Can not rate Virgin enough. I have waiting for 1 month for BT to set my internet up... Been messed around so much, they were rude, useless and didn't seem to care about losing me as a customer when I cancelled my contract. Virgin were so helpful, efficient and got my internet working in 48 hours - can't fault them at all! |

I have heard of bad reports, but all i can say I have been with Virgin and it's predecessor for over ten years (After BT's constant greed and strangle hold of market) and see no reason change. It is more expensive than others, but probably no more than any others after the new customer incentives. I have just been upgraded to "Vivid" at no extra and enjoying 150mbs downloading . result! |

Great service, had no real problems except for a replacement Tivo box as the hard drive failed. Speed is great and had no problem with the routers. Too many moaners,don't complain about the speed unless you are hard wired into the router, I don't care if your 1nm away from the router WiFi is shared bandwidth so your neighbours could be using it all up! |

A little expensive but there are no other providers who can match the speed to compare to. Rock steady and fast broadband. My experience of the customer service is good, especially if you speak to someone in Scotland. No complaints at all over the broadband speed or stability. We run numerous devices at once and achieve speeds over 40 Mbps wirelessly on them all and stream Netflix wirelessly wothout any issues in HD. |

I have been with Virgin Media for a number of years (BT previously) and have nothing but a good reliable service. All the services I subscribe to work fine without issue and VM customers help line are prompt to answer and advise. I Just upgraded to the new Superhub 3 (self install) without a hitch. I am a bit surprised on the issues VM customers appear to be having. |

I am completely satisfied with VMs service especially now we have 5Mb upload just around the corner. Customer service has always been good. There have never been any outages and speeds are virtually always at or slightly above 50Mb. |

after 15 min on the telephone frustrated and angry i got passed on to amey she was so helpful and friendly. i she calmed me down and seemed to be in my best interest the way she dealt with the problem was really good.. in the end i was for 25 min on the phone/hold and still ended up thanking her.. good costumer service from her!! |

I'm going to buck the trend of moaners on here and say loved virgin media in every property I've been in. Gutted moving to an area where VM is unavailable. Speeds are thenominal and price is decent too £27 for quick broadband! Try beat that |

Virgin media has always been a great provider of all the packages. My broadband and Wifi went down last night and I called for assistance and the gentleman was very helpful and told me exactly what he was going to do. He then stated it will be back on within 7 hours and true to form this was the case. |

I got great service in the St Helens Store when I signed up for a Big Kahuna package. The guy went through everything with me and matched big to this package he was very knowledgable and even when I got installed the engineer was great to. Very happy with my 152mb broadband. Great quality product. If you are looking to sign up I highly recommend going into this store or contacting them on 017447393939. |

Been with Virgin Media for six months on a fibre to the house connection. It is a 200MB connection and the speed is amazing. My wife and I have numerous computers, wired and wireless, and it is very reliable. Never had any problems so no experience with customer service. |

Virgin media provide very fast broadband... sometimes. If you don't care about your internet dropping out for 2 minutes every 40 minutes or so then you should go with virgin. Unless of course you want a technical call center that can actually listen to you instead of trying the same thing every time you call which didn't fix the problem the first time. I personally feel a half hour wait for the complaints department is excessive but that's probably due to the number of people calling about their poor service. |

Been with virgin media over 2 years now and I can't fault them...I've only had problems with internet twice and both times they sent an engineer out to me within 24 hours in fact this last time I rang them at 10pm last night and without hesitation engineer will b sent to you 2moro between 8 am and 12 pm...problem solved within 14 hours....never ever had that with sky I used to beg for an engineer as broadband terrible but they always refused....so big shout out to virgin...credit where it's due and thankyou for your prompt efficient service |

Refreshingly satisfying broadband service. Had virgin for 2 years now and apart from once I haven't experienced any issues, on the contrary the internet is super fast and the videos and movies upload within seconds. Looking at the reviews on here am genuinely shaking my head. Try sky or BT if u really want something to complain about |

I would like to say BIG thank you to the one of Virgin Media engineer which came to our house on Tuesday, October 11th around 2 pm, for putting an effort and try to "speak " with my mum (she doesn't speak English) , using translator on his phone. That was really nice!!! THANK YOU!!! |

I can't believe all these bad reviews !!. We got rid of BT in favour of Virgin Media and I should have done it years ago. The call staff were excellent and explained everything thoroughly and all went to plan. The installer was on time and very polite and helpful. He made everything very easy and straightforward. We had a total install . . TV. .broadband and phone and all was completed up and running perfectly in 2 hours. No mess no hassle. The charges were explained and in my opinion very good value for money. It is much cheaper than BT even after the promo ends. Everything working well with no hick ups. . . Broadband has not missed a beat yet and the TV is crystal clear. Thank you VM for a top class service. |

NOT satisfied with the broadband outages that keep occurring quite regularly for at least a week for no real reason and how long it takes to get it sorted EVERY TIME, but EXTREMELY satisfied with the Virgin Media engineer who spent a long time sorting out the fault, which was successful. I don't know his second name but his first name is James and he visited our property on 21/10/2016. Thank you James! He persevered and was lovely and very apologetic |

Don't know why other customers complain about virgin costing so much to contact as they use a free phone service, i have no complaints get 48 - 49mb regularly on a hard wired connection & using wireless it drops due to it changing priorities on the wireless router as hard wired gets main use for ps3. I am very satisfied & problems ( 3 )i've had over the last 10 years have been dealt with promptly. No real complaints other than them insisting on installing the 50mb modem for an extra £35 when i could have done it myself. |

We have been with Virgin for a few years and they have ripped us off, adding things we didn't use (eg more speed than we ever wanted or needed), then increasing our bill without any choice within a few months! They have charged an arm and a leg for phonecalls, and not told us about better tariffs, even when their marketing guys phoned us and we asked if they could improve things. I am a customer who usually stays loyal to a company but this time I can't wait to change to someone more reputable! |

I have had virgin media fibre optic broadband for more than 5 years now. It is ONLINE 99.9% of the time. Even if their system goes down for a day they refund £5 on the monthly bill. Internet is super fast and extremely reliable. The only downside is the cost which is expensive compared to something like TalkTalk but the peace of mind achieved by taking Virgin is priceless. I know this because i have two houses and one has virgin fibre and other has talktalk adsl. Just get the fibre optic, you will thank yourself. I am writing this review because i am missing my virgin broadband at other house since it is being renovated now. |

I am totally satisfied with VM's service. I get 104Mb/9.7Mb 24/4. My ping is generally below 10ms with jitter no more than 1. The icing on the cake is 120Mb/12Mb by the end of May. |

I have to say Virgin Media has been an excellent provider. Any difficulties experienced have been resolved quickly. Their customer service is excellent. One minor criticism, is that they do need to check authenticity, but using Virgin home phone when calling I would have thought that was enough for an enquiry, but have to go through checks re password etc - perhaps that is a fact of this modern technology. |

Don't let anything go wrong with your broadband or bill as their customer service is appalling. When I opened my account I was given the wrong information by the operator and this has resulted in me being out of pocket of £50. When I called for help, none was given and on top of that they could not have been more patronising. If I knew how incompetent their staff was I would have chosen a different internet operator. |

So far been with Virgin Media for 24 months for the first 18 months I had TV (Tivo and V+) Broadband and Phone had been perfect. after my contract finished I cannceld the TV pavkage and upgrade my broadband from 100MB to 152MB now it my first time with VM and got to say the best ever. Even helped me but canceling a 3 months bill due to been laid off. THANKS VIRGIN MEDIA AND THANKS RICHARD BRANDSON NEVER BSKYB AGAIN |

1 year with Virgin Media so far so good. Our Virgin Media Super Hub is excellent, most of the time we are getting about 50Mbps download, 3Mbps upload and about 20ms ping on a Wi-Fi which is great. The internet is pretty stable. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Can't believe they have so many bad reviews! |
