the evening, connections keep dropping, router keeps disconnecting and restarting. Customer service keeps coming up with a different story every time. Awful service.

Switching from Vodafone today. Have spent 12 months trying to get access to the online MyVodafone account, to manage my broadband, which their technical team refuse to help with as 'it is nothing to do with them'. This isn't me forgetting a password. I have been through the process of setting this up 5 times now and receive an email each time confirming my username and password. I then go to log in with those same details and get an error code saying that I can't access my account. Despite this nonsense lasting 12 months Vodafone won't help. Absolutely shocking customer service - please avoid at all costs.

This is day 3 and still no Internet connection. Missed 2 important meetings with work. Surely this makes the contract void, vodafone aren't in line with it. So what happens now?

I have recently experienced the full Vodafone package, I found it unpleasant and it is to be avoided at all costs.

From the moment we installed the broadband the problems began, losing connection, screen freezing and buffering. TV connection is an important part of the package you have purchased.

However, lurking and ready to pounce on any unsuspecting customer who has the audacity to complain is the dreaded customer service.

The blaming of Openreach is always a favourite, checking and removing the bt cover and home diagnostic checks and the hours spent on the phone trying to resolve the issues are all part of the inclusive package.

The hours spent on the phone trying to resolve the issues, were indeed testing, I even had time for a shave and a shower whist waiting for one of their team to return to the phone.

The last straw was the refusal by 1 of their tech guys to transfer me to the cancellation team unless I agreed to pay the termination fee.
Needless to say I wished him a good day !!!

If by any chance you get the ok to cancel the contract without any charges check the release email as they are still prone to the odd mistake and included a charge of £79.52 on mine.

Subsequently I have been issued with a reference number linked to the waving of any charges.

The Tel no I rang for my get out of jail card was
    0333 304 0191.

I hope this review helps in the choosing of a broadband provider

Vodafone - terrible provider! Do not waste your time.
Waiting 7 weeks so far for home broadband, rude Indian call centre staff follow the same script, sarcastic tone, unclear speech, time-wasting, putting you on hold for long periods then no resolution. Offering callbacks but no callbacks made.

At each call different excuses are given for the delays, no engineers, damaged cable on the area, full fibre not yet switched on in my area (so why tell me it is when you were selling it to me?!!!), openreach are causing the delays.

Either way Vodafone are the provider so are responsible for providing the service.
Never waited for internet connection for this length of time ever.
One for the Ombudsman and trading standards.
Utter shambles, sub standard customer service, deserve zero stars

Horrendous service and internet wifi is the most unreliable i have ever installed, having to use my mobile phone to tether to my work office,as it will not connect 15 ft from the router.Cancelled contract after 4 months of engineers trying to resolve, yet being fobbed off stating they tried to call me,they dont they tell you what you you want to hear.30 days notice of cancellation issued, then they send a fee of £90 disconnection fee.
So under the consumer right act 2015,the trader has not used reasonable care to provide a reliable service under a reasonable time scale. So now its with the Ombudsman.

DO NOT USE VODAPHONE!!! It's been a month and still no home broadband set up, spent hours to Indian, Egyptian and Polish call centres, all staff useless, can't speak English clearly, say they will call back and resolve issue but nothing happens. Openreach arranged 3 visits, never turned up. Both companies blame each other for the issues.
    Absolutely disgusting customer service.

    [Read until the end]
I had Vodafone for 2 years. It was never a perfect internet, it would not work sometimes, but I was overall happy with mainly because of the competitive price.
Every changed on the 6th March when I received those messages "sorry you are leaving" as if I had requested a disconnection. I phoned Vodafone and told them I did not request a disconnection. The woman on the phone was very kind and when I asked for a SMS confirmation she provided it straightaway confirming the disconnection request was cancelled. However, a month later 6th April, OpenReach started to work outside of my house, they had only parked the car and my wife went out to ask what was happening and told them we had not requested our internet to be disconnected, they apologised and left. The internet was working fine, in the afternoon of the same day, my internet suddenly stopped working.
I phoned Vodafone who then told me my internet was disconnected as requested by me. Regardless of what I told them a month before and regardless of telling them I had a SMS to prove it, they said there was nothing they could do and SKY had picked up my line. I told them I did not care about landline, I just needed internet as I work from home. They said i would have to wait at least until mid-May to get my internet restored and I would have to subscribe a 48-month contract. I explained to them my internet was working "a minute ago" how come now I have to wait until nxt month to get it connected. They made me to speak with different teams and different managers and nobody was able to simply restore my internet connection. This took me about 6 hours in different days talking to different teams.
On the 18th April I received an email with my monthly bill, charging me for the month of April/May. Then I phoned them again on the 19th April and told them this was unacceptable and I was not going pay for it and that they should not charge it to me. After a while they were trying to convince me to reconnect with Vodafone, but I still would have to wait at very least 2 weeks, which I undoubtely refused. The manager then phoned me back and said I was not going to be charged and apologised for all mess they had done.
27th April they charged me anyway, despite numerous calls and confirmation. This is such a messy company, I had never seen this in my life. Phoned them now again 2nd May and asked for refund and confirmation in SMS of the refund. I received SMS confirming it and hope I will get the refund too.
Whenever come to your mind the company you work for is disorganised, remember Vodafone is there to go above and beyond your bad expectations.

Vodafone pro work fine whe full fibre is active. I had a fault within 1 week of getting it installed and it switched to the 4g backup which was pointless. The 4g speed is unusable. Can't watch Netflix or anything else. Pointless backup.

    Worst.customer.service.ever.

Calling them customer service is an affront to customer service.

Every option designed to kick you out, but no one on chat. Pro tip, just go to cancellation department (always a person) and say you will cancel if they don't (insert thing you need help with)

Worst broadband I’ve ever had. Dial up was more reliable. And if something goes wrong, prepare to lose an hour of your life on their “chat” all this is despite paying extra for them to monitor my connection and act if there is an issue. It once have they done so, they just wait for you lose the will enough to tell them.

We've had vodaphone broadband for almost 3 years now I think. It has been terrible every single second. If I was the person in charge of the wifi in the house then I would have moved from them long ago. When it works, it works rather well admittedly. However, The chances of it working are slim. It works best from around 7-10pm. During the early morning and mid day it is attrocious. I'm a uni student and spend a lot of time on the internet trying to do work but for the past few weeks I've resorted to using my phone data to do work since vodaphone has struggled to load anything. It has a hard time allowing me to send an email, let alone load multiple web pages. If you get in contact with customer service they are more than happy to apologise and sort it out for you. From that point on your wifi will be great, for a week then it it will revert back to poor performance. If you are considering vodaphone for your house, stop and find someone, anyone else.

Recently changed to Vodafone for Broadband and landline. Broadband router WiFi signal is weak, devices that connected to my old BT Router didn't work until the Vodafone Router was moved. Broadband connection is fast when it works but drops out quite often. Land line charges are huge. The advertised cost is £23 per month. My last bill was over £70

Several weeks ago I was offered faster broadband on a promotion. I followed the link thinking it would be a straightforward process. Of course it wasnt. Ive spent my time talking to people I could barely understand. Made appointments that noone turns up for. Then there's excuses stating BT Openreach are too busy. In the end I gave up and told them to do what they want. They are truly, all over the place. Poor service.

I've got the deal for a broadband on 23rd of March. It's 21 of April already and the optical fibre haven't yet been connected. Since then two visits of city fibre engineer had been scheduled. On both of the visits no work was done. The first engineer did show up, yet prefer canvassing instead of the work he supposed be doing. The second engineer missed the appointment completely. Both time I was required to take my time off work and only just to be ommited by the engineer. Each time I've raised a complaint and new timeslots for engineer visit were proposed. I've told myself to give it a try for a third time, however I learned that my order get cancelled, thus I would be required to go through whole process one more time. I don't care enough to just stay with Vodafone (I've been Vodafone client for 4 years) and will not tolerate this any longer so I'm going to look for the other priver offers as I will recommend my friends to do likewise. Worst experience ever.

I haven't even received by broadband yet, it was delayed a week, then cancelled and I wasn't informed, and now I've just spent 5 hours on calls to get it set up for two weeks from now, when it was supposed to be working today (or a week ago even).

To add insult to injury, the offer that I took when I went for the package has been withdrawn since, so even though it wasn't my fault, Vodafone won't give me the original price and now I'm even having to pay more, on top of the longer wait, and the hours upon hours wasted on calls and the useless chatbot.

Avoid if you can. If you can't, I wish you luck.

DO NOT CHOOSE VODAFONE!They agreed they would connect broadband on 8th April 2022 still not connected! I called them numerous times just get told they will provide an update and call back and never do. No attempt at resolution just pretend to empathise but do nothing to resolve or escalate. Keep away, they are useless!

Wi-Fi blocks absolutely every website with the word hack in it, meaning it is completely un useable for me as I'm studying ethical hacking at university. The restrictions are stupid e.g. they block exploit-db which is literally made by google. Furtherly they blocked Student finance application website for being insecure, its literally a government website. If you play 2 consoles at once it fails to connect to servers. Overall the worst experience I've had with Wi-Fi... EE Wi-Fi is better and that's saying something.

What adds insult to injury you can open all phishing links if you wanted to and Vodafone won't block one so they're 'Security measures' are absolutely pointless.

Also I live in a new build with very thin walls and get 1 bar in my bedroom which is laughable.

Being the cheapest on the market was their only upside but BT fibre is cheaper and twice as fast with speed guarantees and they don't block any website unless you set websites to be blocked.

If you read this and think its good Wi-Fi for a house with kids you are wrong as P*rn isn't blocked just important educational sources.

    Vodafone calls it "SecureNet"... Cute.

    Woeful, please avoid.
I have had Pro Gigafast 900 broadband for just over 3 months now.
After 8 weeks my line was just shut off one morning for no apparent reason. It seems there was a cancellation order put through, though neither vodafone nor city fibre would take responsibility for this error.
I spent more time than you can imagine (6hours on one day) on the phone to, and stuck on hold with vodafone. It took 11 days of no internet, a whole new account and checking process to finally get up and running again. I was compensated and I thought that would be the end of it.
    Alas, no.
This morning I got up to my broadband not working again, after a queue for 30 minutes I had a wholly unsatisfactory conversation with a "tech" person who informed me that City fibre were doing some work and that an outage would last usually for 24-48 hours. There is no warning that this is going to happen so I was just generally inconvenienced.
I have now plugged in the back up dongal supplied and my 910MBS is now running at a download speed of 15.1MBS and an upload speed of 8.93MBS. Whilst this is completely unacceptable, the funniest bit of all is that I am using up the back up data, so in the long run this will cost me when it runs out. The fact is, I should have my quota still as this is yet another situation that the Vodafone and City Fibre partnership has created.
I then asked the "tech guy" to put me through to complaints and was told on 4 occasions that I wasn't allowed whilst the outage is ongoing. This will mean that I will have to call vodafone yet again and waste my time becoming irate in a queue again to complain about an outstanding poor service again!
Please avoid, this is not a one off thing, the whole experience is woeful.

I switched over from Talktalk some years ago to Vodafone which was a blessed relief to be free of Talktalk. Internet was down for about 10 days when Vodafone took over due to their inability to switch the service. They eventually worked it out and did the switch. I fought for compensation which they eventually agreed to. Then the connection speed (basic fibre) was about 35% below the stated figure, for which they again provided a discount. Fast forward a couple of years and when they raised their prices I called them to negotiate. They offered me fibre to the home, which was an upgrade, all for £1 less than I was currently paying. Sound like a good deal? Sure. Well, BT Openreach came and swapped the old copper line for a fibre one. The engineer said it should start working in about half an hour. I called Vodafone a few hours later and they said it will take up to 72 hours to work. Definitely NOT warned about this before agreeing. The activation date was clearly stated on the email and now they wanted 3 days more. OK, well, what can you do except wait? Four days later still no Internet. Again I call them and spend over an hour (mostly on hold listening to the same 3 songs on repeat!!!!) on the phone with an Indian woman who I could only understand every third word she said (very different to Vodafone's previous Egyptian customer service reps who spoke perfect English). I asked to speak to a manager and was told one would call me within 24 hours. Guess what? No call back. And she told me I would have to wait for.... another 72 hours for the Internet to be set up. Sound familiar? Well, here we are, 5 days and still no further along. Time to cancel and move to Sky. For anyone reading this, ask yourself how much your time is worth and whether you really need the stress in your life for what should be a simple thing. If, however, you have more than enough time and not enough frustration, please feel free to use Vodafone. I wish you all the best.

DO NOT USE VODAFONE - USE VIRGIN INSTEAD. Takes literally hours to be put through to a Vodafone agent. We were not connected and they sent us a text to say that they we needed to call them. When we finally connected they said they needed to speak to Openreach. You would have thought that they should already have done that and it would simply be a case of updating me. After an hour on the phone and Vodafone saying that we would have to wait a month for our internet to be installed with no other alternatives the phone line went dead. I was forced to start all over again. As a write this (mainly as stress relief) I am another 56 minutes into a call and no further forward. Add this to two abortive attempts to contact them yesterday where I was on hold for over 25 minutes a pop and I am thoroughly annoyed. No email to contact them and they don't put the reference number they seek in any of their texts so you have to spend ages going through their menu each time you call... use Virgin instead - Much better service and worth the extra cost. Wish I had stuck with them! Pass this on!

Having had trouble with Vodafone for many months which was wholly unreliable they persuaded me to upgrade my system with a booster box. This upgrade proved even worse!! In my package I had “immediate access to the support team”. What nonsense!! I literally spent hours trying to contact them without success. Their chat line was useless and despite repeated requests for an engineers visit they did all they could to avoid this. Having decided to cancel their package I couldn’t even do this online as my internet connection kept freezing. After hours of trying by phone I finally managed to cancel. Never again. I switched to a Sky package which is perfect and upon receipt it made me realise even more how bad the Vodafone package was.

I tried to sign up for broadband with Vodafone. We had an installation date given. I checked the status of my order the day before installation as I hadn't received any equipment only to find that Vodafone had cancelled my order! No-one had advised us of this. I contacted them to find out why it had been cancelled only to find out that they couldn't transfer our landline number, so instead of contacting us to ask us if we were happy with having a new landline number, they didn't and just cancelled it without advising us. We were supposed to have a dongle in the package as a broadband backup, and throughout our order process we were sent texts to advise that it was out of stock and would be sent soon. I've spent the last 2 days trying to get hold of someone who can help me because as of today, we will be without broadband and a landline as our original contract was swapped. So far I've been transfered 9 times and counting....... They are telling me now that my original plan does not exist and that I would need to pay £4 a month more for the same service. AVOID VODAFONE AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Reliability is so poor. It’s crashes 2-3 times a day even we the house isn’t full.
Customer service takes a long time to speak to somebody. Was given another booster which had no impact. Other 4 times I’ve contacted them, I was told to move the extender around the room a bit. They test a strong signal but it’ll crash daily still.
The price was also been put up to cover costs.

Please don’t use. I’ll go back to BT as soon as I can get out of this contract.

My household has been with Vodafone for a painstaking 19 months. First few months after set up were fine then 6 months in broadband reliability dropped, which Vodafone did discount on our monthly bills. A few months prior to our contract ending to present we may as well not of hand broadband. The WiFi will only connect to the TV which is directly next to the router and every other device says connected but no Internet so I have been having to use my mobile data to hotspot other devices in the house. I have contacted Vodafone on numerous occasions and they have confirmed the line is experiencing drop outs and sent out a BT engineer which hasn't solved the issue, was also told that the reason why its not connecting to one of my devices is because its a Samsung TV and the Samsung software blocks the WiFi? Then on my last occasion I spent 4 hours on chat to someone while they reconfigured the settings while trying to guide me through dismantling the BT Internet wall plug?! I was previously with BT and only switched as the monthly cost was becoming far too expensive but I never had any issues in the 4 years I was with them, after the last correspondence with Vodafone we have decided to switch back to our trusted BT for a better router, reliability and connection.

Vodafone got the most incompetent team. For weeks I've been contacting them, speaking to them for hours, they can't get my problem solved. I came up with different solutions but they don't seem to have an understanding for solving problems. They're so egoistic, one possible solution was to simply contact another Internet provider but they won't do it as it affects their non existing reputation. So fu*king stupid.

I joined Vodafone 3 weeks ago and have Vodafone Pro Broadband 900mbps and landline phone. My speed check gives me around 320mbps. My phone has been cutting out mid conversation and when streaming a film from my NAS type device I sometimes get the stream dropping. I tried VF chat this morning and found no agents available and was instructed to phone customer services which in turn were too busy and instructed to try chat. Why did I leave Virginmedia?

Just increased their prices mid-contract by nearly 10%!! Not impressed. It’s in the small print so be careful before signing up to a 24 month contract as they increase their prices by this much every year.

AVOID, should have gone live with broadband and phone line 28th January, 8 further failed activation dates, blaming openreach, I raised a disconnection of my contract and line for 29th March so could move to another provider....as of today 31st march I can't move to another provider as vodafone haven't cancelled.
Had 3 case workers dealing with this, asked to repeat same information every week with emails asking me to contact them if broadband still not active, explained I was housebound but not interested, horrendous 8 weeks dealing with them.
CISAS will be hearing about this.

    HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
We booked our home broadband to have it activated 2 weeks ago..still, we don't have internet..is not working and they don't send us any engineers to see where is the problem. In this property, we had before NowTV and we never had any issues but we wanted more Megas and it was the reason that we thought let's do a change. But it has been a big mistake. As Vodaphone is not helping us, they only send us some guidance to fix the issue by myself, and is not working and they don't give us any feedback. Over the phone also they are very rude and clueless about the problem...the logical thing is to send an engineer. I am trying also to cancel my account asap!

The service was supposed to be activated on 28/03/22 something that did not happen as the engineers identified a problem with the fibre optic network. Their support / customer service is useless. I've wasted 70 minutes chatting with them only to be told to remain at home until the engineers come back (most probably by tomorrow evening). I can't really review the quality of the service but their CC is really bad.

Quite easily the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Failed at every hurdle, and when you have issues you'll be on hold for over an hour before finally being sent from pillar to post via an indian call centre. Cannot stress enough to avoid this company.

I wanted to be connected to broadband and actually paid to be connected, from there everything went wrong. I'll keep a long story short and just say be wary and be careful.

Absolutely appalling service. In every chat or call they give a different reason of what the problem is and 4 days after the going live day... still no internet access. Was told every 24h that it was to be resolved within 24h... just unbelievable
